Good place. Easy walk to the beach. Nice room. Everything you want is just a few minutes walk away. Needs the added touch of basic items (foil, seasoning, oil, coffee, etc). Our room was recently remodeled which looked good. For 5 stars though they need to decorate with items that don’t rust. :).

Cute little beach front hotel. Quiet, and laid back, a perfect get away from busy life. Sleeping with the sound of waves is so peaceful. Room had everything. If you get a room on the bottom floor, you can literally walk from your bed to the water in 30 seconds. If you are from out of state, I def recommend this spot. Not many places in So Cal have that much beach almost all to yourself.

We had a wonderful time, right on beach. Will definitely be going back. Staff was exceptional.

We are inland California, but have never stayed overnight on the ocean. This rental is literally on the ocean and you can’t get any closer. Waking up to the ocean (and the beautiful sounding seagulls) nearly at your door step is unmatched. And the sun sets were the most beautiful and clear we’ve seen. The manager, Lisa,was staying on-site our weekend and greeted us with such enthusiasm and was so sweet to our toddler. We believe the owner was onsite too and he was very pleasant as well. Very dog friendly and kid friendly first floor. We highly recommend this property and will be back quarterly!

This place is great! Definitely ideal to stay but comes at a price and must book faaar in advance (months).

I am a local and this is my favorite place to Staycation! It’s beautiful, clean and very private. Ed and his staff are amazing! I love the kitchens, balconies and all the toys for the beach provided! All I need to do is show up and the rest is taken care of. Anything I need is a short walk away in the village. I will return time and time again!!!

I have some family that have been staying here probably close to 30 years every summer vacation. Its always well kept up and nicely run.

Beautifully decorated units right on the beach! Everything we needed was provided (beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards). Its in walking distance to downtown Carlsbad, yet its quiet and peaceful... I loved that it had an indoor area and an outdoor deck for all guests located on the 1st floor, so even if you arent staying on the first floor, you can sit on the deck right next to the sand - and you can step down from the deck to the sand, its that close to the beach. We had a GREAT stay! I already miss the beautiful ocean view.

We took our family of 8 and stayed in their 3 bedroom unit October 2017. It was absolutely amazing. Plenty of room for all of us. It is a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit with full kitchen, living room and fireplace. We did not want to leave. It was awesome to leave the door open and listen to the waves all night. Staying right on the sand is the best thing ever. We would do it again in a heartbeat. We love this place.

Where do I start!I had the most wonderful, respite at Seashore on the Sand. Ed and Laura were, off the hook, as far as accomodating all my needs. I found them both to be so kind and warm. Just what I needed. It was my birthday and Laura brought me a birthday cake, a BIG, delicious cake. I felt so comfortable and at ease because of my beautiful surroundings. Seashore by the Sand is literally on the sand. It doesnt get any better than this.I loved everything about my room. The view from the balcony and the room was postcard perfect.I spent 5 fabulous days and I cannot wait to go back.Thank you Ed and Laura!!!

Weve been coming here for many years and always enjoy our stay. All rooms are on the beach, all you have to do is go down the stairs and you are standing on the beach. The apartments are comfortable and they all have balconies over the beach. Unless its winter, we leave the doors and windows open 24/7 to enjoy the sound of the waves. You really dont want to leave your unit, but if you do, you can find most of what you need in Carlsbad Village, without needing to drive. Units dont have air conditioning, but they do have central heating and fireplaces.

Every room faces the ocean and located right on the sand. I mean right on the sand. What a view!!! Staff are very nice, rooms are beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. Carlsbad has beautiful beaches. Highly recommend staying at Seashore on the Sand.

Very happy with our stay. The owner was available if we needed anythingrecommendation for dinner etc. TheCondo was very clean had everything we needed in it Beautiful updatedAppliances excluding washer and dryer comfortable beds and linens the view from the balcony was awesome.Carlsbad is welcoming little townA garage was offered if needed it was great to walkout right on the sand it was quite relaxing and 2 short blocks to restaurants and shops I plan to go. Back very soon

LOVE it here. Perfect Sandy Beach location. Very nice unit, clean, modern and very comfortable. Enjoyed the sound of the surf inside the unit and on our patio. The Owner is very friendly. We plan on making this one of our regular places to visit - a home away from home.

Very relaxing place!!

This is a relatively small group of apartments to rent (vacation rentals), all in one four-story building right on the beach in the charming southern California beach town of Carlsbad in northern San Diego county. (Camp Pendleton Marine base is just a few miles further north.) Dogs are allowed in most of the units -- a rare characteristic in this part of the county.The phrase right on the beach should be taken literally. You go downstairs to the ground floor, step out onto a patio, turn left for about 3 yards, open a low gate, go down 4 steps and you are on the beach. The management provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and childrens plastic beach toys at no charge to residents.All units face the ocean and have large plate glass windows and a balcony from which to view and hear the waves.Depending on the time of year, parking can be difficult to find. For a fee, the buildings 5 parking spaces can be rented by renters during their stay but there are not enough spaces for all units to have one assigned to them. Street parking is the only option for about half of the renters. We had no trouble finding street parking in the last week of August but it is scarce during the summer when schools are closed and families come to Carlsbad for vacation.Each unit has a nicely equipped kitchen and then one, two, or three bedrooms, one to three bathrooms, a dining/living room, and living room furniture. The one bedroom units have a fold-out bed in the couch and it is very comfortable, unlike most such couches!The location cannot be beat, the managers/hosts are very accommodating and strive to make your stay comfortable and convenient. They informed us that all units are going to be completely refurbished in December 2018 and will then be even more comfortable and convenient.The units are fairly pricey but not any more so than other comparable properties in this highly desirable community. If you can afford it, reserve your unit now for your next vacation. You wont regret it.

Most awesome place I have stayed. I have stayed here for 5 months of the year for two years in a row. Why? Because the weather is good, you are walking distance to all facilities, food, shop and transportation system. You are living right on the beach. Every night you have the most beautiful sunsets. You dont have to bring anything as all amenities are supplied, right down to buggie boards, sand pales and shovels. It has been completely remodelled with the best of appliances and beds. Anything you need, just ask and they will accommodate you. Lisa and Ed who accomodate you go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. This is an excellent place to stay for any length of time and you dont have to bring anything except yourselves. Its very self contained with the most modern appliances in their suites.. I loved it there and didnt want to leave. You cant live any closer to the ocean unless you live on the ocean. Thankyou Ed and Lisa, and Prudence. Many Blessings. Oh Dickens, my little minature dachund dog also thanks you! We had a blast. Thankyou again. Would recommend this place with a full five stars or more if it was offered.

Best place to stay! You are on the beach and get the full experience from the balcony. You really dont need to leave your condo if you dont want to.
