I just had a fantastic experience here. I got two veneers on my nearly front teeth. had some composite on them from years prior that had begun to look discolored. Not so bad in person, but really started showing in photos. And I became self conscious of the smile that I used to give so freely!Well, Dr. Bieber, with the help of Ivy, helped me figure out what I wanted to do, they understood my desire to be conservative and didn’t try to push any procedures on me. ( for example, I have a slightly gummy smile and they didn’t try to sell me on some kind of cosmetic procedure, which, in Hollywood, is not uncommon. )They were so personable and genuine and really paid attention to detail.The process was painless and the results are really just what I’d hoped for.I’d recommend them highly.I’m a belieber!!

Round two!Over twenty years ago I busted my teeth rollerblading in Venice.Dr. Bieber saved me!He gave me a smile that has been making me money for over 22 years. So it was a no brained to come back when I needed a tune up.Same team. Same teeth lab. Same lovely ladies at the front and some new ones too!It’s not easy to replace ones teeth but Dr Bieber and the staff will support you all the way. I really didn’t think I could be happier with my smile in anyway. BUT I just want to sleep with my grin on! I cannot recommend this place, or Dr Bieber, enough! I had not been to the dentist in just about ten years (I know) and when I went to Dr Bieber, I was annoyingly clear with them how scared I was about the damage. Caitlin (maybe spelled wrong) at the front desk is an absolute angel who helps me every time with scheduling and insurance. Agnes gave me the most gentle teeth cleaning of my life. Ivy is super sweet and knowledgeable and always answers my dumb questions. Last but not least, Dr. Bieber is the nicest, most accommodating, talented dentist. They’ve all turned a nightmare into something totally bearable and even pleasant for me! 10/10, A+++, 1000% recommend going to see Dr Bieber and his entirely lovely office staff!!

When I came across Toomin & Bieber, I saw that they had good reviews online and emphasized paying attention to the types of jaw issues I had suffered with most of my life, so I set up an appointment and became a patient of Dr. Bieber’s.The first appointment was a meet and greet and the environment was incredibly friendly and welcoming, I felt like everyone was ready to get to know me as a person and were all happy to talk to me about my bigger health picture and how they could help. Linda was one of the first people I talked to, she works in the front and along with the rest of the team is always really friendly and makes me feel welcome when I come in.Dr. Bieber was great at explaining what my dental needs were, what order would be best to have them done in, and why I needed these things. I was kept in the loop about the plan for me, unlike prior dentists where they would do things but I didn’t fully understand what or why. I’ve gotten a temporary splint which has helped keep me from grinding my teeth and am in the process of being fitted for a more long-term one.Leti has handled a good number of my appointments such as getting impressions of my teeth and half of my deep cleanings. She is incredibly friendly and takes time to explain what she is doing and why. She’s always checking in and making sure I feel comfortable the entire time. She’s also shown me things that I never learned from previous dentist offices regarding home care: such as the proper way to floss, or how I should be using my tooth brush. Today I am going back in to continue with my deep cleanings with Anais who has also been very friendly and helpful along with Ivy.Dental care isn’t cheap, but despite the cost I feel like I am getting quality care and every cent I’m spending is being utilized and worth it. The office has also been understanding in helping me set up payment plan options and working with my financial situation.I don’t think I’d ever want to go to a different dental office again now that I can see the night and day difference in the care I can receive. If you value your dental hygiene and have issues such as TMJ, I 1000% recommend Toomin and Bieber’s office.

I’ve been going to Dr. Bieber for more that 6 years and I can say (as someone who dislikes going to the dentist immensely) that he is the best. I’ve been coming to Dr. Toomin for dental care for many years and he and the staff do high quality work with exacting standards. I appreciate their focus and attention to detail. All of the assisting staff is wonderful, but I particularly think Mae is a delight and I feel very cared for in her hands. Though everybody has been great.Unfortunately, they charge a bit more than many dental offices, but I have found it worth it so far....I feel comfortable with them.

