I had an issue with a seal on my vehicle and no major repair places were willing to help me. I called them and they were willing to help without hesitation. I removed a piece of my vehicle and brought it in for their help with the seal. Even though they were busy, and I had been using the wrong part (they helped correct that by looking into it for me), they fit me into their schedule the same day for a quick turn around. Now I can put my car back together. THANKS so much! You guys are awesome. New favorite local shop. Ill be back.

I am very disappointed with Stang Auto Tech and will not be giving them any more business. Our cars were serviced and seem to be in running order however I feel they overcharged us for a service I did not request on one of the vehicles and when I talked to them about their loyalty program they did not honor the discount. Rather than argue about it I just paid the amount and decided not to return. I brought both of my cars in for an oil change and asked if they would take a quick look at the brakes. Thinking that they would look at the brake pads and tell me their thickness. The Sienna they charged around $75 for a brake inspection. I accepted it and paid the bill. I wrote down when I turned in our Highlander that I only wanted an oil change and checked the box on the form and also submitted a coupon for the oil change. When I went to pick up the Highlander they charged me full price for the oil change and for a brake inspection. I also had to ask for an invoice so I could see the charges. Just not impressed with the service and will be going back to our old mechanic even though it is 15 minutes farther away. The service for two oil changes and a look at the brakes was well over $300. Which I believe is exorbitant

This is my go to place for everything that involves our cars. Their oil change service is top notch, they check everything, with no pressure to buy upgrades, and their price is very competitive. They will give you a list of recommended repairs and services so you can understand where that oil at the rear of your car is coming from! I have had used them for 4WD drive issues, dead starter, car that stopped running, leaking differentials, (and probably more!) that they were able to diagnose and fix, with their work guaranteed! I highly recommend this business! They were quick, friendly, contactless, and reasonably priced. I dropped my car off Sunday night with a note explaining my problem & the keys. Monday I got a call that they needed to replace my valve cover gasket and serpentine belt. They also noticed my spark plugs needed to be replaced. The service was finished Tuesday night and I got my keys from a padlock box that I set up with them over the phone. Not only did they replace everything for a reasonable price but they also gave her a car wash.Im new to the area so I wasnt sure what to expect but I am very pleased with my experience and will be going back.

We could not get the ignition switch and bezel to hook together even after trying several different times with several car buddies so I was starting her with a screwdriver for 6 months. Until CO Mustang pointed me to this place. This shop has zero transparency, their website lists services they perform but has no costs listed for anything.. They charge inspection charges for everything before they complete any work and none of those funds go towards servicing your vehicle. I called to schedule an appointment to get my brakes done and have my head gasket checked on my subaru legacy and they wanted to charge $270 just to inspect the vehicle, 70 for the brakes and 200 for the head gasket. Wasnt told any of that until AFTER I dropped off my vehicle.

Stang has great mechanics, and guarantee their work.. They do not however bend on price, consider those who are fixed income or otherwise struggling. Their prices are about 20-30% higher than other competent shops. In some cases they are more expensive than the dealer. Bottom line, excellent shop, very high end price for services.

I was overwhelmed with this amazing shop! I had been trying for a year to get my check engine light fixed and had been repeatedly told, by my old mechanic, that the issue was not fixable.The very first time I called them, they got me in 4 days later and asked me to come early to check codes on vehicle so they could be prepared for the appointment. They got the issue identified and had it fixed within the week! When it came to payment they worked with us and our small budget not to mention each person we spoke with was kind and patient! Tristan and Kyle were great, but I know there were others that helped get our issue resolved as well :) We will be coming back and I highly recommend this shop!

I have had multiple vehicles serviced at Stang and have been nothing but pleased. They are always friendly and patient and make you feel at home. Absolutely no issues with any of their work and they generally get my vehicle done on time or occasionally ahead of schedule. I trust them enough to send my 80 year old mother there to have her vehicle serviced.

I took my car in for a fluid leak. They diagnosed the leak, but charged me to do so, and didnt even apply those charges toward the cost of repairing said problem. Then it took 2 days to replace the radiator. We gave the go-ahead at noon the first day and car wasnt ready until close the next day. I asked to see the leak (I typically ask many questions of the assigned mechanic just because I Iike to be educated) but we were told the car had been moved outside so that was not possible. I even asked for pictures, but those were never provided either. We were also charged for a radiator flush. Whats there to flush- it is a new radiator? The people were very nice, and the shuttle service is convenient, but it would be less expensive to pay for a cab than the extra costs of doing business at this car repair shop. This shop came highly recommended from a close friend & I read all of the stellar reviews before selecting this mechanic, so maybe this was an isolated incident, but we definitely will not be returning. Update: took car to a different auto shop where they replaced the clamps on a hose for $75. Stang told me I needed a new power steering reservoir and wanted around $600 in parts & labor to fix it. So glad I waited on that; saved myself over $500!

