Being new to Bristol, I lucked out with Star Nails. Affordable for the outstanding service. I got a French manicure with a silver liner between plus a bright summer pedicure all at the same time. The detail to pampering and giving exceptional service treat you like a star. Loved the girls and looking forward to my next visit.

Linh did such a good job! Very attentive to detail, and the service was quick and friendly. It cost about $100 after tip, which is reasonable considering I had a full set put on, and the design was complex. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a good nail salon when I moved to Bristol and I went to a few. But when I came to star nails I knew this is the one I would stick with! They are so nice and friendly and very clean. I would have to say after all the years and many places that I have been, this is by far my favorite place!

After trying 3 different salons in Bristol, I fell in love with Star Nails. I’ve never had a bad experience. Lihn and the staff are very friendly. The salon is very clean, unlike many that’s I’ve been too. I am constantly getting complemented on my nails and have referred many to this salon. They over charge you lmfao. I had to even clip my own toe nails. 🥴 they done charged me $67 for gel on my fingernails and regular pedicure black nail polish. This girl did my manicure (the massaging and rubbing) for less than 5 min and they dead had the audacity to charge me for a manicure.

I love this salon, it’s my whole family’s favorite spa! Lin is the best my go to woman! And Rose is the best at eyebrows. I never had a bad experience here! Always so nice and friendly! Highly recommend trying them out! You’ll def be back!

I needed a fill and design. They told me they would be able to do the design based on the picture I showed them. When it came time to do the design they could not and stated it would be similar. It was in fact not similar. The nails themselves were chunky and I left in tears after paying 59 for a fill. I had to actually go to cvs and get a nail kit to take this hideous stuff off and apply color street until I can get in with my nail salon that I usually go too. Lesson learned never to get some place new if your normal salon doesn’t have an appointment

Great experience my nail Tech Linh is awesome great service they are taking all appropriate procal to stay Covid-19 Free my Temperature was taking she gave me hand sanatizer I sat down and she respectfully ask me if I would like water or a soda what a great experience I highly recommend this nail place. I want to start by saying that everyone is so very nice and the salon is beautiful,but my nails are not. I ended up getting Gel Powder which is Acrylic with a Gel color. Not what I wanted at all. And my nails are flat and squares. Not natural at all. I went here because Im visiting family and my place couldnt fit me in. I wouldnt go back to get them fixed,because if this is her best what would they look like after she Fixes them.

Felt very safe with protocals they have in place. Always leave with beautiful nails!

They did the job and did my nails nice just didnt follow request when it came to my nails and eye brows. I had to stop her come doing anything else from what I asked and my eye brows did not come out the way I asked. Eye brows didnt come out even. Missing more hair on one eye brow than the other.

Finally found a great place with friendly staff in Bristol, CT. The ladies are very professional and its also clean, neat and the decor is gorgeous. They provide you with complimentary glasses of wine, soda and or water. I give this place 5 stars!!

Hands down the nicest salon around. Immaculatey clean, beautiful atmosphere and decor. The staff is super friendly and attentive, they offer refreshments including red or white wine and the quality of the nails is worth the price. I would much rather pay a little extra to have my nails look this good and be done correctly. They last me up to a month. Highly recommend this salon

I used to get my nails done here all the time. The place is very hygienic, staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Over time, the quality dipped and the prices skyrocketed. The same service bi-weekly fluctuated. The last time I went there a few off my nails were crooked. The polish job was thick and sloppy and within 3 days it looked like I needed another fill. I went back for her to fix my nails and it was a joke. I left with my nails still not looking like I spent $120 just 3 days prior. A little transparency and attention to detail would make this a salon you must visit. The areas where they lack overshadow any positives at this point.

When I take my 9 year old daughter with me, she is treated as well as I am treated. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is outstanding. Was in from out of town for my sisters wedding. We all got our nails done here- it was great! They were so friendly, place was clean and our nails came out great! They also offer refreshments. The only thing I wish I was told before coming in is that they are cash only-luckily we had enough cash.

