Went in for a quick state inspection. The receptionist Diane was soo amazing and pleasant!! Loved talking with her. I got in and out for my inspection. About 20 minutes. She even promptly called the state for me to make sure my LED Headlights were legal so I can pass my inspection. You rock!

The owner/mgr./master mechanics name is Marc. Hes backed up by his wife Diane and their two sons, and they run one of the best, and finest, independently owned businesses I could possibly imagine. The main thing here is they do quality grade A work at an ALWAYS fair price. And after they get to know your car (and you) a little, will absolutely go out of their way to get you fixed up with an answer to your cars problem, at that reasonable pricing. He can do it all, including advice as to whether its economically feasible to even spend that money on your car to fix it versus looking for different options. There are options for buying used cars that they have serviced through the years, and whose owners are now looking to sell. This is how I acquired my Toyota Avolon for a very very reasonable price from a satisfied owner who had come to them for years (a one owner garage kept car). My Toyota is in outstanding condition and Ive spent little money to keep it that way for the almost two years Ive had the pleasure to own it. To put it briefly, these folk are honest and wont take advantage of you like you know some people out there will and do every day. Go here...>>> and expect outstanding service work. Not a good place for complex repair. They talk you into changing things you do not need, wipe the engine light off. As soon as you drive out of the lot the light comes back on. Beware of their long conversation. It is all b.s. not a good place for complex repair. Not a good place for complex repair. Spent almost a 1000$ for a simple repair here and they did not fix. But made me buy a lot of things that I did not need. I dont review a lot but avoid this place if you have engine light on and want to fix.

For many years, my girlfriend and I have been going to this location to have our oil changed, and for various car repairs. Weve always been pleased with their service. In addition, the gentleman who owns this shop is very knowledgeable, and always happy to answer any questions about the work theyre doing on our vehicles.When I stopped in today for an oil change, there was a sign prominently displayed on the door stating that anyone who enters must wear a mask. Since Governor Abbott recently imposed a state-wide order that masks must be worn in public, this is, of course, an appropriate notice for them to post. Upon entering the waiting area, I noticed two employees working on vehicles, both of whom were wearing masks. In addition, the two other customers in the waiting area (aside from myself) were also wearing masks.However, the owners wife, for some reason, chose not to wear one. When she indicated that my car was ready, I approached the cash register to pay. Not only did she fail to put on a mask, she made no effort to distance herself from me as I presented my credit card. When she placed my receipt on the counter, I very politely asked if she would mind taking a couple of steps back from the counter so I could safely retrieve it. She did so, but not before rather sarcastically stating No problem!I take no pleasure in writing this review. Good mechanics are hard to find, and Ive been happy with this business work for many years. However, I take issue with a company who, for no good reason (and in violation of a governors order), would needlessly put its customers health at risk... all the while REQUIRING its customers to do the very thing that they themselves refuse to do. They have forever lost our business.

Saw them 3wks ago for an inspection, but our family have been using this Kwik Kar for over 8yrs. They have never steered us wrong and saved us time and time again on a repair that was needed by the dealership, but was not actually the problem. We will keep using Kwik Kar for however long they remain open for business!! Everyone is wonderful and take the time to listen!
I’ve been going to this Kwik Kar for almost 20 years now. I trust them completely. It’s a family owned business and they are honest people. They have kept my 1999 Ford Truck working great that whole time, along with both my husband and son’s trucks. I highly recommend this Kwik Kar.

Wow, what outstanding service! Ive never been in and out of a car service shop so quickly! I needed an oil change, and I was out the door in under 20 minutes! The man at the counter was kind and knew exactly what I wanted. Im no expert on cars, but these guys really knew what they were doing! They also checked my car for any other issues before returning it to me. Considerate, knowledgeable, and expedient service from a family-owned business. I will be back!! :)
For state inspection and oil changes they are fine, though you can go cheaper for oil changes. Anything else I would advise going elsewhere. The times I have brought my car there, they treated it as an inconvenience, if you ask questions they are rude, arrogant, and will talk down to you. There are plenty of places around that do a better job and will appreciate my business. This place has received the last of my business.
I like this place. Everyone is friendly and I always get good service on my car. Ive only had oil changes done but Ive had that did incorrect at other places. This place (Kwik Kar at Trinity Mill/Midway) actually fills/tops off my fluids. My windows are always clean really good.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called to get a pricing on an oil change and gave my vehicle information. I then showed up only to be told a different price and to have a rude mechanic try to tell me stuff about my car that the dealership I bought from has already informed me on. They acted as if i was bothering them by asking for clarity and I left without getting anything done because they were rude!! Go to Kwik Kar on Frankford. Way better service and better prices.
Taken my car here a few times. Always punctual, and courteous.Last time I was there, they pointed out I had an oil leak as a seal had failed on the top of my engine. (Or something, I could have the details wrong). But they asked if Id noticed a burning smell when driving. I had, but only long distances.They gave me a fair quote, and told me that while I should totally get it fixed, it wasnt a today level problem. I appreciated that, as money was tight. And sure enough, when I have checked my oil level, its creeping down, but not bad.So I appreciate them being honest about the state of my vehicle.

