Van did such a good job on my nails! I wanted a certain design and she gave me exactly what I wanted. They’re super nice and I can’t wait to go again

So yesterday I had a bit of an issue with paint on my pants and shoe due to a 💅 nail polish bottle falling and breaking open, paint splattered on me. I was moved around several times before this. The two ladies didnt give me anything for my 👖 pants to try to clean it up a bit. They seemed more concerned with cleaning the floor. I was a bit 😡 upset and left. I was back in the area today and thought Id try it again. Im glad I did..Ruby was very professional and did a great job on my fill in 💅She even suggested great shapes for my nail design and color choices. She has restored my faith in this salon 🙌 I will be back just to continue services with Ruby.

I just took my 4 year old daughter in for a polish change while I got a pedicure, and it was amazing! I always come here for my acrylics and leave happy every time, but this time was so good we had to leave a review. It’s always nerve wracking to take a child into a salon, but everybody treated my girl like a little queen. Her nails somehow are perfect, even with her wiggling around a little. She keeps saying “best day ever Mom!”

Kind of disappointed...went here on my birthday weekend. First time in the area. Good experience with techs, but my nail art is coming off. I told The tech that she didn’t fill in the whole nail, but she said If you put too much it won’t stay. However, my entire other nail is entirely covered. I am OCD about my nails being even. Not worth my $100. 😭

My mother was visiting and I brought her here . They were incredibly courteous and on time. I appreciate the value, time and effort they put in. I will return.

First off, youve got colors galore! They have one of the most extensive choices of colors of any salon that Ive visited. It really leaves many options for creative exploration for the clients. Everyone is always very professional and welcoming. Ive been coming here for close to 2 years and Ive always been very satisfied with the quality and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Van does an amazing job! Actually all of the artists are do a wonderful job! I have been going here for over 10 years! They know all of their customers and make the best experience.

I went to get my mani and pedi done. Well I chose a color that I thought would look pretty but apparently in order to get the nice color they had to keep putting several layers (not the usually 2-3 coating), but a lot more. Well I wasn’t happy, but I was also shy to tell them that. after I got home I thought abt it and called them. I asked if it was possible for me to get them redone? The lady I spoke to said c’mon over. I went back to the salon chose a different color and they did my nails again. I was very happy with the outcome and service. I will be def going back!

They do a great finished product. Most of the technicians are really good. A few can be pretty rough. Last time I was there, the guy cut me with the grinder and then started putting the wrong color on. I will still go back, because my daughters experience was great and most of the time mine is. My daughter was able to pull up a crazy nail design online and they replicated it perfectly.

Got a pedicure there and they did a good job. Staff was very friendly and a relaxed atmosphere.

I have never came to this place before and to be honest I usually never get my hands or toes done. I received a pedicure abs they lady was so sweet and nice she did an amazing job and always checked to make sure she was not hurting me and that is was comfortable.

This is the best nail salon on Brentwood, hands down! They always do such a beautiful job on my nails- both manicures and pedicures. Everything is very clean, and they have plexiglass separators at each nail station. They have so many polish/gel/dip colors to choose from too! Always a great experience here!!

It was my first time here, and I was not happy. I got acrylics and they fell off the next day. The nail tech was aggressive will my nails. I started bleeding when the tech cut of my cuticles. The nail polish was uneven and the layers were all messed up. Some of the workers weren’t even wearing a mask. Don’t recommend

Honestly so overpriced :( The man who did my nails did a great job but I ended up not liking the colors I chose and while that is my fault, it was extra sad because I paid 60+tip for dip powder on my natural nails. The dip manicure did not included any lotion, massage, soak, etc... nothing. Very straight forward. When I called back to see if I could get them redone or soaked off for a discounted price the very next day, I was told I’d have to pay full price again. Like I said, it’s my fault that I do not like the colors I picked after they were actually on my nails, but I do think for paying such a high price there should be a bit more guarantee that you’ll be satisfied with the look (esp. one like dip that will last a while). If you are looking for a very straight forward experience, you know exactly what you want and you’re willing to pay a high price for a pretty basic application, then viva nails will suffice! They did a great jobs technically and I appreciate that they followed all the CDC recommended guidelines.

