I’ve worked with a lot of trainers... and by far Rich is the best. He is constantly motivating me to push myself, and I truly didn’t know how capable I was until now. He is well educated on everything we do during workouts and I always feel like I’m in the best hands. By no means is this easy but Rich’s dedication to making you feel like your best self makes all of the hard work worth it. I have recommended Rich to everyone I know and will absolutely continue to do so. HE IS THE BEST!

It has just been a couple of months since I started working out at Next Level Training and couldnt be happier with the results! Rich is a very knowledgeable trainer who has been really helping me with my back problems (I feel great!). The location in downtown Buffalo is very convenient, the facility also have decent private bathrooms and showers for those early morning work outs before heading to work.

I recently moved downtown and was looking for a new gym closer to home. I found Rich as the top rated result for trainers in Buffalo, so I set up a consultation with him and ended up setting a training schedule right away! The workouts are hard but worth it - Im seeing results quicker with Richs strength training than I did with my previous training style. Highly recommend!

I have been training here with Rich for about a year and have seen so many great changes in my overall health, especially my strength! All workouts are geared toward what best fits me personally. The Fitness App that he uses for the workout plans is a great tool & very helpful if you have any questions or unsure how to do a certain exercise. I have been working out with Rich 1:1 for almost two years. Rich is a great resource and is always willing to adjust my workouts based on my needs and goals. He adapts the workouts for functionality to improve my mobility in different areas of my body. I’ve been an athlete my entire life and working out is a normal part of my day, but Rich’s workouts always help me to stay on a program, whether in the gym with him or through the app with preprogrammed workouts. Rich is also a great sounding board and I enjoy the conversations with him during my training sessions!

This was a great group training experience. Rich and his team were super flexible allowing 3 different time slots on workout days which made it easy to stick with it and not miss any classes. He kept in touch with us via email and was always available for any questions or concerns. I really enjoyed that this was not a cookie-cutter program like Ive been through at other gyms. Rich is well versed and knowledgeable, and I was incredibly impressed with the muscle and definition I achieved in his 6-week program. The facility is awesome and the workouts were challenging and fun. I highly recommend!

After years of dieting and trying to lose weight, I decided to seek out a personal trainer. It took not even 30 seconds after googling Best personal trainers in Buffalo for NextLeveltraining716 to pop up. My reaction to the 5.0 rating, and the excellent reviews was Ive gotta meet this guy Rich, I need him to train me. Rich was prompt in responding to my inquiry and scheduling a consult. My first impressions were confirmed. A professional, knowledgeable trainer, in a nice, new, clean facility, with a modern industrial feel, and a private environment. I was never a fan of going to the gym. But with the location being Downtown Buffalo and right off the highway, I have no problem getting there. So, is it worth it? Absolutely! In the short time Rich has been training me, Ive learned that eating healthy doesnt mean starving or eliminating good foods from your diet, I have an understanding of exercise and my views are realistic, I no longer rely on quick fixes as Ive always done in the past. I now know the importance of consistency and Rich helped me to be patient and trust the process. I am stronger, my clothes fit me better and I feel really good and confident that I will reach my goal and soon! If you are looking for a Motivator an Educator and someone who will get you the results you want, Rich is your guy hands down!

I have had many other personal trainers in the past but none compare to Rich and his expertise. You can tell he truly has a passion for changing lives. He is always available, whether it be via call or text, to answer all of my workout/nutrition questions. After working with Rich, I have built the confidence to work out independently and continue bettering myself. The facility is located close to Downtown Buffalo. It is well kept and extremely clean. Anyone who is considering losing weight, building muscle, or improving their health should give Rich at Next Level Fitness a call.