Mark & Dianne and their crew is excellent at their job. They know what they are talking about when it comes to car problems.When I take my cars in for service I know for certain that they will not sell me something that is not needed or they may give me a timeline that by next oil change this or that we need to take a look at.They always explain everything very thoroughly.Other car mechanics that I have used in the past always leaves me with the feeling that I was taken advantage of and a few times I was correct.I can definitely refer this Kwik Car due to my own experience with Mark & Dianne. I will never take my cars to any other service station.

Aprx 4pm. Drop off my husband’s truck for them to charge the battery.A couple of hours to charge.It’s now 8pm. I we wondered why we haven’t heard from them. I Googled to check their hours. They closed at 6pm. Never told us that. Never called us to update us before they closed.Unprofessional.
Went in for an inspection and oil change. They asked what I needed when i went inside I told them a synthetic oil change and a safety inspection with NO emissions test since its registered in a county that doesnt require it the cashier (kc) said okay. I was clear on it no emissions test. I go to pay and get charged for the emissions test i ask about it and they say they do it anyway same cashier(kc) The time to tell me that they do it is before the service is performed when I explicitly say no emissions test not when its time to pay. The owner seemed very knowledgeable and friendly.
I dropped my car off today a little before 8:30, this morning. My vehicle needed to have the air conditioning and brakes looked at before I left town. ( I went yesterday at 4 and they told me they wouldnt have time to look at it then) they said it would be about an hour and a half. I said fine, and left. By 11, Id still not heard back. I get there and see a mechanic socializing for a good five minutes with a customer clearly not working. Its my turn and I tell the lady I was there to pick up my car. She informed me theyd not even started looking at it, which the mechanic blurts out there were SEVEN cars in front of me! I have no idea how that was even possible since all the customers waiting, were new and clearly I was not a priority. He was so rude and then stormed back to the shop. This is aggravating to say the least especially when Id been waiting over two hours. Clearly I will not return but this is not acceptable and should not be tolerated. My morning is gone and I now need a new shop to look at my vehicle before I can leave town.
I have nothing but great things to say about the service here. I have taken all of my vehicles here for over the last 10 years, knowing they will always take care of me and my car in the best way. Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust these days, especially a place knowledgable in all aspects of a vehicle. I refer them to everyone I know, fully backing their work and professionalism.
This is a family business. I have been coming here for more than 10 years and have always been pleased with their work. At times they have told me that certain parts or systems were fine when I thought they were broken and they didn’t charge me for looking at it. I trust them completely. They deserve a lot of the credit for my Toyota having almost 170,000 miles and driving like a 30,000-mile car.

SCAM! went in to get a state inspection and they said my “window tint was too dark” i’ve had this car for three years and had no problems, purchased from Carmax. When I went back to Carmax the next day they claimed that I was getting scammed, and that my tint was fine, passed inspection. SHADY PLACE THAT MAKES MONEY OFF OF FAKE FAILED INSPECTIONS.
The owner, Mark is amazing!!! He took the time to explain to us what was going on with our vehicle. I dont mean just blabbering but he took the time to let us know and that meant everything to us. RUN!! DISHONEST BUSINESS! If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was out of town on business and my fiancé needed an oil change. I had been in before, met the owner and felt like it was a decent place, I couldnt have been more wrong. She went in for her oil change and they came in with the cabin filter, which takes about 30 seconds to replace behind the glove box. They charged her $40 to replace it. So when I got home I checked it myself and found a new cabin filter, crumpled up in a wad where they just stuffed it in, didnt even manage to put it right! Trust me, I wish I could share the photo of it. And to top it all off, I bought the top of the line cabin filter (much better than the junk they installed) and it was only $16. And..... they didnt even reset her maintenance required light. What a rip off! Somebody taught these guys how to up sell, maybe they should teach them how to work on cars too.
I got my car back from them and now my hood wont open. Coincidence, maybe. They are unwilling to consider responsibility. Ive spent just over $6K with them in the past few months on two cars. Mark (Owner) - You have my number if you would care to discuss. We noticed the hood wouldnt open when the engine coolant light came on. This is probably related to the repairs you recently completed on my coolant system. Coincidence, maybe. Id be willing to pay for the hood latch parts if they would cover the labor. Also, my son paid you a diagnostic fee to find out that the car needed a fuse related to the coolant system you had just repaired. Id like to discuss that as well. Lastly, when my son requested to talk with you (the certified mechanic) he was told no. Lets try to move your rating from 1 star to 5 starts. Sincerely, Jack
My wife and I visited Kwik Kar the week that Marc and Diane took ownership of the shop (that was about ~15 years ago). Weve been loyal customers ever since. Mark knows cars (in great detail!) and is passionate about servicing them in a proper manner. Ive always trusted their guidance and still do.

