One of the worst run business I have ever seen. Theyre random fees are outrageous. There is 0 accountability. I had tried reaching out to the Brunswick Orange Circuit over ten times by phone and email and never got a response. They were closed during covid, yet still charging everybody. They then released an email months later saying they would reopen on a specific date, they didnt. They were not open for at least 3 weeks after said date. They are a slimy and shady business that survives on screwing over customers to survive. I would absolutely recommend never going here or even considering buying a membership. I hope they eventually go out of business or get bought out.

Every shred of this businesses practices are unethical, and horrible. Unauthorized billing and worst service. Twin oaks has been harassing me about missed payments after sending the letter to cancel. Still getting charged monthly fees AND maintenance fees for over 2 months now, even though they’ve closed due to the pandemic. You’d think they’d freeze the charges huh? Oh and good luck getting in contact with anyone to cancel, let alone get your money back.

I was told back in March that if I wanted to quit my membership, I needed to send a certified letter requesting a closure of my account. It is now August 10, 2020 and all phone lines are no longer in service and they have sent me to a collection company named Twin Oaks in CT. During a pandemic, where places like gyms have been shut down, they still charged customers even though they provided no service. I have sent to the address of the gym a certified and signature to verify that an individual sign for said documents. Twin Oaks say they “don’t own the debt” yet they do because they Aretha same “health oriented billing system” as mentioned in their letterheads. I will not pay any fees and OCD can go F**k themselves!!!!!!

Trying to cancel has been a nightmare. Does anyone know what I have to do to stave off the collection agency? What a horror show!

This year there have been several extra one time fees imposed by the new owner. The total additional fees were less than a hundred bucks, and while not ideal or ethical in practice, there is no other alternative in the area that offers as great a value. As of August 1st 2019 things are moving in right direction. There are several newer pieces of equipment and the equipment available is currently in good repair. With new space to open in the next month or two this is the the most cost efficient choice in Bath Brunswick.

This gym gives you all the tools you need to get fit. Its nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. The price has been unbeatable, and Ive maintained great fitness thanks in part to this gym! Ive been a member for years and its been very useful for me!

If it would let me leave a zero...i would. Extremely poor business practices. Warning!!! They will submit unauthorized charges to your account. I was a member here for many years but will never darken the door again. I have repeatedly tried to correspond with them...to no avail. Bad bad bad business. Do not go here!

Not very impressed with this location. I do not work out very often and pay $15 a month, which is fine until I feel inspired to work out. Orange Circuit told me that if I called in May of 2019 I could cancel my membership without fees. In March of 2019 they charged my card early for the annual amount (they were suppose to charge in lateMay) and told me that they moved ahead of schedule and that I could not get a refund.

Joined this gym for the low price and lack of decent gyms in the area. Now, my account repeatedly gets charged for the gym upgrades. This gym needs more space and more equipment, not upgrades on the equipment that is already there. Yes, fix the cardio machines that are broken, but the top of the line machines are overkill. My account was also charged because they changed their payment system.Be prepared to pay close to $100/month for this membership after all the fees.

Let me start off by saying the lady at the front desk doesn’t know what a squat rack is... My first time there I walked in and paid a $20 day fee to test out the gym to see if I like it.... I left after 15 minutes. If you are an athlete or somebody who is looking for a place to get the most out of, do not go here. There’s about two thousand treadmills and one bar and a couple of weights here and there. Great gym for anyone looking for a place to chill and relax, terrible with everything else.

This used to be Planet Fitness, and since it has changed to Orange Circuit, there seems to be less equipment, and a different atmosphere. The interior color scheme looks like a fast food restaurant. Still, its only $10. A month, which is pretty reasonable. I mostly go in the winter when its too cold to exercise outside.

Close, affordable, clean. They are going through a major renovation which has been taking a year and still isnt complete.

Unfortunately this place has taken a dive. Machines have been broken for months, existing machines are torn and in bad shape in spite of not being very old. Some TVs are out of service. Most importantly it is not cleaned properly. Dirty in corners, under machines. The machines themselves are being used and not cleaned. It is sad to think this establishment is going to expand when they can’t take care of what they have. Also the parking lot has been very icy for a couple of weeks. Even the handicap lots. Nothing was ever sanded

Continued to charge my card for several years after canceling multiple times both in person and over the phone was told I had to come in to the building in person to cancel again even though I moved away to an unreasonable distance to be able to meet in person and was provided no alternative. Stay away unless you want to jump through hoops to cancel. Make sure you read the fine print in there bogus contract

Great service for the dirt cheap price. Always almost all treadmills work ok, equipment for lifting very clean, locker room small but EXCELLENT for the cheap price. I have used us army gyms, golds gym in Ayer mass, gym at university of Maine, and gyms in a number of high end hotels. This one is not a $200 per month gym, if you want those amenities pay $200 a month. This gym is excellent for cheap price. The people that complain about this gym are naive.

The membership fees are decent. Unlimited tanning included.

The manager is super hot. Worth the money just to see her smile.

