I had my first session this week with Jon. The body analysis was very interesting and informative. The work out was amazing and I felt amazing when I left our session. I felt like I had been stretched and loosened up like I just received a massage and a good soak in a hot tub. I’ve been under a good amount of stress and it was all left on the workout room floor. FINALLY I have a place to tone up and lose fat that doesnt take up all of my time or make me exhausted. I am not a go to the gym kind of person but the intimacy of the one-on-one trainer experience at the Strength Code is awesome. I feel 100% supported by my amazing trainer, Wendy, who understands my body and has actually helped reduce my back pain since working out with her. Ive also worked with Sheila who is awesome. My husband works out with Ann. The entire team of trainers are the most professional, attentive and supportive group of people. AND its only once a week (or twice if youre super motivated). If you hate working out but want to tone up and slim down this is your place.
Thanks to a dear friend I discovered this exhilarating gym at age 75 and became hooked. Now at 77 I feel younger and stronger than in my entire life. My drive there is longer than my work out. I walk out feeling like Hercules. You owe it to yourself for both your physical and mental well being to give it a try. Ann is a great task master and I love being pushed to my limit. Grab a slot with her and if shes booked you will be lucky with anyone there. Pure dynamite one and all.
Sheila is awesome!! I love their once a week work out to build strength, all guided by a trainer (every time) to ensure safety and results. Its a challenging work out, but an easy system with proven results...you wont be disappointed!
Equipment is top notch and the trainers ( ours is Jonathan B) are excellent. This is a unique form of weight training that lasts just 30 minutes but the benefit is better than a full hour of a typical weight training session.
I love the workouts. My trainer encourages me the entire time so l can get the job done. Cant wait to get back.
This is by far the best workout I have ever done. Dont be fooled, this workout is extremely challenging for only being 20 minutes and it will get you stronger if you stay consistent. The entire staff is so friendly and knowledgeable - they really treat you like family. Try it once and you will be hooked for life!

This is an excellent program for building strength in a relatively short time. Just 20 minutes a week does the trick. The staff here are really friendly and very attentive to individual needs. Fitness was never so achievable.
Joe is absolutely amazing. He is extremely professional and always made me feel welcomed and comfortable with my environment. He constantly reminded me of my goals while in the middle of my workouts to motivate me to push myself further, and it always worked. I got to take six classes with Joe and felt as though I could see results after the second, especially in my legs and back. I would recommend trying it out, even if its just once, to experience what your own body is capable of. Youll be pleasantly surprised.
I was a bit skeptical at first when my wife told me she had found a new gym she wanted us to try. When I think gym I think of a crowded smelly place where people go to pick up on each other. InForm Fitness was definitely not that!Its clean, quiet, and very welcoming. I have a weekly 1 on 1 session with my trainer Joe who is very friendly and knowledgeable. In fact the entire staff are very nice people with a passion for fitness.Ive been going for almost a year now and have noticed Im much stronger, have more endurance/stamina and feel much more fit overall. I would definitely recommend InForm Fitness Toluca Lake to those who want a great personalized fitness routine without the typical gym atmosphere.

I loved the workout. Sheila was my trainer and she was excellent at explaining the routine and how the exercises worked. I could feel my targeted muscles working on a deep core level. I left energized and wanting more. I also had a great nights sleep, as Sheila said that I would!

Inform Fitness and the Power of 10 workout has challenged and changed the way I workout forever! I have been working out at the Toluca Lake studio for almost two years now and have seen my body transform into a stronger, more toned version of my former self! And I love it! I have been dreaming of a workout like this. I have had a lot of neck pain and I knew it was due to lack of core strength. I wanted a workout that would help me get deep into my core and free my neck. I did my first workout yesterday with Jon. It released 80% of my neck pain. This workout seems to me to be essential, before any other exercise, this practice gives the body the essential balance and strength. I completely understand the principle behind theses movements and that a once a week workout is perfect for the muscles to complete their job but, I have to say, I would love to do it more because, it feels so good. Cant wait for my next session. Pure genius. I would and I am sharing the exciting news about Inform with everyone. Honestly, I cant say enough!!👍🏻Thank you, Linda Kammins
This place is great. They get you stronger in twenty minutes a week. It works Jon was so calming during the sessions that I didnt realize how hard I had worked until I left each time.
Jon is super attentive and knowledgeable. He manages to monitor every rep, push me as much as possible, create modifications whenever necessary and educate me along the way.

I LOVE InForm Fitness. Ive been doing slow motion strength training for the past 7 years and when I moved to LA I was nervous I wouldnt find a gym I liked as much as the one in Chicago, I was pleasantly surprised. This is by far my favorite gym!! The trainers are fantastic! They are passionate about fitness, extremely knowledgeable, and fun! My trainer, Joseph Altamirano, always encourages me with comparisons to Katniss Everdeen and Michelle Rodrigues. I am a very thin girl and it feels amazing to be so strong!! I have trouble lifting at regular (non-slow) gyms because I am so small. But at InForm, all the machienes have seat belts and are adjusted to your body to correctly target the muscles being worked. I absolutely recommend this gym to anyone looking to loose fat and build muscle.
I dont live in Los Angeles but while visiting recently I had the opportunity to stop by InForm Fitness Toluca Lake and be brought through a workout under the guidance of Sheila and Ann. I was familiar with the Power of 10 concept - strength training in very slow motion - and had actually been practicing it on my own at home with free weights. So I was excited to get into a real gym studio and go through the workout on the amazing equipment and under the expert guidance of a personal trainer. So what was it like? The most appropriate words are things like OMG and holy ****.The workout is billed as a 20 minute, once-a-week program. But think about it. If that is going to really work it better be some workout. And it is. I have been lifting weights for many years in the traditional manner and like I said been attempting to practice Power of 10 on my own. But I have NEVER experienced anything like this and you are going to find out pretty quickly that you never have either. Traditional weight training dogma says workout and then rest for at least 48 hours before the next one to allow your muscles time to recover and grow stronger. This one says workout and then rest for a week . . . and you are going to find out somewhere about 30-60 in to the first machine that you are going to need that. And once you have gone through the whole workout - total body - you are just going to know that your body has never experienced anything like it. Never have I felt my muscles worked so deeply, but as the promotions say, also so efficiently. 20 minutes, once-a-week, its true. But thats not because it is the skimpiest workout youve ever done in your life, its because it is the deepest and most effective for building muscle possible. Whats more, enough cannot be said about the high-end equipment. Designed to work with the natural movements of your body, and reduce the stress on joints to essentially nothing . . . you can just feel how effectively only your muscles are targeted and worked and you will not be icing joints or swelling, etc. Youll be saying, OMG what an amazing workout. Enough also cannot be said about the trainers. I knew they were paying attention to my every movement the entire time and making sure I was getting the absolute most out of it and staying safe. You simply will not get this kind of a workout, this level of training equipment and this level of attention anywhere else. My only complaint is that I cannot come back every week since there is not an InForm Fitness in my area (Las Vegas). So if you live in LA, or somehwere like Burbank, West Hollywod, etc. that is close by, do yourself and your body a favor and take advantage. This place is truly amazing and really will change your life and the way you think about exercise, no matter who you are, how old, how youn or your level of training experience.