One of the worst manicures Ive ever gotten -- I was in town on business, and needed a manicure, and Viva Nails was right by my hotel. The salon has a wall of gel nail polish, but not many regular polish colors which felt odd. My technician was incredibly rude -- she rushed so quickly through my manicure and even took a phone call while she was painting my nails. She barely tended to my cuticles, and threw an extremely hot towel on my hands and arms after the 5 second massage which caused my forearms to turn red and tender. Afterwards, she gruffly pointed towards the drying bench, and I asked her if she could bring my belongings over so I wouldnt ruin my nails -- she was still on the phone, and she grabbed my bag and threw it on the floor in the middle of the entryway. This would all be annoying but fine if my nails actually looked decent, but my nails are uneven and have odd ridges, as you can see in the pictures. Im definitely regretting skipping my tried-and-true salon back home and coming here. I only wish there was a way for me to get a refund because this was a total waste.

I have been going to Viva Nails for 2 years now and send all of my friends there. I usually ask for appointments with Robby who is wonderful and I recently got a dip manicure from Amy who is so sweet and chose the absolute perfect color for me after listening to what I wanted. All of the staff are kind and extremely accommodating to their clients even though they can get busy on the weekends. Both Robby and Amy do extremely great work and make me feel special when getting my nails done. I get so many compliments on my nails too. Whenever I do, I recommend they go to Robby and now will also recommend them to see Amy as well. Lovely staff!

They charge $18 for a polish change on your toes and I have never been impressed.

Have been going here for a while now, the man who owns this place is very unprofessional and told me i could not make up my mind when i was trying to do a different color nail design on each finger, when in fact i knew exactly what i was trying to choose but he was to busy playing some game on his phone, they are inconsistent on doing a well job in shape and the length i prefer for my acrylics and have an attitude when i try to explain the length i want. They overcharge so much, it was abt $130 for toe polish change and a dip w acrylic but other places it’s around $75 or so. Would not recommend this place your just getting scammed for your money.

Viva nails is always friendly and accommodating. The salon is clean and comfy, good selection of polish (regular, gel, sns). I feel like they do extra in the massage department when you get a pedicure or manicure! Recently started getting acrylics again, staff is knowledgeable about different nail shapes...ballerina/coffin, almond, oval etc. Im especially loving my most recent fill, my girl Van taking care of me with the nude almond/oval shape hybrid and glitter ombre on the ring fingers!

This is my first visit and I dont know much about nails so you will have to explain to me the steps ahead of time. At the end of completing my nails, the tech was flipping my hand away in a nasty gesture then tells me to go wash. After I washed my hands I sat back down to get my cuticles clean as requested at the beginning. The tech left me sitting so I went to register to pay then she came to ring me out. I reminded her she didnt do my cuticles and asked what all she charged me for. Her attitude was still showing. Once I paid her in cash for my nails she took the money cashed me out and walked away. The Christian I am and again my nails look good. I said to the receptionist, your nail tech have a very nasty attitude could you thank her for doing a wonderful job on my nails and I let her 15 dollars tip with the receptionist and I left. She must be a Trump supporter!!! Update.......hey everyone One bad apple dont stop the show. I have been back two other times after. My last two visits have been wonderful. Savanna was my tec on today and she was much professional and her energy is great. As for my mani and pedi....Beautiful Thanks again VIVa Nails for a welcoming atmosphere

I called to make an apt with Robby and was told he is no longer there. I asked if they knew where he went and they said, “no, someone else can take care of you just as well” and then I was hung up on. Very unprofessional! Finding a nail tech you like is the same as finding someone you like with any other service. Robby is one of the best! He is now at Wonder Nails if anyone else is looking for him. The atmosphere there is a lot less hectic and much more peaceful as well.

I had been going to Viva Nails for over 10 years and although they are good at what they do, they their customer service has declined over the last year. I felt more like another hand/foot, instead of being treated as an individual. I ultimately left in search of another salon that will provide excellent customer service.

Ive been coming here for years to get a pedicure and very satisfied with each visit.

I have been going to this place for little while. They have started charging me extra. They double charged me for my toe removal twice. They don’t listen to you when you complain, you suddenly see 4 or 5 of them interfering with your charge. They are very rude, and try to confuse you with how much your overran price is really supposed to be. They are manipulative with their pricing and I don’t not recommend this place, they overcharge for not even good quality nails.

I always feel safe and taken care of here! Plus my nails always look AMAZING! My favorite nail spot by far!

