I love Sports Clips and the vibe theyre after. Just be careful and you realize what youre getting yourself into.Its a phenomenal experience for mens haircuts and both genders while your little ones are still adolescents. They always did a great one length for my daughter and a great job on a short, business fade for me. I used to go to the Encinitas store and only saw 1 of 2 gals who cut my hair over a 8 yr period. These ladies eventually left and one opened up her own barber shop/ Salon, while the other works and manages it for the other. Naturally being the extremely loyal client that I am, I followed and have been there since.I was in a pinch and needed a haircut, now and they had me in a chair 10min later. My hair is extremely thin and multiple cowlicks if its cut too short. But pretty easy to cut if your used to doing mens cuts. The young lady was very sweet and a blast to talk with. She was however still learning and thankfully the owner or manager was there and came over a couple times to show her how to do scissors over comb to blend and make it look even and sharp. Also how to do a proper neck line and how to fade 2, 3, 4 and basically sharpen up the whole haircut.So I am totally OK with people learning as its literally part of the job and what you come to expect with a $20 haircut.If you find someone thats good then stick with them and you will have a 5 star experience every time you go in the shop.

I don’t have a good experience at this place just my son receive his haircut and once his hair was dry it was a mess the haircut, I don’t remember the lady name but I almost sure it was Julia, she has blonde hair, my Husband make his hair there with another lady Roxy or Jackie too and he have a great service, he told me they are excellent, the day I took my son there these two girls wasn’t available so I pick the option first available and the two names were Julia and Jackie so she cut his hair and looks okey but she was making mistakes even she ask the other girl for help cutting my sons hair in the back, then she finish, I ask for use the number 3 in the back and 3 on top and she did but she didn’t make a soft transition between, my son have some hair longer on top and immediately a so shorty hair in the back and even he have shorter his right side of his head on the top and looks like he just cut his hair by himself, even they are not a cheap place.

Zoe is great. Very friendly, professional, and personable. The shop is very clean and has a great “vibe” to it. All of the employees seem to be enjoying their work. The entire experience was also easy and quick.

First time customer. Nervous to take my son in when salons/barbershops reopened. Sport Clips offered timely appointments and cleaned areas prior to a new customers cut. Stylist asked many questions about style and ensured happiness with final result. Very happy overall from start to finish!

Both my boys got great haircuts and they arent ready to cut at 3 & 5. There was a hiccup with out check in not getting registered but they took care of it without an issue

Great customer service, however I was charged for the mvp experience, without asking for it. I had asked for just a normal haircut, and they gave me the whole mvp. It wasn’t too big of a deal, but next time I’d like to be charged only for the haircut.

We just wanted a nice short haircut for summer and told Brandon to use his judgement. My son was so happy with his haircut. This place is great! Ive been a Sport Clips customer for a while at other locations and this one is close to my house. So it is great not have to drive a distance for a good haircut. It is friendly, clean and my haircuts there are always great. I usually do not write reviews but after seeing some negative comments I had to speak up so people in the area know that this is a quality place and a great addition to the neighborhood. Go check it out and ask for an MVP service. Hot towel treatment after a days work is just perfect.

Made an account and checked in online since I was in a hurry, got there 2 min before my time and 30 min later still no chair. They bumped me for 2 walk ins despite my appointment. Their check in system means absolutely nothing as I could have walked in (without registering an online account) and got the same wait. Walked out with long hair and disappointment.

Ive rarely commented on barbershops but this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I went here once several weeks ago. I hope there were no managerial people there when I was present. As a manager myself every single barber in there would be out of a job. 1) my barber commented about why I even needed a haircut after she knew I was military. Thanks, we enjoy paying to get our haircut every week too. Appreciate the reminder. 2) thank you for commenting about how awful my hair was too your fellow barbers with customers present. Really enjoyed that.This place is a disgrace. I will be spreading this word out to all military personnel in the area. The fact they were so open about and not one person opened their mouths means this is accepted amongst their leaders and work space. Absolutely unacceptable.

I come from the 70s when you got your hair styled not cut LOL! while I dont have as much hair as back then, I still like my hair cut with scissors vs an electric buzz shaver.well I found what I was looking for at this sport clips! and dont be fooled not all sport clips are the same!

I love getting my hair cut a SportClips. The MVP is great and I got a free upgrade my first time there. The stylists have notes so they remember how I got my haircut, that way it doesnt matter if my favorite one isnt there.

They are super friendly but they just don’t have the skills to cut all types of hair. I can’t stand to walk you through a cut and you still don’t get it rite. Other then that it was a great experience.

I was in need of a line up and beard trim. So on my lunch break i walked over from thai one on, because sport clips was in walking distance. Miriam assisted me. I was pleased, so i will be coming back in the near future.

Got a haircut from a woman there today that was clearly new to this sports clips. She was nice, but I felt like the haircut quality would be questionable. After showering, it was obvious that there was a lot of spots with mismatching lengths from side to side. I’d come back, but I’d be sure to ask for someone else.

Friendly, talented and mature stylists and management now! Sorry I wrote that last review! Youve redeemed yourselves!DISREGARD THIS: I feel bad giving an unfavorable review, but Ive honestly never had a worse experience getting a haircut. So, I feel its necessary and for the good of future customers and the owner of the facility to be aware of my experience. This was my first time at this new Sport Clips location, and after asking for the same type of haircut Ive asked for from different barber shops for years (including other Sports Clips locations), at this facility, I was met with a combative criticism to what is usually met with a simple, agreeable understanding. The stylist was more focused on twisting the words of my description, exaggerating them, then ridiculing and acting dumbfounded and confused by it, rather than politely asking questions for clarity. Juvenile and blatently demeaning looks, sighs of annoyance, and lots of unpleasant and uncharming attitude from her, and the other stylists chimed in with the same. After one too many eyerolls from the group, I expressed my displeasure with the treatment, and the attitudes got better, but unfortunately not the haircut. Im sorry for having to post this, but at some point people need to understand that theyre not entitled to get a good review because they look hip and edgy when they work. I suggest focusing on pleasant human interaction and treatment, and a decent haircut that is close to what the customer is asking for.The location is so close to my home, that I may try it again at some point, but if the same work staff is there, Ill be walking right out again. The only reason I didnt give a 1 star review is that I personally feel that 1 star reviews should be reserved for only when someone is permanently injured from a service or experience. Since I didnt end up in the hospital, they get 2 stars. Im sure that after this posting, the next time I might not be so lucky. DISREGARD THIS NOW!
