Poor communication and customer service from team. Did not have appropriate size car that was reserved by my insurance company.Stated that they would call me and exchange the car once the correct sized car was onsite. Never received a call back and had the car rental for 16 days.Charged my credit card without notification 4 days prior to my scheduled reservation ending. When I called to inquire about the early charge and lack of notification I was told that they had a change of policy but was never provided any evidence of this change of policy.

Have used Bobby for a couple of years now. Have horrible experiences a few times prior to meeting Bobby, and I can honestly say he has changed my outlook on this rental company 100%. I will never use anyone else for rental service. I would refer him and his location anytime any day. They will get you on the road and take care of everything for you. I would follow him to any location around our area!! This man exemplifies what customer service truly is and what it means to take care of a client. I hope one day he becomes a higher up manager and trains folks to be like him. I have seen this manager clean cars, move cars, sign paperwork, take calls, do it all. I have seen him in nasty car cleaning clothes up to nice managerial clothes. He truly wears all hats!! I hope to use him for many more years!!

We returned our rental car to this location.Upon returning our keys to the associate, no one inspected the car.The next day, we received a damages report regarding the vehicle we rented.There were no damages.We filled a report and informed the company that our rental was not inspected upon return and that no incident occurred during our trip. Nevertheless, Enterprise has proceeded with their attempt to make us pay for damages we are not responsible for.We will rent elsewhere from now on.

I was a faithful customer with enterprise for years and had never had any problems till last year, and this last use was it, I will always find a different company from here on out. I recently reserved a full size premium car and pick up was at 5 an hour before close, we were leaving that night for a funeral in Alabama which was a 10 hour drive. I called to let them know I was running a few minutes behind when I was told they did not have my reservation and only had a small Hyundai, that was a no go, while I called around other enterprises I tried to find something else and had no luck that late in the day. I called back to tell her I would have to take it, she said she had a pick up truck instead, when I got there it had a Hemi in it, like seriously I do not want to pay for gas on a trip to a funeral in that. I was left with no choice, I traded it in Alabama after the funeral but was not impressed with the service I received there either. I had rented a luxury car from another location a month prior and was displeased with a tiny BMW they gave me, which in description it was supoosed to be a cadillac or similar, a BMW doesnt even compare in size. Another location used a year ago we got a third row SUV to drive to South Florida, it was a Toyota 4 Runner and drove horrible through Mountains in Tennessee is bounced all over the road. Enterprise would only be used again if no other options super disappointed.

The staff at the Rangeline enterprise has been fantastic! Its such a busy office and as a regular weekly customer, the staff has often gone the extra mile for me - and it is not required - but they do it anyway. A special thanks to the manager, Bradley. He is so sweet and attentive and takes such good care of ALL of the customers. I have watched him go the extra mile for all the customers, not just me. I watch all of the staff go the extra mile.Thus, it is the norm of the office and not a rarity. Thanks Guys!

And I fake it to I make it with the illusion of telling my friends I traded in the minivan for a black in black Ford F-150 pickup truck lol. Ive rented from here twice recently and both times had good customer service. I had a billing issue which was promptly taken care of. However, the best customer service I had was not while I was renting. My truck was next door at the auto body shop and I needed something out of it, but couldnt get there before the shop closed. Sheridan was so nice to go next door and get it for me and keep it until I got off work. Thats excellent customer service!

Reserved a rental car for two weeks and was told that the price was $240. Fantastic. They even picked me up and drove me to their store. Double fantastic.Then they casually mentioned a $200 deposit they required, but never told me about, right as I was ready to pay. Not fantastic.I repeatedly checked the price with them over the phone before I went there. I was left stranded and had to pay for a ride home.The man who drove me there was left to do all of the apologizing. Nobody from management said a word to me. Their steady stream of customers let me know that they were far too busy to care that they just stranded someone 12 miles from home.I’m using another rental place. Very unprofessional. Nice driver, though.

When the body shop reported that they would need a couple of more days to procure additional parts, Enterprise was a pleasure to work with in extending my rental agreement. What used to seem like a ton of paperwork has been streamlined to a very efficient process for the renter and the company. Very pleased with my experience.

I have rented from many Enterprise locations and usually if not all the time I receive Exceptional service and leave satisfied . Occasionally I run into a person whose having a rough day and decides to take it out on me .This time I walk in and I have never felt so welcome . Joe was so awesome ! He took the time to make sure I was treated with respect and care . Joe is the kind of employee that keeps customers returning time and time again . The girls at this location where also extremely kind and I hate that I did not catch there name . Joe keep being amazing !! not everyone may notice but I sure did and I can only wish and hope for more people to act this way . I rented from this location while I was visiting family in Indianapolis. The service, as always, was excellent. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by an Enterprise representative and was assisted right away. The rep was very friendly and professional. The entire rental experience was quick and I was on my way just a few minutes later. I dropped off the car late Sunday using the key drop and the next day, I received a call from a rep at this location to confirm my charges and be sure I was satisfied with the service. Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I received and will rent from this location again next time I visit Indianapolis.

