I cant say enough about the service and professionalism Abel, Mark and Samuel provided. I came in for an oil change 45 minutes before closing and they took care of it. Super nice guys, I would highly recommend this Pep Boys service center. I will definitely be going back and continue recommending them. Thanks again guys!

We have a fleet account here for my work and they have been great for that. Im very skeptical of any shop I take my personal vehicles to (both are built by me and classics) but unfortunately I didnt have the time to do some work on my 1985 pickup. They got me in next day, informed me of every step, didnt take advantage of the fact that Im a female, sidnt push any extra work on me (which they easily could have, its a project truck), and even though it ended up needed a few more things it was still done at a reasonable time. Abel is great, and I would trust taking either of my babies there any day.

No Stars if possible - Went in to get a tire repair - 4 guys standing around jaw jacking and 1 car in the bay. Said it would be 2-3 hours just to get to it. No other cars were there - no other customers in the building. When I saw that I understand why. SMH - another example of poor customer service.

I only let mark and this location work on my vehicles. I appreciate all the work he and his staff do for me. They are the best in town!

I brought my vehicle in because the alternator was bad and I needed an oil change. I spoke with both Mark and Abel while at the front desk and advised they could also give me a new battery if necessary. When I received a call back the next day I was advised only the alternator belt and battery needed to be replaced. I paid left and noticed not only did they not do the oil change but my radio still wasnt working. I let them know and they asked that I bring the car back another time. Well when I tried to bring my car back a few days later it was completely dead. I called and spoke with Abel who asked me what was wrong. I told him its the same as before as they didnt fix anything. Abel asked me what was wrong and I started my car was completely dead 3x while he spoke over me. Im just disappointed.

Mark and staff were extremely helpful & courteous. He gave me all the information I needed to make my service appointment exceptional.

Good and bad. The Good: They made time for me even though they said they were busy. The bad: They charged me twice. Stated I took out my debit card too early, even though it said purchase had gone thru. I was charged again. I had to call my bank and dispute one of the charges. I am not happy with the double charge.

Never had a bad experience here. The staff seems honest and doesnt sell me things I dont need. I will be back again soon.

Really happy with my experience at this shop! Got 2 new tires put on at Sams Club and noticed a propeller like sound coming from my tires after. I asked them to check it out and they told me it could be my brakes, etc. Didnt bother to check the car.Took my car over to Pep Boys. They put it on the lift and checked EVERYTHING. Discovered there was a rock inside my tire that was making that sound! They removed the rock for me and sent me on my way. Super pleased with their thoroughness and honesty - especially being a woman who doesnt know much about cars!Will be returning here for my future car repair needs! Thank you.

I brought my vehicle in to have a tire repaired under warranty. They told me they couldnt get to me today and tried making excuses about they cant get staff. So I took my business to Seffner Tire, and even with a line and 3 employees, they got me taken care of in an hour. With car repair places it common to feel shafted. And violated its with great delight I write this review best experience I’ve ever had !!!! From the first phone call to driving out after my work was done 100% professional, honesty kindness two people who worked with pride and skill wow don’t know who owns it but keep theses two on staff they will build your company to levels beyond your dreams. For some reason you can book an appointment for 9am when they dont open until 10am. Sat in the parking lot at 8:50 when another vehicle pulls up a little after 9. At 9:10 after seeing no sign of any employees in the shop I got to the front door to find its locked. I go back to my car to wait. After another 10 minutes the guy in the other car gets out and unlocks the front door and goes inside. I walk inside and tell him that I have an appointment for 9am and he says they are closed and wont be open until 10am. Horrible service. 1 I should not have be given the option of selecting a 9am appointment if they dont open until 10am and 2 when I walked up to the front door the first time the guy in the other car who I found out was the employee could have told me then that they open at 10 instead of making me wait another 10 minutes. I would rather spend more money then to ever come back to this place.

I went to this pep boys off of 60 and Parsons. I have never been HAPPIER with the total outcome when taking my car to a shop, until I came here! They gave me a great deal on a new set of tires and rims! They were very quick through the whole process and informed me about every step! The customer service was 10/10. I honestly would not of changed a single thing. But I wish I found this pep boys earlier because now I’ll be taking my My baby (2006 Honda Accord) all the time for oil change and etc. Can’t say thank you enough! SUPER happy with everything!

I have gone here to get work on my car and everytime I come out very satisfied with their customer service and efficiency. It is not often that you go somewhere and people actually enjoy their jobs and helping others, in here it seems as if they care just as much as you do. The mechanic asked me to call him after driving it to make sure it was running right!