Ive been going to this family owned shop for YEARS. Never had any issues and theyve always clearly explained the work. Live in Lewisville, and drive past several other shops to get to this one. Id recommend them to anyone for any of your vehicle servicing needs.
I got my battery and alternator replaced Early January. The battery light started to flicker on and off three weeks after. I finally go to get both the battery and alternator tested today. As I am pressing the gas to test the alternator I heard a loud pop, then a clanking. I looked up and see liquid spewing from under the hood. I let off the gas and ran around to see under the hood. Oil is everywhere, a hose is loose, my alternator belt is shredded, and Im mortified. I had just drooped hundreds of dollars on this car less than a month prior. Im thinking, Ugh not again! My kids were with me too! Im immediately thinking about costs. Towing, Lyft, repair and labor, and I could just cry. My kids and I walked over to the kwik kar shop, which was right next to the auto parts place I was parked at. I was just praying that someone In there would be able to at least look at my car. I explained what happened to a lady that was in there at the desk. She said no one could help cuz they were closing soon. Defeated, I said ok and walked back to my car. I was about to get a lyft when the guy I saw behind the desk at kwik kar walks up from around the corner. He says Maam, Im gonna take a look at this for ya. He looks at it, buys the part from the store to fix the hose, then tells me everything I need to know. The guy that worked on it a before left a whole loose metal tube under my hood! Thank God there wasnt more damage! The guy from the shop decides hes gonna go ahead and have his shop guys look at it tomorrow. It turns out he owns the shop and was able to make sure it gets done on priority. The shop was technically closed. I had to walk back over there cuz my son left his back pack. That was no problem. He had the keys. Im over there. At the shop. Filled out a form. I walked out after many Thank yous, and I was about to call a lyft to get home. Here comes my hero again. He asked where I lived and ended up taking us home. If you knew the day Id had. That man restored my faith in humanity. A complete stranger came through for me in a huge way! God is real, and the good you do matters. Thank you Mark and Dianne for helping us out that day!
I arrived at the location and told the mechanic I needed an oil change. I mentioned I was on a road trip and needed to get back on the road soon. A friend told me they normally service cars in about 20 minutes, he is a regular customer. An hour and a half later I am still waiting for my car. They told me they were waiting on an oil filter. General logic would dictate that if one was informed a customer was short on time, the business should check to make sure they have all required materials for the job before beginning. This was not the case. They could have checked their stock for a filter before draining the oil out of my car and effectively stranding me. They gave me a $5 discount for my wait. Total service time: 94 minutes. Total cost after discount and with taxes $82 for a synthetic oil change. I could have gotten it done cheaper and had the car washed at a dealer for less time than I spent here.
Ive been coming to this Kwik Kar location for 10 years for oil changes, state inspections and issues with my battery. Ive never had a bad experience here. I have always been addressed immediately and never had to wait more than 20 minutes. Their prices are clearly posted and Ive never had anyone try to overcharge me or rip me off in any way. I bought a battery here once and even though the problem was with my car, they honored the warranty that came with the battery and replaced it twice at no charge. Their prices may seem high when compared to some place like Walmart, but you are paying for quality AND quick service. Today I paid $37 for my full service oil change and $40 for my state inspection. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The family that owns and operates this place are nice and seem to genuinely care. They were quite nice and patient with me when I was dealing with my cars battery issue. If this place was as bad as some of the reviews claim, I wouldnt keep giving them my business year after year. Ill be back here for my next oil change.

I have been going here for over 12 years and never a bad experience. Never had mechanical work done - just oil changes, state inspections, and a couple minor adjustments but always good service and good advice - some of the people there are car nuts and care about cars. Big yellow lab in the office is Spark Plug and little one is Shelby. Recommend.

This place is awesome. Why? I have been taking my car to other stores to get my oil change regularly. When bringing it here I find out that the others had not been doing the regular checks. Went here for engine oil change... They didnt do proper job. When next engine oil change came around, I went to different shop to find out that there was almost no engine oil in it and I could have had been with serious repair if this other shop didnt find out. I had to spend more money to flush and then put engine oil in it.
Unprofessional and rude service. Will avoid in the future and tell everyone I know to do the same. It’s a shame because other locations have friendly and helpful service. This location just happened to be closer but not worth the convenience with such awful customer service.

