I have been going to the canton location over the past few months for Brazilians. Highly recommend seeing Meraina she is great and makes you feel very comfortable. First wax is half off which is also a plus!

I love this location this was first time trying a European wax center i was a little nervous but I was totally comfortable getting my Brazilian wax with my lady she didn’t make it awkward! Helped me breathe and it helped a lot! (I’m not sure of her name can’t remember) but it was very clean inside and great results 💛

EWC Canton is a great place to get waxed. I always go to Sarah A. She’s the best, she’s friendly and makes you feel really comfortable. This site is clean and all the staff is very friendly, so I recommend to go there most definitely!!

This was my first Brazilian wax, so I had no clue what to expect. By the end of my appointment I was sore & had two areas that were bleeding because my skin was removed in some areas with the hair OUCH!! The temperature in the room was 80 degrees, I was informed during my waxing service that the air conditioning wasn’t working. This resulted in the wax being extremely sticky & more difficult to remove. I wanted to jump off the table & run down Ford Rd to escape the pain but decided to stick it. I also had hair & wax left on my body after my service. My waxing specialist was nice but the experience was less to be desired. For this reason, I won’t be back but will try another waxing facility in hopes of a better experience. As of today, almost a week later I’m FINALLY feeling better in my sensitive area.

Do NOT get a Brazilian here. Either they need to stop providing them or they need to make sure their employees are trained better. I’ve gotten two and both times were awful. The first time I just thought it was the waxer so I went today and oh my god it was awful. I’m in so much pain. The wax was sooo hot i’m pretty sure i have burns and there’s so much wax left on me that i’m uncomfortable walking around. She had to keep going over the same areas over again because the wax wouldn’t pull off, probably because it was so hot. i also got my eyebrows done and they look terrible. I’ve been coming here for years for my brows and things have really gone downhill since Rachel, Natalie, and Brianna left. It seems like they’ll just let anyone wax now.

I had a scheduled appointment today at 9:00 AM no one showed up. I stood outside for almost 45 minutes while it was raining. I called and texted the number no one responded. 2 clients were waiting just like me. To avoid this please let someone know. I will not be coming back here again. That is very unprofessional and embarrassing.

My appointment was on July 8 at 11:15am and it was my first time getting a full brazilian wax. I had no problem with the person who did my wax, at first...she was very nice and upset as well because they had no central air working and it was almost 80 degrees in the room which was making the wax not set right and it made her have to pull and pull on the wax for it to come up. Im sweating bullets and it was awfully hot. I felt they should have been closed that day until the air was repaired. She did a good job on the butt part and semi front. The only problem I did have with her was that she didnt clean me up properly and Im still picking huge chunks of wax off which are still connected to hairs that shouldnt be there. The receptionist is rude and I wont be coming back.

Today was my first time getting a wax here and I had Jess. She did a great job, very professional, attentive, nice and also gave recommendations along the way. I had a full leg waxing and it did not hurt at all. The only reason I was a little disappointed it’s because I thought there was going to be a nice deal for the service. I just paid regular price (which is not bad), but we are in the holidays and it was my first time getting wax. Throwing some deals to first times customer is really important to get our full attention and more interest. Besides that I am going back because the specialist, just wish front desk were more attentive and engaging with me.

I’ve been coming here for quite sometime now. I usually leave pleased, but my last two experiences haven’t been so great. One time I showed up to my appointment and they called to reschedule while I was pulling inn and I don’t live close. Yesterday the waxer was very nice but I still had wax on me and I still have hair patches on my thighs, this is not a Brazilian. Very disappointed, will be changing locations.

My appointment was today at 3:15pm. I was prompt and called the center to check in. No one answered but I could see the entire staff including the waxers hanging out in the lobby. Then I tried going to the door and I told them I called and no one answered, I was told to scan the door and wait in my car. I hope my wax pass can be transferred. I never want to come back to the Canton location and I’ve been going to this location for years. If you don’t want customers, close. Not only was I not able to have my appointment I was also labeled a no show.

