Just had Luis from Cone Appliances out to replace the ice maker in my new Samsung refrigerator under warranty and I couldn’t ask for better service. They were prompt, thorough and very professional. The following day I received a follow up call from the technician making sure we were 100% satisfied with the product and the repair.Being in the electronics business for almost 40 years, I know electronic products can and do fail but it’s how the problem is handled that matter most. Cone appliance didn’t make the refrigerator but they were right there fix it and make it right. Thanks for a great job
Avoid Cone at all cost. The other terrible reviews are spot on go literally anywhere else for appliance work. Dishwasher quit working, scheduled warranty work through GE. GE sent Cone. Guy showed up and said the issue was the hot water coming to the dishwasher was not hot enough. The dishwasher has worked fine for 8 months with the same hot water it has always received. The issue is clearly the heating element in the dishwasher and Cone now refuses to do any work or order any parts until I get a plumber out to my house. What is a plumber going to do about my broken dishwasher? Called several times about the issue and was told I would receive a call back, never heard from them. Called final time and was told nothing would be done, no warranty work, no parts ordered until I called a plumber. Im at a loss. How nobody at that company understands the issue is beyond me. Also, they will not let you talk to the head tech or give out his phone number.
Excellent customer service from beginning to end. Service company was communicative, prompt, knowledgeable, and made this unfortunate experience into a positive one.
We were very pleased with the service. The technician was timely, neat and courteous. I would seek this company out for our next service need.
I have left 4 Voicemails, sent an email requesting assistance after being serviced. We had a technician come out and replace the ice maker on our fridge last Friday 7/16/21. We still have yet to see the ice tray fill up. I do not understand why they have not contacted me yet after leaving several Voicemails and being very clear with details as to the service provided. Ive been very clear and thorough as to where the service was provided, my name, my phone number the issue we encountered, etc. I see they are prompt to respond to negative reviews, but honestly I do not have anything negative to say about the technician. I am in Louisiana and would like someone to contact me as soon as possible.Edit: Perhaps this email that was sent to me and that reference number might allow you to locate the account.
This company is horrible. I scheduled a appointment through Samsung for a particular date. Then a week later I received a text from Cone Appliance. They wanted to confirm my appointment. They change it to the following week. When I would respond they would take several days to respond back. I agreed to the later appointment date. We scheduled a time of 12-5. The day before the appointment I received a email confirming my appointment but now the time is 3-7. I was not happy about this at all for we didnt want someone in our house at 7 at night. Anyways we waited the next day for someone to show. No one ever showed up and no one called to tell us no one was coming. Ive texted the number back with no response. Ive called their number to only wait on hold forever with no one ever answering. This company is very unprofessional and I cant even believe someone as large as Samsung would even use them. I called Samsung this morning and got my service changed to a new company. I would advise anyone who is assigned Cone Appliance to change immediately so you can save yourself the trouble...
I have a samsung refrigerator, the inner gasket needed replacing, called Samsung, received a call from Cone appliance, they wanted 300.00 dollars just to come to the door, did not include supplies, and only for an hour!! Called Samsung to let them know about it!!!!
Do not use them they are thiefs they got paid by samsung and are now trying to charge me woman at the front desk is rude she will leave u on hold then hang up reporting this company. And they are so rude try even calling them it takes 15 min to get a hold of some one then immediately put on hold and jerked around 1-10 I would give them Negative 10
AVOID CONE APPLIANCE AT ALL COST, JUST READ THEIR REVIEWS:EDITED AGAIN ON 03/09/2021 IN RESPONSE TO CONE APPLIANCES LIES: YALL ARE DELUSIONAL, HE DIDNT WASH A LOAD OF CLOTHES IN IT. YOURE RIGHT, IT WAS OPERATIONAL, BUT HE INFORMED ME NOT TO WASH ON HIGH SPIN, EVEN ON NORMAL SPIN IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO EXPLODE, PRETTY SURE MY NEIGHBORS COULD HEAR WHEN I DID A LOAD OF LAUNDRY. HE TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT HE WAS GOING TO SEE IF THE WARRANTY PLAN WOULD BUY IT OUT, HE TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT WE SHOULD HEAR SOMETHING BY MONDAY OR TUESDAY, I WAITED TO WEDNESDAY, AND THE WARRANTY COMPANY HADNT HEARD ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE CASE WAS CLOSED. THEY REACHED OUT TO CONE, BUT THEY COULDNT GET IN TOUCH WITH CONE. THANKFULLY THEY JUST REIMBURSED ME FOR MY WASHER, BUT IT WASNT BECAUSE OF CONE.ITS REALLY SAD THAT EVERY COMPLAINT ON HERE THE OWNER COMES BACK CALLING THE CUSTOMER A LIAR, OR TELLING THE CUSTOMER THEY ARE WRONG. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES THIS? NOT A BUSINESS WHO IS IN BUSINESS TO HELP THE CUSTOMER. I REALLY HOPE PEOPLE LOOK AT ALL OF THESE REVIEWS, AND STOPS USING THIS COMPANY. I REALLY HOPE WARRANTY COMPANIES LOOK AT REVIEWS BEFORE DECIDING TO USE CONE APPLIANCE. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE COMPANY IVE EVER USED.EDITED TO RESPOND TO CONES RESPONSE:NO, YOU DIDNT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. YOUR SERVICE GUY MADE IT WORSE. WHEN I WASH A LOAD OF LAUNDRY IT SOUNDS LIKE MY WASHER IS GOING TO EXPLODE. HE WAS SUPPOSE TO SEE IF CONE COULD GET ME A REFUND. CONE DROPPED THE BALL, AND DIDNT TAKE CARE OF THAT. I HAD TO CONTACT A SUPERVISOR WITH THE HOME DEPOT PLAN. SHE TRIED TO CONTACT CONE MULTIPLE TIMES, AND NEVER COULD SPEAK TO ANYONE. SHE IS THE ONE WHO GOT THE PROBLEM RESOLVED, AND REFUNDED ME FOR THE WASHER. CONE APPLIANCE IS THE WORSE COMPANY IVE EVERY DEALT WITH, AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. IF YOU USE THEM, PLEASE EXPECT YOUR APPLIANCE TO BE WORSE OFF THAN BEFORE. JUST READ THESE REVIEWS.The clutch went out on my washer, the guy came out to fix it yesterday, replaced the clutch, but the first load after the repair, the agitator came up. Immediately called, and he informed me he would be back out yesterday afternoon, and never called or showed up. Earliest he can get out now is Wednesday. Horrible customer service from Cone Appliance and Samsung. They’ve done nothing to quickly to resolve THEIR mistake. 😡 I was able to wash small loads before, but now I cant wash anything.
I’m not the one to leave a review even after a little of trouble out of a business, but this one was just absolutely ridiculous. I had a Samsung fridge stop cooling, so I called Samsung to schedule a repair. Samsung said that cone appliance is the repair center for my region. Samsung said they would be scheduled to come look at it that following Friday. Cone called to confirm a date and said that they could not get to me until two weeks later. I responded with “Samsung said that your company was coming out this following Friday.” The receptionist said very rudely, “Samsung does NOT dictate their scheduling.” So with that being said they came when they decided to come two weeks later and sent a technician out that literally hooked his phone to my fridge and called Samsung and told them the problem and that he could not fix the problem. Once he left he was suppose to turn in the final paper work for Samsung to come repair the fridge. After three days of waiting, I finally called Samsung myself to check the status of getting it repaired and they responded with they never received the final work status on the unit to call come and get them to resend it. So, I called cone back and told them the situation and the receptionist once again was rude again saying that it was sent over. I finally spoke with the office manager and he made sure that he was the office manager and that it was taken care of which it wasn’t and said that Samsung “straight up lied to my face”. So I asked him if he could just simply resend the work order back. His reply was “I’ll handle it in 15 minutes” and literally hung the phone up on me. Next day I called Samsung to check the status again, and Samsung had to try to find some other appliance service place because apparently cone had refused to service me. Long story short my fridge is still broke and supposedly I’m waiting on a refund through Samsung after a month of not having a fridge. I DO NOT recommend cone appliance for anything and the other 100+ bad reviews agree with me, so obviously at this point it’s not the customers fault anymore you need to look at yourself and how to better your customer service.
Great job well done! Friendly and honest service!
Horrible. Came to repair our washer that was not working properly. He did not take the washer apart to find out what was wrong with it. He just cleaned the hose and said it was fine. He ran the washer and left. Not 5 minutes after he left my whole laundry room was flooded with water. The hose was still attached and Water was coming from the inside of washer. So obviously something is wrong. We called the repair guy immediately and he silenced our call. We called the company and sat on hold for 2 hours before giving up. We also told the company before hand he needed a second person to take the dryer down Off the stacked set and there was not a second person with him. So he obviously did not plan to actually fix the washer. Now I have water damage and still a broken washer with no one to fix it. RUN Far away from this company!!Response: let’s see that recorded call in the lawsuit I am filing for all the water damage your tech caused. We told you explicitly that we do not have anyone to take the dryer down to work on the washer and we were told that they would bring two techs. So if this was not the case why did you come out anyway knowing this? Also, Why did your tech say it was fixed if he couldn’t work on it to know?? Oh then when we called and left voicemails to tell you that you not only did you not fix the washer but you caused a bigger problem( it was not leaking before you came). You did not even have the courtesy to return our calls?. We also have cameras in our house... so we have proof of what what said and happened. See you in court.
Samsung set up time for technician with Cone to come out. Took off of work (scheduled time 8-12) technician called morning of and rescheduled because his sister was graduating. Rescheduled time days later for between 8-12, take off of work AGAIN, and it gets rescheduled for between 1-5... Missed 2 days of work. Technician comes and says he has to order part. Try to call few days later and find out when part may be in and stay on hold for 40 minutes with no answer. Call Samsung and they get ahold of Cone and they say part should be in that day or next day. Get call 2 days later and Cone tells me part is on backorder and it will be June 10th before they can come out and repair it.Needless to say I called Samsung back and I am now doing an in store exchange because even they agree it has been entirely too long and too many excuses. .