Ive been going to Toomin & Bieber for for 20 years, and Ive had Dr. Toomin as my personal dentist as well as for my Son. The Staff is great and they do a great job. I highly recommend them, and I know because Ive been to a lot of Dentists in my life: ^ ) =

I had a weird and sheisty experience here. First of all, if you are a new patient, you have to go in a minimum of three times before they will even clean your teeth.The first visit, you have to go in and get interviewed by your dentist and the office manager. What? Just clean my teeth, Im not here to be interviewed. The second visit, a hygienist measures your gum recession with a pick and records all of it. This is when they immediately try to sell you a tooth scaling appointment even when your gum recession is 1-2 mm, which is normal. Before anyone even cleaned my teeth, the hygienist was trying to get me to sign up for a $500+ procedure and was pulling a price sheet out of the desk where she keeps the tools. Have you ever heard of this? If any dentist recommends a procedure, they usually have someone check with your insurance how much it will cost, and an external periodontist performs the scaling. Not here--they do all the shady business and want to charge you up front for something they plan to do in-house that isnt covered by your insurance. Third visit, my teeth were cleaned, but by cleaned I mean the hygienist brushed my teeth and flossed them. No scraping out my stains or plaque. I had to take separate days off throughout the month to get all of this done, and all I had was a brushing and flossing done.To make things worse, they charged me $99 for all of it, even though I had full insurance coverage for cleanings. I asked if that was the full amount that I would need to pay, and they said yes; then they sent me another bill for $30 a few weeks later. All for the single tooth-brushing cleaning. What on earth? Most dental cleanings are either 100% covered by my insurance (Delta Dental) or I pay at most $20-30 as a co-pay. So they basically charged me for each unnecessary part of my triple visit. I then tried to cancel my upcoming appointment. Called three times with no answer during business hours, left messages. Two weeks later I get a phone call from them demanding that I tell them why I was leaving.If you think all of that isnt annoying enough, you also have to pay about $8 for parking (there is no free or validated lot), and on the entire building floor there is ONE key-operated single-occupancy restroom that every single person on that floor uses.I went to another dentist a few months later and it was fantastic. After doing a thorough cleaning and removing all of my tooth stains, she told me I had a tiny cavity that I certainly didnt have to get filled in immediately, so I could wait several months and see where it was at to get that taken care of. She didnt try to push tooth scaling on me and they checked with my insurance before anything was done or recommended to make sure it was covered. There was no copay. THATS HOW DENTISTRY SHOULD WORK.

Over the years I have had solid, high quality dental work & care from Dr. Bieber. He is not trying to milk my mouth for money, & the inlays, crowns & bridge he installed have lasted for years without a problem. He is also a nice fellow to deal with & got me to take my oral care more seriously. The dental hygienists he employs do a good job. I thoroughly recommend him if you are looking for a pleasant dentist who does excellent & long-lasting work.

This was my first time having to find a dentist since I stopped going to the one my parents set up for me as a teenager and I couldnt have picked a better dentist. Everyone in the office is polite and friendly, and they make sure to thoroughly explain the way they do things in their office as well as make sure you fully understand each procedure. Dr. Toomin saved my mouth, my teeth, my smile.I was recommended to his office when I began seeking a new dentist, and what really caught my attention was his promotional strategy: cookies and milk for the whole office.And I thought, “Now that’s a dentist who gets the whole reason why we “NEED’ a dentist in the first place.Now, I usually don’t give credit to SC graduates, as UCLA is written on my diploma, but Dr. Toomin is in a class all his own.He has been my dentist since 2007 and if you were to see the before-after-pictures ( which you won’t) you won’t recognize my teeth.At the time I was suffering from severe gingivitis and was enduring deep cleanings almost ever year, along with the possibility of losing a tooth. The prognoses wasn’t good. And I made things worse by not taking things seriously and stopped going.Months later, I receive a signed letter from him explaining the follies of my ways and the real danger I was in if I didn’t take his diagnosis serious.And this before he became recognized by LA Magazine as one of the best dentists in LA.I finally got on board, became serious, and went through the game plan, which included braces, a splint, altering my routine, and researching the root cause of gingivitis, which too my surprise, is considered an autoimmune disease — the body attacking itself.I am happy to report, the game plan worked, the tooth in question was saved, (no implants) my gingivitis has stabilized, I haven’t had a deep cleaning in 4 years and, most importantly, I now I smile a little wider, a little brighter, a little longer.Thank you Dr. Toomin and Mae, I am a prime example of your miracle work.-Abraham

