Honestly for the $23 price of a regular manicure, it’s not the absolute worst, but it could have been better. The technician pushed back my cuticles but never really got them cleaned up. Once the nail polish was put on she also didn’t really clean it up. The lack of attention to detail was disappointing considering this manicure is $3 more then what I usually pay elsewhere. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I took them and am writing this review less then 5 minutes of walking out the salon.

Horrible quality service. Within 8 days 7 nails completely fell off and I was told the service is only guaranteed for 5 days and that if I wanted my wifes nails corrected I would have to pay a fee. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE worst service ever experienced!!!

Horrible experience. Nail tech did minimal. Leg masage, 1.5 mins total, no hand or arm massage during manicure. Tech seemed inexperienced. 1st and last time. I arrived at 1:35pm with my elderly aunt for her birthday. We sat for 7 minutes, then my aunt was seated at a pedicure chair. She was put in water for 16 minutes until the nail tech came over to actually administer the pedicure. The nail tech was slow, I could tell that she was inexperienced. In effort prevent her from half cleaning the toe nail perimeter on my aunt, I had to bring it to her attention. Same with the foot scrub and manicure. Although the nail tech was receptive she was slow and obviously inexperienced. Waste of time and money to say the least. The nail tech had a nice personality but should be in training longer to ensure better outcome of services rendered.

Absolutely terrible. Do not go here. I’ve been getting sns for 5 years so I’m extremely familiar with how it’s supposed to be done. I knew while they were doing it, it was wrong. I got my nails done for sorority recruitment. After about 5 days, one of the nails popped clean off when they usually last a month or more for me. Due to strict sorority recruitment dress code, I had to remove all the nails because I could not have just one missing. I called the salon asking for replacement set and the front desk lady was extremely rude. ridiculously over priced to last 5 days. Will never be returning here.

I have tried this nail salon 3times this year. Each time has been a under cover disaster. Paid 120 for services of a gel pedicure( polish came off day 6) gel full set( nails broken on day 4, and coming off). My eyebrows (nothing bad to say,she did great). After calling to request they fix my polish and nails less than one week of services, the manger declines, rudely. He says, its been almost a week. Yes sir, this should last more than a week. And it didn’t last a week! 120 dollars plus tip! So never again for me! I get my nails done every month, of every year since 2006. This by far is the worst quality i have ever seen. Looked great day one. I have never seen my nails split and they are short nails. POOR QUALITY

I typically visit Bliss when I come to Tallahassee to visit. This nail salon is large. One side is specifically for manicures and the other side is for pedicures. The salon has modern amenities. In addition, for COVID safety, there are separators between the customer and manicurist. The prices are reasonable. I had a great visit with Ivy who was my manicurist.

Very bad manners, they speak English and they talk their language among themselves. Extra super expensive 18 dollars for each of my 5 and 6 year old granddaughters.They tell you is a “special” for regular manicure and pedicure $52 and when you go pay is the same price as if you never combine them. Bad attitude, they act like they don’t care. They all work there but they’re not in communication with each other as far as how to explain the prices. We are getting out of a bad recession and they charge you the prices as if you were in Beverly Hills. To me is a total rip off. They’re exchange of service is not in accordance with the prices. Never again. Btw they put water on the moscato and wine, is not pure.

My sister took me to Bliss for my 50th birthday and it was an incredible experience. Amber was my tech and she was so careful and precise. I will be making another appointment with her very soon. Love the cleanliness, the attention to detail and the spa itself is very attractive and serene. I am on my second full week of gel nails and besides the fact my nails have grown a bit, the polish is still in tact. My toes had regular polish and believe it or not, they still look brand new! Love Bliss!

My regular nail tech was out of town on vacation. I have heard good things about bliss and decided to give them a try. I’ve never been so disappointed in a set of nails or the poor quality of service given by a nail tech than I was today. Not only did I not get the shape of nail that I asked for they all are different sizes and shapes. Also I am bleeding from all of the cuts and nicks around my cuticle and on the sides of my nail beds. Tim was my nail tech and after he was done putting on the topcoat he left me and I never saw him again. Two of my nails we’re not drying properly so I asked the nail tech behind me if she could look at them. She asked me and I put another topcoat on to which I replied no what would I even know about the different types of things they use? At check out I’ll let them know my disappointment and no one said a word this is the first time in my life that I have never tipped a technician for service.