I had an appointment for a tire change and they got me in and worked on my vehicle immediately upon my arrival, even though I was ten minutes early. I went to this Pep Boys as it is close to Car tunes, another business I have recently encountered. I sopke with Jeremy and Lance specifically who were very easy to speak with and fair with the prices. I went on two different occasions speaking to them independently and on the day i was grtting my car repaired they both were there. One occaision I had my car inspected Lance called to tell me exactly what i needed much quicker than I had anticipated. I set a date to have my car worked on and one that day spoke Jeremy whk told me they had to order parts and that they would call me once finished. To my surprise they called a lot sooner than i expected. Although this is Pep Boys this is a hidden gem, go speak to these gentlemen to get your car repaired. If you are in management and reading this, please recognize these guys!

Was broke down due to a locked up caliber and happen to pull in the shop… They got me taken care of within a couple hours and they worked hard to find the parts and get it done even though they had other vehicles to work on… Really appreciate these guys helping out a stranded motorist.

The median came out of no where! But thank goodness for this Pep Boys and Jeremy. It was a Sunday, so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get home over 30 miles away on a donut tire. They were open and I was so grateful. In and out in less than 20 minutes, Great price on the tire, and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced at an auto place. The facility was clean, cool on a hot day, and came equipped with episodes of Friends on the TV. Highly recommend this Pep Boys location for all of your auto needs!

This place is is very professional and speedy. i took my car in there the other week because i ripped my splash shield on a parking barrier, they took my splash shield off and popped my bumper back on for free. Im always going to take my car here.

Thank you to Jeremy Carpenter and his staff for taking such great care of me this week. Even though they were able to tackle my oil change quickly (I sat in the waiting room long enough to send one work email) I still had the chance to see Jeremy in action taking incredible care of other clients in the shop including an elderly woman that was blown away by his service, low prices, and the fact that he took the time to explain the repair to her. Jeremy also took me into the shop before lowering my vehicle to give me a heads up on my worn out tires and then gave me a quote for my tires that was drastically lower than the quote I recently received from another local shop. Another plus was the fact that the waiting room and garage were clean and welcoming :) I will be returning to this shop for my tires and a hitch installation in the near future and will also be servicing my fiances truck here. So excited to find a knowledgeable, trustworthy, caring, and well-priced shop so close to home. Thank you guys!!!!!

Amazing customer service. Mark is great. They do their best to fit you in and give you the best pricing. I have a protection plan on 3 of my tires I purchased here. I was waiting for them to open up at 730am. I was in n out in 10 min and I wasn’t late for work. Do not go to the other Brandon PepBoys location - 1747 w. Brandon blvd - you’d think since its corporately owned they have the same level of customer service but no, a world of a difference.

Ive liked this Pepboys for a while, Ive told coworkers, neighbors, friends and family to go here because they take care of you. Unfortunately that ended when I recently had a horrible experience with Mark. Had my vehicle in, dropped it off on a Monday, spoke with the another service writer and was told that we can do the work, we just need to wait a day or two to get our expert in this vehicle inMark came in, decided that they didnt want to touch my vehicle and told the mechanics not to work on it. I didnt find this out until the following Sunday when I came in to find out why I hadnt heard anything about my vehicle and had not had any calls returned. Apparently on Thursday Mark decided that they didnt want to work on it and decided not to call me or try to contact me in any way. When I got there and spoke to him he said that they werent equipped to do the job and it was too difficult of a problem for them to fix. He then mentioned at least 3 times that if I had this at my place Id be able to take care of it. I asked what he meant and he said that if he was able to work on it at his house hed be able to fix it.On top of all of that, when I took it to another shop they fixed it in about 4 hours and assured me that any ASE certified tech should have been able to do the job with no special tools.I was not informed of the status of my vehicle for four days. I had to rent a car for four days to get around because of Mark.I was told that if I paid him off the books at his house that hed be able to do the job.I later found out that the job could have easily been done at this location.I will never return to this location. I have told everyone that Ive previously recommended my story and all of them have agreed that there are better shops to go to now.Ill return when Mark leaves

Mark was a great manager and led me in the right direction with my aging car. He gave me great advice and was very kind-hearted as well as all of the technicians at this shop. If you want honest service, then I highly recommend you go see Mark at Pep Boys.

Went to get my oil changed and the service was excellent, Jeremy was super friendly and very informative and really easy to work with. I will no longer go anywhere else for any of my car needs! There was another guy there by the name of Mark, I found him to be a bit rude and abrasive, the demeanor he spoke to me in was not of a professional quality. So I was very pleased when Jeremy came to assist me instead! I will only deal with him!