We have had an excellent relationship with our repair man. He is very knowledgeable and professional.
Impossible to reach by phone .. will not return calls.
The technician showed up and was kinda rude. I dont really mind that kind of thing. Honestly, I would rather you go in, do you job and leave. No Hello, no goodbye, no please or thank you or sir or maam. Thats perfectly fine with. In this case, the way that he was rude was that he looked at the machine and immediately started telling me all of the things that I did wrong. I didnt know how to use it, I had it on the wrong settings, I had too much in it, I didnt have enough in it. (Yes, he literally told me both that there was not enough laundry in the machine, and also too much laundry in the machine. There were two towels in the machine.)You know what? Fine. Whatever. Im a big enough man to admit when Im wrong. This guy drives all the way out here and has the kindness to show me how to use the washer properly? Thats pretty good service. He could have easily said, Its not my job to teach you how to use this. Its not broke, my job here is done. Instead he goes through the trouble of teaching me to use it. If that had been the case, I would be writing a glowing review about how amazing he is.So then he goes to show me how to use it properly. I mean, what a guy. Hes taking the time out of his day to help me. Thats professionalism for you. Both what Im doing wrong, and also what to do correctly. This is quality service....except it didnt work. So then he removed some laundry and tried again. And it didnt work. So then he added more laundry and tried again. And it didnt work. So then he took everything out and tried again. And it didnt work. Then he got on the phone with someone and stood in my laundry room and talked about not understanding what was going on. After about 15 minutes, he says maybe two sentences about how it needs a new main board, and that it will take some time to get the part and then he leaves. Nothing about how I was not doing anything wrong. Nothing about everything that he told me to do was wrong. Basically, nothing about how all of the authority that he came in with, all of the confidence, all nonsense that he spewed, it was all garbage. Think about that. If I had listened to a word this guy said, I would be a stupider person today. Now a lot of you might be thinking, Man, that sounds bad, but at least you got a fixed washer for your trouble, right? Oh, my sweet summer child. This is not the end. Right before he leaves without fixing it, he tells me that it will take 3-4 days to order the part. Two weeks later, my wife and I look at each other and say, Wait, wasnt he supposed to come back with the part? So we call them up and they say, Oh, yeah, that ticket was closed. We are not going to fix it unless you open another ticket. So we start this process over from the beginning. It doesnt go well the second time. Cone misses the first appointment, so it gets rescheduled, and then they claim that they tried to contact us for another appointment, but were unsuccessful. And thats strange, because they have two phone numbers and two email addresses for us, and we got their other text messages and emails and phone calls from them that day, like the one where they asked for us to video tape our broken washing machine (I wish I was making this up), but some how all telecommunication systems in the southern United States spontaneously fail at the precise moment they try to confirm the appointment, so they cancel it. Without telling us.So lets review. A guy comes in to my house, insults my intelligence, lies to my face, lies on his report to the service provider, the company takes his word for it, closes the ticket, refuses to fix it when they are told its still broken, and no-show/no-calls the next two appointments they make.Edit in reply: Nuh-uh! We lost our records of you, so this couldnt have happened isnt the compelling argument that you think it is.
Liars! My husband just posted a bad review which was well earned! Their response states they spoke to me, his wife, which NEVER happened! This company scammed us out of a repair on a manufacturer problem that was under warranty. There are absolutely NO DENTS in this brand new dishwasher, not even on the kick plate. Clearly their service person was incapable of detecting or repairing our dishwasher and by him going one step further to ensure that we could not get our new appliance serviced under warranty by documenting dent in appliance without photographic proof! BEWARE!
Thomas was amazing ! He was very professional and on time. He figured out that my seal on my dishwasher was installed backwards and was leaking water a during each cycle. I originally thought the parts would come in 5-7 business days, but it ended up being just a few more days. they gave me fair warning via text and/voice mail that they were on their way. Definitely recommend
After coming out to repair my ice maker which 3 days later is still not working, they dont answer their phone nor will return calls. I had to call back and wait on hold to be put on hold more tines. Poor service, poor workmanship, poor customer service
Thomas was great! I got a text ahead of time and he came during the time frame given. He was able to fix my problem very quickly and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about my washer and took the time to give me some tips to better care for it! Very kind and professional!
I had a warranty appointment set up today (4/14/21) for my dryer. I had this appointment set up through Samsung a week ago.I had NO contact with Cone, until today. I assumed that the appointment was good.I get a call from Cone today. I assumed it was too let me know that the technician was on their way..... NOPE. The lady was trying to set up an appointment for another week out!!!Are you serious??? So...I set up an appointment a week ago, assuming the appointment was good, and they call me today, and want to schedule ANOTHER appointment, making me wait yet another week??? Telling me their technician wont be back out in my area until then.I told them that I set up an appointment a week ago and that they were supposed to be here TODAY. The lady said well their appointment system( Samsung) isnt coordinated with ours.So they had A WHOLE WEEK to contact me to fix this issue, and they wait until THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT, to tell me that they cant come out until next week.I finally got tired of hearing excuses and hung up.THEN..... They cancelled my warranty ticket, so now, I have to go through the whole deal again with Samsung to get someone out here for service!!!Didnt even bother to fix the issue. Just excuses. When I contact Samsung, I will be telling them about my experience with Cone, and demand that they not set me up with this company again. And now that Im reading through other reviews, is seems like they are good about making excuses and shaming customers.
