I went to Cost Cutters for a cut and color. Mica was so very sweet and my hair was professionally done!! Im a middle age woman and my hair looks better than it ever has! I cant describe how much I love it and happy I am with it!

They are doing a great job abiding by covid guidelines and restrictions they did a decent job cutting my 3 year olds hair for a fair price in seem to be pretty patient in doing so they are also one of the very few places that sell milkshake products these days.

I was the only customer there and the stylist still rushed my whole haircut, I have long hairs all over my head so she missed ALOT of places! I paid $16 plus 4 bucks for a tip and I still end up cutting it myself! Heres a tip...SLOW DOWN AND TAKE YOUR TIME PLEASE!! If you cant take your time and do your job the right way then find a different career. Ill never go back thats a fact!

I brought my two sons in ages 7 and 9. Simple cut shave 1 on sides and leave 1 1/2 inch on top parted to the side. I checked my 9 year old and had to tell the hairdresser it was uneven. She was shocked. Went to tge front desk and the had different hairdressers try to fix it. My sons came out with really short military cuts that i did NOT bring them in for!

The girl who cut my sons hair. (Didn’t catch her name) shaved a part of his eyebrow off! My son has a point to his brows and now it’s gone. I know hair grows back but it looks bad. Not sure Hwy she even got anywhere near his eyebrows to begin with. I will never be taking him back here again.

Came in last Tuesday at 530 & was told they close at 6 & had 2 people waiting & she couldnt cut cut my sons hair. I asked if we came back tomorrow if we could get the $2 discount, & was told no ! Customers dont like being told no! Having only 1 person there on discount day is just not a good idea. Lost my business.

I just left Cost Cutters on Euclid Avenue Bristol Virginia needless to say without my hair getting cut. I had a 3 p.m. appointment. I arrived at 2:50 p.m. . They could not find my appointment. Then I had to sit for over 35 40 minutes while people that did not have an appointment were taking back and getting a haircut. These people came in after I got there. Obviously making an appointment doesnt matter. I will not be going back there. And I will share my experience with social media and whoever wants to hear about my experience. This was my first trip there and it will be my last.

Asked for a simple trim around the ears and beard. The blending around the ears isnt very good and the beard trip was uneven in spots.

Melissa the manager of Cost Cutters is amazing. She has so much talent and she is so easy to work with. She is great with cuts, color, and styling. She keeps my hair in tip top condition. Over the years I have sent many customers to her and every one is always pleased as well.My color can be complicated and Saturday I was in and out (cut, color, & styled) in just a little over an hour. I left looking and feeling great. Some peoples perception of Cost Cutters is that it is not as good as some the salons in town like First Impressions. Melissa and all the other stylist there are required to update their training on a regular basis. She is up to date with all the new techniques. I cant speak more highly of her.Also with the special that was going on last Saturday the dent that was put on my wallet was very small. I am a generous tipper and I walked out of Cost Cutters looking so good for less than $50. I have a friend who pays more than double that and her hair is in terrible condition.Melissa will advise you on how to prepare for any service that you receive from her and she will also assist you with maintenance.She has taken my natural very dark hair to a very beautiful beige blonde. People that havent known me forever think blonde is my natural color.This is the longest review I have ever done but Melissa is just that good!!!

Ive never had my hair very short, its always been super long. Ive always been commented on my long hair, and all my friends that picture me, picture me with very long hair. I have colored it many times, so heat and chemicals finally caught up with me and my hair was so bad that if I had it in a bun over night, it was almost impossible to brush it out the next morning. After WEEKS, almost a month and a half, of going back and forth, I finally came to the decision to get it cut in a bob style. Like I said, I havent cut it short short ever. Im also very picky with my hair. After reading a few reviews, and considering it was 1 minute away from my house, I decided to make an appointment. I had been feeling very anxious the weeks leading up to this, but it needed to be done. I couldnt tolerate ripping my hair out while I was brushing it anymore. I made an appointment with Stephanie, (young girl with brown hair as pictured on Yelp). She cut and styled it within 10-15 minutes and held a great conversation with me for the entire time. She was super sweet, and Ive had nothing but good feedback on my hair from everybody I know. Not to mention its SO much easier to deal with. I love it, and when its time to go back for a trim up, she will definitely be my first choice. Thank you ladies for all your hospitality!!! I definitely recommend going to them. Not at all like the Walmart cost cutters, or other cheap places who just rush through your hair and make it choppy or uneven. Everybody was extremely professional and approachable. (:

Gotta be the 4th or 5th time the same hairdresser has cut my hair so ridiculously uneven. Gave this place multiple chances because for the most part the stylists are good at what they do, but this takes the cake. Never again. Maybe make sure your employee can cut hair before you hire them. I couldve done just as good maybe even better without having to pay for it. But cant change it now. My mistake for giving multiple chances.

Melissa at Cost Cutters is a wonderful hairdresser. She has walked me through a couple of dramtic changes. She took me from very dark burnett to a beautiful beige blonde. That I love and took years off of my appearance. My most recent change is from a chin length stacked bob to a gorgeous modern pixie. I love it. It takes a great deal of trust to make such dramatic changes. However Melissa makes the whole process painless and the results are always beautiful.
