I have nothing but great things to say! The girl at the front desk was so kind and friendly. We walked in and had the keys in our hands within minutes. The car was so great and clean and we ran into no issues. I would go out of my way to go to this specific business again.

Worked with this location twice and both times the staff was fantastic. No issues with their cars other than this last time we kept getting odd whiffs of smoke now and again.Otherwise place is always clean and business handled promptly. Appreciate them a lot for their help!

This is by far the worst location. I rented an SUV last year, they only had two to choose from and both of them needed an oil change. They said Id have to wait 3 hours to get it changed. Why did I even bother making an appointment? I took the car out and they hadnt changed the oil, I changed it myself and they still havent refunded me. Terrible people working here, lazy and incompetent. This location shouldnt even be in business, they have to share a lot with restaurants, cleaners and other businesses. Theres not even enough room to park their cars. Total joke. Corporate needs to know that this location is horrific. NOT RECOMMENDED. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION.

National is not so great at the Carmel and Indianapolis airport locations. Being a frequent renter (2-3 weeks each month) I am treated poorly at these locations - unlike any other location. Anywhere else, even in other countries, at National they are so much better with customer service, cars are much cleaner and the whole experience is much better, which I why I have stuck with National all these years - if I was just a local rental I would have ditched them a while ago.

As an Emerald Exec, I love the treatment from National and do not rent from anyone else. The negotiated rate I pay and then having almost unlimited upgrades. My latest rental was for a compact but I left with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.Heres where my issue comes in that ticks me off with the National program. I have to have a certain number of rentals per year to keep my status. Travel is limited this year so I will probably not make it to the same levels, but I just rented for 25 days. That 25 days only counts as 1 rental even though it was a $750 bill.

I believe when a consumer rents a Luxury reservation its great that its a high end brand. However, the high end brand that doesnt meet the interior size and comfort of Luxury rental but fits more with a Luxury midsize interior. I.e. BMW 300serious fits more of a midsize/full-size or same as a Jetta.....it seems to be a disappointment not just this location but as a seemingly instructional drive for National (Enterprise) . The location and staff is 5stars but the selection has been mediocre at best!

National Car Rental is my go to for rental vehicles. I would highly recommend. Their staff is always pleasant which makes the process run smoothly.

This was, by far, the best and easiest experience Ive ever had renting a car. Quick in and out in the rental office. Paperwork was clearly and concisely explained. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and cheerful at 7:30 in the morning. Car selection was terrific, and the car was clean on the outside AND inside and smelled clean, too. I would definitely recommend and would rent from this office again. Also, I left my car in their safe and well lit lot without any problems at all.

Unfortunately my experience was not as well as my previous experience at the other location. I had to locate my own vehicle and still had no success. The staff finally offered to get it for me. The car was not as clean as I thought it would be. I loved the car and its performance . I do appreciate the effort made by the company to rectify the situation. I will continue to rent from National, just not sure I will use that location.

The staff here are very friendly and customer service is good. My last rental was the easiest Ive ever had. Took about 5 minutes to pick up the car, which is not typical in my world. Usually, its PROCESS, but Allison made it so easy! And for a relatively minor fee, they provide EZPasses for travel on Chicago toll roads.

The company I work for uses National Car Rental exclusively. The Carmel office is our local location. Staff is always friendly & courteous. The vehicle was new and very low miles. If you have the need for a rental vehicle be sure to check out National Car Rental in Carmel. They will treat you right.

Terrible service at this location. Given a car with a bad tire to start. Had to change cars at another location. On return I left a garage opener controller in the car and despite calling them within 20 minutes they were completely unresponsive in providing any help recovering it. Not like they were particularly busy...

I easily reserved a car online for a business trip. The vehicle I received was new and was very comfortable to drive. I will definitely come back to National Car Rental!

Thought I would have to go to the airport to get a luxury rental but called the Carmel National Car Rental and they had three to pick from. Wonderful associates and worked with me when I needed to extend my rental period and return after hours. Highly recommend!

Fabulous service. Agent was more than helpful in assisting our four golfers load our vehicle for our long trip. Ford Expedition was beautiful and had every bell and whistle. Fantastic price was the best part.