A tech came out to repair our ice maker. A couple of hours after he left, we had a major flood in the kitchen due to negligent work. They have refused to come back out to correctly do the repair. Do not use this company.UPDATE: As you can see from the owners response, they are also extremely rude, petulant people. They never asked for photos either, which makes them liars as well. The ice maker is not even in the freezer of this unit, so yes, the tech was in the refrigerator, as well as the back of the unit. What a disgrace of a company.
This has been the most frustrating experience for our family. Our dryer broke and since it was under warranty with Best Buy, Best Buy selected Cone Appliance to come and visit it. It took them 2 weeks (which by the way they cancelled on us once and said too bad and made us wait another week). The repairman came, told my husband that there were 3 parts he was going to put in for an order and get back to us Monday. Monday comes... nothing. Tuesday comes... nothing. We finally spend hours on the phone Wednesday to find out from Best Buy Geek Squad that Cone Appliance said there was NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DRYER. I have a baby and a preschool aged child, we go through a LOT of laundry. Ive been without a dryer for a MONTH now and weve done everything to try and make it work (we even called in another appliance repair service and they said there were parts broken). I am just so shocked at their lack of customer service, how they filed a false report to Geek Squad, and elongated this terrible limbo we are in without a dryer.
Do NOT use this company!! If the store where you bought your appliance refers you to them -- ask for another option. Not only will they not fix your appliance, they will likely make matters worse, and they will be rude to you in the process. Just read through their long list of dreadful reviews here and on Better Bureau and their rude responses, and youll understand. Our new Samsung Dishwasher broke down in February, and Home Depot had us call this company. They scheduled a repairman to come March 9, then rescheduled to March 16. The repairman couldnt figure out what was wrong, but somehow decided it needed a new motor. All he did was play with the codes (which he said didnt tell him anything) and then called tech support. At NO point did he tell us the dishwasher would need to be uninstalled before the new motor could be replaced. He did NOT leave a ticket explaining what he did (we were told later this is standard procedure). The next day, Cone called us and scheduled to have the new motor installed on March 23. They said NOTHING about needing to have the dishwasher uninstalled. Stayed home all day. No show. Called them and they rescheduled to have the new motor installed on March 30. Once again, they did NOT tell us it would need to be uninstalled first.Repairman shows up (different guy -- apparently they dont stay with Cone very long, -- said it was his first day with company). He tried to pull the dishwasher out, but couldnt figure out how to do it. He asked how the last guy got it out. I told him he didnt pull it out. He asked how that guy knew it needed a new motor without looking at the motor.Repairman said he could not install the motor because he was unable to get it out. He also confidently said the dishwasher was working (when it obviously wasnt -- it was coming on but not going through the cycles). So, I called Home Depot and told them that we needed to have the installers come out and uninstall the machine before the Cone repairman could install the new motor. They asked for documentation. I called Cone but no one answered the phone.I called today, finally got through, spoke to Olga. I explained that Home Depot needed documentation so they could file a claim to cover the cost of having the installers out again. I gave her my email address.Olga promised shed get that email right out. Well, she lied. She had no intention of sending that email. I called twice, spoke with Lauren, gave a polite reminder that I needed that documentation that Olga had promised to send right away. I told her Home Depot was waiting for it.Finally, when it became obvious that Olga had lied, I called Lauren and asked for the address and name of the manager, because I was planning to file a Better Business Report. Lauren hung up on me. So, bottom line, this company sends out inexperienced repairmen and their office crew is rude and unprofessional. Look elsewhere for your appliance repair. When I went to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint, I found that this company had a very long list of similar complaints. Every time -- every time -- they accused the person making the complaint of lying. These are unprofessional, incompetent, rude people!I called Home Depot to let them know this company has a poor track record with BBB (not to mention the long list of bad reviews here). They said they had already decided not to use this company any longer. I also noticed in a review that Lowes is giving them the shove as well. Find a different company for your appliance repair. These guys deserve to go out of business.
I had an appointment scheduled for a service call for which I had to wait a month and a half. The appointment was confirmed also via a text message the day before and then on the day of the service when no one showed up I called them and they said the appointment was moved by 3 days. They didnt even have the common courtesy of notifying me of the change. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I see that you responded to my review stating that my CC was declined. And that is correct it was declined because it was not charged a month and a half ago when I provided my CC to you. When you tried charging it it was declined because it had expired. That is why I called and gave an updated CC information in the morning and requested that it be charged immediately. Which was not done. So, as you can I did my part and called 4 times to confirm everything was good. This is amazing. I was sent a text message saying they will not come do a service call because I posted a bad review. Instead of coming and fixing the problem and getting the client to change his/her mind for a better review I was told to contact A&E for a service call. And they politely wished me good luck.
