This restaurant has a fantastic and tasty representation of the wonderful food the country of Turkey has to offer. My family and I have been here several times and each time is wonderful. From the attentive service to the delicious food we truly love eating here. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant and tasting the lovely food Turkey has!

My favorite restaurant in my neighborhood! I LOVE Turkish food and am so happy to have Bereket in Black Rock. Their mixed appetizer platter is my favorite, salads are delicious and grilled salmon is SO good. I’ve brought family and friends here and everyone loves it! BYOB too, so we’re able to have a delicious dinner for such a reasonable price!

We’ve been here three times now and every time has been great. The food is delicious, authentic, full of flavor. The service is always perfect and the prices can’t be beat for the servings and quality. It’s become our favorite restaurant in the area now, and did I mention they’re BYOB with no cork fee? Can’t beat that

Good food. There are 2 of these locations but I believe are different owners. The original on Main St to me is better for most of the items on the same menu but cant go wrong with either.

I came here a few years ago and this place was amazing. Came here yesterday to celebrate my 24th day and this place did a complete 180 on the food. The mixed cold appetizer was amazing, everyone enjoyed it. However the waitress did not put in the right order for several people in my party including the drinks. As someone who is a cook at a restaurant, I was very disappointed in the quality of the entrees given the 20+ price on them. The party collectively agreed the red meat dishes were very dry and the roasted veggies and rice was super skimpy. We are all unsure of which of these was a worse experience, our waitress or the entrees.

My wife and I decided we wanted to try Turkish food so we look it up and accidentally went to the wrong restaurant (under the same name). They close at 9:00pm and we couldn’t get there until after they closed. Not only were they super nice about it but they even threw in a dessert, when it was OUR fault! Long story short, the food is amazing and we will be going back. It was fresh, tasty, and the portions are very filling. Who knew for the same price as Chipotle you could get such authentic food! 🔥

Not just the best middle eastern food in New England; the best food period!

We had an okay experience here. We ordered a salted yogurt drink which was good. The falafels were our decent but the dip with it was amazing! And the zucchini pancakes were a huge disappointment. We were very much looking forward to that but were extremely disappointed. It was way too oily and all we could taste was oodles of oil. The other dish we ordered was steamed veggies which was supposed to have been tossed in spices but it was extremely bland. So overall it was just okay for us. The staff are friendly and the service was quick.

How rare is it for a take out restaurant to get your order 100% accurate? This place NAILED it. Right down to including extra pita in my order and getting my coffee just right, Bereket had everything perfect!!!Aside from the accuracy of my order, the food is absolutely delicious. I could not wait to get home to eat my kebab so I just parked and ate it in my car! Awesome generous portions and delicious authentic food and coffee.

I meet friends in this place quite a bit! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place many times. The cooking is very tasty, the staff members are professional and the prices are good. I like eating in this restaurant to have a rich lunch.

Sauteed Mixed vegetables with rice seemed like a nice addition to our other chicken based dishes. You literally took a bag of FROZEN ASIAN STYLE vegetables, snow peas and water chestnuts included, heated them and threw them in a to-go container. Shame on you. Really, shame on you.

Donner was frozen gyro slices, rice flavorless, meat was dry. Truly the worst Turkish food Ive ever had. The original Bereket in Bridgeport is actually some of the best Turkish Ive ever had. Idk why this place is using the same name, I know its different owners.

I ordered a Lamb ADANA shish kabob and it was nothing like it. I am from ADANA and ate at the Red Onion Restaurant and it wasnt even close. I have been in America since I was 13 and im now 37 today and have been searching for an authentic ADANA shish kabob and to this day no luck. Service was great. People were great...disappointed in my search for home food.

Turkish Cuisine is one of my favorite and I can tell when it is authentic and made from the scratch. Thats the case of Bereket restaurant. I visited this place for lunch and for dinner. Great service, delicious and flavourful dishes! BYOB is definitely a pleasant bonus.

I ordered the mixed grill. lamb meat was extremely tough as rubber. Chicken and Ground meat was dry too. Though, The doner meat was very good

Bereket is our go-to restaurant for Middle Eastern cuisine. The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly.

We go here all the time as it’s the only BOYB in town. The service is great and never rushed. The baklava is a must, and although we like all their dishes my favorite is the mixed dip appetizer.

Nice place good food

I love this turkish restaurant because foods are not much spicy and lighter then aisan food. They have pretty nice arrangement they fit needs for both families or for the couples. If weather is good you can enjoy food outside also. Owner is very helpful and friendly.

I went here to attend a birthday party and for a meal. This place is not authentic at all, I got chicken shish kebab and the chicken was hard as a rock (not sure how old it was). I originally went here after reading all the good reviews on here but it was a BIG disappointment. Not only that, customer service was very poor! I had to keep getting up from my seat to ask the waitress for water, cake, bill and take away boxes. The waitress did not seem attentive to our needs at the table at all! She was sitting and rolling up cutlery in the napkins, I could not believe it? This place is also over priced and the food is not fresh.

This is the absolute worst Turkish food I ever had. I accidentally ordered from here instead of the hole in the wall with the same name. Im assuming the people leaving reviews here are thinking its that place. The donner kebab was clearly frozen. Tasted like nothing at all just dry cardboard. The baba ganoush was lacking flavor and was chunky. It honestly tasted like they put mayo in it. The Bulger was devoid of flavor and the bread wasnt even Turkish it was grilled frozen pita. Absolutely terrible experience. I cant beleive theyre in business.

Delicious kebabs, amazing rice, and everything perfectly cooked. Cant say enough positive things about the owners, they are so polite and friendly. We have been going here for years and always treated as if we are part of the family.

*Heads up to any vegans thinking of trying the falafel here*The falafel (for some reason) contains egg. It doesnt say it in the ingredients list on their website. I was told over the phone.Its super disappointing because I used to love their falafel. I even had it a few times after becoming vegan because I never asked if there was egg in it (because most people/restaurants dont put egg in falafel).

The food here is great. The atmosphere is unique because the restaurant is behind a gas station.

Incredible very fresh authentic Turkish food.

I go there at least once a month. It is very inexpensive and the ability to bring your own alcohol (for $5 a bottle) is a plus. For $77 we had 3 apps (feta in filo dough, dips, and zucchini) 3 dinners (falfael with eggplant and 2 chicken shish) and 3 desserts (rice pudding, baklava, and custard). The owner is such a nice person. I definitely recommend this restaurant for Turkish food.