I was never one to enjoy working out or know what exercises to do at the gym. It was a nuisance to go to the gym and my workouts weren’t getting the job done. One day a friend told me about a 6 week fitness challenge that was being held at a nearby downtown Buffalo gym. The challenge incorporated weekly small group trainings held by a personal trainer. The gym is a nice trendy space with a variety of equipment to utilize. I was very skeptical about the whole challenge but figured if I was taught what to do I would be more inclined to work out and enjoy it. I was proven right within the first few weeks of participating in the fitness challenge with personal trainer, Rich. He provides you with a nutrition guide to follow and various weight training exercises that always make you sweat. He challenges you during every workout and pushes you to work harder and stronger. He’s dedicated, knowledgeable, and doesn’t allow you to give up easily. I started seeing results within a few weeks. I was dropping pounds and body fat and my clothes started to fit better than they have in quite a while. Making the decision to join the fitness challenge and work with a personal trainer has changed my life and helped me get in the best shape I’ve ever been in.

Rich and Next Level Training are awesome. I had never had a personal trainer before so I had no clue what to expect when I first contacted Rich. He asked what my goals were and ever since has tailored each session to my exact current body type needs/future body type goals. He knows exactly how to push and support me in a way I couldnt do if I was working out at the gym alone- I.E. standing next to me throughout each exercise and not letting me walk off the treadmill after 4 minutes like I would if I was at the gym by myself...! I would recommend anyone with fitness goals who are newbies or experienced to go to Next Level Training and let Rich or one of his girls tailor a program specifically for you with positive results .. I had gained a bunch of weight while traveling and being lazy and Rich gave me a diet plan/workout routine which solely helped me lose 5% body fat and 17lbs in less than 3 months...! Crazy!!!!!

I work in the building and take classes with Rich on my lunch break. Classes are tough but fun and Im able to get in a good workout in a short amount of time. Rich is a great trainer. He comes up with cool routines and always demonstrates things properly. I recommend 100%

Ive been to many personal trainers and gyms in Buffalo and Next Level Training is the best Ive been to- and Im saying that after joining only 1 month ago! Rich is a no BS trainer who is extremely knowledgable and knows how to get long term results for his clients. Hes not like many of the other trainers Ive been to who put you on a gimmicky diet where you lose lots of weight in a month only to gain it back and then some. I started seeing results my first week and I definitely have not been depriving myself of anything. I highly recommend both the 1-on-1s and group challenges- both are super motivating and not intimidating for any first time gym goers. Also the gym is in a very convenient location and you cannot beat the prices!

My first time with a personal trainer and Rich has made me challenge myself more than I have in any other fitness class I have taken over the years...I dont look for excuses not to go but look forward to the next fitness class with him. Rich makes the classes challenging, pleasant and I am seeing results with each workout. The gym is nice and since I work downtown, it is a great location, no excuses not to go.

I live in the downtown Buffalo area. I found out my insurance covered 20 personal training session a year! I was recommended to Next Level Training by a few co-workers. I called and was able to start right away and after 1 week I was already feeling better about myself and stronger!! This gym is great and the trainer Rich really pushes you and makes you feel like you can actually reach your goals. Everything youve been doing your whole life is wrong and Rich will teach you how its done!!

Not big on exercise but went with both my daughters. Great location which is a big plus. Rich does a great job getting around to everyone to make sure that your getting the one on one training and not getting lost like you do in the larger gyms.

Next Level has everything you need, including the best personal trainers with true knowledge and experience that will enable you to reach your goals. It’s convenient downtown buffalo location (larkinville) works great for me. Everyone there (members and staff) is welcoming and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Plus! Rich has thoughtfully programmed group fitness training that enables all the personalization of a one-on-one program with the motivation and energy of small groups. Next Level Training, lives up to its name! Definitely a step up from any other fitness training that I have done in the past. NLT location is conveniently located in downtown Buffalo; very close to everything and not far from my work. Rich is very compassionate about all around fitness, whether youre looking for a light training to lose a few pounds or an extensive powerlifting program to gain mass & strength, he has it all. He has shown his knowledge of the human anatomy through his personal training. When it comes to Diet plans - he sure has his Is dotted and Ts crossed. Each plan he develops is specific for you, because lets face it - everyone is different!The Gym itself is very unique, located in the 500 Seneca Building basement right in Downtown Buffalo, it is adequate with all the free weights, cable / crossfit machines, and cardio equipment with room for everyone even at full capacity.Highly recommended - been there for 4 months straight and wouldnt trade it for any other gym.
