WORST staffs and WORST service EVER!!! They simply asked me and my friend to pay $34 by email, and then told us the unit was rented!?!?!? Worst experience never listen to them!!
Having lived here for more than 2 years, I really loved the place and the management is really responsive which for me is the biggest plus. Especially Tim from the Office is amazing, helped us on many occasions. I would recommend this place.
If you need an apartment, you have many choices. But, if youre looking for a place to start a life in a place called home, Snyder Park is the place to go.Maintenance: We needed maintenance a few times & the minor problems were taken care of immediately-like within the hour with smiles & friendly, but professional service! The buildings are clean & well kept by management & tenants alike. People are friendly, but mind their own, if ya know what I mean. Pet owners are generally responsible for their clean-up as well.Location is convenient for college students, commuters with easy Thruway access, and independent seniors who enjoy quiet evenings & sunny mornings-lots of natural light pours in the front windows. My daughter was a Daemon student and happy to be EASY walking distance to school, even during the winter!Lastly, Id like to take a moment to my show gratitude & appreciation for Tim Stuff, the property manager. He is AWESOME! He is so responsive and was always very accommodating to my renting needs. Tim is an asset to this propertys management. To he saddled with the responsibility of a large apartment complex during an unforeseeable pandemic, must have been the intense. All was handled with the utmost professionalism & care. I can attest that my daughter & I felt as safe as we could. There was clear communication about sanitary protocols to be followed & service was never interrupted. All in all, Snyder Park is a lovely place you can enjoy for many years if you wanted. I highly recommend Snyder Park Apartments for your next home!
I am getting ready to move out of Snyder Park Village and couldn’t leave without sharing how great the experience has been. The entire staff has been easy to work with. The team in the office is very approachable and they do an excellent job of addressing any and all issues, no matter how big or small. The maintenance crew is always working hard to keep the property in tip top condition. What I appreciated was being able to see where my rent money was going because the staff is always upgrading the apartments and grounds. I chose SPVA because they are pet friendly. If I hadn’t purchased a home, I’d never leave!
This was a great apartment and experience overall. All of the appliances worked and everything was in good condition. The best part was the staff- they are kind and helpful. They really care! They even set up a food pantry during the pandemic to help any residents. Would reccomend to a friend
Snyder Park is a lovely place to live. The grounds are neat and tidy, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the apartments are very well maintained and affordable for the area. Pet friendly, off street parking and heat included!!! The five years I lived at Snyder Park were very comfortable. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. I highly recommend checking out their model if you are interested. You wont be disappointed.
Nice, clean, and quiet area with plenty of parking. The best part of my lease experience is the care, compassion, and understanding that I received from Mike Murphy, who is the best leasing agent I ever worked with. This is one of the best places to live. I highly recommend Synder Village!!!
I lived at SnyderPark Village Apartments for 5 years, during graduate school. This place was amazing. Reasonably priced, updated kitchen, air conditioning, but most importantly they allowed larger dogs. I had a great experience living there.Management was very helpful, and the maintenance staff was great, quick to respond, very nice and helpful. The only reason I moved out was because I didnt get a job in Buffalo. This apartment complex is in a great location, safe neighborhood, close to everything, with a coin laundry right around the corner, very convienent especially since there is only one washer and dryer for each building.I have nothing bad to say about this complex, I hope I can find another like this when I move again.
I have lived in one snyder park village apartment for three years. My overall experience there was great. The apartment per se is in a reasonable condition, although no sensible men would say it is great. Walls were painted freshly when I moved in, but you could tell the painters did not do their work with a very high standard. The carpet was fresh too.The ventilation is the poorest as it depends solely on nature. No build-in equipments and no options to install one by yourself either. If you are luck, you could smell something like delicious food from you neighbor at cooking time -- such a warm addition to cold snowy Buffalo winter night (I mean, 5 pm, if you know what I am saying) -- given all units are packed in one building without ventilation. But please also prepare yourself a higher chance that your neighbor may not be so smart at cooking or baking. The service is outstanding. Place a repairment order, handyman will show up in 24 hours and they always finish the work professionally. Some complained about returning deposit, which made me nervous too in the first month after moving out, worrying if mine would be returned at all. Well, it returned in a timely manner with reasonable deduction, which is also well explained with proofs in photos. What really surprised me is that the manager included the interest of my deposit. Small money (
My wife and I moved back to the area and we needed somewhere to live for the short term. We spent one year at Snyder Park Village and we could not be more grateful for the blessing that it was. Michael Murphy and his staff were friendly, helpful and prompt in everything that we needed. The amenities were great for the price and the location is fantastic for pretty much anyone. It is a neighborhood with actual neighbors and not just other people. Everyone is kind and considerate. Children are always out playing and the ample green space provides a gathering place for people to come together in community. Highly recommended.
