My truck and trailer was towed by police because of expired plates (I live in Michigan doing job in Buffalo). The tow truck driver was the owner, he asked a bunch of questions about the truck and trailer and cargo (I later found out why) It was impounded and held until I fixed paperwork.The daily rate quoted by Dadswell was steep but I could manage. After completing local job I returned home to Michigan to straighten out paperwork. When I called Dadswell to get towing and impound charges he had raised daily rate to triple ($5000 for the 2 weeks) he said because my trailer was long. I could not afford to pay especially since charges were skyrocketing by the day.He kept my Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins (Value $8500) deck over flatbed trailer (value $5500) and cargo (tools and industrial equipment value $16,500.0/) Some of the cargo belonged to my bosss customer who threatened a lawsuit on the company I was working for. I begged Dadswell to release what belonged to another. He forced my to pay him money plus to send him Bill of sale and titles to everything. Greedy cruel and heartless what he did.

This dude is a pro, He arrived within 1 hr, picked up my broken truck in less than 15 mins and dropped me off at the dealer in 30 mins, smooth ride!

Had my car towed here as it was recommended by AAA, which was the beginning of the nightmare. When I went to pick up my car after paying for the simple alternator repair; my car had been hit on their property (to the extent the hood was extremely dented, car emblem off, front light loose). One of the employees suggestion to me was to just drive it youll be fine. They also said that they would be fair and work with insurance. My insurance could not get ahold of them and they never followed through with doing the right thing. To make matters worse, when my insurance company came to see the damage they opened the hood and saw that when Dadswell replaced the alternator they did not secure the screws- not a single one of them meaning they did not even complete the job I paid them to do. Giving a one star is actually too giving- the lack of professionalism, not completing the job completely, leaving the part unscrewed, and the lack of accountability was astonishing.

I broke down on the nys thruway pulling a welding machine from N.Y. to Colorado and Dadswells were there in about 15 minutes and very professional and helpful. When youre stuck you dont know what to expect or if you can afford it. They did everything they could to help me get back on the road (with my wife and our little dog) and the bill was very fair!!!!Thank you guys!!!Dan Wescott