Just went in for my second Brazilian. Both experiences were excellent 2nd time around I had Brianna and she did a fantastic job. Quick and professional highly recommended

Got a full arms service done. My wax specialist was inexperienced and couldnt take my hair off. Kept waxing the same areas repeatedly causing redness all over without clean hair removal. Kept saying my hair growth was the issue.Really bad experience!

Only place I come to for my Brazilian wax. Always so clean and the ladies are so friendly. I had Donna today and she was absolutely great.

Very disappointed with my last experience at the Canton location with one of the front desk staff. She has been disrespectful. I have been a loyal customer up to this point, however this experience left a bitter taste. I asked the lady to have the manager call me back and yet it has been a week and nobody returned my call.

I have been coming here for years and I just cant get a good wax specialist! My last experience was the worst! After asking for a good specialist I had a new specialist named Hailey, she was dripping sweat over me while doing a Brazilian! She couldnt get the wax off (It got stuck everytime!) Which made it unnecessarily painful! And she left patches hair! I buy a wax pass yearly and spend too much money in this place to not be able to have a good experience!!!

FOLLOW UP: After the review I posted regarding my experience, I received a call from management and corporate. Im glad this issue has been taken care of appropriately. Looking forward to my appointments!Extremely disappointed with the services here and would not recommend this location to anyone! My appointment was rescheduled due to a call in. Received an email and phone call confirming this rescheduled time. I showed up to my appointment at the rescheduled time and the place was closed. Stood outside the facility for 15 minutes in the rain only to realize the place was closed. Never received a phone call regarding this cancellation. I left two messages for them. No callback from the manager from the facility. Called the facility twice the next day to follow up on the situation and yet no manager call. Horrible customer service. Clearly their focus is not on customer satisfaction. Save your time. You may have an appointment that doesnt even exist.

It was my first time and I had Valerie. I got a full face for my first time. I was kind of nervous coming in but it went great! She was amazing! Very sweet and fast and it did not hurt as bad as I thought. She made it super bearable. Will definitely come back, and definitely will be back for her!:) highly recommend you book with Valerie 10/10 experience. Thank you so much!

Everything went well. The water knew what they were doing and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable.

I got a full Brazilian bikini wax. Since this was my 1st wax, it was half off which is a bonus.I loved the cleanliness of the place. It was also well lit.The lady I was assigned to was very polite and carried a good conversation. The service only took 15mins but I gave them 4 stars because she did not remove all of the hair or offer me a mirror to look at the finished product.

First time it was quick and fast. Great customer service got me bikini wax it is awesome. Bought polish it smells great to put on everyday.

I received a full Brazilian wax on 12/5/2020. The staff was very pleasant and professional. This was my second wax ever, and my last full Brazilian wax was over a year ago. I have never been to this location before, so it was my first time there. Ive been to another European Wax Center in a different state and had a pleasant experience with my wax. However, this time was not the case. I selected Brianna on a whim. She was nice and professional but I feel like she rushed my wax. During my wax she asked when was the last time I shaved, I said About 3 weeks ago. She said, Oh ok. Well sometimes the wax may not adhere to the hair because the strands are too short. But she tells me this half way through my wax. I felt like she wasnt allowing the wax to dry long enough because she had to take one strip off by ripping it in small pieces because it wouldnt rip in one piece. And that was VERY painful. The process felt rushed. Ik, that the wax isnt always gonna be 100% smooth on the first wax in a while, but I had stubble. I did some research and most ppl said when theres stubble after a wax, that means the hair follicles were too short. (Which is what she said). I was very uncomfortable and sore 2 days after my wax. I actually had small blood spot in my underwear. (Which made me feel she was also pulling too hard/being rough). Now, 3 days later, I have A LOT of hair bumps. I dont even have this many hair bumps when I shave. All in all, it was a very unpleasant visit and the results are even more annoying. I just wish she had told me before my wax that my hair was too short (instead of halfway through), I would have gladly rescheduled. I also wish she would have taken her time because waxing down there is nerve wrecking. This is a sensitive part of my body and it should be handled with care, in my opinion.

