We highly recommend Contemporary Pools. We interviewed 7 pool companies before finally deciding on Contemporary and we are so glad that we did. They did a great job, gave us a competitive price and all of the workers were very professional. The price estimate also included everything. Some of our other proposals had a lower price but there were many price extras such as dirt removal, filter upgrade and electrical service. Thomas made the design process very easy. He listened to what we wanted, made changes that we requested or told us when they would be impractical and we had a proposal and an animated video of what the pool would look like in a day. The pool turned out exactly like the video and we have had many compliments on it. The company is also very responsive to any minor issues that may arise and respond appropriately. We were so impressed with Contemporary that we use them for our pool service as well. Most of the people who construct their pools are employees of Contemporary so there is accountability while many of the other companies that we interviewed sub contract out all of the work. The sub contractors that were used on our pool were top notch like Southern Aluminum who did the pool cage. Overall this is one of the best companies that we have done business with since we moved to Florida

This was one of the worst companies I have ever used.The standard of workmanship and customer service was appalling.The concreting of the patio around the pool was so poor I had to pay the tiler an extra $5,000.00 to correct it before he could tile, I could have floated the concrete off much better myself than their people did.The final finish on the pool and spa was terrible, they did agree to drain the spa and take the finish off and redo it, but they said the pool was acceptable and only after I called in an independent witness and said I was prepared to go to court did they come back and drain the pool and do some rectifications.Also the pool cage was not good one door fitted incorrectly the gutter not fitted to the soffit in one place causing rain water to pour onto the patio and the anchor bolts drilled incorrectly.Contemporary showed no interest in this and it was only when I was able to communicate directly to the cage company did I get this put right.

This company is TOP-NOTCH in every way. My experience was exceptional from start to finish! When obtaining the proposal, Tom and Brian listened to my needs and provided a fair cost estimate. When finally making the decision to use Contemporary Pools to do my pool repairs it was their integrity, knowledge, professionalism, along with the price that clinched the deal. Communication throughout the entire process was first-rate. My pool had cracks, the water was uneven, and it needed to be resurfaced but they were able to complete the extensive repair work and bring my pool back to new life, I am extremely happy how beautiful it looks! The other thing I was amazed at was how clean they kept their worksite. The entire staff, and all the men who did the repair work, were absolutely tremendous to work with. I highly recommended this pool company for pool repair work, you surely will not be disappointed, they provide OUTSTANDING service all around!

We are very pleased with our new pool !!! In particular we are extremely satisfied with the service and assistance we received from our sales person, Brett McKibben. Brett helped take much of the stress from taxing decisions on the designs and layout of our pool. Over a year before our pool was installed Brett help us make the decision on what lot to purchase for our new home by producing site plans of our house with pool on the lots we were considering. Bretts excellent service and advise continued throughout the final design and construction. Bretts advise and service, from design and layout, to color and tile selections, to service after the sale were instrumental in the end result of a perfect pool and spa combination with which we are extremely satisfied.Although the construction process was longer then we had anticipated, we found Contemporarys staff and all the sub-contractors to be professional, efficient, courteous, and considerate. And, the project was completed before the projected finish date.

We began our search for a pool company in March 2020. After receiving multiple quotes & talking to neighbors who have had pools installed in our development we chose Contemporary Pools. We knew what we wanted, a basic rectangular pool with a sun shelf we could set 2 chairs on & a bench across the entire deep end we could sit on. We really appreciated our salesman, Brett McKibbin, who listened to what we wanted & didnt try to pressure us into things we didnt want. He did offer the suggestion of a bubbler & umbrella hole in the sunshelf, which we love & are glad we went with. Building a pool is a messy, labor intensive, multi-step process that takes time. Each phase brings a new crew of people to complete their tasks. We were so pleased with all of the workers that were present on site & how nice, respectful & conscientious of their work & cleanup they were. They did our initial dig on July 29 & we had our first swim on October 20. Even with all of the slow downs due to the pandemic & the overwhelming increase in people building pools we were done on schedule & we love our pool. We have had many people stop & ask how things went, if were happy & if we would recommend Contemporary Pools. We emphatically tell them yes we are very pleased, would use them again & would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a pool. Call Contemporary & ask for Brett, youll be glad you did!

