I have used l&k for about 8 years. The first few years was for my kia and explorer. I had leaking breaks to needing new breaks transmission issues to engine issues. They looked at a few cars I was planning to buy for free because I was experiencing so many issues with my other cars. They were very nice to me every time I called and came in. This last experience I met the owner. He was amazing. Let me check out the old Chevy in the back. Needless to say if I dont have to I wont ever go to any other mechanic. These guys are the best!

I was recommended to come here by my mom and I’m glad I did. I had a routine checkup (“winter special”) for a great price- oil change, filter change, break test, charging test, new coolant, rotate tires. It was nice seeing the check engine light off immediately after getting serviced here. They recommended I change the air filters and that I have a license plate bulb out, but didn’t pressure me into scheduling an appointment. Gave me a quote for how much it would be if I chose to come back. I will definitely be back in the future to get that done. Thanks!

I left this rating in a hurry and forgot about it, so heres some words too:. the reality is I get a much better vibe from LKs than other shops Ive visited. Ive only been there a few times, but I dont feel like theres a lot of hidden or tacked-on costs. And they dont seem to do a lot of costly exploratory work, at least without informing you and giving you the option to opt out. Theyre a little out of my way, but Im going to keep going to them because they seem honest and are friendly.

Steve and Linda are great if questions need answered and with communicating when and if issues arise. I have had many vehicles and have been to many shops but, LKs far outweighs the competition. Also great waiting room and very clean and organized shop from what I saw. Needless to say I have a new pit crew! Keep up the great work guys and gals!

Every one I spoke to was kind and helpful with answering all my questions. They fallowed my request to call me if the repairs got over a certain amount. They gave me a spot in quote.Also while I was there Tonya went above and beyond to help an older lady who was picking up her car, moving the car to right in front of the store, helping the lady up out of the waiting room and into the car.

They were very nice, polite and helpful when fixing my car seat. It was off the track and The boss of the location did a very great job. I appreciate it and I approve.

I have plenty of positive things to say about LK’s Auto Repair. First, I was able to drop off my truck they day before. Second, every time I called there was an answer, if not I left a voicemail and my phone call was returned promptly. Third, customer service and communication are unparalleled. I have been to multiple auto repair shops. They actually handled all of the phone calls between the warranty company and myself, in which has been a nightmare when I had to play the middle man. Lastly, I have never had a vehicle in and out of the shop in three days, from diagnostics to pick up. LK’s WILL have my business for all future repairs.

Did work on my 1990 van that was not authorized. Has caused damage to radiator system. Put a hole in my dash. Said they would replace dash padding. Never heard back. This. Was February 2021

My $26k used diesel turned into a 43k disaster and it all could have been avoided. Took my vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection and they missed a lot of things. They got that I need new brakes, replace a cracked belt, and had dirty transmission fluid. but missed that the car has 3 oil leaks, leaking radiator, rear differential pinion seal leak. This cost me $2800 which they had originally said my truck needed $900 of work. Oh and my transmission ended up being toast 70 miles later and needed $5500 to rebuild. The work they missed ended up costing me $8300 dollars. I ended up buying the car after their inspection and having a lot more wrong with the car then I expected. Like a lot. Really disappointed as The Who point of getting it inspected before buying is to get a better idea of who much I will have to pay to keep it running. I’m lost for words.Follow up: they called me after I left this review and I talked to them about what went wrong that they missed. The lady told me she would look it over and call me back in 30 minutes. I haven’t heard from them since.4weeks later: both my front hubs went out and the rear differential needs rebuilt. Have t even put 500 mules on it and have babied the thing for fear my problems get worse. Lost for words. I’m also 19 and trying to figure out life and now have a cloud of debt looming above my head. Thanks a lot

LKs Auto did a great job fixing up my truck. I took it to three shops before finding these guys and they were the only ones who actually diagnosed and fixed the issues.

Everyone was amazing at LKs! My Santa Fe has major engine issues. Where it needed to be replaced. Even though they didn’t want to they told us we needed to take it to the Hyundai dealership to be able to use the warranty. They hardly charged me anything to do the initial diagnostic tests and told us what was going on. Expected a much bigger bill.I will definitely be coming back here for our other vehicle maintenance and other needed vehicle things.Thank you so much to everyone here! Your the best!

This was my first time choosing LK’s and I wish I had started a lot earlier! Super friendly, got work done same day and were quick to schedule additional work that was needed to be done. Quite a few of my friends have been going to LK’s for years and have never had anything but good things to say.

Well, let me start with the cost of a oil change on my truck was $275 this is not uncommon due to it being a desiel. They did the standard inspection along with it and informed me my back brakes are due and both of my batteries need replaced. Thats all good, the part that upsets me is they also found 2 small light bulbs burned out and they didnt just replace them. Good customer service would be to just replace them or let the customer know before you tell them at check out. If they would look up my records they would have known that the price of a 6 dollar bulb would not have upset me. I expected a bit more.ThanksMel

LK took great care of my MDX for a number of high-mileage related maintenance issues. The service team nailed the issues down even though my explanation of the symptoms were a bit unclear. Provided both a must-do, should-do, and not-needed list of items related to my complaints. Car was returned faster than expected and is driving nicely. They were great! I had done research on the repairs for my Ford Escape, I needed the combo transmission cooler and AC condenser replaced as it was not holding a charge and causing a small transmission fluid leak. They were able to get the repairs done in a few days.