I got my brows waxed here, and it wasn’t the best experience. The waxing hurt more than normal. The skin around my eyebrows is very swollen and red. This has never happened to me before. I probably won’t be coming back here :(

I’m 5 moths pregnant and wanted to do the full Brazilian for my husband. I’ve never done that before but I’m so happy I did. They were fast and very good and knew exactly what they were doing and did it very efficiently. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I’m definitely going back. My only regret is that I haven’t done it sooner.

I normally love it however... I feel like my water needs to go back to training... Ive been getting waxed over 2yrs and with Autumn it was unnecessarily painful... Again I dont know if it was because I was the last person for the day but that shouldnt matter 🤷‍♀️

As I walked up they are taking multiple precautions to protect customers with the pandemic- that was awesome.After going in, my waxer didnt even introduced herself. She seemed to be in a hurry throughout the entire process.The worst part- she was applying the wax incorrectly which resulted in the hair being ripped and not pulled. Walked out of there with my skin feeling prickly and many hairs left behind. And when I asked if maybe she could go over those areas because it looks like the hairs were ripped, there are still many hairs in different spots, and does not feel smooth I was told that was normal, dont worry about it, and come back in a couple weeks to have it done again.Now, hair was optimal length to be waxed, exfoliated and prepped my skin in advance.Very disappointed by this waxer and this location.I have been waxing regularly for many years. Usually I go to a different location, but they didnt have anything available that worked with my schedule and so I booked an appointment here.I will make sure to go to my regular location from now on.

DeAndre’ is amazing at providing services. Unfortunately, the receptionist/front desk staff and management can’t seem to navigate their scheduling system accurately. I’ve been informed on three (3) separate occasions that the Manager would contact me back, due to scheduling inaccuracies: that never occurred. In addition, they’re always trying to “sell” you something....it can come across as being aggressive with the tactics they use. I would refrain from purchasing ahead for services, as if you don’t get the exact one, you lose your money, even if the service you receive is of a lessor cost.

Had an excellent experience with D’andra! She was quick and very friendly. She kept the conversation flowing which made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend her!!

My niece had a service performed here over,liked the sevice paid for the service and 30 days later money came out of her account for services not performed for way more than the last service. Called and spoke to someone who absolutely refused to help. If you have services done here pay cash.

Great experience with Sharvon today. Very professional and welcoming. She was quick and efficient. Very informative too. The facility is clean and the front desk is friendly and great with answering questions. This is my second positive experience and I opted to get the prepay passes they offer. Ill definitely be back and encourage you to give them a try.

I highly recommend Miranda for any service. I was very nervous my first time but she assured me that it wouldnt be that painful and calmed me down by keeping conversation. She is quick and makes the experience almost painless. I am very satisfied with the services I recieved.

I had gone there to get a Brazilian Wax and was injured by the hot wax and my piercing was ripped out. I spoke with the Manager and her solution was to speak with the waxer and offer a free wax. I felt like they acted like my injury was no big deal and didnt make enough effort to compensate me for my pain and inconvenience. Dont go here if you have a piercing because it may be ripped out and swept under the rug!!

I’ve been here 5 times and Only one woman out of the staff cares about how good she does with waxing. They will leave sticky wax on you so be sure to make sure it all gone before putting your clothes back on because it WILL stick to your underwear and it feel like it’s ripping your skin off. I have also gotten my eyebrows done there and they looked the exact same as when I came in. So if you are looking to waste 20$ on a eyebrow wax please go here.

