I get my oil changed here sometime. The employees are friendly and willing to help

I was having a horrible day on Tuesday I changed my tire on a new car I just bought in new haven at 5pm I made it to Bristol and realized the tire wasn’t no good I paid 80 for no reason and now it’s 6:30pm and I’m looking for place and everywhere is telling me there’s nothing they can do TILL I PULL UP to Firestone at 6:45 and Superman Dennis took me in and was understanding of my situation and did great job took care of me despite closing at 7pm he not once complained even took his time finding me the right tire and even finding a deal for me since I just spent 80! Overall great service on my car and great customer service!!! I would come here 1000 more times

Yet again another excellent experience. I got a ding in a tire. Stopped in to have it checked. Needed a replacement tire. They were booked that day. They ordered a tire, had it delivered, and squeezed me in to get it changed out all within 4 hours! Great service

Scratched my alloy rims. Installed a tire that has a defect with out even bother to ask me if it was ok to put on or not. Couldnt even put the wheel weights in one rim straight. I had them change one rim while changing my tires and they tried to keep my rim. Would not recommend if u have pricey rims go some where else.

Don’t come here. Waste of time. Bunch of crooks trying to empty your wallet.

Good service great prices

Not even a few days after I left with a set of new tires, I walk outside to a flat tire. I think nothing of it, go to my local mechanic to get a nail out, theyre telling me I dont have sensors and it was leaking from the tire stem. Firestone shouldve replaced the sensors, cool, they didnt.Two weeks later a part of the valve stem that was C-clamped for some reason fell off. Took it to my local mechanic and said they also put 5oz weights on my back tire instead of 1oz weights.Cool, three things in less than a month that couldve been prevented by good work. Dont hope for good work by these boys.

I needed to get a tire put on the rim cuz i had a blowout and the guy was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me and make sure i would be safe with the tire i was using

Horrible experience this is the 3 time I had to take it to this place to fix a problem that it seems they are creating the first time was for a radiator and my car came back with missing pieces or miss placed pieces yesterday after I brought it here for what seemed to be a radiator problem again he told me that my thermostat was ok now they tell me that I need a new one I would not recommend this place or ever bring my car here again

My sister in law recently ran over a nail and they told her the tire couldnt be patched and needed a new set of tires. She took it to town fair tire and they patched it for 10 bucks. Bunch of liars and crooks, never going to Firestone in Bristol again, let alone any Firestone. Straight garbage

Service was excellent

2 tires had slow leaks after a year and a half. They dismounted and sealed beads and put new stems in for no charge. Also filled a grease fitting i had trouble getting it to take grease.

I brought my car in to get the summer tires put back on. I was told by Matt that the price was 140 because they are low profile tires.I looked over my previous transactions with firestone and I paid 67 dollars. When I tried to discuss it with Matt, he said he discussed it with his manager- when he never did. He explained it was a promotion when you buy the tires. I explained that I had them changed twice and I was charged the same. He explained it was a pricing error.A few minutes later Matt came back and said his low profile tire machine was not working. He gave me my keys and did not offer to reschedule my appointment. Surprising the machine stopped working right when I brought my car in.I noticed him talking to other clients who did not have the same skin color, and he seemed friendly with them.It seems Matt is the problem there. I have dealt with other reps from there and they are friendly and helpful.Last time I am going there

I recently purchased a used BMW 328xi. I noticed when accelerating and at highway speeds between 50-70 mph a lot of vibration coming from the front end. I took my car to firestone at 11am and made an apointment for 12pm. Ran some errands and came back at 12pm. They got my car in fast and balanced all 4 tires in under 45 min. They found that my tires where way out of balance and had uneven wear on the outside. They gave me a quote on a new set of tires and told me my ride should be smooth now. They didnt push me to buy the new tires, and told to come back when Im ready for new tires. Upon leaving, I noticed an immediate difference in the ride of my car. Now more vibration and a smooth ride while accelerating and at highway speeds. I had a five star experience and at $88.00 a great value. As a former Auto parts store manager of 7 years, I can highly recommend Firestone of Bristol to anyone and everyone.

My last time, kid gave me three different estimates during a 10 minute phone call. They supposedly replaced my water pump but engine bay looked untouched no finger prints, dust undisturbed.