Horrible customer service, funny how the reply on all of the BBB complaint accusing customers and they are never at fault. Bunch of liar out there. It must to not crossed them mind that there’s a recordings of calls and screenshots of emails that can clearly show who is at the wrong out there. If you busy person who don’t have time to deal with unprofessional company avoid the stress and go somewhere else.Update: not sure who they reply to or if they just make stories up. But the problem was that they didn’t show up to the appointment and failed to notify that they’ve canceled/rescheduled. day of the appointment they played stupid telling me my appointment was for a different day. Ignored the fact that they’ve confirmed by email.
My one-year old Samsung French door refrigerator started leaking. The warranty company sent Cone. They called me promptly, were very polite and professional in setting up an appointment and actually called a few days later to say they could come a day earlier if that was convenient. The tech called an hour before arrival, was here on time, wore a mask. He made several calls to Samsung and shared photos and video of the leaking that occurs every time we used the water dispenser. They determined my refrigerator could not be repaired. The problem was documented the next day to warranty company and they refunded the purchase price of the refrigerator. My experience with Cone was positive from beginning to end.
Extremely rude representatives! Just give them a call and you will understand it yourself. Just read how they reply to the customer on them reviews!
I used Cone Appliance for my dryer repair. Thomas was not only very professional, but made sure to go over and beyond to fix all of my needs. His customer service was amazing, and didn’t leave until the job was completed. I fully trusted him in my home, and appreciated all of the hard work with fixing my dryer.
Just a note to express our thanks to your employee Roy.Roy was assigned our warranty repair of our Samsung dishwasher.Roy arrived on time and had our problem fixed in a matter of minutes. He was pleasant and knowledgeable of our product. He is an example of an outstanding employee.
On October 12, Thomas with Cone Appliance replaced the ice maker in our refrigerator. The repair was quick. However, Thomas did an awesome job of explaining the entire process. He was very informative about what happened and how it happened. He also helped with how we should safely operate our samsung washing machine after it was repaired during a recall. I cant thank Thomas enough for all he was able to do for our repair and I will definitely use Cone Appliance repair for all of my samsung products.
Probably one of the worse repair experiences ever. The tech had no clue as how to repair my dishwasher and said it was damaged upon installation and left. Now manufacturer would not warranty it. Tech also gave false statements to manufacturer about condition of appliance. Luckily, after getting Lowe’s and a tech from a different company to prove they didn’t know what they were doing, my problem got resolved, but to no help from this company.
I had booked a warranty service for my dishwasher through GE on 2/4/2021 and was scheduled for today, 2/18/2021. I took off from work to ensure I was here for the repair. I receive a voicemail hours before service window saying that they would NOT be coming out (no explanation) and that I have been rescheduled for 3/9/2021. Ridiculous and unprofessional. No respect of anyones time.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! We have been without our washing machine for over 3 weeks now because each time they come out, they failed to fix it because either they ordered the wrong part, or broke something else when trying to install a part. Each time we have to wait another week for them to come back out. Absolutely terrible company. Im petitioning Samsung to drop them as a warranty service company because they are clearly clueless! And yes, whenever a customer has had to go without their washing machine for over 3 weeks because the company failed to fix it after two attempts, they should most definitely be moved ahead on the schedule. Because you know...customer service still means something to some folks out there. Also, owner threatened to cancel my appointment if I complained to Samsung. We will see how it goes Thursday (if they even show up) and I will be back to edit my comments accordingly. Im prepared to escalate this to the highest authority at Samsung if they dont get this washer fixed as they are representing Samsung. Trust me, Im not going away until this is resolved. Have a nice day!
The front desk is RUDE! They arent accommodating.
A repairman was suppose to come to my home to repair my Samsung Dryer on Wednesday 8/26 between the hours of 12n-5p. No one showed up there was no phone calls or messages. I called twice and left messages but no return calls. I contacted Samsung Appliance Repairs on Thursday 8/27. They also could not get anyone at Cone’s to answer or as of yet (8/29) to answer or return calls.
Thomas was very knowledgeable and helpful even came out on a Sunday to fix our washer before the holidays I highly recommend this service Teche Thanks again
Long story short Samsung sent this company out to fix my refrigerator which was making a loud noise due to the fan motor. The product was under warranty so no problem getting them to come out. However, as the technician was fixing my refrigerator he broke the back panel pulling it off. I noticed the technician using a green tube of white caulk and a lot of paper towels in my kitchen. He was using the caulk to repair the crack in the back panel. He literally said to me “I broke your back panel. Is this going to be okay?” I responded with “No. This is a brand new fridge.” He said that he would replace the part that he broke and to follow up with Cone to schedule the follow up service. The technician literally looked me in the eyes and said “even if I have to pay for it out of pocket I will get it fixed because it was my fault.” Well here we are two months later. No one will return my calls from Cone. Samsung has attempted to have them follow up with me only to have Cone respond with a report that the damage was already there when the technician arrived. Neither the technician or the company is willing to take responsibility for damage caused by the technician. Unethical and completely unprofessional. I figured since they partnered with Samsung that this would be taken care of. I was wrong.
