Called on a FRI for a consultation for a very old forced air furnace replacement which began leaking oil and emitting odor in residence. Gave complete information of the situation and that I was needing to know my choices, costs and time frame for completion. Received a call 30 minutes later from Bret, a polite man who wanted clarification. I repeated to him the situation. To an annoyance of mine because I understood the cause of the leak (the 30 year old furnace), he stated I should contact the fuel delivery company about the leak, and that they didnt replace oil furnaces and only to natural gas). There was no but I can be out to discuss gas replacement in that or the next sentence. There was moment of uncomfortable odd quietness which I ended with... well can you consult on a gas replacement? He said yes politely and scheduled for mid morning the upcoming MON. FASTFORWARD. MON comes, Bret calls 45 minutes prior to appointment. He politely states: need to cancel, they have been inundated with emergencies. Again there is an odd silence without a follow up of but I can reschedule to (fill in the blank). This prolongs the uncomfortable silence. But wait! He then states AGAIN to my annoyance: we dont do oil replacements. That is all I needed to hear, you arent wasting my time any further. For a professional HVAC mechanical engineering company to behave this way is unacceptable. What could be more urgent than pricing out a replacement for a 30 year old furnace emitting heating oil odors? There were so many other emergencies that made it impossible to spend 30 minutes as scheduled so you could provide the requested information and submit it a few days later? Move along to a more detail orientated business.

We had Victor come to our home to fix the heating. From the moment he called us to the completion of the work he could not have been nicer. Work was done in a timely manner and done well. I would recommend Alliance to anyone. A+++++

Website claims same day service but when you call they tell you they are no longer taking new clients. Do not call this business unless you are already under contract with them they do not want new business and are very rude about it

Alliance has a great staff. Their service technician Jeff is a good worker. He is very nice and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. I ask for to come whenever possible.

We worked with Alliance Heating and Air for an annual check up with our buildings heating and air system. They did a fine job making sure everything was ready for the season. They did all the work in a good time frame that worked for us too.

I had new tenants move into my rental property on May 1. On May 2 their son called to say the AC was not functioning. First I tried HomeAdvisor and basically no business available for weeks. I called Air Serv on May 3 and they could have someone out the next day! On time, expedient and finished the job within their time frame. At a very reasonable cost. Technician extremely polite and informative. A+

This used to be a great company, but after the change of ownership, they offer horrible services. My house has been serviced by this company for almost 10 years, now I am so happy that I have found one in Stamford, TriTech that can take care of GeoThermal system as well. They over charge the trip hours, make duplicate trips for the same problem....

Rude obnoxious and incompetent. Dont tell you when they will come when they come cant fix a problem. When you complain they hang up on you (thank you Terri). Never treated like this before....

Since the ownership change, the service became horrible. 1) overcharge on hours, 2) many 7 min over and roundup to half an hour, never see round down. Not going to use anymore.

Alliance Heating and Air Conditioning installed our original system when we were having our house built. When the house was complete, an employee came back to our house to explain how the system worked and helped answer our questions about the new technology that we were not familiar with.