Initially a great service. Had lifting of my nails 5-7 days in and never get that. I get my nails done quite frequently and I’m not active to where that would be happening. They said nothing could be done. Do not recommend at all

Came here on a whim since my usual salon was closed due to Hurricane Michael. So glad I did. They’ve been open about 2 months so the establishment is very clean. The staff were very friendly. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist with a smile. My tech did a great job on my pedicure. I hope this doesn’t sound bad but everyone spoke very good English which made me feel more comfortable with my requests. I’ll definitely be back!

The service here was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very nice. Marie did a full set of gel on my nails based off a picture I showed her and it turned out beautiful! Will definitely be returning!!

Constantly over charged for services and didnt ever try to return money. Every time the prices differ. Was told that the better I tip the cheaper the prices. Very unprofessional will not be using them again.

While Tallahassee will be home for the next 60 days, its important to find a nail shop to call home. I walked in asked for Marie, although she was busy running the shop, she took her time & was very friendly. I will come back & try the Pedicure while enjoying a glass of wine (not offered to me today...next time 😃)

Took my daughters here, all 3 of us got manicures. My oldest daughter asked if she could show the technician what she wanted. The technician told her no.I asked my technician if he could paint a clover on 1 nail. He told me he didn’t do designs.He completed painting my nails, and just got up. I sat there for a bit, got up to pay. Messed my nails up trying to get my card/wallet out. The lady at the front desk saw this happen and did not offer to fix it.I do not recommend this nail spa. We were just a transaction for them today.None of the technicians spoke to us, I have never had service this bad before.

Unfortunately my experience here was not a good one. The technician noted that some of my toenails were looking close to the skin, and she said she would fix it. This tech cut the corners off my toenail so deep, its about halfway down my big toes (and I have a good sized toe bed). She also cut and pulled so much skin around the edges that by the time I got home both my big toes were oozing and bloody. Absolutely terrible. If I was headed towards ingrown toenails when I arrived, I am 100% there now and probably will be for months after this.

I normally get a pedicure here and the service was great. However on December 31, 2020 the service was awful. I went in at 9:40 for a pedicure and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and once I was seated with my feet in the water I waited over 30 minutes and no one come to service me and the water turned ice cold. No one came to say hi we are busy sorry for the delay how about some bottle water or a soda. I called Millennium Spa while sitting there and made an appointment with them, the receptionist there said we could get you in in 30 minutes. As I proceeded to put my shoes on at Bliss some one came over to assist me. I said no and went to Millennium Spa where I did not have to wait at all. Thanks Millennium Spa for giving me a wonderful pedicure.

Bliss nail spa is excellent! The staff is friendly and professional. Everything is very clean and the entire staff consistently wears a mask. I appreciate that they use plastic coverings for the pedicure tubs and go the extra mile with cleanliness. They also put up plastic barriers post Covid for added safety and have hand sanitizer throughout the salon. My nails and toes always look great! Highly recommend!

Gel nail service was very POOR!! My nails started peeling the very next day. I informed the girl as I checked in, they were not apologetic it at all. I thought the services would be more up to par due to prices. The manager walks around the shop and will look you in the eye and will not speak. The girl rushed through my services last night and oh how I wish I can post a picture of my nails now!!!! Thumbs down with angry emojis. I will NOT return.

This was my first visit to this salon. I came in as a walk-in on a Saturday morning for a gel manicure and classic pedicure. I appreciated that they took me with no problems and I didnt even have to wait long. The atmosphere was clean and relaxing and i enjoyed the professionalism of all the staff. I even enjoyed a complimentary mimosa. There was just a tad bit of blotchiness on the polish application of my pedicure. But overall nice work and experience.

It was a great first time. The service was quick and helpful. The tech doing my pedi was amazing! Will definitely be going back regularly.

I recently moved up here for college and my friend suggested this place. I had a terrible experience coming here. I was assigned this guy to do my nails and he had no intention of making me feel comfortable and looked like he wanted to get it over with. I was very sweet since I get shy at times but this guy was rude and rough with my nails and when i told him nicely he did the wrong shape on my nails, he took off all my nails aggressively and got up and left. He then came out with a different client and started doing her nails in front of me without saying anything. I was in shock. I asked the front desk if someone was going to do my nails since he abruptly got up and left me like that, but they told me they were booked and that i had to reschedule. I left in tears with my nails bare and not done. Never coming back here again.