Apparently, Samsung contracts with Cone Appliance for appliance servicing. My wife and I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot. The installers did not level the refrigerator, the french doors were hung unevenly, and one of the door handles was loose. I called Samsung and they put me in touch with Cone Appliance for a service call. The service technician was out of Mobile, Alabama. When he arrived he informed me that all my issues with the refrigerator were installer issues. I asked why he was sent out if this was the case. He said he was there to make sure my problems were not caused by a defective refrigerator. Anyhow, he somewhat reluctantly attempted to level the doors which resulted in the refrigerator becoming even less level. My wife and I both noticed he was being careless with his tools and made numerous scratches along the top of the left stainless steel door. He finished his business and took a picture of the refrigerator from five feet away which would not show the damage. We noticed the scratches and notified Cone Appliance. I was asked to send a photo of the scratches to them which I did and this is the last contact Ive had with them. There was no response from the photo I sent nor did they return any of my phone calls or text messages. I notified Samsung and was informed I had to put in a claim with Cone Appliance for the damages. This has proven impossible because they refuse any contact with me. Cone Appliances customer service is non-existent. I looked up their complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. They have a history of not accepting responsibility and blaming the customer.I just read the owners response. As is typical with Cone Appliance the owner blamed me for the problem and outright lied on every point made. I dont expect a business like Cone Appliance to be around long. The business spends more effort trying to cover shoddy workmanship than doing it right the first time. Im surprised SAMSUNG contracts with them. My next call is to SAMSUNG. I must ask them why they would use an organization with such poor business practices.
Louis found the issue with our Dryer and solved the problem. I highly recommend him.
No problem. Excellent work. Had to wait for a part. But I expected that. I would use them again.
THREE STARS: In the beginning it was frustrating with confusion and miscommunication regarding our original appointment date that Best Buy Geek Squad Forces and Cone Appliance set up, I placed a call with Cone multiple times regarding the appointment and they never responded or called me back. Placed a call back to Best Buy Geek Squad Forces to find out what was going on, I sat on the phone with Best Buy Geek Squad Forces for three hours trying to get it resolved finally they rescheduled the appointment with Cone Appliances to come out a week later, because they never received the appointment. FIVE STARS FOR: Luis with Cone Appliance came out he was very professional and answered all of my questions, wore a mask and booties due to COVID of which I truly appreciated! Unfortunately he didnt have the part on his truck, so he had to order the part and reschedule to come back out a week later, today Im very happy to say my Samsung washer is fixed! Thanks, Luis!
There is a reason they have 2.8 out of 5 stars!
Cone Appliance Repair really helped us out when our ice maker kept freezing over. They spoke with Samsung directly for me so I didnt have to deal with it. Our ice maker works perfectly now!
RUN.... Terrible Customer Service is an understatement! Please, please dont think your experience will be any different! Theres a reason so... many bad reviews.Update:LOL....Please, Please dont fall for their blame game. They have terrible customer service and quality of work. Im not mad that my refrigerator is broken, this review is reflection of your company. Bless your hearts! Thanks!!
My Samsung refrigerator stopped making ice. When I contacted Samsung they dispatched Cone Appliance to fix the problem. Cone contacted me in 24 hours, and scheduled Luis Verdacia to fix it. While it was Luis last call of the day (beyond 5 pm) he arrived MASKED (as were we) and stayed after hours to trouble shoot what was wrong, determining it was not a faulty ice-maker but the heating coil that feeds the ice-maker. He was professional, thorough, and immediately ordered the right part. The company contacted me to say the replacement part was on order and they would replace it.I asked that Luis be dispatched for the next service. He arrived first call of the morning - took more photos of the bad heating coil, replaced it, showed us how to install the filter, and assessed the ice-maker to be in good condition but needed longer screws to hold it secure. The Job was done in 30 minutes and within the hour I could hear ice falling in the tray.Cone Appliance was responsive and their service technician who is Samsung Factory Trained was excellent. Ive seen other reviewers state their service was awful but that was not my experience. Cone also services GE appliances so will use them if the need occurs.
My Samsung dryer broke down 3 days after my warranty expired. Don at Cone suggested I contact Samsung which I did and they gave me a warranty repair extension. During all f this Don was helpful and responded to me even after hours. The Cone office called me the next day to schedule repair when part came in. They confirmed the day before and Luis showed up on time and repaired my dryer. Each person was friendly and professional. I read the negative reviews here and I can say I was treated very well, but I was also friendly to them. Repair times are frustrating for everyone perhaps taking a pause to be nice might help. For me, thanks Cone Appliances!
Best Buy scheduled Cone Appliance Repair to come out and repair our LG refrigerator. They did not show up for our scheduled appt. We called to see why no one had come by or called. We were told that they received the repair order from Best Buy the day before but they had no repair techs avail during that time. They did not bother to call us or Best Buy to let us know they could not make it during that day and time. They basically received the appt from Best Buy, threw it in the trash and said FU. The soonest they could schedule us was 2 weeks from our original date. I’m sure they don’t have 2 weeks worth of appointments on their books. But either way, what’s most upsetting is the fact that there was no communication from the repair company once they knew they could not make that appointment. They did not bother to let us or Best Buy know and I had to take my own time off work for somebody to not show up. Seeing all of these same complaints on google and the Better Business Bureau, I don’t understand why any major appliance store would contract this company to repair anything.UPDATE: Reading the response from the owner you can understand why cone has a 2.7 rating with 62 total reviews. Their customer service sucks at every level.