The new staff here is a joke. They’ve turned over everyone in the past year. The manager (Michael) is completely cold hearted and doesn’t resolve anything. Instead, he just kicks people out on unfounded accusations. It’s nice that he doesn’t care about uprooting people’s lives and giving them TWO DAYS to move. The staff here doesn’t care about people or animals, just making money. They upped my rent every year by at least $35 ($420 PER YEAR), with no changes to show for it. Our apartments still have their early 2000’s appliances and they still don’t have 3 prong outlets in the MAJORITY of the apartments here. Real safe (SARCASM).This being said, I give it 1 star for good location.
Lived here for two years. Location cannot be beat. Very reasonable price compared to similar apartments in the area. Excellent service. Maintenance was efficient. Front desk people were nice. Apartment was clean and free of any pests. I have been very pleased. I am sad I have to go.
SnyderPark Apartments is a great place to live. Room sizes are perfect and everything is clean. Great atmosphere in a park like setting and all of the other tenants living there are super nice. Sad I had to move away. Highly Recommend to all sorts of people.
Ive lived at SnyderPark Village since 2015, and transferred from a smaller 2-bedroom unit to the larger 2-bedroom unit about a year and a half ago. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, and the maintenance staff does an excellent job of responding to maintenance issues promptly and fixing things right the first time. The grounds are beautiful, and well maintained - including the sidewalks during the winter. The office staff is professional and friendly, and really go the extra mile whenever you need assistance with anything.I chose SnyderPark Village Apartments because I have two dogs, and they allow dogs, which other apartments dont. But I have stayed and will continue to stay because of the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, and the convenience of the location. I would 100% recommend SnyderPark as a great place to live.
I moved back to the area with help from friends whod emptied my house. My dog watched with curiosity as I began to empty boxes and down-size.Michael Murphy and his staff were very welcoming whenever I took a break at the office or phoned in with questions. Taking walks continues to give me energy for my task, and I am really glad for groomed green spaces and shade trees everywhere. The location could not be better---minutes from roads that bypass local traffic, close to some of the best schools in Western New York and also shops and restaurants where I can meet with friends. I am so glad to be here!
The apartments were very good and staff was very prompt when issues occurred in the apartments would recommend them for anyone who doesn’t want to live in the heart of the city
I have lived at Snyderpark Village apartments for a few years and I can honestly say it is a good place to live . The apartments are nice, the management is polite and helpful, maintenance is quick/clean whether they are working inside or outside (they really do a great job plowing, snow blowing and salting the parking lots and walkways) and they are dog friendly. They are also very affordable and in a great area .
Snyder park gets a perfect rating because of it’s awesome value. It’s not a luxury apartment building, but it is clean, well maintained, and great for the price. The staff is notably friendly and helpful, and treated us very well the whole time we were there. I was impressed with their professionalism. The area is very dog friendly, and the location in general is convenient for everything you might need - the highway, awesome grocery stores, great restaurants, both UB campuses, and downtown Buffalo are all easily accessible.
I live there with my son Kenneth Dehn.Snyder Park is a great place to live. The staff in the office are amazing and maintenance is amazing they come when called. The apartments are great, we have lived here for over 8 years and we call Snyder park home and they are like family.
Lived here for six years and would have continued to do so if we stayed in the Buffalo area. Helpful, friendly, and attentive staff at the leasing office. Outstanding and responsive maintenance crew who are available 24/7 that completed work orders quickly and maintained the parking lots very well in the winter. Affordable and great central location. Great place to live!
LOVE IT HERE! This is my second time living here after moving away for work. Ive been here a total of 4 years in 2 apartments and just renewed for another year. They allow large dogs like my lab Josie. Any maintenance request is handled quickly. They keep the grounds nice and do a great job with snow plowing. The manager has been there a long time and has a real nice crew. Theres no way they would not address any question or problem. I would highly recommend living here.
I spent 7 years at Snyder Park Village. This apartment complex provides an affordable apartment in one of the best locations in Amherst - 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo, Clarence, Orchard Park, Niagara Falls. But, more importantly, the facilities are well maintained, issues are immediately addressed and the staff is friendly! If you are looking for a community setting in a park like environment dont pass up SPV!