Our experience with Contemporary, for our remodeling, was exemplary.. from our initial consultation to completion. Pricing was competitive, work was done beautifully and timely. We encountered a couple of minor “glitches” and they were able to work through them with ease. Would highly recommend!

I contracted with Contemporary Pools in April to resurface my pool because Steve said that they could have our pool finished in two weeks. They gave me every excuse in the world for not coming including, that they drained the wrong pool. Thomas took over after Steve left the company and was rude enough to say, I really dont need to do your pool, so I will return your deposit if you want. I took him up on it after several months of no one showing up. My pool was finished one week later by another company.

Five star service before, during and after! From a pool that was worse than awful, to amazing! When we bought our house, the pool was opaque army green and the entire area was a disaster. The team at Contemporary Pools totally renovated the pool and pool deck, removed the hot tub, added an extension to the pool deck, and installed pavers all the way to the dock and on the front porch. We could not be more pleased with the finished product, or the service since it the project was completed. Their maintenance department provides us with the same level of service - arriving on schedule, does the work they are supposed to, and even alerts us when they see other issues on the property...saving us thousands of dollars in repairs unrelated to our pool!

Contemporary Pools built my pool. My house is in the Fort Myers historic district so we spent a lot of time getting the design right and they were very patient with us. Mike the service manager was great answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend them.

Thomas and his team at Contemporary executed the remodel of our pool flawlessly. We have an older pool (1982) and the re-plumbed the returns and removed an old useless valet system. The old tile was removed, an in-pool cocktail table was added and the stucco was completely redone.His technicians also installed new lighting, new heat pump and new controls that are accessed from my phone. All work was done as scheduled and his team was professional, courteous and friendly.Additionally, shortly after Hurricane Irma hit, we had a crack of about 4 feet appear as a result of erosion from the heavy rains. Thomas referred me to an expert crack repair service and coordinated the resurfacing by his team after the crack was repaired. You cannot tell it was ever there!I would highly recommend Contemporary Pool Service to anyone for remodel or installation of a new pool. They are simply the best!

Every question or concern had was dealt with immediately. I didnt have to wait a day for a response and/or resolution. Our pool turned out better than expected. It is absolutely beautiful. Brett gave us a 3-d representation of how our pool would look when completed. It was so helpful to envision the end result. Brett helped us pick the best colour combination for our pool. Contemporary Pools worked with the shutter company we were having a hurricane shutter installed with. This was the first pool we ever owned. Contemporary was great to work with and provided excellent advice and guidance on our pool design. They told us installation would take 90 days at the most, and despite periods of heavy rain and flooding, we were swimming within that timeframe. Great company to work with and would highly recommend them.

Disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Contacted CP in mid April 2021 for an estimate and was informed that the sales crew would call back. Called a a week later and finally had Brett call back who mentioned an attempt to call back, but was unable to connect, could be. We scheduled an appointment out 4 weeks since they are, very busy. We delayed our return home by several weeks in order to make the appointment. Two day prior to the appointment Brett calls to say that they are too busy to service our area in Fort Myers and are only accepting work in Cape Coral. #KARMA

Contemporary Pools was amazing to work with! We found out about them from our realtor, Patrick Huston. While we were house shopping, we explained that we would like to build a pool. Patrick recommended Thomas Jackson. After speaking with him, he said once we picked a house he would come out and look at it before we put in an offer so that we could be sure the yard would fit the pool that we wanted. He made himself available immediately when we found the perfect home. Thomas was terrific to work with! He answered my (many) questions before the process started and always answered my phone calls during the process. He explained very well the timeline and detail so we knew exactly what to expect. We began our pool process right after Hurricane Irma, so there was some trouble getting the screen up, as screens were in high demand. Thomas knew we had guests coming from out of town and he made absolutely sure our pool was ready to go in time for them to get here! I know that was not easy for him, but we really appreciated how hard he worked on our behalf. Our front yard remained mostly intact as well during the building process, which was very nice, as we were expecting it to be all torn up. It was fun watching the progress of the pool and even better getting to use it and the lanai area! Now that its finished, I cant remember the last time we sat in our living room. If you are looking for a pool company, I highly recommend Contemporary Pools and Thomas Jackson.