Spent the week of June 2 traveling for business. I take 10-12 trips each year, always remaining loyal to enterprise. Yesterday (June 6th), due to some unforeseen weather delays in my air travel, I ended up at Detroit Metro airport for a 7+ hour weather delay. Being from Indianapolis, I thought I could rent a car and make it home before ever stepping on an airplane in Detroit. I stood outside waiting for the enterprise rental bus to take us to the enterprise rental car lot. The driver asked me if I had a reservations. I did not. He then proceeded to tell me to NOT board the bus because enterprise was out of vehicles, and he did NOT want to have to bring me back to the airport.Thinking this was strange. Because the driver just dropped off four (4) patrons who were arriving at the airport from the enterprise rental lot. Did this patrons fly themselves to the enterprise rental lot? Or, did they just drop off their rental cars and are now heading back to their destinations?Anyhow, I got off the bus, and immediately called enterprise and was able to confirm that the Detroit airport location did in fact have available vehicles to rent. The minor slip of the tongue from the bus driver cost me about twenty-minutes in drive time back home on an already long fifteen (15) hour travel day.Next time, please advise the bus drivers to NOT advise the patrons on the number of vehicles enterprise does or does not have available on the rental car lot.I was able to get my rental car and drive home in 3 (1/2) hours.

Back in December 2017, we rented a vehicle for an out-of-town trip for the holidays. Extremely friendly staff. Had a car ready, started packing our things into the vehicle and almost had everything in when I got in and realized the car smelled like smoke. (Obviously, the previous renter didnt abide by the rules). Needless to say, I went back inside and explained the situation. They were extremely accommodating and brought me another vehicle. Offered to help us repack our things and off we went. Upon our return, I explained the situation we encountered during our pick-up and the very friendly gentleman checking me out was able to knock off a few $$ on the rate. Merry Christmas to us!!! We will be back, definitely!!!! Thats what makes a great company. Customer satisfaction!!!

I like the people and have had good rental experiences at this location. However on this occasion, I requested a Standard car and was given a full size 4X4 pickup truck. I was concerned about fuel economy, which turned out to be correct. The agent offered that I could return the truck empty. Im thinking that a full tank of fuel might offset some of the additional expenses. However, when I got in the truck, there was less than a quarter tank of fuel.So, I was saddled with an oversize, thirsty, rough riding vehicle for a 800 mile trip. When I request a standard size vehicle, Id like to get a standard size vehicle. Not a cement truck.

I had a lot of trouble getting a car. Full size supposed to be ready at noon. When I called for pick-up at eleven-thirty the car was not ready. An hour later it was not ready. Two hours later still no car. At three hours I was on hold for over twenty minutes before I hung up. Four hours later I was told there were no cars available, not that there were no full size cars available, but NO cars. I was told there was a full size truck, Dodge Ram, if I was interested. I had no choice at this point, needing to be on the road by noon and already four hours late. I knew MPG would be much lower, but agreed. Lauren, who appeared as frustrated with her day as I was with mine, was very apologetic and did a nice job trying to appease me with discounts and freebies. There was also a computer issue which delayed processing while I waited impatiently after she thought I was finally on my way. Upon returning the vehicle at the end of the week I was asked about satisfaction. I told my story and Kirsten gave a further discount. As far as Enterprise having vehicles available on this particular day they failed miserably. I was not the only customer dissatisfied that day based on what I saw and heard while at the branch. As far as customer service, the employees I dealt with were very pleasant and accommodating with what they had to work with. I admit I liked the Dodge Ram very much and was not charged the upgrade fee, as well I shouldnt have been, although gas mileage was an average 20 MPG, mostly highway. I will give Enterprise another opportunity to keep my business based on customer service, not product availability. It is possible it was an off day when many more people rented cars than the norm which would have depleted inventory.

Liked the car and customer service but think they need to ask more questions about the trip you will be taking. I drove from Indy to Miami Florida and while the vehicle I rented got okay gas mileage, the tank was small and required quite a few stops to fill up. Also, I traveled to a toll-by-plate destination and was not offered a toll program and will now be charged for each day I was in Miami in addition to paying for the tolls. Perhaps some sort of itinerary check would be good so that you can offer customers an appropriate vehicle and programs for their destination.