Adding the review already written, Robert Stang posted all the other positive commentary on here himself. As a local business owner in Broomfield, its disappointing to write this review. I own over 25 vehicles, between large trucks and smaller vans. While out of town, one of my vehicles was taken into Stang Automotive for engine light diagnosis. Roberts team correctly diagnosed the problem to be a worn out distributor gear. However, he wanted to charge us over $700 for the diagnosis and repair. I took the van out of his shop quickly and took it to my regular shop (Louisville Tire who Ive worked with for over 10 years) to have the gear replaced for $266 including diagnosis. When I took my vehicle, Robert demanded I pay him $176 in diagnosis fees, called the police after I took my vehicle out of his shop as quick as I could and stated that this is how they normally do business. They must be preying on people who are clueless on vehicle repair and upkeep. BTW, this is on a Chevy 350 engine, probably the most common engine Chevy ever built. I did try to reason with the guy and explain my position...he just wanted to continue on and on about how we signed for diagnosis fees...Im still contemplating it...but to me it smells pretty fishy. Also the quote we received over the phone was $636 and the quote I received in person was well over $700...Robert tried to explain some BS about overestimating. Save yourself and go with a shop that charges book rates and does not ask for an open checkbook.

I have been having my car serviced at Stang for over 4 years now and I have ALWAYS been completely satisfied and impressed by the way Robert runs the business. I have complete faith in Stangs honesty and integrity which has been demonstrated to me multiple times. And I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I realized that they had pushed out a couple of large dings in the lower front of my car when they had it up on the rack. They didnt even mention it, but I was delighted when I discovered they had done that!

I had work done on my Dodge 2500.The original quote I received and approved, matched the final invoice.They communicated well and gave me updates whilemy truck was in the shop.The owner himself provided transportation back and forth.Great experience and service.

Got my EVAP shut canister and charcoal canister replaced to fix a check engine light. Robert, the owner, told me one of their policies was to only recommend repairs that they could prove were defective, instead of doing blanket-type solutions which may result in replacing parts that werent broken. This was evident in my experience with Stang Auto Repair, so I am happy with my experience there.

Nice Auto shop, I did not need my vehicle fixed. I asked if they could cut some bolts for my brakes, and was surprised that they did fast and wonderful work. No cost, even after I tried to pay, they would not accept any type of payment. I will bring my car for any type of repairs I might need in the future. Thanks guys for your help.

This place is the bees knees. I have taken my scrappy cadillac to them for two years now after my brother found them online and recommended them to me. They are always kind, always genuine. They patch up whatever I manage to do to my vehicle.They give you a shuttle to work if its in the area, they give you their best estimate up front and call you to verify the problems and the work necessary so you arent suprised and in over your head like one can often be with cars. I recommend them for anything from oil changes to car accidents.

Took my sons 96 Bronco in for some electrical issues and they diagnosed and fixed everything that needed fixing and even went the extra mile to check things that were working fine. The only surprise when it came time to pay was that it was LOWER than I expected. Well definitely be back.

I brought my car in after one mechanic said I needed my brakes replaced (marginal was his description) and another said the serpentine belt needed replacing. I decided to go to Stang Auto Tech after a chance meeting with the owner and after reading the mostly positive reviews on Google.I only have a few, minor complaints. First, when I called to make an appointment the person on the other end said that someone in service would need to call me back after taking down some basic information. After quite a few hours and no call back I called them and was able to make an appointment, the service manager indicating that he should be able to finish the work within a half day.Second is that when I dropped the car off I was told I would be contacted before noon once they had completed an inspection. Well after 1PM I called and was told they needed to check and call me back. They called back about an hour later to inform me that the tech was pulled off of my car to work on another job. While I understand that these things do happen a courtesy call would have been nice. They did offer to put me in a rental car at their expense which was a nice, above-and-beyond gesture.As far as the work performed, I was contacted later that day after their business hours and told that while the serpentine belt was replaced the brakes were not in need of replacement. They were in fact quite a ways from needing replacement and that I could in fact come get the car that night. I picked up the car the following morning and the service manager made sure and went over the work performed, the vehicle inspection, and informed me that no other services were necessary at this time.These guys obviously really care about their customers and even when circumstances beyond their control happen they go out of their way to make things right. Stang is located in an area of Broomfield densely packed with many other auto mechanics so they understand that there are many choices, but I will definitely be going back to Stang and highly recommend them to anyone else looking for an honest, competent mechanic.

