I took my vehicle to Coopers due to a fuel injector problem. Mr. Cooper called the next day to say one of his employees took it out for a drive while it was on a scanner and the engine blew up! When my wife spoke to Mr. Cooper about it he said in the shop attached to the scanner it only showed misfires so they drove it attached to the scanner to see what was wrong and the engine blew up. I drove it to Coopers! Mr. Cooper said he was not at all responsible. When asked he said he has no policy for dealing with such a matter. Do not take your car to Coopers because he will not take responsibility if something else goes wrong!

I asked on fb and got many very good reports from locals. We got a new fuel pump & an oil change. Good work. Nice staff. Fair price. (We were referred by our former mechanic, too, because he doesn’t have enough help to take new work.) We’re going to use Cook’s for all repairs from now on. Family business. Years of experience. We trust these folks.

I needed my gearshift repaired and no other place in town wanted to do the job. They were the only place in town who did not have a problem doing it. They did a great job and the only reason it took a couple of days is because they had to order the part. I would use them again!

They checked my sheeps brakes and shocks and told me what condition they were in and what my options are. Fair and honest about the work needed.

We had motor mounts put in and they were kind, timely and efficient. The next day our car died on our way somewhere, it was our alternator. Because Cooks had just done the work the previous day they took full responsibility and did not charge us and replaced the alternator. Now that is customer Service. They did a great job and I will continue to us them as our mechanic.

Took my car up there to get scanned because it was making a weird noise the owner Paul Cooks said my engine had no oil which was a lie because the oil was changed the day before and 6 quarts of fresh oil was put in then he tells me that my engine has sludge in it a (2013) and I would need another engine. Took it to another shop it’s the power steering pump I paid $80 for a false diagnosis when I called back Paul was rude and didn’t even apologize. Don’t take your vehicle here he’s an incompetent idiot.Update: Amazing how they respond and apologize once I reviewed the business yet when I called to let him know of the error in diagnosis he did not once apologize. Take your vehicle to someone else with up to date certification and who knows newer vehicles apparently 50 years with no update to evolve with changing times means your wasting your time and money. They can stand behind a diagnosis another shop stated was inaccurate.

Excellent customer service. I brought my 2004 Honda Civic here for an issue with the gas pedal and they fixed it with just a simple little bolt and only charged me $20. He told me there is a little part they could order for it but half the time they break within a few months and Id just be back there ordering another one. Well, its been a full year and Ive had no issues at all. But when we do have car issues, my family will be bringing our cars to Cooks Auto.

It is a relief to finally find a repair place that is not out to get one over on you. Mike Murphy ford quoted me $570 claiming my air conditioner wasnt working because I needed a new cooling fan. Thankfully Cooks was recommended to me by a friend. I figured what have I got to lose. $45 and about 40 minutes later I drive out WITH air. It WAS a fuse just as I had suspected AND told the Ford tech . I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know. Thank you

EXTREMELY HAPPY. I was visiting from out of town and was expecting the worst when my engine light came on. They checked it out, assured me that I could get back to Atlanta safely, and charged me much less than expected. Thanks so much for a super experience. AND - I did make it back safely. Highly recommend.

Customer service was good the automotive service was horrible! Spend close to $400 to replace 1 hose that was affecting the A/C. $400 hose replaced and my air conditioner is still not functioning correctly. Ive try to schedule a follow-up repair visit at least four times. The only way they can look at my car as if I drop it off at 8 a.m. and leave my car there all day! They can ONLY look at my car it in between jobs at their convenience, SMH! So, they took my money, did the repairs, car is still not working but I should leave my only form of transportation with them all day long-ugh! Needless to say Im angry, was taken advantage and A/C still not functional! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else ***ESPECIALLY FEMALES AT LEAST***

I chose Cook’s based on recommendations from several friends, and it was a great decision. The staff was professional (and genuinely kind), communication was prompt and clear, service was much faster than I had hoped for, and the prices were reasonable. Later in the week I had some more trouble, and they had me bring my vehicle in immediately. When they heard my Uber home was going to take about 40 mins to arrive, one of their employees drove me back to the island (idk if I can post his name, but thanks D). They went above and beyond, and I had my ride back just a few hours later, running better than ever.

Made an appointment a week earlier for 8:30 am. Car was still parked outside at 10:30 so I left. Most of the cars in the bays were not being worked on. A friend drove up in new Ford 150 with a slow leak. Mechanic talked to the guy for an hour. Not sure if he even fixed the leak. Feel sorry for the owner because during the two hours I sat there, no revenue came in the door.

Paul is a very honest and straight up kind of guy. Gave us a price for a n e engine installed, did the work and van has never run better. Very professional.

Took my truck in for a minor repair, they told me it was a bigger issue with the engine. Wasted time and money. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone!!

Code did not when they checked it for but told me to keep my receipt and if it shows up again no charge. Possibly I cleared the code.

From out of town, they Quoted a repair in the thousands like not it will be about a thousand but it will be in the thousands like at least 2 thousand dollars. Went to Minekee and they fixed for $330. I think they just dint want to do the work but still did not have a good experiance with this place.

They did fix the problem, but overcharged by a high margin the part was only $20 and on the receipt they wrote that the part was $117 dollars, they over charged on labor also said that the replacement part was in a difficult spot, but when I looked at where the part was it was right in clear sight not behind or under the engine, the job should have only been maybe $80-$100, but was charged almost $400, also was told that my water pump was leaking, when I asked where they could not tell me, and to this say it havent leaked yet, the water pump job was quoted to me as a $1200 repair by the way, they took me for a ride people, maybe if you know them real good or friends with maybe they would be fair...
