I had a wonderful experience with DentFirst today. From the moment I walked into the facility there was a sense of calm from the front desk to the hygienist. My hygienist was extremely patient and gentle with me. She understood my anxiety and she took her time to comfort me throughout the entire process. I am so glad I found them. Been using Dent First several years now and service when I go is awesome - I travel about 60 miles one way. My Dentist is great and I actually dont mind going to the dentist now - never have to wait. My only concern is a misunderstanding or miscommunication between their billing department and my dental insurance company - seems like adjustments always have to be made after service is done.Thankful for the good and friendly service,Ron

My family and I have been going to Dent 1st for many years now. Danica Atkinson is our hygienist. Shes thorough, shows concern for her patients, and does great job caring for our teeth!

It was really disappointing to schedule an appointment, wait for months and when I get there I was left waiting for 30 minutes without any explanation. I had to go and ask to hear “oh just give us a few minutes and we’ll call you...” as if it was normal. Totally disrespectful with people’s time.

Julie is absolutely amazing. I started coming to this location about 3 years ago because is was close to home. I’ve been to other locations, but this one is by far the best. I look forward to my visits every year.

This is one of the friendliest offices I have ever visited. Every member of the staff treats you with respect and thoroughly explain everything they are doing and what to expect for future visits. They are upfront about costs before your visit so you are never blindsided by unexpected charges.My oral hygiene hasnt always been the best and they have never shamed me, but have actively helped me get it into much better condition.The front desk is very informative and polite. I have never had any issues here and highly recommend them to anyone.

My fiancée went here to get root canal services done. She got an estimate of services that would be necessary for her tooth days before. This did NOT include an estimate for the actual root canal service itself. We were under the impression that the estimate would show the entire prices for ALL services needed. Therefore after paying an additional 457.40 for a service that was supposed to be listed now caused us to pay more than what was expected. Very disappointing and dissatisfied. I don’t know if this was an issue with explaining to us or training but I will no longer be doing any business with DentFirst anymore!

I truly had a pleasant experience with Josie during my last cleaning visit. She is very personable and professional in performing her duties.

Absolute waste of time. Was strung all for 3 weeks in an effort to preauthorize services and confirm DentFirst was in network with my provider. After given the green light, it took over a week to make an appointment. The next day, received a call saying I was not in network and I would have to come out of pocket for services. Extremely unprofessional. Dont waste your time.

Josie was amazing. She made my experience one of a kind; very engaging and informative. My teeth feel great and I am a happy customer. She even recommended a coding camp for my son. And since Ive been able to see the same hygienist since I was 8, I know that Josie really knows my history and I trust her to advise me in dental matters 100%. The worst experience ever. This was my daughters first time going to this office. She had a appointment at 12:00 pm. My daughter calls me at 1:36 to tell me that she had to wait another 20 minutes because they forgot she was there and now everyone was on lunch. I dont understand how you forget a patient is there in the waiting room. We picked this office because it was closer to our home. Me and my family will not be going to this location again. I have went to other Dent1st and had excellent service but this was a very bad first impression for this office. Please if you go make sure they dont forget your waiting to get service.

I went to this office for a crown that fell off. They scheduled me the next morning and got a temp on the tooth. There was an issue with lab and they went out of their way to get it resolved. Ended up getting the crown on early. Everyone is exceptionally nice, polite and professional. The office manager and dental assistants are truly exceptional. No wonder they have such great reviews, they earn it!!

I have been at this location a few times now and they’re always friendly and helpful. Never had a long wait. Dentist and hygienist are thorough. Best takeaway for me was that I asked for teeth whitening recommendations and they didn’t try to upsell me their most expensive treatment and recommended the cheaper and equally effective option.

Hadn’t been in 8 years, Dr Amari was great, Julie, Nicki, Tiffany, were all extremely helpful and kind. Can’t wait to be back in 6 months since I signed up for the Prime Membership.

Ive been going to DentFirst for the past 5 years. I love that they offer extended hours, working downtown, the commute can be pretty brutal trying to get back to Buford. Having a cleaning at 7:15pm is awesome!!! They always have great customer service and even offer a self-service portal to help manage appointments and review your billing!!!