My roommate and I moved here our last year in college because we would be close to school in a nice neighborhood. We are graduating in May and both have gotten jobs in the area. We have already renewed our lease for another year because we really like it here. We have a good sized apartment with a new kitchen for much less than the other apartment complexes around. The rent is not too high and includes the heat. The staff has done a great job with snow plowing, especially last winter when it never seemed to stop snowing. They were out plowing in the early morning hours so that we could get to school and work on time. There are a lot of apartments here but they are spread out so its not noisy and with this many apartments they have a lot of Maintence people. We plan to live here until we either buy something or leave Buffalo. We love the fitness center! We can use it 24 hours...and its secure with a card access!
The bathtub has been refinished and it looks great. Thank you.Actually I advised we would be home in September; I requested it be done before we signed our lease renewal. On August 31 we have to either renew or give our 60 day notice. I want the tub taken care of before then; it should not have taken 9 months to resolve.I really like our apartment however I have been waiting since November of 2017 to have my bath tub redone. Its now August 2018 and it is still not done. Ive been told too many times that it fell thru the cracks; maintenance has the work order, etc. They sent us a letter requesting we renew our lease with a $15 rate increase. Wouldnt mind it if they at least fixed what I asked for 9 months ago. We have been at camp since May and they have had free access to the apartment and as of today it is still not done.
Actually, I like the apartment Its quiet and nice. I had been living there with a good experience. But there reputation was dropped to bottom on the last day when I was returning keys in. They claimed to charge me $135 as I couldnt provide the receipt from some professional carpet cleaning company. I carefully kept the carpet clean and stayed up to midnight to clean it thoroughly. But it doesnt matter how professional I am in doing this. They said Im not the professional company and as I couldnot provide the receipt. The charging fee was mentioned only in the lease, but the reminder sheet. I dont know how many of you have eve read through the contract. I feel sad such an important information was missing in the reminder. Its my fault based on the contract. But Im still have the question. I think its the landlords responsibility, NOT tenant, to pay the professional carpet cleaning fee. Does it sound reasonable or unreasonable to anyone?
I lived here when it was campus manor. Great pet friendly apartments. Very helpful staff!!
I like most part of this apartment. Renovated bathrooms and kitchen, air conditioner and reasonable price. The biggest downside is that the kitchen doesnt have any sort of ventilator or exhaust fan which is very odd and its going to be smoke everywhere when you cook. The commercial laundry machines are located at the basement of each building (its a common area shared with 3 other apartment tenants) and my basement is nasty, spiders inside the washer, webs all over the place, just straight up gross. No one ever clean the area and you would never want to use any of them. Its a okay place to live in when you have tight budget and a car. Although the staff at the leasing office are nice they never get anything done upon your request. I walked into the office and complained about the terrible bugs condition out in the hallway and asked for immediate maintenance to clean them up for 3 times, they told me thanks for letting us know, we will see what we can do and never sent anyone to clean it. The webs and bugs are piling up excessively and no one ever came. Now the hall is just terrible walk by whenever I leave or enter my apartment. The management here is unacceptable and they just dont give a darn.
I would like to thank you to the owner and manager who help me and my family to solve problems about conflict with my neighbor.I got transfer to first floor apartment today as I used to request without penalty. Thank you the friendly staffs to assist me today. This is the best option for my family. God bless you . Thank you
I lived there for 1 year..... In that time we were there we had to have the fridge replaced 3 times. Each time it was a hassle to get them to replace the fridge. It took them 3 days each time which I feel is an unacceptable amount of time. Then last fall we had a leaky shower I had told management about this problem but instead of fixing it they just ignored it. That turned into the shower not being able to be shut off, causing our neighbors to have no hot water. I had called them multiple times about this issue. They finally fixed it 3 days later. I contacted the manager to figure why our shower still was not fixed 3 days later and his response was a miscommunication between myself and the staff. Now I am currently waiting on my security deposit back from them 45+ days later. I would never live in this place again
Disclaimer: I have never lived at Snyderpark, this review comes solely from experiences with management.I toured their model apartment and liked what I saw, but they didnt have any apartments available by the date I needed it. They later reached out to me to tell me they had a surprise vacancy and I could move in tomorrow. They told me to rush to fill out an application so I could give them the payments to move in before someone else got the apartment. I paid a 35 dollar application fee, and then was informed that the apartment was actually reserved for someone else. They refused to refund my application fee.Long story short, they misinformed me, I paid a fee based on this misinformation, and they refused to refund me.
