We are really excited to join Bodyplex Fitness!!! Staff and team members are so friendly and helpful!! My husband and I completed two exercise classes this morning; 9:45 Body Pump and 10:45 Body Attack. Thank you! Both classes were really fun with Chase and Lauren. Can’t wait to to come back tomorrow. This is an amazing gym. It is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and has a lot of room to get a workout in. They are also functional fitness friendly which is rare for a gym like this. Great gym!

This was my first ever gym where I got a membership, and I gotta say that this place is amazing. The service is friendly overall, and it feels like you have a community in the gym when you’re a regular. They have great trainers, and I’m so blessed to have spent 9 months here before I leave for college! They’re by no means a powerlifting or bodybuilding gym, but if you want to begin your fitness journey in a welcoming and clean environment, there is no better place in the Hamilton Mill area than this!

Greg is an awesome team member so friendly and knowledgeable. Annie is an instructor there and is amazing at pumping you up and inspiring you. We have a home gym but I still choose to go there for the friendly environment and people.

The staff is amazing. Greg, Michelle, Sylvia, Julianna, and Jodi are sweethearts and WORK YOU OUT! The classes are fun to go to, and there are a variety of machines to use. Would recommend for anyone whos never been to a gym. The classes are free and makes the gym less frightening

I moved to GA mid covid, BODYPLEX was the first gym to bring back childcare so I immediately signed up to get back in the gym. I’m so GLAD I joined. This place is like one big family but with high quality equipment and super friendly staff. My kids love going to the kidsplex too which is a huge perk. I’ve met some amazing people here and the atmosphere is always motivating. 🙌🏼 If you’re looking to switch gyms this is your spot.

Best gym in the area! Open with plenty of room to workout and clean! The staff is great and they know everyone by name. The early mornings are usually busy, but if you can get in during the off hours it’s awesome!!!

BODYPLEX Hamilton Mill has been my home gym since it opened its doors. They cater to every fitness level and are always willing to help. The gym is super clean and well taken care of. I drive 30 minutes out of the way just to come to this particular gym, that’s how great it is!

BodyPlex has a great staff! They’ve kept me motivated and have challenged me to do better. I’ve also enjoyed meeting new people in the group fitness classes.

Great place to workout!

I love coming here! No matter how busy it is, there’s always plenty of equipment available and the classes are fun to take part in. The trainers who work here really take time out to talk to you on your goals and how to reach them, even if you’re just meeting them for a free consultation. They care about your well-being and you’re surrounded by others who are also pushing to be/look their best.

This is a MAJOR evolution over the old Buford Bodyplex in every imaginable way. The staff is friendly, courteous and genuine. The equipment is new and the facility is always clean. Cant ask for anymore. Thank you all for being open during this pandemic!

The atmosphere is great! Staff is friendly and helpful. The club itself has a lot to offer when it comes to training (spinning classes, free weights, cross-training sections upstairs and downstairs, sleds, ropes, machines, etc.). I love that they have Les Mills classes with the membership AND the option to join the GRIND Cross-training and use the heart monitors for that team training feeling. Everyone is nice, motivating, and uplifting. Id recommend this gym to anyone.

BodyPlex has been in my life for a long time. I have always felt comfortable at these facilities. You can ask anyone for help! They never give you the look of ”I have better things to do.” You dont find customer service like this anymore. They treat others how they would like to be treated.Thank you, Bodyplex Hamilton, Mill

Good gym. Good trainers. Clean, well maintained. Busy around 6 on weeknights, but not overly crowded.

Gym that complains every time you do Olympic lifts upstairs even though they put the equipment up there to do them (bumper plates). Theyre more concerned about disturbing the kids in their little daycare then the people paying membership dues every month. I would gladly do my lifts elsewhere if they ever provided the space. The grind room is always being used and the other platform is rarely open. If you want to do deadlifts, cleans, or snatches dont come here.

If your Asian or an immigrant forget this gym, some members here will quickly remind you that either we dont exist or they are supreme beings and they own the equipment.. I am most definitely moving to another gym as soon as my contract runs outNo fault of the gym operators, staff is friendly.. Irony to this plight is that one of the gym owners is an immigrant and from my country.

Tremendous facility! All the basics, high intensity classes with the staff trainers, and and the guys at the front desk are super helpful. Been there since they opened - no doubt, best gym in the area.