I had 2 problems with this Enterprise. One was when my wife was talking to the lady on the phone the day before we picked up the car. Our car was hit in a parking lot. Luckily the person left theyre info and theyre insurance company said that theyd pay for a rental that was equivalent to the size of the car damaged while my cars being repaired. But on the phone with the lady from Enterprise last night, she said that all equivalent means to them is that it has an engine??? I drive a large sedan and didnt want to be put in a lil bitty car. But upon arrival they did the free upgrade thing so it all worked out. I got a fairly nice, newer Impala.Now this one blew my mind. We went outside to do the check over on the rental I was getting ready to take and the Enterprise lady says i know the license plate shows expired (by 4 months on an out of state plate) but theyre not, we just dont have the new stickers. She acted like it was no big deal. Said if you get pulled over just have the cop call the 800 # and show him the managers business card. I said you know we are in Carmel right? I mean I thought she was screwing with me but she was not. She acted like she didnt even know a person could be pulled over and ticketed for not having the proper sticker on your plate. I mean thats just asking to be pulled over, especially in Hamilton county.Not the best customer service experience but the car and the return was smooth.

I called and made a reservation for Mon Oct 15-Fri Oct 19. I specifically spoke to someone because they wanted to put me in a compact car and I told them I was supposed to have an equivalent car to mine so she had upgraded it to an intermediate size car. I dropped my car at the body shop and they said they had my reservation but it was made for the wrong date. On top of that, they had no vehicles available and did nothing to try to remedy the situation. I had to call the insurance company and they called Hertz on my behalf. It is an extreme inconvenience to me as I have to wait for a vehicle to be driven to me and missed way more work than I had planned.This is unacceptable. People need rentals because they have no vehicle so it is critical that you be able to make the reservations correctly. I know I said Monday the 15th, so I know I asked for the correct date. I also found it frustrating that no alternatives were offered to me. Enterprise should have at least offered to have a vehicle brought over from one of their many other locations. Poor service.Update: Adding a generic reply to negative reviews does not reflect good customer service. Helping a customer that you have wronged who is standing in front of you in need of your help... thats good customer service.

I have always had a great experience with the representatives at this location; however, there is consistently a problem with cleanliness with their cars. I have brought up the issue many times to no avail. Instead of washing the cars, they apparently just rinse them off, and the hard water dries and leaves horrible spots especially on the windows/windshield and mirrors which affects the drivers vision. In last weeks rental, the problem was on the outside AND inside of the windshield ... it looked like someone had taken a soapy rag and washed the inside of the glass, and just left it to dry. I know this is a busy branch, but I think taking a few extra minutes to ensure the customer gets a nice, clean car would be a top priority.

UPDATED REVIEW - Carmel Enterprise manager, Brad, reached out to me via phone and email. I appreciate the concern and quick response. He was courteous, professional, and addressed my concerns. Back to 5 stars and well definitely return again to Enterprise for future rentals; thanks, Brad.***********************************************I usually have great service at this Enterprise location...it wasnt horrible this time, hence the 3 stars. But, the rate didnt match what I had in my confirmation (which, of course, was fixed but just took extra time). We had a 30 hour drive so I had books on CD for the trip but the rep said there was no CD player so we didnt bring the CDs (why would we?)...a quarter of the way through the trip, we realize there IS a CD player so that was a real bummer. At least say to me Im not positive, though, so you should check before you listen to me speaking falsely but with conviction so it sounds like Im giving you accurate information.And, we purchased Sirius which stopped working on day 2 so we had to call the customer service number to get that fixed. It was fixed, but just another Enterprise inconvenience. The phone rep said shed have someone call me about a credit for the inconvenience but that was also false as so far, theyre happy to just have me pay for it all so heres my review.

Rented a car from here after my vehicle broke down and I needed a rental in the middle of purchasing a new vehicle. It was a pleasure to deal with the staff.The car dealership I purchased from told me I could leave the rental with them, and they will return it to Enterprise for me the very next morning. The dealership did not my rental and I found out a week later. I contacted this Enterprise location and they were able to.reaolve the issue instantly and I was not charged for the time the dealership kept my rental car. It was great to deal with nice people at this Enterprise.

I was in an accident and my insurance was paying for a rental while my car was in the shop. I walked in with my reservation number and was in a car within 10 minutes. The staff was kind and made sure I had all questions answered. Dropping the car off was just as easy. I tossed em the keys, he did a walk around, and I was good to go.

This Carmel, IN office kept in touch with my insurance company when, time after time, my repairs were delayed and my rental period had to be extended. And they kept me informed that my rental would still be covered by the insurance. Kudos!

When renting a car I always focus on your location first. Your team goes above and beyond and finds a way to accommodate my rental car needs. Only challenge I have is the way you clean your cars, especially the inside of the windows. Every rental I must clean the inside of the windshield as it can be dangerous with all the film on it. The manager was very gracious and expressed he noticed this problem and wanted to change how the clean them.