I went to the business office and talked to them about installing spool in my courtyard. They said that they would have someone call me. Two weeks later I called them again. They took my information again and Im still waiting for some one to call me. This has been two months now. If they dont want to do the job, at least have the decency to let me know. As of now I dont trust them. Not a good way to run a business.

I sent a Fb msg in to inquire about a quote. I was asked to provide my email address for further communication. I did, and waited a day. I then sent another message. I was then instructed to call. I called twice...once no answer. second time someone picked up and hung up. I then msgd them again on FB and the response I received was Dont know what to tell you I have 3 lines with 2 admin. Weve been taking phone calls all day?All this just to get a quote. Horrible customer service.

We hired Contemporary pools to build our pool and we are pretty satisfied with it. I had originally had Brett come out at our old house to give an estimate and we never went through with it. We ended up selling that house and I called Brett once again and he came in with a very competitive and fair price. I feel as if this company was the best bang for our buck, the pool turned out great and the kids really enjoy it! We had Brett as our sales guy and he was pretty informative throughout the design process. He design a 3D video for us to see what the pool would actually look like rather than just a small drawing and it really helped see our vision come to life! If theres one area I wish could be improved, it would be the communication during the construction process. I kept asking for information as far as scheduling and I never knew anything was happening until I got home and saw it was done. If there was someone in charge of construction whose job included speaking with the customers throughout the process, I think that would greatly help the customer feel more at ease. Other than that I am extremely satisfied and the pool looks amazing!

Contemporary Pools did such an amazing job, with our tropical oasis. It is paradise. I had the most fun designing the pool with Thomas. From start to finish Brian(the construction super) was professional, honest, caring, and took care of all of our needs instantly! A swimming pool is the largest purchase besides the house itself. We find ourselves spending more time outside than in.

Brett, our sales professional, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He patiently explained the process, answered every question, happily made several design changes and uploaded 3-D videos each time, accommodated our special spa stone request and called and stopped by numerous times throughout the build process to check in with us and our level of satisfaction. Start to finish, our experience was great with Contemporary. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Quality workmanship better than expected. Any issues (normal part of building anything) that arose were resolved quickly. I have already recommended Contemporary to several friends and clients.

I had contemporary pools resurface my pool and repair my tile. First, I could not be more please with their staff. They were courteous and on time. They always cleaned and picked up after themselves. My pool is more beautiful today than the day it was put in. I am so proud and pleased with this company I would recommend them to anyone.

Our sales rep Brett took great care of us and was patient with us as we were trying to come up with a design that best suited our needs. Thomas and his guys did an awesome job refinishing our pool. They were in and out in 3 days, the pool looks brand new, and they were more reasonably priced than many of the companies we called. Not to mention they installed a new pump and timer, and came back to make sure the pool is on track for cleaning during this start-up phase. We will definitely be using them for future needs with our pool.

After getting several quotes from different companies we chose Contemporary Pools to build our pool. Our salesman was Brett Mckibbin and we could not have asked for better service. Never will I recommend this company to anyone who asks, very disappointed with the lies, disrespect, rudeness, lack of communication and not fulfilling the contract. They are nice to you in the beginning once they have you signed up and have your money EVERYTHING from there goes downhill (Like a car salesman) tell you what you want to hear to earn your business. Shame when a call a company to speak to the owner (Randy) they push you off to someone else. Everyone has an opinion mine is save yourself the headache and agony.Mr. Jackson in reference to your response... sounds like you have no clue of what we went through with your people, obviously youve been so misinformed. And no we werent offered 5 additional loads at no charge, I was told by Randy its $225.00 per load ×4 to finish the job and its cheaper for us to go with someone else to get it done and thats what we did. Also we werent asking to have it leveled as the pool deck, again lack of communication. Yes your not a grading company but you agreed to do it and its in our contract.