Set-up a repair appointment through Samsung. Cone changed the appointment and then no showed. When Samsung tried to call them, they were “disconnected”....tried multiple times to call and went directly to voicemail. Don’t waste your time. This company doesn’t want your business.
It was so frustrating to have a fairly new, expensive refrigerator/freezer have problems and need repairs. We kept putting off the call. Cone appliance went out of their way with Samsung to get the repair covered. We did have to wait for an appt but the technician was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. It was repaired to our satisfaction and our experience was very good.
My experience with Cone Appliance Repair was exceptional. The icemaker in my Samsung refrigerator stopped making ice. I initially called Samsung, who returned my call same day. I was issued a ticket # for reference, status updates &/or instructions. I was told Cone Appliance Repair would be calling me to set up an appointment for repair. They called me within 24 hours. Appointment was set at my convenience. On the scheduled day of service, I received a text from Cone Appliance Repair stating that the technician, Thomas was on his way. The text included a link to check estimated time of arrival, which was about an hour. Then the technician, Thomas, called me himself when he was 10 minutes away. I found the overall communication & updates to be extremely professional. When Thomas arrived, he was one of the most polite people I have met in a long time. He introduced himself, spoke to me a bit about what he was going to be looking at in my freezer & went to work. He quickly assessed the problem & replaced the parts. During the repair, he needed to pull my refrigerator away from the wall to access the drainage line. Before he pushed it back into place, he asked me if I had a broom & ended up sweeping all behind my refrigerator. After Thomas was finished with the repair, he explained exactly what the problem had been & what he did to fix it. He even took the time to point out to me some features on the ice maker that I was not aware of. My repair service was above & beyond. I was very pleased & my ice maker works great now!
TERRIBLE customer service, had warranty work to be done on my two month old dishwasher, called for a appointment was told Jan 5th I stated I was going to be out of town what was another date, lady told me that was it, that I would have to call Samsung to schedule a new service order. She could of cared less, AWFUL person, rude as hell.
Lowe’s Warranty sub contracts with this Company for Washer Repair. We received a confirmation email from Lowe’s for scheduled Service Date 29June2020 (between 8am-12pm). Received a call from a Cone Representative (couldn’t understand name because she was talking too fast) stating the date provided was tentative and they would not be able to come out until 6July2020. When I tried explaining that we have a email with a guaranteed date, she said “that was not possible and if we weren’t happy with the new date to call Lowe’s back”. Then hung up abruptly. Needless to say, we are calling Lowe’s back to request a different Service Provider. Hopefully, we’ll get one with higher than a 1.8 Rating this time around!! Very Rude and Unprofessional is a understatement... DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Very helpful when I called. Was on time and quick with parts needed. Thank you.
They replaced the tablet on my refrigerator and never connected the camera back up, now they do not stand by their work and want me to pay for them to come back out and connect the camera back up to the tablet they replaced. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
I called for a service to be scheduled and the lady was very professional over the phone! Easy fast and very friendly. I will be using them again for sure
They sent a technician to repair an ice maker that freezing over. He installed a kit supplied by Samsung, and afterwards the ice maker no longer works at all. Ive made multiple calls and attempts to have this fixed, and on the last call Olga hung up on me. 0/10 do not recommend.Update 10/28:I left voicemails for the technician on 10/9, 10/12, & 10/13. I left a voicemail with you on 10/15. NONE of my messages were returned. I called Samsung on 10/15 and they reopened the ticket with you. You declined to accept the service ticket after your technician broke my ice maker during the service call. I had no interest in opening another ticket with Samsung just so you can decline it. Get your story straight.
Tech came to fix the icemaker on my in-warranty Samsung refrigerator - less than a year old. He fiddled with it for awhile, did a software download and stated it was fixed. NOT. The next morning no ice. I called him back, as he had given me his phone number. Told me I needed a new icemaker and would check with Samsung. Never heard from him again. Samsung tried to get Cone to come out and fix for real this time. Cone refused to service the refrigerator. Why??? Doesnt make sense since they are getting paid by Samsung. If I could give this company zero stars I would. You would think with their existing reviews, Samsung would look for a better company.
12-5 window after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment. No one has showed up so far and it is 5pm. Office is now closed because woman at the desk only works til 4. Showed up at 630 pm with no prior communication or explanation. Claimed he got pulled over by the police for faulty equipment on his vehicle. Worst excuses ever!! Definitely would not recommend this company to anyone expecting to receive good customer service. He showed up At 6 qnd didnt have the right parts. Says he will be back this week so I will see if that really happens. The owner of this company is a little cry baby and will not keep up his commitments to the companys he represents Samsung will evaluate why they do business with him in Sarasota. I would Never EVER use this company to fix anything. The customer service is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. Definitely dont own up to their own mistakes or keep open lines of communication with customers. Please do not set an appointment with them.