Finally took the time to get a professional pedicure since moving to Nashville (dont worry- I keep them up myself lol) First, it was very affordable. Shayla at Viva Nails did an incredible job- massaged my feet and calves for what seemed like an hour. The massage chair was ACTUALLY a good one and the pedicure looks fab. I feel like a took a nap. Ill be back!

Viva Nails is absolutely the BEST nail salon in Nashville!!! I have been a loyal customer since it opened in 2013. I travel extensively and have lived in NY, Dallas and Atlanta and I’ve NEVER experienced better service. Their products are top quality. Their equipment sterile and always top of the line! Their skill unmatched. And service top notch! The owner (Vy Vu) and her partner (Jason) offer the most professional and polite service one could ever find. They are so consistent in their customer satisfaction and quality service that their techs are held to the same standards that they hold for themselves. Please DO NOT trust the words of former techs or customers who tell you to follow another tech somewhere. Those techs are often known to go from shop to shop to undermine owners. There’s no place better than Viva Nails. Go and tell them Stacey sent you and see for yourself!

Amy is wonderful! I would highly recommend using her as your tech. Overall, the aesthetic is fine. Some of the staff gets distracted easily and I had someone on their phone while do my nails last time which rubbed me the wrong way. They get the job done though.

Love these folks!!! Mrs. Ruby is a must for a pedicure and Savannah is clutch with taking a theme and running with it for your nails.The staff is friendly and helpful, the shop is always clean and well maintained. Make sure to ask for your glass of red or white wine! 😉

Viva Nails is great! I have been going here for 3+ years. I had tried other places where it seems like you wait endlessly, and it was totally hit or miss on the quality of who does your nails. I have gone to a number of different people over the years, but Vicki is hands down my favorite.Two recommendations:1. If you are going after work, or on the weekend -- make an appointment. It can get very crowded. They do have a sign in system to prioritize who arrived first, which is nice.2. If you pay in cash, you get a small discount on your services.

I haven’t been to a nail salon in a decade, but only decided to go today because it’s my birthday and COVID-19 has me stressed. Called to make an appointment and got Julie. My fiancé and I had a great time here — she’s super sweet and helped us get comfortable. I got a mani/pedi and didn’t feel rushed. The place is really good at keeping clients physically distanced and protected.

Very disappointed with Viva. I got a pedicure today and noticed my toe was smudged 5 minutes after leaving so I went back and the girl just added more polish on top of the smudge instead of fixing my whole toe. After spending $40+ on a basic pedicure, I expect more. My friend got a gel pedicure and walked out spending $70 which didnt even include cuticle trimming!! For the quality and price, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Robby is my duuuuuuude. He’s incredibly nice and efficient. I got a powdered dip manicure and I’m quite picky... but Robby promised that I wouldn’t leave unless I loved the nails. Which I absolutely do! Thanks again, Robby!Other subjective facts-the environment in Viva is lovely and relaxing. Terrible Pedicure- Go somewhere elseA heavy set guy with an earring in his ear did my pedicure. Don’t let him do your Nails. He should Not be doing pedicures. I asked for a French manicure (Pink/White). He did Not use Pink/White & polished my toes like a 3 year old. I told the lady up front that I at-least needed my big toes repainted because they were the worse out of all of my toes. She asked the guy who did it to redo my big toes & he still performed a terrible job. Pedicures are not cheap so they should Not have an inexperience person doing them. I traveled from Hermitage TN to get my toes done there & I won’t be doing that again. The quality of my pedicure was Horrible!!! If the guy with the earring comes over to do your toes-RUN!!!!

I have been coming to Viva nails for almost 4 years. Like everyone we have our preferred technician, but every person in the staff is great and friendly. I love the staff, they always give me what I have in mind. I have never seen anyone be rude to their customers or vise versa. I have however had a time when I came and the people I usually go to were busy, so I had to go with Robby, he was ok- he has rude and his hands hurt my feet. I highly recommend this nail salon. My nails don’t ever lift, my toes never peel and it’s very classy.