Terrible rental experience. Im an Emerald Club Member to boot! Reserved & requested a full size car & arrived at rental location at time I selected. I wanted a full size car since I was traveling to Florida from Indiana & would have the car 9 days. The only vehicle available was a small SUV. What happened to my full size car...we just dont have anything else available...sorry. I took the SUV & was told to check at my destination for a swap out. I tried for 3 days in Florida to swap out the SUV & got nowhere. I was told there were no vehicles available for me. Hard to believe that in Orlando there was not 1 full size car available! I will not rent from National again. Going back to Hertz where my business is appreciated. Oh, by the way, I called National 3 times to explain my disappointment & no one has yet to call me back to discuss it.

Check in process to pick up our rental vehicle was super easy & quick. Rental drop off was a breeze. The overnight drop box is very convenient for after hours returns. We will definitely rent from this location again.

Unfortunately my experience was not as well as other customers and other locations. Car was reserved but not available when you went to pick up. You could only select expensive one. No shuttle service provided, you need to walk by or take taxi or ask friends to offer a ride. Really awful. I will not definitely go there again.

The location at 203 N LaSalle St, Chicago, IL 60601 could use a bigger sign showing where to bring the car to off of LaSalle.I picked up the rental from Indianapolis and dropped it off at 203 N LaSalle St. in Downtown Chicago. The Chicago location is next to the biggest L stop and is very congested. I had trouble finding where to bring the car.Other than that, great customer service.

This was my first experience with National! and from the online reservation up until I returned the vehicle, I had a great experience! They were professional, friendly, quick and inexpensive. I will be using them again!!

Car was dirty, had stains and spills. Had to clean it myself. I was also surprised that the agent did not even escort us to the car and note down the miles and inspect the car and have me sign the agreement.When we returned the car they tried to charge us more than the miles we had driven since there was no initial miles noted on the agreement paper. Overall not a great experience.The facility needs serious renovation and training.

Very helpful. Rarely have to wait and they have a nice selection of cars. Love that I dont have to go all the way to the airport to use National.

Always can find a cheaper rate on Travelocity. Emerald Club rewards program is worthless when free day cant be used due to the multitude of fine print and red tape. Customer service is poor and not worth my extra money to rent on the app when Im not valued. Dont waste your time calling it will only frustrate you more and they wont listen. Do business with a company that cares.

I use this location whenever I dont want to drive out to the airport. No emerald isle and even as an executive member you still have to book the the class you want or you could end up with a Ford Focus.

The associates are always very nice. Low mileage cars seem to be regularly available. Cars do tend to be a bit grimy i.e. crumbs in crevices, greasy windshields, etc.

I rent a car every month to visit my grandson. I like coming in and the staff knows who i am. They are always helpful and answer all my guestions.

Ive rented from this location multiple times now, and have always had an enjoyable experience. Im usually a 4-star rater, but they get the full 5 not only for great service, but treating customers like they matter.Their location is out of my way, and inconvenient for me to rent from when I could easily rent from enterprise which is much closer, and my reward points count the same. However, last time I rented from Enterprise, they put a large hold on my card (takes 3 days after returning the rental to come off), required 2 forms of ID (including a utility bill!?) and just made the whole experience a hassle. So much more, that I find it less of hassle to drive an extra 15 minutes each way to rent from National in Carmel.With National-Carmel, prices are competitive, Im never charged a hold, I dont have to bring my utility bill with me, the car is always ready and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even paying a $1-$2/day over Enterprise, it is worth it be to treated like a valued customer.

For me this location is much more convenient than going to the airport. I like that. The vehicles we rented were nice and in good condition. The other very convenient thing was the key drop box that allowed me to return the vehicles after hours.I was disappointed in the rental experience. I rented two SUVs with multiple drivers for the same pickup and drop off time. I called after reserving to let them know I wanted two Buicks and wanted to ensure they knew this was not a mistake. I actually needed two. I was assured that they knew it was not a mistake and that they would have two of the same vehicle. However, when I came to pickup, I was informed that the manager thought the two reservations was a mistake and he canceled one of the reservations and gave our second vehicle away. So we waited for 20 minutes while the resetup the reservation and gave us a subpar second vehicle - no discount or apology. Just a laugh about the flakeyness of the manager.

Always pick ups when I call or calls back as soon as they open. Great cars with lots of choices