I like this place because they just seem like down-to-earth, concerned business associates. The manager and lead mechanic( who, I believe, is probably the owner or manager) has always dealt with me very honestly. He takes pride in explaining the what, why, how and how much involved in vehicle care. They referred me once to a transmission shop. When THAT shop mishandled their referral and provided bad customer service, Kwik Kar stopped referring folks to them. We have 4 vehicles that all go here for maintenance and inspections.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I won’t be coming back to this location. My company has been bringing the fleet to this location for a long time. I have recently found out they never replace the filters, and most times they did not fill the oil in during oil changes. To assure we weren’t jumping the gun and assuming things pictures were taken before taking it to the location, and sure enough they would change out our gas cap. I was told not to take it here anymore, and they warned me never to go again. I have been here the last 3 oil changes, and sure enough, my filter looks terrible, like it’s not been replaced in a long time. Most mechanics are rude as can be, and they claim to give you synthetic oil, they up charge you but don’t actually give it to you, if you are lucky to even get it filled. They have over filled my tires in the past, and have had to release the air in them. I would not recommend this location to anyone!
I was told to take my car to another shop after asking for an estimate. I was told I was looking for a free bee (when most shops do not charge for an written estimate). They took my wheel off because the owners son said that was the only way they could give me an estimate on the wheel stud for a lug nut. Then after I was told that my estimate would be in writing on my receipt I was kick out of the shop for stopping them from working on my car. Then when I offered to pay the tech for pulling my wheel off (even though I only asked for an estimate) I was told We dont want your money and was threatened by the owners dotard of a son to call the cops on me for trying to pay for service I didnt even ask for. Again all I wanted was an estimate for a wheel stud for insurance purposes only.

Pulled up to get my low front differential topped off. Bald headed guy doesnt say anything as he walks by me. I say excuse me sir I need to get my diff topped off, is that something you can take care of and he says no. Then says they only fix leaks and do differential services, not top off fluids. What a shame.I wouldnt send my mom here or anyone else I know. Not friendly, and certainly not interested in taking care of potential customers.

Apparently if you go in to ASK a question you may get yelled at the parking lot by the owners son. My DISABLED and retired mother returned to make an inquiry after speaking to the owner previously about her vehicle with my preschool aged child and was summarily screamed at by his son. I fully support that the customer may not always be right but when the staff has to apologize for the behavior of said employee behind his back and this type of treatment is given to a client it is unacceptable. I am completely horrified that my mother was treated so poorly that her grandchild felt it was required to defend his grandmother. I would not send an animal here, this is beyond poor customer care.
I dont know where to start. I am still in shock while I am writing this.DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION PLEASE ! I wont be coming back to this location ever again. I have recently moved to the area and this oil change is next to my place.I found out they never replace the filters, and they did not fill the oil in during oil changes. I have been here the last 3 oil changes, and sure enough, my filter looks terrible and dirty like its not been replaced in a long time. Most mechanics are rude the cashier the old lady is very mean and rude as can be, and they claim to give you synthetic oil, they up charge you but dont actually give it to you, synthetic oil should last you longer why my car showing me that with in 2 month engine oil is low? I only drive from work to home less than 3 miles. Also they will cheat the date the put sticker on your car next service date is the same month unless you see it. So I saw the sticker and I called the older guy he is the owner his name is dean. He told me he is the owner and told me to leave the property. He was rude. They really messed up my car. I WOULD NOT recommend this location to anyone stay away!
Place is not fancy, but clean location and quality work. This is my 3rd oil change here and as usual they worked quickly and the guy inside, Charlie, was professional and even ensured the cabin air filter was checked.

This place is dishonest and a joke. I brought in my 2015 F150 for an oil change based on the computer, which I always do. First of all, I waited longer than I thought necessary and there were at least two bays that were open. Finally, the female owner told me that I havent changed my oil for 9000 miles and that it was so dirty, I needed an oil flush for$ 50.00. When I told her she was incorrect, as I took it there the last time and only put 3800 miles since. When I asked her about it, she said NOTHING. I told her to just change the oil. When I looked at the receipt, I saw that my mileage from my last visit listed about 3500 miles lower than the mileage when I bought the truck. When I brought this to her attention, she did not say a thing. That made me certain that it was done intentionally. Anybody can make a mistake but she did not say a word and did not correct it. DO NOT GO TO THIS KWIK KAR! I have been to several others and they were great, i.e. honest, friendly, and fast. They also would point out things like you are about 5000 miles away from the recommended air filter replacement but that is something that could wait.
Great place to get your car inspected
I highly recommend staying away from this place at all costs.I had my tires rotated and drove about a mile away at 30 MPH. Once I got on the highway going over 45 MPH, I noticed my steering wheel started to shake.