If you want a pool done with creativity and professionalism, Contemporary Pools is your builder. We just completed a pool with them. Actually, its our entire backyard. From an empty yard of icky grass completely useless to our family to this amazing outside extension to our home our experience was terrific. Not only did this company build exactly what we wanted but they did it exactly how they promised. We would never recommend another pool company.

After doing some research we chose Contemporary Pools.We had a difficult area to work with, trees and otherchanges needed to be done including moving thecable.Come the big dig the owner of the company drovethe equipment himself, the area called for carefulexcavation. They built my pool in the timeframe they promised (actually it went up sooner than expected). It looks so beautiful that we started a new trend in my neighborhood and now everyone wants a contemporary pool. The neighbors are in awe of how quickly the pool went up and how absolutely beautiful it is. We also got the 20/20 screen enclosure and it keeps out even the smallest of bugs. I highly recommend this company!

My husband and I recently had a pool installed at our home in Cape Coral by Contemporary Pools and we could not be more thrilled with the finished product. Dan Bakes made the process very easy - he handled every detail as if it were his own home. We were not able to be on site during the construction, so he e-mailed us updates including photos, made sure that we knew exactly what was going on. He even arranged to have the paver installers make some other repairs for us. From start to finish, it was seamless. We highly recommend them.

The pool came out great! The staff did a great job and Thomas was very quick to answers questions and return phone calls. After the pool was completed, there was an issue with the spa spill-over and Brian came over and fixed the problem within a week. He had to cut the travertine on the edge at an angle and it did the charm! Thanks to Contemporary Pools for the great pool!

Contemporary Pools did a fantastic job in transforming our backyard into a resort style getaway. Bretts assistance during the sales and design phase was on target. During the construction there were some minor issues; however, these were corrected within a day and beyond my expectations. My only complaint was the time it took for the screen company to come out and put up the cage. When they finally arrived, they worked long hours and ended up doing a stellar job - we have a tricky roof line that they made look like it was original to the house. In the end, they helped me to understand and operate the new pool equipment and took care of the pool maintenance for a month while educating me on the chemical balancing. Overall, I would recommend Contemporary Pools to anyone looking for great sales/design, quality, and service in their next pool project.

I have had 4 pools built over my lifetime. 3 of those builds have been absolute nightmares. This time we chose Contemporary Pools and what a night and day difference. They communicated with us the entire way, they kept a neat and tidy work area, and their employees were extremely pleasent and informative. Dan had told us it would take 8 weeks to build, we of course had our doubts being the last pool we had built took 6 months and true to his word the pool was built in that time frame. I couldnt believe it. If I had to do it all again, I would most definitely choose Contemporary again! We have recommended them to several people already. Thanks for a GREAT job everyone!

We are very happy with our experience building with Contemporary Pools! They have been very responsive to any questions we have had though out and after the completion of our project. The pool and pavers turned out even better than we had anticipated, and we are thoroughly enjoying our new pool!

AVOID! So rude and condescending. I called CP to ask them to come out and look at our salt/chlorine equipment (that they had installed) because the pool turned green with an orange film on the bottom within a matter of days. A man came out and said he checked the salt/chlorine system and that there was nothing wrong with it, and that I had a buildup of phosphates. I was skeptical, but he said he had tested it and knew better than I did, so I took the steps he gave me to resolve the issue (clean the filter, put in stabilizer). No change, and I noticed that the PurChlor system has a red light telling me there is a problem with pool flow. The man did not mention this, and obviously he did not actually test it. I called back to say that the issue was not resolved and if he had actually tested it (like he said he did) rather than spending literally five minutes out here, dumping phosphate remover in the pool and collecting his $85, we would not have this problem. I was spoken down to very rudely by BRIAN and told that because we clean and service our own pool (for the past 7 years with no problem) that I shouldnt call and complain to them because we dont know what were doing. He said take the filter out and see if the light goes off, and if not, we need a new filter. SHOULDNT THE TECH HAVE DONE THIS WHEN HE CAME OUT AND COLLECTED HIS $85??? Horrible, horrible, horrible, condescending and RUDE customer service. NEVER AGAIN. PLEASE AVOID.
