Went to shiny nails for the first time today and was not disappointed! I got the deluxe manicure/pedicure and it was AMAZING! The woman who worked with me took her time, was very professional and gave me a wonderful pedicure and French tip manicure. I was incredibly pleased with my experience and won’t hesitate to go back again.

I highly recommend Shiny Nails! Lisa was so sweet and kind and did my nails perfectly! I drove from down by Owatonna since my aunt and I were in the area. I asked if I could get a walk in appointment and they were willing to get me in and get my nails done quickly and correctly. I will for sure be coming back again! This business is well worth the drive.

Had a great pedicure. Everyone was masked, all customers were physically distanced. Staff were all so kind. They said their prices had gone up due to COVID, but the deluxe pedicure was still only $40, which is a steal for the quality of the service. I had been here a couple times a few years ago and have never had a bad experience.

I have been a customer of Shiny Nails for at least 13 years! I love Lisa she does the best nails in town, the way I like them! I will miss her customer appreciation food this year! She did all the nails for my daughter!s wedding party 12 years ago!

I honestly think they did a great job! They took their time so I was there for a little longer but my nails look really great. Its just what I wanted and I appreciate them taking the time versus rushing through it like other places Ive been to. Good prices too!

The deluxe pedicure is $40 and a great deal! The massage was amazing which of course is my favorite part. Very clean. The deluxe pedicure included sea salt massage, lotion massage and hot stones

Always do my nails great and accommodate all my crazy requests. Lisa is always upbeat and goes above and beyond to make sure every one has a great experience the only place ive gotten acrylics for years.

I was here about a month ago and debated on leaving a review. I was a first time walk in customer. The people working attempted to “squeeze” me in so they could get another buck and just terrible work. I would prefer they would have told me they were busy and to come back at a different time. First I had a cut on my finger that I showed the lady up front and asked her to be careful. She was looking around, talking to all her co workers that she hit it TWICE. I finally had to say I don’t care how it looks I don’t want that filed. Then she and a co worker went back and forth doing my nails which was super odd because the lady who said she could do my nails had an appt 10 minutes after my arrival!!!! I understand these are tough times but professionalism is something to keep business around.

Seriously the best! I have never been to a nail place that is so customer service oriented. They are personable, and sooo nice! Beat service ever and they did a great job! I was glad I made an appointment because they got busy super fast on a Saturday.

I finally found a fantastic nail salon near where I live. I am in nursing school, and we arent allowed to have painted nails during our hospital placements. I finished a rotation today, and realized that I have almost 3 weeks before Ill have to have plain nails again, so I decided to get mine done. I got a gel manicure, and I asked if she could add yellow flowers. I didnt give her any further instructions, but she knew what I meant, and she added completely adorable little yellow blossoms to my turquoise nails. She was very gentle and didnt wreck my nails. I will definitely return here next time I have a break from school.💓💖

Staff is friendly, the massage chairs are excellent. Best pedicure I have ever had, well worth the money. The staff did an excellent job, manicure was a wonderful experience also. Great way to treat yourself!!

This was my first time at Shiny Nails. I called and made a last minute appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. Jasmine, who did my gel nails, was very sweet and did a great job. I just wish Id chosen a different color from the selection of gel polishes they had (this one ended up being a lot brighter than it looked on the sampler), but thats on me. I will definitely be back again when its time for a new manicure!

I went here to get my nails done for a gel manicure with nail design. The girls that worked on my nails were super meticulous. They made sure to take their time fixing up my nails before applying a single coat of polish. I have been to this nail salon a few times now. I have always had good experiences here, but this time I was totally blown away by how great of a job they did.

Ive been to many nail salons around my area and I must say, making that extra 30 min commute out to this salon is sooo worth it !! Lisa is my to go manicurist. She takes her time to ensure that the color, shape, and overall quality of the nails are on point! I love that fact that she doesnt cut corners unlike the other nail salons Ive been to. The salon atmosphere is very modern and clean. I am definitely a repeat costumer.

I had an appointment at 3:30 and a different girl came in and she did here before mine. i had to wait until 4:30. i wanted long, coffin-shaped nails and she gave me short round nails. they look like bubbles. i wanted a flame design on one nail and that requires just a little precision. she rushed through it and it’s basically just lines. and the nails are very thick and overall it’s just bad. i don’t recommend at all. it was also $95 for me and my sister together and she just got them painted.

Absolutely recommend. The place and tools are clean. The lady fixed my broken nail and did what I asked. Then we discussed about a little bit decoration and I loved it! They also will give you a warm towel and massage your hands at the end. I will totally take my mom and my friends for manicure here next time.

Wanted to love this place. They were friendly and sweet but after just ONE week both my sister and I have nails that are peeling and chipping and have thick ridges. We had 2 different ladies giving us what they call their luxury gel manicure and pedicure. If you dont want to throw away your money do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!