I just got my first Brazilian and I am so happy with the service I received today. From check in to check out I felt so welcome. My wax technician was Nikki and she did a fabulous job, and Im so happy with the result! Will be back in 4 weeks :)

They do exactly what you want. They try to upsell you stuff, but once you say no, they stop. The staff is super nice and everyone is polite.

I love this place will be coming back. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel as possible comfortable. They just opened up about five months ago as well. Alexa did my Brazilian wax and underarms she was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get rid of any unwanted hair.

$20 for your eye brows to look worse then they did when you came in, then she tried to fill them in didn’t even ask because she knew they looked horrible and literally I could have done a better job myself with my eyes closed. The fact the people over pay for this just to go to a “nice” “clean” place is ridiculous. A nail salon in the hood could have done a better job on my eye brows. I even had a free eyebrow for booking online and just tipped and I still feel like it was biggest rip off!!

Ive been to this location about five times since moving to Detroit. Ive seen Nicole W. for every appointment and shes awesome! Friendly and professional. The ladies in the front are also wonderful especially since Im usually 8.5 minutes late for every appointment 😌. For the times that Ive needed to reschedule the process has been really easy.

Brooke is AMAZING! Even when I was cussing like a sailor and crying like a baby she remained reassuring and professional. I got my first ever Brazilian and Under Arms done. I will definitely be back to see Brooke.The studio is clean and the front desk is warm and welcoming.

After hearing about the European Wax Center & their use of hard bean wax on YouTube I knew this was the place I wanted to go.Clean. No wait. Easy to book an appointment online.Staff was spectacular and friendly (I went on a Sunday morning). Greeter was knowledgeable. Waxer (Brooke) was the best! I didnt find myself nervous, but either way she was super calming and chill. Funny.Here we are a month later and Im back again :)

I just got home from my first waxing experience, and I have to say I was surprised. I got a full leg, underarm, and Brazilian. The legs and underarms were almost painless, and the Brazilian actually wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. My esthetician was Brooke and she was awesome - very fast, very thorough, and kept me calm by talking me through everything without talking so much that it was annoying. I highly recommend this location - there wasnt any wait when I got there and everything was very clean.

I like this place & the person that did my eyebrows did a great job but had to stop going. I kept breaking out because the wax was to hot. I saw I got a response & its alttle offensive. UR WAX IS TO HOT. I dont need to go to the doctor.

I got a same day appointment with ease...so they get a 2. However, I was not a fan of my eyebrows. I normally get my eyebrows done for half their price....but my place is just so far away. It would be another desperate situation to return here though.

Ill never go to a salon to get waxed. This place is decently priced with great service. The wax pass helps you save money. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

I would really only give them 5 stars, due to my service I had with Shekina. She was absolutely amazing, made me feel really comfortable and was very informative and walked me through each step. But because I work in the medical field, I know how things should go when it comes to front desk service.. and in the back or provider service. I think the front desk could be more welcoming and informative and make the customer feel at home, which wasnt any that Ive gotten until AFTER my service was done. Then was trying to get me to be interested in getting other services then go over first timer specials, which by that point I was not interested. Other than that, my experience was great. I would still recommend this place to others, and again... Shakina was GREAT!!!!!

This is my second visit to European Wax Center. First visit was the Woodhaven location, which I loved.This location, Canton is not very clean and the staff is young and very unprofessional. One technician came out into lobby with wax on her arm. I wait for 15 minutes after my appointment time for services. I will never visit this location again or suggest it to no one. I’ll take the drive to Woodhaven.

This was my first experience with a Brazilian and I booked with Brooke. She was nice and sweet. She made my experience a nice one, because Lord knows I was a nervous reck, 😳. We talked like we have met before and was catching up like old times lol. Also, she moves very quicky, but is very detailed in making sure you look great. Trust, you will mot be disappointed.

They’re not accommodating if you’re running late. I literally missed the 9 minute grace period by 60 seconds due to traffic. I was told by the manager I had to wait another 45 minutes before being seen. When I scheduled my reservation an hour ago there was several appointments slots available.