Probably one of the worst pedicures I had ever had in my life. Usually I go to Athenian, but they were booked full so decided to try Viva as my friend loves the place. So we go and are able to be seen rather quickly- the whole experience was quick. Apparently, this is what they are known for?.. which is great if you’re short on time, but a pedicure is a pampering session and I expect the tech to take their time to make sure I’m relaxed and also so they do a thorough and amazing job. This was not at all the case yesterday. He sped through from beginning to end. I never had my feet in water for more than 3 minutes (also the tubs/bowls have plastic bags in them which was new to me also), he did not file my nails at all, but just used nail clippers, aggressively was using the tools to clean under my toenails where it actually was a little painful at one point... and I thought he was going to saw off my feet when he was scrubbing the calluses/dead skin... all in all I was in my chair for about 35 minutes where at Athenian- one of the best pedicures I’ve had in Nashville/Brentwood, I was there for about an 1 and 10 minutes. The most positive part of my experience was the complimentary wine and because I paid cash, got 10% off. But with a service like this, I even feel like I overpaid for the quality of work I received. Obviously I won’t be returning and will let my friends know of my horrible experience. P.S. When I got home, I filed my toenails-what the tech should’ve done, but probably forgot because of how fast he was moving.

Depends on what tech you get. Some are in a hurry and do lousy work. I️ attached a photo. Nana was in such a hurry at 4 pm when they close at 6pm, she cut my skin open doing my pedicure. Did a horrible lip wax job. Why would u put wax on my cheek? That not my lip. Ugh. Wasn’t a relaxing experience.

Called to make an appointment with my nail technician Robby, and was told he wasn’t there any longer. They wouldn’t tell me why or where he went. I’ve used others there, and they did an ok job, but he’s the best. If your searching for him, he’s landed at Wonder Nail in Brentwood.

Very poor service by woman called TT. I wanted pedicure/manicure combo. Regular polish. Old gel had to be removed. She kept insisting on me doing gel again. When I repeated I want regular polish combo she looked very annoyed. She charged me extra $15 for that and was very sloppy. . Bad job. Avoid her by all means!

I always have an awesome experience at Viva. I get my acrylics done there every 2-3 weeks and never have any issues with getting an appointment. I’ve also gotten pedis and brow waxes, happy with the results every time. Only nail salon I go to!

Usually love this place but today -not so much. Got my nails done for my graduation. Did a wonderful job on my toes but when I got acrylic gel nails she was not listening when I asked her for a manicure before she began the process and the finished product looks extremely rough. Nails uneven and made me bleed- when I asked her why they didn’t look as good as usual and why I was bleeding her excuse was “your nails are very hard to paint”! Unimpressed today. I’m assuming it’s because I’m younger, when I come in with my mom they always do a great job. TEENS- do not come unless you are with a parent or you will be brushed off not listened to and disrespected.

Tried to make an appt with Robby, but they said he wasnt there. I have found him at Wonder Nails in Brentwood. Nobody at Viva does a great job like he does or is near as friendly. While I went to Viva the few times I did, I honestly question the products they use and if they are not swapped out with something less quality.

I stopped by on a Saturday and they were busy. I was there for a manicure and brow/lip wax. I didn’t have to wait long, however the lady was in a rush. She got wax on my bottom lip and ripped a layer of skin off. Instead of owning her mistake she told me my lips were too dry, which is ridiculous. My lip is bleeding and swollen. I was still charged for the service. My nails look fine, but I would not recommend their waxing services.

I broke a nail and went in to get it fixed; not only did Ruby help me find my matching color, but she did it all for free! It was such a nice gesture and my nail exactly matches the other fingers! This salon exceeded my expectations. The salon is beautifully decorated. There are many stations for nails and also pedicures. Very clean and soothing environment. My pedicure was amazing and included a wonderful foot massage with just the basic package. I’ve never been to a salon that included such an amazing massage! I also had the dip powder for my nails and they turned out beautiful! This salon takes a lot of pride in their work and it shows! Highly recommended if you’re ever in need of mani/pedis.

Best in town. Gel polish stays on and doesn’t chip, service is fast and good. I have been to several nail salons in Greenhills and Brentwood and this is the best. Strong acrylic, gel polish lasts and good service. Prices are good as well.

Pedicure felt extremely rushed and no real massage at all. Polish was put on so thick it took forever to dry. My 7 year old niece got her nails painted as well and the polish on a few of her nails had already peeled off. I guess the tech didn’t dry her nails before painting them. Total rip off for the to polish to peel not even 24 hours later. Only received 2 stars because of the cleanliness of the salon otherwise would be 1 star. But we won’t be back.

I had my nails done and a pedicure and not only was the cost amazing but the service was the best yet! The massage with my pedicure was very relaxing and felt amazing! They have a customer for life now! Ive been to many places but they are the best and the price was not expensive but even if it was would have been well worth it! Im referring everyone I know!
