The heating element in my dryer went out and EMT sent an amazing specialist named Victor over to fix it NEXT day. He also took the extra time to replace the part, clean the dryer vent, every ounce of lint from the interior of the dryer, and he finally reset the vent and cleaned out any additional debris to the outside escape port. All done within 90 min or so. Price was as one would expect for such a quick and professional job, and I was happy to pay it! Highly recommended!!!!(before and after shots included)

If you just want to know if your refrigerator is beautiful or ugly, its $47! If you want to diagnose whether the compressor of your refrigerator has freon or whether it is faulty. You need to pay an extra hour of labor diagnosis fee to install a valve. That valve is only worth 5 dollars.But the repair staff are very good, but the company’s pricing is too disappointing

This was second time using Appliance EMT and I intend to stay a loyal customer! A couple of years ago a very kind young man came to repair my dryer and he was very knowledgeable and he is reason I called back. This time I needed repairs to my dishwasher and refrigerator ice maker. Again, I was left very satisfied with their punctuality, professionalism and knowledge! Oh, did I mention that I have Maytag appliances and I think we all know their service is top-notch, but I wanted to support a smaller business and was very pleased with the results!

Bobbie came in and diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator within five minutes. He needed to defrost the freezer and put in a new defrost unit and just as he started the power went out so he had to do this all by hand mopping up with towels etc. He was done in about 45 minutes and cleaned everything as he went along. He did a great job and the refrigerator is perfect again! Very friendly and knowledgeable and we would use him again for sure.

Refrigerator was not cooling. Called around 8pm and had William the technician here at 3:30 the next day. Problem was diagnosed quickly, price was based off of a book that he had. All in all a good experience. Ended up being more expensive than if we had gone through our home warranty, but considering they usually take 2-3 days, costs of losing everything in our fridge, probably about the same as it would’ve been to replace the stuff.

I recommend this company to all of my friends. We first had a washing machine that broke on two separate occasions (last year) and Paul came out to fix it both times. He was always super nice, super friendly, very knowledgeable and always able to come on the same day to help us with our washer. I called Saturday evening and needed a repair of my refrigerator/freezer. I spoke to Bobby and he said he would come Monday between 2 ad 5PM. he was here at 4PM. Bobby was very professional and knowledgeable and knew right away what the issue was. I would use Appliance EMT in a heart beat.

Third time I had to use Bobbys services, unfortunately, however each time Bobby was knowledgeable about the issue that I was facing. I was first introduced to Appliance EMT when they dispatched to address a warranty issue for my then new LG Dryer. They were very nice and professional. I was so impressed, I called them directly to address my ice maker (Samsung) freezer that was out of warranty. The ApplianceEMT Team is very nice, courteous and take great care to treat you and your home like they would their own family. Their prices are very fair. I will only call ApplianceEMT for any future needs, even if I need to wait an extra day or so.

Called Appliance EMT after coming home from vacation and my refrigerator had stopped cooling. I used my skills as a certified YouTuber to see if it’s an easy fix or if I should hire a professional. I very quickly found out that the fridge has a compressor that is known for going out fairly often. The compressor job is a bit above my level of comfort in home repairs so I opted to call and schedule a repair. Initially the service was great they had told me it would be a day or two but someone would be out to inspect. I had asked if they kept compressors in stock because I was pretty sure that’s what it was. They said they don’t keep them in stock but will order one if need be. I was ok with that I said you guys are the pros so if that’s what it needs or not you tell me. Turns out after the tech came out my refrigerator did in deed need a compressor and they had one close but we’d have to wait a day and they would install. First we received a quote then after the repair we got a higher quote and then once the bill was emailed to me an even higher number. About a week after the repair my fridge went out again granted this means our new groceries are spoiled after coming home yet again to a hot fridge.We called the next morning and they said they could have someone come out the next day. So on a Friday the tech comes out and it’s “low on refrigerant” which to me would be suspect of a leak especially after a repair was just made. The tech also was able to confirm for us our belief that the fridge was loud which was a sign that the previous compressor went out. After he came out and charged the system I came home to a hot fridge yet again. Now the refrigerator is barely a year old cost us 2500 dollars and the repair was almost half the value of this and yet we still cannot keep anything cold.My opinion is that if you want an EMT working for you make sure they won’t leave you dead on the table.

Appliance EMT came out to check out a problem with an older dryer which we thought may be due for a replacement. The tech determined that it was simply a bad switch and he replaced it immediately. The entire process was quick and efficient. I am very impressed with the companys quality, integrity and professional skill and knowledge and would highly recommend Appliance EMT!

Our dryer’s heating element went bad and a fellow named Bobby paid us a visit. Courteous, professional guy, no problem there. He quoted our repair at over 400, but offered a deal of some kind that lowered it to around 370. We had to pay around 50. For the service call that he said he would deduct if we had them do the repair.I priced the part online at 30. It may have not been OEM but I don’t know if his was either. He claimed to be charging by using some national guideline price book.We called 3 other repair services, all of them were between 230 and 250. I don’t know what led him/them to think we would pay that, but the take it or leave it policy of already investing 50 dollars, some coupon or discount and the inflated price seems to be more about something for nothing/targeting/gouging than market priced services.

I have a MAYTAG bottom freezer. The bottom freezer did not freeze anymore since ice was building up on the coils.A service person came to fix it. He just put some refrigerant into the system to stabilize it. The charge was $ 185.After less the half a year the same problem occured again. The freezer did not cool any more.So, I asked another company to fix the problem. I was told that pipes from the compressor to the freezer coils are blocked. This service person replaced the pipes and the freezer is working.Obviously the service person from APPLIANCE EMT. had no clue while the freezer was not working.Just to put in some refrigerant and charge $ 185 is outrageous.

Paul did a great job at repairing our dryer today. He tested several potential sources for the problem, was prepared with the proper part and worked confidently and quickly without rushing through. Very prompt and on time with a courtesy call ahead of time to provide an ETA. I highly recommend Appliance EMT. We have had them perform other repairs and I’d certainly use them again.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I scheduled my appointment with Bobby but he called and changed the time. Paul the tech stayed in touch with me and kept me informed about his eta. Paul was very professional and very knowledgeable. He had my dishwasher running in about 3 minutes and then taught me how to clean both filters. So glad we found Appliance EMT! Our 10 year-old Whirlpool refrigerator died and the first company we called came out the next business day, diagnosed the compressor and eventually, another 24 hours later, estimated over $1000 parts/labor to install a new one. Fortunately, in the mean time, Appliance EMT gave us an estimate over the phone, came out, replaced a burnt out relay switch and all for only $400. There was nothing wrong with the compressor. We highly recommend Appliance EMT! They will be the first ones we call the next time an appliance breaks!

We had service on our washing machine by Paul from ApplianceEMT. He was very good, called to let us know of his arrival time. He was very professional, did a very thorough job, found the problem, corrected it. Checked out other areas of the machine to make sure it was in good working order and did find an issue with the water pump filter which had some coins lodged in it and removed those. Have never used this company before was through Home Advisor, was very pleased with the service, if we have any other appliance problems would definitely use them again.