I was highly recommended by a former client, who used to visit a few years back. Seems the staff might’ve changed quite a bit.I was BLATANTLY LIED TO by a staff member conducting the x-rays. I recently had panoramic ones taken by THEIR recommended oral surgeon nearby about 10 days ago. They told me they could send them to Dr Toomin so it wouldn’t need to be redone. I meet Dr Toomin for the new patient consult (a whole ordeal), and he’s a nice, knowledgeable guy. He agrees we need to not redo panoramic, and tells one of the staff members to have pull it and have ready.After my full standard set of xrays, another staff member instructs to get on the panoramic machine. I explain how Dr Toomin said otherwise and I had another one sent over. She leaves and quickly returns saying we have to redo it. I again ask why, and am explained that the scans they have aren’t good quality to use (this original machine that was used at the oral surgeon was much newer than theirs..). I’m not initially a confrontational person so I presume something happened when it was sent over, and reluctantly redo them, as she leaves the room to avoid UNECESSARY RADIATION EXPOSURE.When I go back to the desk I ask why I had to redo it, and am told they got them, but haven’t even looked at them yet! But that it’s fine because it’s the same price.. At this point I’m pretty livid because no staff member should make up a reason to move the routine actions along. I’m sure the radiation won’t have any noticeable effects but why should anyone trust this type of miscommunication and patient mistrust? Also what the other review said about getting your teeth cleaned, it’s going to take 3 visits which seems silly.TLDR: Doctors are probably knowledgeable but the entire staff has communication issues, and one straight up lied to make their job easier at the expense of my radiation exposure. Also the location isn’t fun to park at.

They are an amazing group of people. Always welcoming . They make you feel like youre part of their little framily. I live in Hawaii and I came back here because they are exceptional at what they do. I love you guys!😃 Keep up the great work.

Friendly and competent front-desk team, caring and thorough hygienists, and Dr. Bieber and Dr. Toomin are both kind and detail-oriented, and are clearly experts in their field. I cannot recommend this office highly enough.

This is the most incredible dentist office I have ever been to. I have been a patient of Dr. Beibers for 17 years, he is amazing and talented in creating a new look for your mouth, plus all other procedures. He and the staff from the front desk to the hygienists are superb. If you are looking for a dentist, run dont walk.

Dr. Toomin has been my dentist for quite some time and the staff and dental care has always been great. The dental hygienists are very thorough and knowledgable. I used to live nearby, but moved to Culver City a couple of years ago and still drive out for my twice a year visits, when I could easily find another place nearby. Im also not sure if they still offer this, but they promised a free cleaning leading up to your wedding, and it worked out perfectly because I had just left my job and wasnt eligible for insurance yet at the new job/wasnt married yet and couldnt be on my husbands insurance, so that was an awesome wedding present in a way. Every experience I have at Toomin & Bieber is fantastic. They have the most professional staff and are very concerned with your needs. I live in west LA and drive past probably hundreds of other dentists, but I would rather be with people I trust and like...LT has been my guy for 28 years now. and Im only 29....M

Great doctor (DMD). Doctor Bieber thoroughly explains step by step procedure and keeping me on the loop all the time. This Clinic gives you the Total Loving Care. Clinics customer service is outstanding.

Dr. Bieber has established an environment where patients feel genuine care from doctors and staff. I came to his office with a lot of frustration of having to change dentists because nobody was able to make me feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Having negative dental experiences from the former soviet union, there was a lot of apprehension around seeing a new dentist. But from the very beginning I could tell this was going to turn out differently this time. Dr. B took the time necessary to understand my history and come up with a comprehensive multi-year treatment plan that I was comfortable with. Aside from his ability to connect with patients, his dental work if impeccable and painless. My apprehension of dentists is gone for the most part thanks to Dr. B and his staff.And as for the hygienist, Natalia is by far my favorite...excellent professional and an absolute pleasure to be around. Even my 6-yo lets her do the cleaning.

This office is wonderful! I have had so many awful dentist experiences prior to moving here, and everyone in this office has made my experiences here so pleasant. They go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and informed about everything, and that all my questions are answered. They take interest in me as a person, and Dr. Toomin personally calls me after my visits to check up and make sure Im doing alright. My last cleaning was done by Natalia, and she was wonderful! Very gentle (I am ultra sensitive), and my teeth felt so much better the next day. Definitely come here if you are nervous about going to the dentist, and they will make you feel right at home!