They were able to diagnose why my check engine light was on and get that sensor replaced in that same day. They had me in and out in a jiffy, and they are just one of the best places that I have ever taken my vehicle to for repairs!

Keith is always so helpful, upfront and honest. I have needed several things done and they were on top of it. They dont try to sell you repairs and items you dont need. I have been going here for over 5 years and I will never use another auto shop. They also have an amazing technician named Tonya! Shes so knowledgeable, friendly and squeezed my SUV in. Give that woman a raise, she has stellar customer service. And last but not least Linda, drove me home while my vehicle was repaired. She is so friendly and just makes you feel welcome. This shop is tucked away a hole in the wall but this little gem of a shop is so wonderful. I cant sing their priases enough.

I would return for service again. I explained that I had to have the car back in 4 days fixed or not. It was complicated. Explained that the engine started to run very choppy at start-up during idling and acceleration and I was very concerned about it stalling out while on the road. I had a necessary trip planned. During the the test drive the preliminary diagnosis was that it was missing on a cylinder. In the shop diagnostics proved this correct. I was impressed with the accuracy of the preliminary diagnosis. Within 24 hours parts were found, the car was repaired & I was on my way. There is a guarantee.

Good, honest mechanics can be so hard to find. I went to LKs after a recommendation from a trusted mobile mechanic who spoke very highly of Keith and his team at LKs. After bringing my 2000 F150 to them I can absolutely see that the praise was deserved! Keith kept me in the loop through every bit of the process. My truck needed a lot of work done, and Keith made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions before proceeding. He even comped some of the work and gave me a discount because of how much work my truck needed.I would go out of my way to bring any of my vehicles to LKs and strongly recommend them! I will add that I had brought my truck to one other mechanic before LKs, who spewed off a bunch of stuff I didnt think my truck needed. Keith set that record straight and only performed the necessary work and made recommendations for things which may not be crucial.I really cannot say enough good about LKs. Theyre really great!

Incredibly friendly, helpful, and nice. Repeatedly spent several minutes helping me to understand exactly what was going on with my car, what it would cost to fix it, and whether or not it would be worth it in the first place. One of the few mechanic places whose owners still have a fully-intact soul-- they easily could have tried to upsell me into a nearly $4000 repair job, but instead opted to spend their time letting me know the different options, price ranges, and benefits to said options. Theyve got a customer for life from me and my family.

Went in to get my engine light checked out to find out what the problem was, they performed many tests to find out what it could be and called to keep me informed threwout the process. I would reccomend them to anyone that needs help with their car

LK is one of only two safe options to take your vehicle in to get fixed in Kitsap. They are honest. Not the cheapest, definitely not the most expensive. But in a way dishonesty is the most expensive so maybe they are the least expensive.Fancy math aside. I recommend the place.

6/17/21 The only reason I am not dropping my rating to a 1 star is because of their past work but they completely dropped the ball on my repair this week! I brought in a part from my non-mobile truck and asked them to repair it. They said they couldnt get to it for several days. The day of the appointment came and went without even a phone call. When I contacted them they hadnt even looked at the part and after they did, they told me I can buy the parts and do it myself.6/15/20 I am happy with the service I have received on my SUV. They seem honest and straightforward on diagnosis. The repairs have been completed quickly and correctly. They even stood behind their warranty and fixed a second problem that caused the check engine light to re light right after I picked it up. However they could do a better job of not getting the interior of my car dirty.

From the nice, clean bathroom to the comfortable waiting room with snacks I felt welcome at LKs.The thing that hit home most for me was the way they took care of my alignment. I have an Audi S4 and Im extremely finicky about who works on it. I was referred to LKs from another tire shop and Im so glad they sent me over.The man who did my alignment (I think his name is Frank) was a real pro and genuinely loved my car. He is an expert with European vehicles (I understand they also have an expert with American models as well) and the knowledge I gained about my vehicle just in speaking with him was quite expansive. I am absolutely certain they will do an amazing job with the items I will be returning to have done.The prices are very reasonable and I love supporting high quality local small business. Use these folks, you wont regret it.

I was concerned about how I was going to be able to get new brakes since I live in a one-vehicle household and work extensive hours. I was out sick for work this week and on a day when I was feeling slightly better, I made a call to LKs Auto to get some pricing info. Ive been to LKs before and always had positive experiences there so I knew Id go to them for my brake service. The customer service that I was provided was incredible. Jo from LKs Auto actually came to pick up my vehicle from my home, perform the brake inspection the next day, and complete my service without me having to do much more than answer my phone a few times and wipe my car key off with an anti-bacterial wipe. I was so worried how I was going to make it all work and I just am amazed at the above and beyond level of customer service LK went to, picking up my vehicle from my home, dropping it back off, and even taking my payment by phone when I was too ill to leave the house. Even more than that was that I was given a lot of diagnostic information about my vehicle and the service wasnt nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be. Now, I dont have to miss any more work to get my service done. Everything about this service and transaction was just ideal, ideal, ideal. I am just so grateful, impressed, and absolutely highly recommend this place.