I needed tires and an alignment badly. I called on a Sunday and was initially told on the phone that they might not be able to get me done the same day. When I got to store, Jeremy told me they could have it done within a few hours and actually had it done in 2 hours and the alignment was spot on! Also they had a great sale on a highly rated tire and I appreciated that they included the alignment cost in the quote. The price for the tires and service was better than most and the same day service was a big plus. Thanks again to Jeremy and the techs there. Certainly plan to be back again.

My tire was losing pressure, bought it from this store. The manager was courteous and professional. He looked over the tire, deemed it couldn’t be repaired and went out of his way to call to make sure it didn’t have a warranty, which it did under my husbands phone number. He replaced my entire tire free of charge. Exceptional service at this location with Mark Pope the manager. Highly recommend.

Mark has been working on my vehicles for years. He is straight forward and honest on everything.

Pep boys never lets me down you can go in any day of the week and theyll take care of you in a way that you dont expect. Get a flat on a Sunday they will hook you up with the tire at any point in the day even if its 5 minutes before closing. On top of that theyll help you get a tow truck fast and theyll take it off your bill when I brought it there the managers are cool employees are knowledgeable highly recommended

I went to the store to change one of the tires in my car and I didn’t know that they charge extra for tire installation, $45. I always went to Walmart to get the tires and it was not like that, and if Walmart charge for installation I guess is a minimum amount. Now, the tires and change oil Department is closed due to Covid-19, is so sad.

Not a big ‘reviewer’, but decided to leave a review-since I was so impressed.I wasn’t sure what to expect, being it was my first time at this location (Brandon, Fl). I’ll be honest here & say that it’s not the kind of place, where you walk in and are greeted with big smiles ...and a ‘welcome! How may we help you today?’.However, that is quickly overshadowed by a more ‘get er done’ mentality (which is fine with me).The guy who took care of us was Jordan. He was very kind- yet to the point. No tricky sales or trying to talk me into buying anything unnecessary. These guys are quick, efficient & honest. I’d recommend them to anyone I know!

I have never been treated so well in a service center before. Usually going into a place like this I feel super out of place but they were very clear in what they were going to be doing for me and that is very much appreciated. Thank you to the guys at pep boys for making my oil change so much faster than ever before and even going the extra mile to turn a feature on in my car that I didn’t even know was there (an automation telling me when it’s due rather than using the stickers)!

Jordan and his staff were great! Didnt even know Pep Boys was here... Its kind of hidden pass by it every day was referred by Auto Parts since they couldnt help me. Jordan was helpful and their staff was fast in taking care of car on a Saturday no less. BUYER BEWARE!! If i could give 0 stars I would. I called and gave a gentleman my year, make, model and asked for an estimate. He said it wouldnt be the $99 dollar special and it would be more like $120 per axle instead for brake pads, turned rotors, and changing brake fluid since the car was not a basic car. After arriving, they put my car up on the rack and brought me out to see the wear for myself which was normal wear for a 2 year old car with 48,000 miles on it. I go back in and have a seat in the waiting room and a slick salesman (dress pants, dress shoes, polo, slicked back hair) came back in the waiting room, which I have not seen up to this point, and asked if I was ready for my bill. I said what bill, I only asked for an estimate. The bill came out to $1181 which included brakes, pads and rotors all the way around. I said that this price is higher than what I was quoted from the dealer and something isnt right here. I said that wasnt what I was quoted over the phone and that I just wasted an hour of my time. He said that he never talked to me on the phone and that I wasted an hour of his time too and that I have no right to be upset. At this point, the conversation was well over heated. The slick salesman stated that he can put 30 dollar pads on the car and send me on my way but he didnt think I wanted 30 dollar pads. I stated that I gave somebody my year, make, model over the phone and you were willing to put 30 dollar pads on it then now werent you. I told the salesman to put my tires back on my car and that I would never come back. The salesman and I were steaming at this point. Luckily, there were no customers in the shop (imagine that)! I went outside to make sure that my car wasnt tampered with as he got in and backed the car out of the garage. I will never do business with this company due to shady bait and switch sales techniques. I see that this company has an issue with this as there are numerous other reviews out there that state the same thing. This company needs to change how it does business or it needs to be shut down. I have already reported this company to the better business bureau. I would also like to add that I went and had the same job done elsewhere for less than half the price!

This location is recently under new management and the positive changes are obvious. If youre looking for excellent work, fair prices and courteous service this is the best shop in Brandon. Ive taken my car here a few times recently and have never been disappointed. The store manager goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are taken care of. Great all-around shop!

