Wow so glad I found this place, wish I had found them sooner!My mom has a 2002 Ford Thunderbird that wasnt blowing COLD A/C, only warm. So she took it to Serramonte Ford Dealer for a quote because my entire family services their vehicles at Ford. Anyway, I dont know what it was but they quoted her a few thousand dollars to fix this A/C problem stating that it may be more as they work on the vehicle. She was upset at the quote and asked me to find someone else.So I turned to CAC from Yelp. I brought in the vehicle and only stated that the A/C wasnt blowing cold air. He took the vehicle and told me he would thoroughly inspect the car to see whats going on. If anything major needed to be done, he would called for permission to proceed. The next day Andrew called and said that the vehicle was ready for pickup. They managed to fix the problem by adding refridgerant to the car. There was no leaks that they could see so he said for me to bring it in if there were any problem as the warranty is for a year. The total cost was $208 for the entire inspection and refrigerant. Wow! So glad to find honest mechanics thats not trying to take advantage of older female customers such as my mom.5 STARS!

Andrew is a really honest mechanic. I trust him absolutely to give me the best advice. He had the transmission fixed on my Honda Odyssey for much less than other quotes I got. It was fixed in 2016 and it is still doing well. He also advised me after that van was in a crash. He gave me a good option and undertook the job and fixed it to the level necessary for our purposes, and certainly for a very reasonable price.I really trust him and California Auto Center and I would highly recommend them.

Because of the Check Engine light on around two years ago, I came to this repair shop. So far California Auto Care Burlingame is the best car repair shop that I have used. A girl like me, doesnt know about cars, often has issues with car repair/mentainnance shops, either cheated by dishonest shops or overwhelmed by lack of knowledges. I am glad finally I can find a shop that I can trust and dont need to worry about my car any more.I can see the mechanics here are very skillful and experienced. Their service is excellent as well. They dont up sell. The price is reasonable and sometimes they would even give you some free add-on services. I feel they are just like my good neighbors. I spoke out my dissatisfaction one time, they immediately did something to improve it.

I brought in my Lexus ct because of an issue with the steering linkage. I had researched the problem I was having and the fix ranged anywhere from $150-2000 in the cases I found online. In my experience that’s a bad sign usually. Much to my surprise Andrew fixed my car in a matter of hours and only charged me $120! Really straight forward and honest about the repairs done. No upsell whatsoever either. Definitely legit thx Andrew

Honest, no BS. Patched a hole in my tire for 20 bucks while I waited. Took my other car in with some bumper and mirror damage and they offered to handle the claim with my insurance and fix the mirror for free.

Wow how great these guys are. Brought truck in for and issue to be $200-300 fix. On site they noticed a cracked air intake hose cheap repair to try myself prior to shelling out the money for something that probably isnt the immediate issue. If I ever have an vehicle issue I will be going to them. The honesty and sincerity gives me trust in them to do right by me as a customer.