I never thought it would be possible to deal with a community manager as unprofessional as the one here, however this guy is unlike anything I have ever met. Living at Snyder has been mediocre at best, the apartments are in eztremely poor shape however what really takes the cake was when had roaches show up in our building this Spring. I have seen the other reviews online recently about this issue (which now I am seeing is becoming a complex wide problem) and when we had these pests show up, we rang the main office who said they would pass the concern along. Two weeks later and still nothing, and roach numbers increasing. So I call again and this time demand to speak to the CM directly and was told he is busy and will get to us when he has time. When he did call back another 3 days later he was extremely rude and told me he knows others who live in the building and since they arent complaining that he wouldnt be wasting resources and money to send an exterminator. Yes, apparently the community manager at this circus of a complex thinks he can do this. So I called every single day again after that for another week and a half, each time my call being ignored. I spoke to other neighbors who have said they have had roaches now also, and when they called he said the same thing to them!!! Needless to say, they wont be getting another penny from me or my family. I wonder how the community manager would feel if there was a lawsuit against the company over this.
Pretty outside environment, medium quality apartments
Lived there one year and didnt renew my lease because of black mold in my bathroom that took many trips to fix over a 3 month period. The apartments are muggy & stuffy my basement flooded 90% of the time and I also found rodent droppings under my kitchen sink the staff isnt the greatest and lastly they take unnecessary money out of your security deposit!
Not sure why the overall rating isnt higher for snyderpark, but Ive had an extremely pleasurable experience since the day I moved in. 2 years ago, I had to search for a quiet apartment for my 2 pets and myself while attending dental school, and I could not have picked a better place to suit my needs. Staff was always attentive and kept grounds looking fresh and beautiful very often. Anytime I needed to speak with the community manager, Michael, he was always extremely attentive, friendly, and listened to everything I had to say, and he addressed any needs I had immediately. Its located very close to UB South, and next door to Daemen, and I highly recommend these apartments to health profession students attending the university, and I recommend the complex to everyone else as well. Thank you so much to the staff and special thanks to Michael for making my stay the best it could have been.
Worst experience in my life. Move there july of 2017. The other tenants kept slamming the outside door. The guy upstairs kept running up and down the stairs all hours of the night and blasting his music. The main issue was we had a huge fruit fly episode in the summer because garbage was being stored in the basement by a tenant. The last straw was a major roach infestation. We never received a notice that the exterminator was coming and never was warned that there was a roach problem. Needless to say we lost all of our belongings because there were roaches and droppings everywhere. We had to move and lost thousands of dollars worth of stuff. We also found out that these apartments in this complex had roach and bed bug problems. The manager even told us stories when we had a meeting with him. He refused to give us a different apartment. Please do not rent here its horrible !!! This experience was very traumatic for me I lost memorable stuff like stuff from my childhood. Cant chance roaches they breed and we saw eggs. The manager is useless and doesnt care. The building is filthy the basement is filthy which had bugs and floods and in the apartment the walls kept getting paint over paint on it like when someone moves they just paint over the old paint.
I really felt that I hit the lotto when I moved into Snyder Park, the price was reasonable and the apartment was large enough, but the horrors that lay beneath the surface make this a complex to pass on. Poorly kept common areas, damp basement stairs that buckle when you step on them, a single tiny washer and dryer in the basement and then pest problems.I lived at Snyder Park for roughly 5 months before having to move out due to cockroaches. Prior to the roaches we had a fruit fly infestation that lasted for 2 months before the community manager would do anything about it, and then I found out that our building had a history of roach problems ( something that was never disclosed by management prior to lease signing). My building has roaches in the basement, common areas as well as them inside the apartments. I have complained many times and even told the community manager about a tenant who was storing trash in their apartment (I observed them carry out 5 to 7 large bags at a time on multiple occasions), and he refused to address the situation. We were forced to leave because of very clear health and safety problems, its a shame, the place could be great if management would only take care of the problems. The community manager openly told us that there are other buildings infested with roaches and bed bugs, and he didnt seem to care a whole lot either, more of a stuff happens attitude.Avoid at all cost!
Campus Manor lied to the police about my apartment getting robbed by my neighbor and refused to evict the neighbor because they paid their rent in advance.Fast service though, so they get 1 star.
Worst place Ive ever lived in my life... would NEVER recommend to anyone... too many things to list
