We’ve done several renovation projects – two bathrooms and a kitchen “re-fresh” with Mark DeJong and have been thrilled with the results. After one of our bathroom remodels he came to inspect the project with us to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We couldn’t find one issue with anything in the bathroom but Mark pointed to the very small screws that were decorative parts of the light sconces and said he didn’t think they were right. I had to assure him that we were okay with the screws. That’s the level of detail that you can expect when working with Mark.

It was an easy choice to hire Mark Dejong Builders! We were challenged to find a builder who could remodel our franchised salon within a very short period of time. We are open seven days a week and needed to have it completed as soon as possible. Within the first week after our initial conversation with Mark, he assessed our job, brought in all the subs to assess the job and had a detailed quote to us. Very impressive. In September of last year, my wife and I discovered a buckling in our wood floors in the kitchen area. What seemed like a very minor issue to our untrained eye, turned out to be serious water damage beneath the surface of our home throughout the kitchen area. Our insurance adjuster was incredibly helpful and told us to make sure we get the best general contractor we could find to solve the issue. We did just that by calling Mark DeJong. Not only was he and his staff incredibly thorough with their initial assessment, paperwork and overall communication, they went above and beyond to get the job done earlier than was initially anticipated, and we were able to move back into our home right before Christmas instead of mid-January. Every cost was itemized, every task was documented and I can’t remember a time when I did not get a call back or an email response within 24 hours. With my wife and I and our two young daughters having to be out of our home for over 7 weeks, this level of professionalism, intention and care was exactly what we needed.