Dr. Masek is the BEST of the BEST! He’s funny, always in a good mood, and makes the visit as relaxing as possible. One of the biggest bonuses is his technique of administrating numbing shots is literally painless! If your looking for a dentist with a dental group you can trust, look no further!

It has been way too long since I had my teeth cleaned. I assumed that it would be a long procedure but they were great. The office is clean and the staff is awesome. They let you know costs and details up front which is something that I appreciate. I will now get back on the every 6 month routine thanks to them.

Read a few great reviews for this place on both yelp and google and because I was having a significant amount of dental pain on a Friday, I figured I better get it addressed before the weekend. Due to the COVID19 concerns, I had already been delaying seeing a dentist about my tooth for some time. The staff was helpful and able to get me an appt the same day. No long wait once I arrived. Now having a history of dental work and a previous abscessed tooth I kinda already new what I would be needing, Xrays, antibiotic and a pain med to get me through the weekend until I could be seen by an Endodontist for a root canal and yep I was correct. Except I was given prescription ibuprofen for pain. Now I had already been taking OTC Motrin and Tylenol around the clock prior to appt. And it was no longer effective. Which was the main reason I decided to make an urgent appt.... I knew I needed an antibiotic to help prevent an dental abscess but I also needed something stronger to help with pain relief until the antibiotic could kick in and/ or until I was seen by the Endodontist. Anyways I took both prescription in hope that I would find some relief. I started the antibiotics immediately and continued the ibuprofen. Now if you ever had any real dental pain... I mean the kind that makes you want to pull your own tooth out with pliers then you understand what I mean when I say ibuprofen gave me no relief. So I suffered through another sleepless night of tooth pain. Saturday I gave dental first a call explaining that my pain was is still quite significant... I was unable to eat, sleep,... pain radiating through my jaw. I explained it has been diagnosed as an abscessed tooth and I have started the PCN with no relief. No Endodontist until Monday. I asked ( which as a medical provider myself I feel was an appropriate request) for a stronger pain med. The receptionist was kind and stated that she would talk with Dr. Amiri..... welp I got denied. I was told there was nothing to else she could do for my pain management and that I had to wait until the antibiotics works which could take up to 36 hrs.So first of all that’s BS, being able to take care of my pain is one of the top priorities in emergent dental care outside stop any spread of infection. I had a dental abscess many years back and was given proper pain management at the time. So I know that she could provide more relief when it comes to pain management.I understand that maybe they get people seeking pain meds all the time but you have a X-ray visual of my tooth that has an abscess so you know I am not making my complaint of pain up.So I won’t be going back to this office for a crown once my root canal is done. If they can’t properly assess a patient’s pain and treat appropriately, especially on a Friday going into the weekend when the patient has a visible abscess, antibiotic don’t help with pain until 36hrs ( if at all) and Endodontist aren’t open until Monday.And maybe not all their providers choose to practice medicine this way but for some reason Dr. Amiri does. I’ve have work with many great doctors in my career so I don’t go about criticizing a doctor’s work lightly. But now I am spending my weekend in terrible pain and unable to eat soooo yeah.

I specifically asked if there was any balance left to pay and was told No. until I got a call from a collection agency that is extremely rude and harasses who they are calling.Avoid the office unless they can guarantee in writing what you are going to pay beforehand.

Dr. Henry Masek is a wonderful dentist! Ive used him as well as Dent1st for 10 years or more. The staff is gracious and professional. There are plenty of dentist, but I chose Dent1st for the warm family atmosphere, delightful customer service, and Dr. Henry Masek, who always has time to care.

The receptionists are very friendly and call you several days in advance so you don’t forget your appointment! The dental hygienists are very nice as well. They made my first time back at the dentist very comforting.

Dentfirst is always on time. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. I was assigned to Julie today because my regular hygienist moved. Julie was fast and efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, which was perfect! I’ve gone to Dentfirst for years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. There is no nickel and diming there either . They are always open and honest, so that you know exactly what to expect.
