Frys is gone forever. How sad. I have great memories shopping in this store and also enjoying all the great decor, which is themed after an alien spacecraft having crashed into the building, with giant ants roaming inside the store, and Army units dispatched to meet the threat. I am many thousands of people will miss this store.

I used to love Frys Electronics. Huge product selection and amazing staff. However, the years have not been friendly to Frys and they are on their last breath. This was the location I knew I had to visit before they go out of business as its a 1950s sci-fi theme. The place was pretty much dead and it was Black Friday. The place should have been packed. Very little selection of product and goods. Staff was almost falling asleep. So why am I giving this place three stars? I just loved the layout. Its more of a museum at this point than a retail store. So many cool designs from the giant ants to the giant squid monster. Its pretty awesome. I knew I wouldnt be able to live with myself if I didnt visit this spot.If youre coming here for shopping, then good luck finding what you need. However, if youre coming here as a 1950s sci-fi fan, then you will love it. Take the pictures and sights while you can.

Went in there to get a couple things. They had plenty of options and very good prices. I was especially surprised at how cheap the school supplies were. They have a variety of different things from pens and paper to full computer furniture. They had car audio equipment and gaming from the latest consoles. All wrapped up in an alien takeover theme that makes the trip even more enjoyable.

Nice employees, had what I needed. First time going and enjoyed their creative displays. Only issue I had was trying to find stuff without asking for help. Also didnt see any price scanners, those would be nice there. The employees went above and beyond helping me when I had a medical problem there. Its an old injury, so nothing caused by them.. though they made sure I was okay.

Frys is a well stocked store for the computer enthusiast, or anyone that is looking for tech. They also carry appliances as well, and have a nice 50s style cafe complete with some 50s cars.I have been in other Frys before, but really enjoyed the Alien Invasion theme, right down to Gort standing in the isle once you enter the store. If you enjoy stuff like that, you will enjoy walking around in the store..

As a tourist attraction, this place is an entertaining stop, with giant aliens and dioramas all over the store. As a store, let alone an electronics store, it is a complete failure. There is little to no organization to the stores layout, as sections are mixed and matched and youll find unrelated products mixed together in a hodgepodge fashion on shelves. And the aisle labels? Completely useless and inaccurate. We asked a staff member to help us find an external Blu-ray player. He looked at us confused, got on the radio to ask his team, and said they were out of stock. So we asked where their internal Blu-ray players were for building PCs. We dont have anything like that was his response. A Frys that doesnt carry components to build a PC?? Thinking he didnt know what he was talking about, we wandered around the store aimlessly trying to follow signs for PC components. There was no dedicated section, and all we seemed to be able to find after about a half an hour were PC cases spread around various sections, some power supplies, and here and there some networking gear. And cables for anything and everything spread across half of the aisles. They also had a technology demo room setup as a theater and showing the movie Solo, yet the sound system was mucked up, with one side of the audio half a second behind the other side... Not an encouraging tech demo. All in all, as a Frys in particular and a computer/electronics store in general, this place fails and needs competent management to give it a complete functional makeover.

Use to love this store when it first open, but online sales has really take a toll on it. They seem to be moving away from electronics. I was walking down one the old software aisles and it was lined with perfume. They never took the time to change the signs. For example. The now only have a small section for software but they still keep all the old signs up. They have multiple aisles labeled software that contains other things like perfume, or drones which can be very confusing. The one thing that hasnt changed, the amount of time it takes to check out. Like every other Frys, they built huge number of registers, about 40+, only open handful are ever opened.Update: The place is now a ghost town. The shelves are empty. What they do carry are off brands you have never heard of. The real odd thing the only section that is fully stocked is makeup and perfume section but the check out. Who goes to an electronic store for cosmetics? 😕

The once hangout of electronic geeks everywhere is a shadow of its former self. What used to be rows and rows of aisles with all sorts of great stuff including everything you would need to build your own computer now sits half empty as products have consolidated to mean less electronics for sale. The iPhone has replaced alarm clocks, home telephones, pocket calendars, stereos, cameras and movie cameras. The kitschy Frys store themes were always part of the fun. Theres no way the current business is sustainable. The huge big box retail and parking lot footprint makes each location ripe for development. Expect a huge apartment complex on this spot in 24 months. Shop now before its gone.

Such a depressing place. Once better known for its haphazard customer service with sales folks who just stand around doing nothing, now the store looks like a ghost town with a empty parking lot on a Saturday afternoon and a more dismal looking sales floor with bare shelves. Prices are still not competitive and the service a bit underwhelming. I would not be surprised if they are out of business soon. This is such a shame. They have such potential with using this space for warehousing and a product show room to support online sales.

Frys used to be the one stop shop for all your electronics needs, but today it is unrecognizable from its past glory days. Worst customer service ever every time I come here the employees have an attitude and forget that they are in the customer service business. Today I had a run in with the store manager Cesar and right off the bat his tone and body language just showed that he could care less about taking care of what I was searching for and he had something better to do. This location seems to be struggling and I can see why I think the store manager always sets the tone for how his business is ran and the work environment. I’ve always liked this store’s setup and would like to come here more often however after dealing with attitude every time I’ll rather take a drive and head over to their Woodland Hills location the employees are more well trained and the environment is completely different.

I looked at Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, ect...well they dont actually keep these things in stock and it can take a week or two to receive it. Then I went the the Frys website, found the same stove I wanted, for the same price as everyone else and guess what...I can pick it up the next day, which for me was less the 10 hours from the time I purchased it online. I love going to Frys, and this store is large enough that youre not stepping over each other to get what you want. However, it seems their electronics department has changed quite a bit, and dont carry as much anymore. Not sure what happened with the little misc things, and refurbished items, such as cameras, and corresponding items they use to sell. But they do still have EVERYTHING else! And they have great deals, gotta look on their website, or wall next to the Returns when you walk in the door to the right, to see everything on sale for the week. I picked up my Label Maker for about $14 on sale (Amazon took my money and had no stock for a month), they normally cost $39.99! Downfall... The line can get long sometimes, and you MUST complain for them to do something about it, or they will let you stand there for a long time! I took a video, and you can hear other patrons upset about the long line, and wait, while being ignored by the manager, until she sees me recording her! We all forced her to get more lines open, and everything went smoothly after. Also, the people that shop here, are very friendly, I have spent more time in the store, just chatting, and sharing info with perfect strangers 😜

Once a store with tons of stuff, lots of people, and parking lot full, now reduce to very few stuff in there, less staff, and almost empty parking lot. What I have read, Frys is suffering because of covid and competition from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.Is it still a good store to go to?Im going to say yes because they still sell stuff that you may not be able to get in the stores. For example, Costco had a good deal on ebike and e-scooters. They had in the store but now only could be found on their website. But if you go to Frys, they have it for you to pick up for the same price. If you doing construction at home and need add a portable A/C, they also have it for sale to pick up and install in your home in the winter season.Even though the store is now in a sad state, even half of the lights is off in their store, you may still find what you need that you can not find in other stores.Bring a camera too, they still have all cool store decorations still in place there.