I was loyal to this shop for years. Then, one day, I needed a transmission rebuild. They took on the service but, the day I got it back, the vehicle popped 9 CEL codes. I took it back immediately because it was obviously not fixed. They were reluctant to want to do the service again, and I went without my vehicle for 3 weeks while it was being serviced (for contrast, it didn’t take a week the first time). When I finally got my vehicle back, I was accused of sabotaging the transmission somehow because somehow water ended up in it. The next few encounters I had with the shop after this incident was uncomfortable (to say the least). So, I had to stop going here.Also, their attention to detail was not what one should expect from a highly rated shop. My own bottles of oil and antifreeze had gone missing after services. They had broken a number of bits of trim, clips, and body panels while performing other services. This was usually okay because it was fixed in the end. But in the end, when I had a real talk with the owner, I got a spiel that he didn’t have the A Team he wanted at his shop. This left me to believe my vehicles were getting serviced by a B Team (or less). So I had to say goodbye.

Ive had my work van serviced by Stang several times and its always been a pleasant experience. The team is knowledgeable and trust-worthy and I will continue to work with them.

I never write reviews. This is literally my first. I went in for the 4th or 5th time today for an oil change using the mail market promo coupon ($35 for an oil change and tire rotation what a deal). I walk in and am greeted by friendly faces and welcoming conversation. He starts to tell me all that they did and it blew me away. Oil change, tire rotation, anti corrosive on the battery caps, visual inspection, ... and the list kept going. The team over at Stang, especially Kyle, were some of the most helpful people that I have ever encountered in customer service. On April 10th 2019 we had an ice storm here in the Denver area. I slid my 2015 Tesla Model S into a curb, both the right front wheel and the back wheel slammed into a curb pretty violently. Tesla, being as unpredictable as they are, couldnt get me in for service until the 29th of April. Teslas customer service lacks in many ways and departments. I texted a number from Stangs website at 9:10PM that night, 20 minutes later I received a response saying they could help. The biggest problem I had with getting my car fixed was dealing with Tesla to obtain the parts. Kyle, at Stang, was super patient and willing to go above and beyond to help me out and get me back on the road safely and at an honest price. I highly recommend Stang for you automotive needs. Myself and my wife have found new auto mechanics and we as loyal as they come when fantastic service is presented.

Worst place ever. Did an estimate on every little thing and charged out the nose for them. Work was performed and after spending $2,000 the problem I brought my car in for still existed. The owner wanted to do another estimate and charge me another $100. this place should be investigated by the Colorado attorney generals office. I went there because they had a connection to AAA. Buyer beware.Update: See the Response from the owner. Total Lies. This guy is a hold out from back in the day when you could not trust a mechanics shop due to places like this. Again Beware!

I cant tell you how impressed I am with these guys. I took my car to the Nissan dealership because of a service engine light and some funny noises my car was making when starting it up. I was told I needed my head gasket replaced which was going to cost me $1800 at the dealership. I called around and these guys quoted me $1500 for the head gasket replacement. But when I brought my car to them, they took it upon themselves to double check the problem and they came to the conclusion that the head gasket didnt need to be replaced. So rather than simply doing the work that I asked for and billing me $1500, they advised me not to have my head gasket replaced. And they fixed the service engine light problem and engine problems for less than $200.Honest and friendly. They go the extra mile! They now have a new customer for as long as I live in the Denver metro area.

About 5 years ago they were willing to diagnose and fix a problem that stevinson Toyota couldnt figure out last week my brakes went out and they helped me to fix it at the right price. They take the time to go through the problem and always keep me updated, but are not pushy or rushed at all. I appreciate their help and professional atmosphere. They are always friendly. No one ever likes to pay for repairs, but at least at Stang I know Im not getting ripped off.

Tl;dr - Awesome service, honest, friendly excellent customer service.I have searched for a good, honest mechanic ever since I moved to Colorado, and I have finally found them. My check engine light came on and started flashing. I asked around work and Stang Auto Tech was recommended.I made an appointment online Monday (Presidents Day) for 8 AM the following day. Not expecting a response due to the holiday,I was pleasantly surprised to get a confirmation, but also a preliminary estimate from a service advisor, Nino.The day of my appointment I drop my vehicle off, sign the work order, and the owner Rodger drove me to work after dropping off another customer. Later that day I get a call from Nino with an update and its an easy and not too expensive fix, so I add some other regular maintenance services (fluids & filters) with the expectation that it will be ready to go at the end of the day. Around 4:30 I get another call from Nino, and there is an issue with my trucks computer throwing some more codes, and he lets me know that it wont be ready until the following day. Rodger picks me up from work and drops me off at Enterprise for a rental.The following day, I get a call from Nino and everything is ready to go, I drive over pick up my truck and see what the final wallet damage is. To my surprise,not only did the final total come in under the estimate, but they also covered the rental since my truck wasnt ready on the first day.I will definitely go back to Stang Auto Tech for all my vehicle needs for as long as I am in Colorado.