I was picked up at a shop. Rained to a branch. Keegan was more than awesome. She didn’t have a full size suv and took me to another branch. All was well there they put me in a rental I drove half way home and noticed a small chip on the windshield. I took it back and they told me it should be safe I expressed I wasn’t comfortable with the crack cause we’d be going out of town then they put me in another vehicle. It had unremoveable paint on the vehicle. It was doable and suited our needs. I returned the vehicle on Monday and Wednesday i received a call from brad at the Carmel branch and he advised he spoke to my insurance company and the approved only to that Friday I made the mistake to tell him to bill my credit card which he did. I immediately contacted my carrier and the agreed on 8/15 to cover the extra days. On 8:17 I called the branch to verify they received the notice from carrier brad agreed and advised he’s working on it so I called on 8/27 only to find out it’s not processed something about accounting dead time. For 10 days? I’m concerned my refuyeont be processed

Its a car rental company and I dont expect or need much other than a car. I dont rent in the US much, but have dozens of times with Enterprise in Europe. Ive come to expect friendly service in Europe, but the Carmel location pleasantly surprised me. Both pickup and dropoff was efficient and easy while both reps were friendly, courteous and helpful. My only complaint is with Enterprise itself and not this location. By chance, I checked the price for a rental with *exactly* the same details at the Enterprise in Westfield (where we live) and this one in Carmel. Price in Westfield was 75% higher..Again, exactly the same request, with same company, and the locations were only about 5 miles a part. Odd. Regardless, the price in Carmel was fantastic and service was refreshing. Definitely kudos here.

Rather a different experience. I have never before had a dirty rental.There was grass all over the carpets. The windows for the center seat had doggie drool all over them. Behind the third seat there was also grass and dog hair on the carpet. In addition, the seats both front and center were dirty and stained. Next time, I will use a different rental location or company.

This Enterprise location (931 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN) in one word is simply the: BEST! Makenzi Prather, Asst. Branch Manager is ALWAYS friendly, helpful & responsive! She has always had the car ready to go when I have needed it. I have used other Enterprise (& other car rental establishments), but not a 1 comes close to this caliber of Customer Service! Not only Makenzi, but her entire time GET IT!!! They are amazing. If you havent rented a car from them yet, you really need to. You will know exactly what I am talking about! The staff at this Enterprise location are contagiously enthusiastic! It is car rental at its finest! The staff at this location could give courses on customer service for ANY business!!! I will only use this location & car rental....EVER!!

Reserved a car 5 days before pick-up. When I arrived they did not have type of car I requested; only smaller cars or a large vehicle with only 1/8th of gas in the tank. When I asked them to fill the large car up with gas I was told they lost their gas card. I am a platinum member of enterprise and when I lodged a call into corporate to complain about the service, I asked that the Area Manager call since both Enterprise locations seldom have the cars reserved available and/or there is no gas in the cars. These events have happened so many times in this area. I have never had any issues with Enterprise in the Greater New York area or Greater Boston area. As a result of the service and lack of concern for my issues, I have decided to use Hertz on a forward going basis

My rental car was impounded and this enterprise facility lost my tire that was in the car. The manager stated that the team probably threw it out because they thought it was theirs (What????) Then, the manager told me to call the impound place to see if they got rid of it. The impound place I called said that they do not touch what’s inside of vehicles that are towed. She was clueless and not very competent about the situation. She told me her boss will follow up with me, so let’s see if I get a call back.

I felt a very unwelcomed vibe from the lady at the counter when I went to pick up the car.Maybe it was a tiring day for her or something else, but I wouldve expected her to deal in a more polite and a professional way.I have used Enterprise for my rental needs in the past from a different location and my experience has always been very good. But my 2 experiences at the Carmel location has sadly been very bad.The car that I got looked in a bad shape. It wasnt clean at all.I picked up my car at 6:00 pm and asked the lady if I got late by 30-60 mins, will that be fine since I have to travel from Cincinnati to Carmel to drop the car. And she bluntly replied that you will be charged an additional day.Enterprise location on stop 12 rd in Indianapolis have allowed me this small flexibility always. Even if they couldnt they were extremely polite in their dealings.I may not return to enterprise for my future rental needs and advise my friends to do the same.

Had small hurdle to jump and thru me off at first(I have a out of state ID)and of that is the case you must have a major credit card, in which I have never had on my life... Luckily we have a good friend around the corner that put his on file for the car. I was rented a great car(my husband actually has the same car only a few years older, but is now going to upgrade to a new one like I rented, lol(Buick Lacrosse)... It was roomy for all 4 of us girls to drive to Nashville, for a friend Bachlorette party. Over all, great car, great people at enterprise!! We will def be back!!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I would be wise not to rent again from this location. My most recent experience with this business was not as it should have been. First agent I spoke to was a trainee and acted as such. The two cars I was shown were both either/or dirty and in disrepair. Simply put, this is not how Enterprise should be. If I need another rental car from any company out there, I will have to get a guarantee that the car I get is CLEAN.