While the staff is great, the manager not so much. I stopped going a few months back after the manager started making appointments for me without verifying my availability. I was a regular customer on the weekends but one time had to change my appointment day (I was going out of town) and I was immediately questioned as to why I was changing my day. I didnt feel I needed to explain why and was insulted. Not too mention that after going there for several months, she still didnt know what my name was. Additionally, the manager treats her staff like they didnt know what they were doing. No longer a customer, free wine or not.

Went to the salon for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. After visiting a few other nail salons in the area Ive finally found one that I felt very comfortable with. Everyone was extremely friendly and it is super clean and beautifully decorated. Both Linh and Jessica did my nails and they were both great. Made my next appointment before I left. And the prices arent too bad either.

I moved to NY but come to Ct often and will only get my nails done by the girls at Star. Been going there for over 20yrs. Never an issue. Lynh and her sisters before her have always treated me with respect and truly take their time to do it right. Very clean and always relaxing.

I just found out about this nail and spa salon a week ago. i was going to another nail salon but the person who was doing my nails is no longer there, so i was forced to find another salon and star nails was recommended. i especially like that they prefer you have a appointment but do take walk ins if they are not busy (good thing because i did not have a appointment). but anyone that gets their nails done should try this salon. u will not be disappointed. very friendly girls .

The entire staff was excellent. I was serviced by Jesse. Super sweet and PROFESSIONAL. I came in with a hot mess of work to be done, being my first time, and was very happy with the results. I got exactly what I wanted and needed done at a price that shocked me outta my shoes. The ambiance was welcoming and relaxing as well. Star nails are such a great place to go get your nails done. They offer a refreshments water, soda and even red or white wine!! All of the employees speak English all the time, so no need to worry about if youre talking about youre not. Clean and friendly and great work!

First time here and it was a pleasure! The were all decorated for the holiday which had a totally warm feeling! Chemicals and such were not the first thing that hit you as you walked in! They were friendly, great and this is now my go to spot!

Linh and Jessie did acrylics for me and my friend and we’re the nicest people I’ve gotten my nails done by, by far. They made sure we were as comfortable as possible and helped us through the process to make sure we picked the right nails for us. Definitely coming back soon.

Very clean, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very professional and talented. Customers are offered beverages or extra pillows: anything to make them comfortable and relaxed. Not only do they do an excellent job with nails, but they also make sure to keep them healthy; I have never been to another place that works to prevent fungus or other bacteria from developing from raised nails. Also, Huong does the BEST eyebrows! 😉 All of the ladies are very hard-working and I truly enjoy going every other week.

They would basically ask me what I wanted done, and thats it. Here, they actually had legitimate conversations with me, and made me feel like I was more than just a customer. You need to have an appointment because this place is so good. They sit you down and give you something to drink. When theyre done painting your nails, they let you sit until theyre dry. No rushing you out as soon as possible business like some other places. Will definitely be there again!

I walked in just before close, looking for a gel manicure. The staff was very accommodating and took me right in, hence the one star. Never have I ever had any manicure (let alone a gel one) last less than a week! My nails started peeling off one by one in about 4 days! Worst 30 bucks I have spent in a long time!

Let me start off by saying the girl who did my manicure was super sweet and nice. She was very conversive and funny. However, I amSo disappointed with my results. I also brought my mom with me to have her nails done as well. To start she never buffed my nails. The nail polish was sloppy and she only gave me 2 coats. No dryer to dry it just uv lighting. Also was only offered water and soda no wine because I was doing a regular manicure. I came in to feel them out since I saw the reviews. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go there again. They are over priced as well.

I’m kinda disappointed, I was looking forward To coming here seeing how nice the reviews were. The place is really clean and nice, the staff are really kind and gentle the only thing I don’t like was the end result. I felt my acrylic set was rushed my tips or not on straight and they were not properly primed or filed before adding acrylic and there was a gap space in my nail that made it look like I needed to fill I nicely asked if it could be put in more and to possibly buff my nail but the manager siad she knows what she is doing etc. as a customer I’d like to be heard and my requests to be taken. for $65 it really wasn’t worth it because in a week it look like I needed a fill the gel became foggy and chipped and one of my nails fell off. I’m very disappointed that I wasted my money on this because I felt like it was rushed :( And right at the end I felt that she pressured me to leave a tip she kept asking me if I was going to leave one and I thought it was pretty rude and inconsiderate. I can’t always rely on the reviews lately
