Scott and Shelley are kind-hearted, honest and WONDERFUL people. They helped out a family of four from MI who were taken advantage of by a horrific vacation experience. They quickly offered to step in and find us a house for a few days when a prior house fell through.Clearly this business reflects the selfless and caring needs of these two business owners. If they are this caring of complete strangers, I can only imagine how honest and terrific they are with their customers. Thanks again!
We had this company for several years at our Florida home, about 14 years actually. They did a great job taking care of the pool, but unfortunately there were at least three times when our water bill was over $600. We found out that our hose to the pool was running constantly after Southwest left. The timer was defective because I found it leaking when I arrived with my grandpa last June.They also told us that there was a leak in our vanishing edge basin, so they shut it off from 2013-2017. Overtime, the basin turned green, which was not appealing. The company was convinced that the basin was leaking, so I trusted their judgement. Unfortunately, when we finally had the issue addressed, we found that the spa had a leak, so there was no reason for the trough basin to be turned off.We fired Southwest last year, but they continued billing us. I specifically told the young man in May that this was the last month we wanted them to take care of our pool. When we arrived in June, we saw that Southwest was still sending maintenance people, and we had to tell the guy to leave. It was not his fault, but the owner of this company needs to know how disappointed we were with the continuous bills we received after June, charging us for service they never performed in July, August, and September.
Excellent service! New owners installed a new Jandy filter cartridge after my old one broke unexpectedly.They came out quickly so as not to have my pool be out of service for too long.

I have been a customer since the previous owner. Our home is on the market so we turned off the water to make some repairs and avoid any water damage. Stephen arrived to do our pool service and felt the pool needed water. Instead of calling me he turned the water on to the house and left. ( understand the main valve to the home was purposely shut off) The water ran for a total of 37000 gallons. I was notified by the city and billed over $700.00 I understand accidents happen so I went to the city and applied for a pool fill credit, and backed out a normal water bill. Then approached the owner to pay for his employees mistake. After many attempts he flat refused because he feels I had a defective water timer on the hose bib. It has been tested many times and works correctly. But even if it had been defective his employee should never have turned on the water to a vacant home. After asking for his final answer on payment I told him I will be telling everyone I can about his business practices, he then threaten me with “ Hopefully it won’t come back to you” I strongly recommended everyone to stay away from this company.
Southwest Pool Supply has been cleaning our new pool for a few short weeks and we canceled our service after todays visit. They were referred to us by a friend but they sure did under-perform for us. Our concerns... dirty tile above the water line and too much sand and residue left in the pool. We also found that in 3 of the last 4 weeks whatever they did to service our pool tripped the breaker to our pool pump and we had to reset it each time, including today. It became clear that these guys were doing something wrong.They showed up weekly and had a schedule they followed for cleaning and maintaining our pool, including vacuuming. Our main issue is a hazy residue on our glass pool tiles. We didnt have the problem before they started but it progressively got worse after a few weeks. They serviced our pool this morning and noted on their ticket that they brushed the tile. After they left we took a clean paper towel and wiped the tile right at the front of the pool. As you can see in the photo it was nearly black from the gunk stuck to our tiles. Not exactly what we were looking for in a $95 per week cleaning service!For the record, we met with management last week asking them to review the problem and coach their service rep to make some improvements. After calling them today I believe they are relieved that we fired them. They were cordial enough but claimed that wed have the same problem with anyone we hired.I sure hope to prove them wrong!
This is a great company to have working for you, they can handle all your pool needs from chemicals to heat systems. The owners are available and responsive to your needs, you can tell that your satisfaction is important to them. They also offer home watch services that are very reasonable . If a quote for service doesnt seem right to them, they will get another to make sure your getting the best deal possible. If you need a great pool service company or some one to help with taking care of your home, look no further.
Very helpful. They get you in and out and explain everything that needs to be added to the pool and why. Weve been using them for years and will continue to. Happy to support a local, privately owned small business as well.
Ive been going there for 11yrs. The owner and the staff are great. Give advise and tips if youre having a problem. Ownership has changed about a month and a half ago and the new owners are great also. Ill keep going back and have them fix anything I cant tackle.
I have used Southwest Pool Supply for the maintenance of my pool for over 11 years and the owner, Terry is someone you can trust. He wont try and sell you something you dont need and doesnt jack up the prices on his product. Hes a great small businessman. Much better than the big impersonal chains.Not sure what the other reviewer meant by rude and not very enlightening but all the folks at Southwest Pool Supply have been nothing but super to me and my wife for as I said, the past 11 years.I highly recommend them.
Update: this review was for the former owner, not for the current one...!Very nice people and excellent service. I use them for almost ten years already, to get all my pool supplies. Never had a problem. Very affordable and highly recommended.
The two young gentleman were totally overwhelmed by the customer rush this morning but they did their best.One of the young men took my Chlorinre container to refill it, and brought it back to me empty !
Weve been using them since moving down here 13 years ago. Very rarely had a problem with them.
