These guys are great! I was in panic mode on a Friday morning when I clicked on an innocent looking link and my computer froze up!!!Alarms were going off and red warning lights were flashing. Of all days, I was in the middle of fielding offers on a property I had just listed.I quickly ran myself and my computer up to Genius Computer repair. The guys put my mind at ease by telling me that the virus was isolated and would not infect the other computers on my network. By the next day (Saturday) my computer was all fixed and new anti-virus software installed. The service was great and the price reasonable!

After our move to SW Florida we couldn’t get our Iomega to work. It had family pictures on it back to 1950. Genius Computer proves that size does not matter. As a small family run business they were out the same day and explained to us our options. Two days after taking the Iomega back to their shop we get a call that they were able to pull the pictures off. Now that was GENIUS!! Thank you!!

I was in a very vulnerable position: I just spilled water straight into my $1,200 laptop and it died. Not only that; it exuded some hysterical dying sound for like three minutes. Ugh. I called three other places closer to me and no answer. Genius answered. I flew down there with what sounded like a dying computerized calf and they quickly drew up a work order and got to business. ...this is the perfect damsel in distress scenario that predatory business owners dream of. Lucky for me, I ended up with these guys who were NOTHING of that nature. They told me straight up that it could go either way and they didn’t play any head games. They fixed it with in a few hours and charged me a very fair price. I am a loyal customer and LOVE it when I find a place that I can return to. Genius earned that regard from their fast, competent and fair business practices. 10/10 recommended!!!

I have an older computer that was running beyond slow. Aggravating, frustrating, time-consuming. I have a custom built gaming computer that is a monster. It suddenly shut down while I was playing and suspected the power supply. I lugged it in to Genius and they called me back saying they had changed out the power supply and it still was dead. They tracked the problem down to a short in the video card. Some shops would try to sell me both a power supply and a new card but Genius did not. They gave me several options for the new card, installed the one I wanted and I was back online within 3 days. I just want to say that Im totally satisfied with the service provided by Genius Computer Repair and would recommend them highly. I have called on their expertise a number of time for software issues and viruses and this last time, I had a hardware repair after accidently dripping water into my laptop. I brought a difficult task to Genius Computer Repairs & Service. I had an old computer that was running a DOS program (yes, I said DOS), and being I was running this DOS program I hadnt been able update my computer in some time. I asked him to build me a new computer; one that would run the dinosaur DOS program, as well as have much more memory, and speed. He did it! I have an amazing computer, running Windows 7 professional, 64-bit operating system, and 8 GB of RAM...and still have my DOS program. All of this for an amazing price AND done in just a couple days! Genius Computer Repair & Service comes HIGHLY recommended.

The Geniuses upgraded my 2010 iMac with an SSD and 16 GB of memory. It took only a few days; the cost was very reasonable; and now my iMac performs even a lot better than ever before. - - - Due strictly to my own oversight, I had to spend considerable effort afterward to be able to access my MS Office documents, because my software was good for only a single installation. They fixed my iPhone screen promptly, but the screen they used is cheap and does not work with polarized sunglasses. I would recommend going with an Apple certified installer as we live in Florida and always have sunglasses on.

I had a hard drive go bad, I thought I lost 3 years of work! Genius Computers was able to recover and back up all my files. I highly recommend this shop. They had my files the next day, as well as reformatted my old hard drive. They recommend I only use it as a secondary drive, but it is in good working condition. Thank you Genius Computers!

They fixed the iPad like new for $99, which compared with other places, was an absolute steal.My laptop had a bad hard drive. They swapped out my hard drive and managed to get all of my data off my old hard drive and my laptop now runs faster than ever!I will use them in the future when my next gadget breaks, and I know it will.

Ive actually brought in a few computers for the guys at Genius to work on. Every time, Ive been met with complete professionalism, and Ive never been disappointed in the work--or care--that Paul and Giovanni have shown me and my computers. Ive brought in just about everything: being frantic and brought in a computer that I had to have back within hours for a class, all the way to trying to get back deleted files from the previous year. Every time, the guys have taken excellent care of me and my computers, and each time they have gone the extra mile to make sure they either fixed, or told me, about other issues they found. Their prices are completely reasonable, and you have peace of mind knowing theyll take care of your belongings just as they would your own. I wont take my computers anywhere else!!! :)

I brought parts for a PC build in here 2 years or so back and it’s been a workhorse ever since it was finished. Cost $70 for the whole hardware build and $70 for all the software installations which saved me time and frustration since I can’t use my hands much for building anymore. I’d definitely recommend if you need a fix or build.

I am a member of The Cape Coral Welcome Center group on Facebook. I posted a question for a referral for a place that could fix my computer FAST...so many people suggested that I try Genius Computer Repair and Service in Cape Coral Florida so I gave you guys a shot. I thought I would need to leave it over night but the guy (Giovanni) and the desk asked me to come back in 4 hours and he would see what he could do.