I went in needing brake service and expected to pay a couple hundred dollars but came out with perfect brakes and a much lighter pocket book. Overall, each of the men I dealt with from Manager to Technician were professional and polite. When I was told that the repair would cost much more than expected the issues where immediately shown and explained to me. Owning and maintaining a vehicle is never cheap. When it comes to systems on a vehicle like brakes it is much more important to keep them working properly than it is to put other people on the road in danger! If you want the job done right I recommend the staff at the Just Brakes Brandon location.

Store manager Johnathan was a lifesaver. Ordered tires from another store and when it was time to install the other store could not remove the lug nut and referred me to Pep Boys. Called the store and Johnathan was able to fix the issue with my car and install my tires in a timely matter. Very pleased with the service both the technician and the store manager provided. We were at the shop during our short lunch break to get my fathers tire flat repair. Within minutes, Mark and the staff has taken on the job and promptly repaired the flat tire so I can get before lunch break ends. Thanks for your professionalism and fast services. I took my car in for a tune up. Check engine light was not on. my car drove smooth and i told them i was experiencing a very slight rumble in park. I come pick the car up and they say my catalytic converter is bad. So i get in the car my car is shaking like the engine is going to blow up and the check engine light is now on. Unbelievable for a company to send you away with the car running 10x worse than when you brought the car in.

I found this place by mistake but so happy I did. I make an appointment online so I don’t have to wait. The waiting room is nice and quite. There’s a nice restaurant within walking distance that has nice food. The guy told me I need a new air filter and told me to go to Walmart bc it would be cheaper. They don’t try to get money out of you or try to pressure you to get services.

I took my hellcat charger in with a flat tire and I was extremely impressed with the work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will go out of my way to go back.

I have been too Just Brakes a few times and actually had my brakes replaced where I was satisfied. The staff on my trip there were very curtious and helpful and explained to me everything I needed to know and gave me an option on extra purchases. My brakes have a squeak when I brake in town and was told that it is normal but now will be going in again as it is constant and will see if they will fix the problem.

Went in there to get the rear brake job done,just pads and rotors. We just moved here so I didnt have my tools with me. So they thought i didnt know what I was talking about. They tried charging me 500 dollars. I laughed. Went into the office and told the manager I didnt appreciate being treated like a moron. He then cut it in half to 250!! Since he already lost my trust I told to screw himself. So this is for the hard working people of Florida, DO NOT PAY OVER 250 FOR PADS AND ROTORS!! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED! CRIMINALS.

I have an old Blazer and it gives me trouble from time to time and since I started coming to this store they always help me out. He is fair, honest about what is “necessary” and what was “good to do.” I have traveled 30 minutes out of my way for his custom care which is big for me because I hate Brandon traffic lol. Best Customer Service I have encountered in a very, very long time. They are honest and kind.I had used them on another vehicle a few years ago with a very positive experience, so naturally when i needed brake pads, i went back there.i went in with a grinding sound on my right rear tire and the technician told me my caliper was twisted (which is not normal) and suggested I take it to the dealership to see if it could be covered under my warranty...which it WAS!I am so thankful for their honest help and forthrightness.I can assure you that when i need brake pads in the future, i will most definitely be going to Just Brakes on E. John (the new manager), is a great guy. One who displays customer service/relations to the fullest. During my most recent visit he went into detail to explain the issues with my vehicle rather than just telling me stuff was wrong and how much it would cost.

Wanted to write this review to let everyone know that they need to this shop for all their car needs best customer service I’ve ever experienced in the automotive industry!! Wanted to give a special shoutout to two individuals who went above and beyond for me and my truck that be Jeremy store manager and toro the technician. Jeremy went above and beyond to make sure i was getting the best tire for my truck and for the best price and next toro this man did a full inspection oil change air filter and 4 new tires and had me out the door in 1 hr and 15 mins I was truly impressed very smart and informative he explained the inspection to me from top to bottom . All and all I will say best automotive shop in Florida thank you again Jeremy and toro I will be back and refer plenty of people ..

Jeremy is pretty cool, hes a White Sox fan but, always helps me out!

That place is a mess. I know its a mechanic but having trash all over the place is just gross. The big guy, John swears like a sailor. I was there with my kids and again, its a mechanic but saying the F bomb and G*d damn is a bit much. Add to that he tried to tell me my oil was bone dry after the other guy told me I was a bit low made me very uncomfortable with the honesty of the employees. The shop stated I needed new rotors, mine arent very old, and I knew I was being lied to. I told them to put my car back together. I went to a competitor and had no problem getting a simple brake job and my rotors are fine. I had a similar experience there about 6 years ago. Would be a 5 star however the problem was not fixed and I had to buy a battery which was unrelated to the problem.