About 6 months ago, I had experienced a loss in power in my pickup while on a fishing trip with my son. We pulled off the highway and found an auto repair shop. They told us it was probably extensive damage and couldnt do the work at that time. But they gave some suggestions, including the dealership (or as others refer to as stealership). We limped our way back to Kitsap county and found a dealership who gave the truck a quick look over, threw some numbers together and gave an estimate that blew me away - $3,000! Holy cow. I didnt know what to do, so I made an appointment to come back in and have it fixed 3 weeks later.A couple days later, I called a friend who owns Kitsap Mobile Mechanic and Repair to get a quote from him. He explained that I should check out an auto repair shop called LKs Auto Repair Inc. He gave rave reviews of their work, their integrity, their shop, and their customer service.So I called them up and explained all that was happening. They took a few hours to look at the truck (in comparison to the dealership, who only looked at it for 30 minutes). They took it for. a test drive, investigated with other auto repair shops or mechanics, and shared that they didnt think that the problems were associated with what the dealership stated.They gave me a reasonable estimate that included a discount and gave me time to consider it. No pressure.A couple days later, I cancelled my appointment with the dealership and took the truck to LKs Auto. It was a 3-4 day repair, so I left it over Thanksgiving weekend. Keith invested his own time on a holiday weekend to work on the truck - and that impressed me so much.When I got the call to come pick it up, he took me through everything that was done and showed me the problems that the truck was experiencing. His diagnosis was correct, he fixed the issues, and since then - the truck has run smoothly.Thats why our family will be doing business with LKs Auto for years to come.

Being new to the area I had to find an auto shop to take the car to for oil changes and maintenance and what not. LKs was recommended to me by a friend in the area and I am very pleased with the customer service I have received and the honesty from the mechanics about my vehicle. I also love how they send email reminders for oil changes and servicing and their are a couple coupons for discounted oil changes. At the end of the day LKs does a great job and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are a absolute rip off!! They screwed me on price. When I called the owner out on it he became rude and forced me to leave. A part that cost 20.00 at autozone and only 85.00 at he dealer they charged me 384.00 stay away! They will screw you

They will allow you to bring your own part and they will install it for you! Their customer service is fantastic. They will give you a ride to and from your home. They will take the time to explain the bill. Been a loyal customer for the past two years now.Update: I needed a tire patched which is usually free at most places. LK no longer offers this service.

Honest mechanic, what more could you say?They have a really nice waiting room, would be perfect, if they added phone chargers.In the past I know that they offered a drop off service too. I havent used it recently, so dont know if they still do, I would think so, because they are super customer oriented.

My Volvo broke down on the freeway near Bremerton. We chose LKs to do the work. I was immediately impressed by the courtesy and empathy shown by the office staff. And I could see that the shop is very clean and very neat. The mechanic diagnosed the problem and did the work and the car is running great. I wholeheartedly recommend this repair shop.

Update: quality service on my vehicle.---‐----Called yesterday(Wednesday) to schedule for service/inspection. The guy on the phone said tomorrow at 2pm and we agreed to that. Came tomorrow, which is now Thursday. Came in then the guy said No sir, its for Friday.Sure...What can I do, right?Been going here for a couple years and thats the first unpleasant experience.

I moved to Poulsbo last year and had yet to find a mechanic. Naturally, my car decided that now was the time to make sure I found one. After a lot of reading, calling and emailing, I decided to go to LKs Auto.They diagnosed my car quickly and provided a reasonable estimate. We scheduled the service, they ordered the parts and off we went. I explained that I was going out of town and needed my car back the same day. Got my car back in time for my trip, paid LESS than the original estimate and everything is great. Ive had good and bad experiences with mechanics and this was one of the best Ive had.I would recommend them to anyone!

I really like LKs Auto Repair. I have a large Ford E450 Grooming Van and very few places have the bays to handle it. They changed my oil recently and it was very fast - in and out for a busy person. And, earlier when I had some issues the mechanic looked at it and instead of charging me to handle - told me the easy fix - which worked. They care about helping the person, not just about taking your money which appreciate!

My friend brought there perfectly starting truck here and we pick it up today to a bad starter..like are you fon Serious and then wanted to charge 700 dollars JUST to look at it as there are NOW MANY things wrong with it. Smh never again

I first found LKs after a cross country road trip. They made sure my car was in great shape - they are fast, friendly and do great work. Joe always knows me when I call and I appreciate the fact that he sits down with me and goes over whats good and what needs work. Ive moved a town away but still go there for service.