I tried two other dentists in the area before going to Dr. Toomin, and I can say I have finally found my dentist. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and very thorough. They treat me like a person, not just a patient, and that is something I really appreciate, and something I didnt find at other offices.

Dr. Toomin and Dr. Bieber are the BEST Dentist I have ever been to! Their front office is always kind and really to help with anything that I need regarding scheduling or billing. The hygienist are phenomenal! I have gone to Agnes, Shazi, Anais, and Leti and they’re all great. I have extremely sensitive teeth but they’re always careful and thorough with their cleanings. Dr. Bieber is my personal dentist and he is great! He referred me to ortho and fixed up my cavities with ease. I’m looking forward to getting bonding and permanent solutions once I get my braces off. This is the most comprehensive, friendly, helpful, and thorough office I have ever been to and I recommend everyone here! Thank you Dr. Toomin and Dr. Bieber and team for having such a great office!

I have been a patient of Dr. Biebers for about 20 years, and in all those years, the quality of care, warmth of Dr. Bieber and the staff, and a sense of getting the best treatment has been consistent. In a recent visit that included an oral surgeon, Dr. Bieber stepped in asking questions that I hadnt thought to ask, and is always looking for the best solutions. I wouldnt trust my teeth to anyone else.

From the work they did I am still paying for. I had to pay $500 outright and I have Delta insurance. They tried to get me to do an implant and when I said I wanted a root canal they sent me to their buddy just to tell me the same thing and pay $180. I am now in Colorado and went to a local Comfort Dental. They fixed my teeth within a week. They did my root canal and I get my crown next week. These people are a rip off. They will gut your tooth until you have to go back fo an implant which is just to make more money. I cant say enough bad things about this business.

Ive been Toomin and Bieber patient for a few years now and have at least 10 co-workers that go to them as well. Everyone knows your name when you walk in, they are all pleasant and you get cookies when you leave! They have the new digtial x-rays so no more of that nasty cardboard poking your gums, its quick and easy. Cleanings are fast and shots are practically painless, hes good with the needle. They have the lava crown available, a bit more expensive but looks so nice. (I have 2 now) If you have a bad or dark front tooth, the Lava crown is for you. just save your pennies first. They are there for you in emergencies as well. I was ripped off by my last dentist by his billing people and left him for another who tried to convince me all my teeth were cracked and needed help, then my boss gave me Dr. Biebers name and JOY! Ive had a lot of work done over the past 30 or so years and these guys do good work. Its quality work that will last years if not a lifetime. 03/30/16 update: they also do teeth whitening, snoring splints and hes currently replacing a bridge in my mouth that finally cracked after 26 years.

Had to replace a veneer and the new one matches perfectly. Doctor Toomin and his team are the best!! Especially May, shes amazing!

Where do I begin?May I say that Dr Toomin has been my dentist for over 20 years. He is handsome, and funny. However when it comes to dentistry he is a no nonsense professional. After I retired from the LAUSD I lived in Palmdale and didnt want to drive to his office any longer. I went to several other dentist and quickly realized they were second rate compared to Dr Toomin. I had to return. My husband and I recommend him to everyone. May I say that Mrs. Mae his R.D.A. is the best. With her you are in Good hands. I come from a history of dental problems and bad dentist experiences and was rather nervous about finding a dentist in the area when I arrived years ago. Off of a recommendation I decide to give Dr. Bieber shot and have never looked back. Its one of the GREATEST decision that I have never regretted. Dr. Bieber patiently listened to my troubled dental past and has kept it in mind when any issue has arrived. He and ALL of his staff make you feel so welcomed and comfortable whether you are there for a cleaning or an invasive dental procedure. I cant brag enough about Dr. Bieber and his staff. Dr. Toomin and Mae did a great job replacing one cracked and one broken molar. My new crowns look great and fit/feel just like my original teeth. Toomin and Biebers office is so focused on the very best dental practices and I can see where they are working to improve each patients teeth and experiences both during their appointment and after.I can certainly see why they are listed in Best Dentists in California and it is well deserved.