Bought 4 basic all season tires. Tires were balanced and mounted within an hour. Excellent customer service and 10% off total purchase price. Will be visiting again and willing to recommend.

Fast service, helped me out with a battery for my Equinox after another shop that I will not mention, didnt even know how to get to the battery and almost lost the screws that were needed to secure the battery. Thank goodness for Firestone and their fabulous staff! I give them an A++++++++

I had them replace the serpentine belt as preventive maintenance – they charged me $85 for a $30 belt. They get $135/hour for labor which is fine with me – they are in business to make a profit. Then I had them quote a starter replacement. They quoted $220 for a remanufactured unit. I asked where they get them: AutoZone was the answer. AutoZone has a brand new starter for $135. WTF? There are many other qualified mechanics in the area. DO NOT go to Firestone –they are crooks.

Didnt fill up my oil when they did oil change they told me that it was full even though it was a half quart low. I have worked on cars for over twenty years and I have never been taught that you fill it and leave if a half a quart low just cause its still considered safe

I was told by Matt, one of the Managers at Firestone, that my car needed new engine bearings installed at a cost of $3,900.00 I believed him and started looking around for a new engine since it would be cheaper than having the bearing problem repaired.A few weeks later, I started loosing power steering fluid and so I brought my car to another repair facility. It turned out that the problem was not the power steering pump but, the metal tube that was rubbing against the engine and finally split. After the tubing was replaced, I notice the knocking sound that Matt told me was the bearings was gone.The engine runs like new again.Firestone was going to charge me $3,900.00 for a problem that didnt exist.Needless to write, I wont be returning to their facility.

Very knowledgeable mechanics. They were able to diagnose and fix JUST what was wrong with the vehicle (unlike that Nissan dealership down the street that just saw $$ when they looked at me). Furthermore, when they mistakenly mounted the incorrect tires, they bent over backwards to correct it for me. So great customer service as well.

I think theyre very good at what they do. Im satisfied at the results.

I went to the one in Bristol, and I always go to the one in Southington. Staff have always been polite and attentive to your problem(s) and I hope I will never have to go to the one in Waterbury . Some staff needs to take a (being nice to customers) seminar.

They were fast, efficient and friendly. Free wi-fi too which helped with the wait. Prices are good too.

Quick story about thiz guys,My girl(well not my girl at the time) gos to get her heater fix she went back in fourth First it was this then it was that,they made her buy a new blower motor they said she needed a new heating counsel which the new one had the same scratches at the top of it as the old one did so you guys figured that one out another words payed for one but never got a new one,Still no heat,Now this is where the story get good ME a back yard fixer type guy check it out once and got it running for her she spent almost a 1000 dollars with this guys only to have some one like me do one fix n fix for free,ii just think its crazy on when a female comes to thiz shops n how they try n pull money out them, they should be a shame to even be called a mendicnic,i sure wish i was wit her at the time.....

Place attempts to TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS by selling them thigns they dont need. Tried to scam me by having me buy 4 new tires instead of just patching my one tire. My tires are only 3 years old and have some dry rot from being out in the sun. Guy told me that out of a safety precaution they cant replace due to the SEVERE DRY ROT. Both triple A and later Midas told me that that was a LIE. Midas patched it for 20 bucks and saved me 500 dollars. THEY TRIED TO SELL ME THEIR CREDIT CARD as a way to pay for 4 tires that were unnecessary. This isnt the first time I heard this place taking advantage of customers. They try to RIP OFF WOMEN a lot I hear because they think most dont know about cars as well.

Theres no magazines for women to look at while waiting just mens magazines about cars thats not cool. Tv chanel was on a car show chanel I was not interested in it was cold, the seats and very uncomfortable.The clerk was not smiling.

1.5 hrs and counting for tires and alliment monro or meniki would of had it done in an hr or less there slacking alliment still isnt done looks like ill b here for another hr

I this place is awful.I would never go there again .My alternator was getting fixed but the put a hole in my radiator and messed my belts up then my 1 day turned to 3 days with out my car they wouldnt get me a rental nor would the take anything off my bill .I had to file a complaint with corporate just to get my car out of that dump they need to be shut down theyre a rip off.😠😠😠😠