Shiny Nails is wonderful, certainly the best pedi Ive enjoyed in the Burnsville.When you arrive youre given a menu of choices for aromas and scrubs that are included in your treatment. I look forward to trying the various options from rosemary to peppermint on future visits.Which is amazing considering the salon is also super clean with lovely relaxing decor and has friendly staff. And in case you need one more reason to visit, Shiny Nails is family owned and operated!I would definitely recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

She is always amazing and never disappoints! She had me in and out. I got a mani and pedi today. Spend the extra money for the deluxe warming sugar scrub. The massage was a nice long one. I felt so relaxed and she even remembered Im planning a wedding from a previous visit with her.🌺

Shiny Nails is the best nail salon I have ever been to in the state of Minnesota. I recommend this salon to all my friends, male and females! The hot stone massage at the end of my pedicure completes my relaxation during my pedicure.THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!This is the only place in the state I will go to get my nails and toes done. :)

I have never ever had nails that last for so long! I got a gel mani 1 day before having my baby and if my nails werent growing so quick, I would have had a perfect mani for at least a month! Even after washing baby bottles and pacifiers with warm water and soap constantly! Best nail job Ive had!❤️❤️❤️

I got a powder dip. The formula must have been really cheap because the next day they chipped and my nails broke, and they laid on the powder really thick. I would recommend Q nails instead

I was welcomed warmly.. I felt as though some of the other customers had a more thorough pedicure than I did. And then the girl doing my nails were pulling down the ends of my leggings and messed up my nail polish. I read the reviews from others before I came here thinking it was going to be a great experience, but it wasnt and Im not going to say dont come here, but I wouldnt come back myself. If I do, I cant get my nails done by the same girl.

This is my fave place to get a mani or pedi.They do everything from basic to fancy, and all of the things in between.I never leave here with my nails anything but perfect, and my techs are always nothing but gracious and kind. Definitely a gem!

Wonderful in every way! Ive been to almost every nail salon in Burnsville and this was definitely the best job done with the best price! They do a very good job on kids nails and dont overcharge you like most places, I highly recommend and will be going back!

My sister and i went today for a mani/pedi. Even though we got the same thing, the process followed was different between the two of us. Also, my sister is trained in doing nails and she said that they skipped some steps in both the manicure and the pedicure processes. Biggest downfalls were that I have a cut on the cuticle of one toe, one of my big toes hurts like I have another hidden cut on it, and less than 4 hours afterward the polish on my nails has already fallen off. The second star was for the pleasant service, otherwise it would have been only 1.

I had a gel manicure done here and 3 days later it started peeling off. I went in to have them fix this b/c this has never happened at any other location I have been to and they tried to tell me it was a cuticle problem. I noticed the first time they did not use a pH bond prior to starting to apply the manicure so I explained that and they ignored this an redid the gel polish again. Problem is they did not use the pH bond so I will have the same issue. If you want nice looking nails that only last 3 days and start to peel go here.

The best place to go! They are accomodating and super nice and are grateful for your business. In a place where competition is high they go the extra mile. give them a try!

Everyone was very friendly, however I could have done my nails just as good. I had a gel manicure, but there was no attention or care to my cuticles, which i was looking forward to. They were having phone issues at the time we were there which led to their credit card machine not working. They asked all of us to leave and go to the cash machine and come back. They didnt offer any discount for our inconvenience of having to go to the cash machine. When i left, I realized i had clear top coat all over the edges of my nails on my skin. I wanted to love this place, but I was disappointed.

Shiny Nails is my new favorite nail salon! Employees are very friendly and professional. The $25 pedicure includes a hot stone massage which makes this a super relaxing experience.

Ive patronized Shiny Nails off and on for nearly 20 years, including back in the days when we all wore sculptured nails, and eyebrow waxing was just coming into fashion. They were one of the first around to offer full-service pedicures too. Emma rocks when it comes to doing luxury pedicures-- $35 well spent and Ive been using her services exclusively the last two years. She takes time, even with fixing ingrown toenails,, and polish is always perfect. Beautiful designs & a hot stone massage tops at all. Lisa, the owner, is super friendly and always accommodating, even if I call and ask to come in on short notice. Oh, and Lisa can wax eyebrows in a minute or less--seriously! Two weeks ago, I went with a friend elsewhere in Burnsville, (who Invited me for a pedi as a gift). While it was thoughtful of her, the pedicure was of C- or D quality, compared to what I get at Shiny Nails. I cant wait to get back to Emma!

This used to be my all time favorite nail salon. The staff ARE always friendly but lately Ive found the skill to be lacking. Their manicure guru left a few months ago (I dont know why, the answer changes whenever I ask) and now my nails turn out tolerable, but only that. I have discovered that I should no longer go on the weekends because the person who does my nails tends to hop between clients (often keeping two waiting and working on one). Normally I wouldnt mind, but my nails turn up sloppy.The gel that they apply turns out lumpy, with huge dips between the pink and white gels. The clear coat on top always has bubbles now and in a week they burst, causing the bubbles to collect my black makeup and there is no way to clean it out, the bubbles are so fine. I have brought these problems up while Im there, but once its all dried, theres nothing they can do unless I insist they start over. I never had all these problems when the other guy worked here so, its good but no longer amazing.