I am the largest size I have ever been, multiple chronic health issues, a total amateur, walked in there and felt totally comfortable immediately. The equipment is nice and the staff friendly as well as helpful. Look forward to learning how to use more of the equipment to further my weight loss journey. Glad I took the plunge!

I enjoy coming here with my daughter. It doesnt feel intimidating and were comfortable with the equipment. I like the separation of the different areas. Its also maintained clean.

Nice gym, BUT... We’re very hesitant to bring my child back to the kidsplex at this gym. It seems every time, without fail, my child is sick the following days. We’ve witnessed staff allow my child to put another’s pacifier in their mouth and gave us the wrong sippy cup to take home. It does not seem like the area is sanitized, much like you’d expect the workout equipment to be. Children who exhibit symptoms of being sick should not be allowed to stay. When signed up, we were told staff would notify us if there is a dirty diaper. This has not happened. Almost half of the time my child has been picked up dirty.

Never have I ever been so insulted. My daughter informed us that she was put on timeout and when we called to inquire about it, we were told, “How dare you believe a 3 year old.” “You should ask what happened before you make an accusation.” Kelly Claxton is very rude and condescending and even told my husband and I how to parent.When my husband says he wants to speak to the owner she said she will do so with the police present, insinuating volatile behavior.I have been a member for years and to treat me this way is unacceptable. Cleve, I am disrespected and disappointed that you would allow this reprehensible behavior.

My husband and I have been to many fitness facilities in the USA as well as out of the country over the years and we are very picky when it comes to overall cleanliness and member care. As a current business owner and past spa owner for many years, I know what to look for when it comes to customer service and a facility being clean and BodyPlex has both.We have been coming to BodyPlex for a little over six months and were very picky in scouting out the right gym because we were bringing out 2 boys along with us to be cared for while we worked out. Joining BodyPlex was a great decision! everyone who works there is very friendly and most important to us the KidsPlex is just awesome and so clean! Every time I bring my boys into KidsPlex, I always see someone cleaning the toys or wiping down the tables. Our kids have such a great time every time and each and every person who watches the kids is more like a mother-grandmother figure and will watch your kids with their undivided attention. The staff here makes the experience. My son adores them! They care to engage and I appreciate the kindness and support. The classes and instructors are AWESOME! Pam and Sharon in Kids Plex make you feel like your mom and grandma are watching your children and you have nothing to worry about. The kids area is always spotless and the staff is extremely attentive. Date night is the greatest thing since sliced bread! Im so thankful to be a part of the Body Plex family. Im a better, stronger person for my time here. Now up to 5x/wk.. my day isnt the same if it doesnt start here!

Great gym to be a part of. Very new facility so things were still clean and kept up with. Just a tad on the expensive side for being out in the suburbs. But you get a lot of options (free weights, classes, cardio, agility/plyometric training areas) so it’s a give and take.

The gym facility is pretty nice, however the manager, Kelly Claxton, is by far the most unprofessional person I have encountered in a “management” position.  She is rude, strangely sarcastic (at inappropriate times), and downright dishonest when put on the spot.  The communication between her and staff members is incredibly poor; this is most obvious when you are given conflicting answers for common questions that can’t seem to be answered in a consistent fashion.  When confronted, Ms. Claxton attempts to intimidate the customer with her rude attitude.  This gym could flourish, with more members and better customer service, without Ms. Claxton present.  I terminated my membership because of my experience here.

I wish they had more Zumba classes. Overall its good and they have nice modern equipment.