We, my husband and I have belonged to Plant fitness when this company took over after we were members for 5 yrs. It is the WORST PLACE EVER! We r cancelling our memberships because they hit u with hidden fees BE VERY CAREFUL!! We we just hit with a $24.95 each..after a few in October and again in February!!!! We called to get a refund as we r cancelling BEFORE the 10th, today is the 6th and we could not get a refund???? We talked to the owner Max and he refused to refund our money....THIS PLACE IS A JOKE...THEY SAY ITS TO UPGRADE THE CENTER BUT IT HASNT BEEN...WHERE DO THESE EXTRA FEES GO?? Be very very careful!!!! U get what u pay for. We r totally upset and wouldnt go back for anything!! Ty Max for nothing! I cant go to the gym any longer as Im not medically able to and u charge me when we cancel....UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Good staff, helpful. Place is kept excited remedy clean. Rarely crowded, maybe for only an hour a weekday. No aerobics room or space but that isnt why I go. No lounge to speak of, just small table and 4 metal chairs. This should be upgraded.I recommend a stairclimber, or two, replacing on of the existing aerobic machines. Dumbbells at 17.5, 22.5, and 27.5 pounds to make better stepping up, more elevated lunge platforms than the one available, another adjustable sit-up bench, although space is scant there so substitution might be needed.

There are always treadmills not working. There is always a TV that doesnt work. The machines are Planet Fitness machines with orange paint. Nothing too spectacular about the place. The lighting blows. The only thing good about that place seems to be the manager. But alas the hours suck, always seems to close during an inch of snow, it only cost ten bucks to use and I still say thats $9.99 too much.

Terrible service. Cancelled two months ago. Still getting charged for their annual fee and another month for no reason. Dont go to this gym if you want to start hitting the gym. Wish they had a planet fitness instead. Not a recommendable gym.

Gym has what I need. Im not there to socialize. Want to do my workout and start my day. For the price I paid feel Im getting g quite a bit.

First off in October of 2018 I paid my yearly due of 29.99, no big deal. In January of 2019 a debit of 39.99 was made on my account WITHOUT warning or authorization. I was told there were letters and an email which there was NOT. This was a fee to help them pay for the expansion of the gym I was told. I stuck with them a couple more months and anoter fee of 49.99 was taken for yearly dues, I was told they changed the month they colleted so therefore they collected from me twice in one year, that is NOT yearly. Last starw was in May 2019 I was notified monthly rates were going up. So I finally canceled before the date of the rate increase. A couple weeks later I noticed they took money from my account again after I had canceled. I filed a unauthorized transaction with my bank and they got my 19.99 back. Its the end of july i am no longer a member and now I just got a call from a collector trying to get another 29.99 from me! I am completly outraged by their bussiness practices and hope someone thinks twice before signing any contract with them

My husband was using the gym in the Brunswick location while he was stationed there on military orders. He unexpectedly had to come back home to San Diego, CA we attempted to cancel the membership over the phone several times along with sending a letter request 3 months later we are still getting charged month for a service that has not been used. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is sad this company is not more accommodating with military members. We offered to send a copy of the military orders for him to come back to San Diego. We will not be contacting our bank as we have gotten no where with your company.

Beware! OCF has just hit members with ANOTHER new fee. First, in January, it was $39.99 so they can upgrade the facility (hasnt been done yet). NOW - without notification or authorization - theyve hit us with a new $49.99 Annual Fee - more than double my prior annual fee - and its only been 5 months since my last annual fee! All told, they charged me almost $100 in new fees without my authorization, and they refuse to provide refunds. ALSO, nearly 1/2 of the cardio equipment is consistently OUT of ORDER. And its impossible to talk to anyone there that has any control over the situation (owners contact info will not be provided). I have cancelled my membership, which is sad because Ive been a member since it opened as Planet Fitness about 12 years ago. I recommend finding another gym that you can trust and actually cares about its members.

You get what you pay for. I do love that they have so many treadmills, unfortunately, I think theyre from the 90s. No sauna, no steam, I was reprimanded for using my cell phone, (it was important). The worst was when I forgot my Beats earbuds on a piece of equipment.......nope, never turned in. 175.00 bucks.....gone. I will try the Y next, but its pricey as hell.One inexpensive suggestion, Sams club sells the thick rubber mats that would be great in Mens shower area. The water pools up outside the shower area, and its dangerous.

Cancelation policy is just bad business. Very inconvenient. When I did make it in to sign the all holy document, WOW, the 20 yr old girl behind the counter was very condescending. TERRIBLE customer service! UNETHICAL policies with regard to the contract. Just a bad experience all the way around.

My husband signed up for 10 a month. Out of no where upped his price to 20 then they keep taking more money out every other month saying because of new equipment. That no one sees!!! Took 20 out on the 17th then just took 20 more today!!°

I have worked out at several Planet Fitness locations while I lived in PA. Im new to the area and wanted to try this PF out before I committed to a membership. When I walked in, I was surprised to see how small it was. Everything was cramped and all of the equipment was jammed up against each other Also, the free weight area was very tiny. In addition to the lack of space, I was surprised that I had to pay to work out just one time. Most gyms give you a free day so you could see if you like their facility. In addition, the woman at the front desk did not display a positive attitude, one you should receive when coming into a gym. Overall, my experience was not positive and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

After reading the reviews I decided to check my checking acct. Found out that on 4/1 I was charged $49.99, on 4/17 $19.99, 5/17 $26.99 and 6/6 $31.99. Its very disturbing since I have been a member to this gym since 2009. Guess tomorrow morning I will be going there to cancel my membership since their website isnt up and running.

They are taking out extra payments without notification. Causing problems with my bank account. The payments dont match my contract price and at least 2 payments a month. Tried cancelling membership they continue to take out money for last 3 months.