Dont do sculpture nails...but I got in on time and its more affordable than others.

I went in with a friend. We both got different pedicures I got the most expensive pedicure. My friend who paid less got a better pedicure and massage. I ended up with the person who focused More on directing staff than on my pedicure. They started our manicures after instead of during so it took twice as long.. and they sat my friend across the room from me. Weird experience. It was so uncomfortable... Like the staff just wanted to get it over with and had no no interest in making us feel comfortable. I just couldn’t wait until it was over. My nails are just ok, two were put on crooked and they are showing scuffs which I’ve never had happen before. My toes show brush marks and are missing polish. I spent $120 and I won’t go back.

They are not a walk in Salon. MUST make an appointment before going. Staff not very friendly.

While I love this Salon and its owners they are lacking the personal touch like they used to. Marie is forever up and down tending to other business and seems distracted much of the time. I wish them the best in their endeavors, but it time for me to move on to a smaller salon where they are attentive and focused solely on me!

Nothing spa-like here. the owner is more interested in her kids phone calls or militantly directing and scolding her staff. I followed Marie to vaious location while the shop was under construction, but now in her own dhop, shes forgotten that she has a service business and doesnt provide the Bliss and Spa service that the name of the business suggests. Customers seem almost secondary to her.

I Received and dip set that was not done correctly ! There are dents in the nails and not only that but they are not even the same length what so ever !!!! I will NEVER spend my money with this shop again. When I asked the owners to fix them I was told no . Please don’t spend your money here you will be disappointed.

I loved the environment/atmosphere that Bliss had. It was honestly one of the cleanest and most organized salons Ive seen in Tallahassee. The staff were all polite and accommodating. It wasnt noisy or loud. I was seated and attended to immediately. I was in and out in under an hour (gel manicure). I plan on returning for a pedicure soon. Id give the manicure a 4.9. Im very picky.Edit: I went back. Everything was still clean and pleasant.

I have heard that this place was really good and I received dip powder nails. I got a dark purple color that was really pretty and I was excited to get it. The person doing my nails filed them down to much and made the color splotchy. When I said something he said it was just the light. When the technician put on the clear coat at the end he didn’t brush off the excess powder which caused the finished nails to look bumpy. Honestly this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a nail salon and I will not be returning.

I decided to go to this nail salon after I saw nothing but good reviews! But I now regret it, I originally wanted acrylic & I was told they didn’t do acrylic so I chose to get the dipping method. I started by getting a soak off & had no issues but when it came time for them to actually do my nails I waited for a good 45 mins . Finally the lady came to do my nails! I wanted long coffin which I paid EXTRA for she made them short and they weren’t even my right hand was longer then the left I told her and she said she’d fix it so I was like okay you know trust the process . NO! It got worse my nails are lumpy uneven flat and just plain horrible. I’m not judging the whole salon because it really does seem nice however be on the look out for the lady with glasses who sits in the back to the left she will mess up your nails!

It was a very pleasant experience. The lady that did my pedicure did an excellent job. It was very clean. The scrub they used was nice and the massage was very relaxing.

Im super picky about my nails and always have something to say afterward. The gal at Bliss did a great pedicure and then shocked the critic out of me when she was done with my manicure. Her dip was incredibly precise and even across all ten nails. She changed my nail shape and each one looks great. She eyeballed the length and without too much fuss they are all 100% even. Ive had compliments everywhere Ive gone around town. Salon is very very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. A+

This place is clean and friendly. It was a great experience getting a pedicure there. The massage chairs are average and dont really fit well for a small person but at least they had enough of an adjustment so that my short legs reached the platform without having to sink down into the chair like at some other places. The massage could be better and longer but overall my pedicure was a nice experience and o think the prices are reasonable. The products are nice and I think the selection is just right. I did, however, get an ingrown nail from my visit from what appears to be a cuticle trimmed incorrectly. Im very disappointed as its painful and now my toe is wrapped up and bleeding rather than showing off my new color. :(

Quick service and they did a great job with my nails. I had the same technician both times and he was great, even when I was too impatient and messed up one of my nails because I didnt wait long enough to let the polish dry, he insisted on redoing it. I will continue to use Bliss for A while!
