Tom Pea is a nice guy, no doubt about that. After my car accident, which was not my fault, but the driver at fault had no car insurance or drivers license, I was left to face the ruthless adjusters who took their sweet time to tell me they were thinking about denying my claim. They did everything they could to not pay me. Only after hiring a lawyer did they immediately agree they will pay. Why did I have to hire a lawyer with money I do not have for my insurance company to practice good faith and take care of me? Shelter is far from a shelter, definitely not a shield. They have caused me financial ruin because they acted like bystanders after my accident.