Friendly and a lot of workout equipment everything you need in one spot

We joined Bodyplex shortly after we moved to Hamilton Mill---the club itself is a good club. They have some great people working there on the training staff and they were really helpful to us. We enjoyed some workouts there, but life took a turn putting us out in Texas. We submitted our notice to cancel on November 4th in person, and left on November 12th. We were aware of the fact that wed have one more billing, but instead the cancellation never got put in. We were billed multiple times following our cancellation. We called to notify the club of the mistake, and spoke with the club manager at the time. This was December 27th, 2018. I was reassured by the Club Manager that they would refund me the two charges, and that I would see the refund within 7 to 10 business days. I did not see the refund so I called back, and was told that the manager I spoke with no longer worked there. I was told I that the new manager would look into my situation and call me back. I waited another week, and called back in. The same thing happened. I got told someone would be back in touch with me. It took almost a month when I got a call from someone who found a sticky note with my name on it, and figured shed reach out to see what the note was about. I explained my situation for the 4th time, but this time I was told that no refund would be given. That there was a clause stating that if membership was cancelled for any reason within 6 months a fee would be applied. They stated that regardless of what was told to me by Club Management I was essentially stuck. The kind woman did tell me shed speak with the owner of the club, and call me back to see what could be done. I never got that call back which was a bit frustrating. I dont leave negative reviews, but in this situation I was expecting a business to deliver on what they said. I was expecting for them to acknowledge that since they do NOT have locations in Texas, and can no longer deliver services the would honor my cancellation without issue. I was also expecting for them to do the right thing by refunding the money taken when the Club Manager promised to do so without issue. This location has great equipment, it is clean for the most part, it has some really good trainers, and in a good location. I would encourage you to join this location if you dont see life changing on you over the course of a year, but as we all know life is unpredictable. I had to move to Texas which wasnt cheap by any means, and these unexpected charges didnt help.Im still hoping that the Owner and current Club Manager decide to do the right thing morally, and refund the charges. I will update this post should they do so.

Can get pretty busy at the weights section, but it never stopped us from working out! Try not to go during peak hours.

Clean friendly environment, not crowded and plenty of equiptment! Bathrooms and showers are very nice! 100% privacy and the lockers hwve unique locks. Split level so all the cardio machines are upstaires along with the cycling room and the weights are all downstaires. Good variety of weights and mwchines for every group of muscles! Would recommend. The child care room is nice too spacious and lots of actuvities for the kids to do.

I have been here for 3 weeks now. For the money its fantastic. It has a huge open area, free weights (dumbells ip to 150 lbs), exercise machines of all kinds, squat racks, cardio bikes, treadmills, stair climbers, and much more.All the cardio equipment has its own lcd screen equiped with an input for head phones. Also, each screen allows you to watch local tv, YouTube, Netflix, or stream music.There are large seperate areas for training, cardio classes, personal training sessions and more. They offer a locker room for the members. Each locker has a programmable lock, so you never need to bring your own.The staff has been excellent so far.There is no pool, no sauna, no punching bags, but this place is hard to beat.

Love the openness of the gym, however they do not have a lot of machines that other gyms have. Such as rogue, landmines, roman chair, and glute kickback, machines that I consider a staple. There showers are nice but they are pretty dirty, I would never be barefoot in them! It seems like all bodyplex showers are this way. I also feel like the construction of this place was very rushed. There are little mistakes everywhere such as most of the faucets not working properly. I feel as though this place has been way overhyped.

This review is solely for Tatianas Zumba classes, Friday @ 5:45pm and Saturday @12pm. Ive taken classes with other Zumba instructors, and none of them hold a candle to Tati !!! Her choice is music is very comprehensive, fun, and true to Zumbas Latino roots. She blends many styles of dance into one session, whether it be salsa, merengues, hip hop, pop, ect and gets us sweating! Her positive energy is contagious and encourages you to have a great time while completing a great workout. 11/10 class and Zumba instructor !!!!

Facility is ok. I needed to cancel because I moved 3hrs away. They said there was a $100 cancellation fee. No problem. I sent my new lease for my condo to them (notarized). 2 months later still paying monthly fees and they are charging me $75 for an annual fee. Front desk person who says she handles all cancellation was rude, not helpful, and said that I would be turned into collections if I turned the claim into my bank. Im a VP at the bank so I told her the info she was providing was wrong and that I would be turned into collections anyways. Im a pro bodybuilder as well and have lots of connections throughout Atlanta and the industry. If this is how they treat there cliental when they follow the process of cancellation so be it. My 60k followers on IG will here about it. My sponsors here in Atl will here about it. Everyone I can tell about this gym and the awful experience and ZERO help will hear about it. There are so many other choices and companies that can/will handle this so much better than this organization. I hate the fact that one person like this individual can ruin something good for a small center. Who ever reads this from BP please help this person get some customer experience training. Not once did she offer an alternative solution. Not once did she apologize for the mistake of her organization. In fact, she did the opposite and said I was wrong in all counts of the situation. BE AWARE OF THIS GYM.