Was very happy with their service per honest they totally save a lot of money
We had service tech Luis to fix our fridge. He did a great job, very professional.
They were super helpful! I would definitely recommend!
Were supposed to fix the ice maker in my Samsung refrigerator. Instead I received weeks of lies & runaround. Samsung finally gave up on them & replaced my whole refrigerator. When I left reviews about them on the BBB website, all they did was lie & try to gaslight me (like they probably will here too, but Idc, Im getting word out about this company). Complete nightmare company, avoid them like the plague!
Tech did not have part after waiting over a week and told me would probably not be covered and would take another 15+ days to fix.the plus was the tech was very good and communicated even after he left to make sure I was getting help.Kelly was a big help
This is my first experience with Cone appliance repair for a Samsung refrigerator. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the repair technician, Luis. He called twice as the repair time approached, to let us know a more exact time for his arrival. He repaired our unit to our complete satisfaction. Bravo Luis!!
We do our best to service all of our customers with good customer service.
I had to wait a week before they could make an appointment to fix my drier. They did not show up for appointment. After leaving messages and getting no calls back, I finally reached someone. She said they had no record of me, but they TEXTED me the week before to get the serial number! If they had no record of me, how did they know my number? Going with another company, and after reading all the other negative reviews, it’s for the best!
Waited. All day for them not to show up, or call.
Absolutely terrible customer service!!! Cancelled my appointment twice, no-showed me the third time. I called and left multiple messages and no one ever returned my phone call regarding any of my appointments. Actually got a person on the phone today and all he had to say was “Lowe’s doesn’t make our appointments and I don’t know why no one called you back”. No apology, nothing. Referred to me as “hysterical” to a co-worker. I spent 10 years working in customer service and currently have contract employees myself - I would NEVER treat anyone the way Cone Appliance Repair has treated me. They are beyond rude and incompetent at customer service. Can’t say how their technical knowledge is because they never managed to get anyone to show up at my house!
Absolute horrible service. Its been over a month since Ive been working with this company to get a dryer repaired and today Ive waited over 8 hours for a repair man to show up for an appointment after they sent a text stating they were in route and still havent shown up.
I called Samsung about needing a refrigerator repair and was set up with Cone for an appointment between 8 and 10 today. I was told they would call before coming out. After no call, I called them and was told they would not come out because the fridge was out of warranty. I offered to pay and they will not come out. Poor customer service! Do NOT do business with them!
They were a complete waste of time. They will not answer the phone whatsoever I have called and called and called and left numerous voicemails. At this point I would just go buy a new dishwasher before even trying to get Cone appliance out to fix your appliance. Horrible all around and would gladly let them know where they went wrong If I could even get in touch with them. Josh came out to help and was not helpful at ALL
Will not answer the phone. I left a dozen messages. Never got a call back. Finally had someone answer. We had a technician come out. We told him the error message means the dishwasher was leaking. He ignored that. Told we had a faulty neutral wire. We had a licensed home builder and electrician look at the wiring. They said nothing is wrong with it. We tipped the dishwasher over and water poured out from underneath it. And it worked again for another cycle but same issue started again. We called them and told them this. They called Samsung and told them they would not send someone else to fix this bc we lied about getting it tested by an electrician. Horrible company.
TERRIBLE! Refused to come back with the part to finish repair. I called Frank (Office Manager) to check the status. Frank asked me to hold while he called his tech and I heard Frank say that I must have a vivid imagination about requesting for the work to be completed. When confronted about the statement Frank said they would not be back. I asked for the owners (Don Cone) email address, Frank refused to give it to me. I have been waiting a month for them to come back. After speaking with GE, they told me that Cone Appliance Repair NEVER ordered the part.
Absolutely terrible customer service. cancelled our appointment twice because they said Lowe’s does not schedule their appointments and i also needed a “bill of sale” for a dishwasher?? Samsung had already sent in the paperwork needed for our warranty, but said both myself and Samsung were liars. when asked to speak to a manager i was hung up on. called back and before i could say one word the so called manager started literally yelling at me saying they are NOT coming out to service my dishwasher. Rude and so unprofessional!
Very happy with the service from this company! The technician was very knowledgeable and repaired the unit promptly.
Absolutely terrible service. They were sarcastic and arrogant when dealing with them for setting up the appointment. The technician was nice when he came out but needed additional information from me in order to diagnose the problem. I sent a video of the problem immediately and now I can’t get them to return a call back all week. This was for a Samsung problem. DO NOT LET SAMSUNG SET UO THIS COMPANY TO FIX YOUR WARRANTY ISSUE. REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE AND THEY WILL COMPLY.
Waiting for cone appliance to return my many phone calls and voice-mails . So far displeased with customer service so far ! Cone appliance will you change my mind ?
This professionalism is horrible. They came out to fix my appliance from Samsung and did not fix it all. Refused to come back out!
Did not fix our problems. Said they would call back but I had to call them after a week or so wait. Informed me that we would have to get in touch with another company to fix brand new refrigerator as they were unable to fix it. Recalled Samsung. Hopefully new company will fix our refrigerator.
Our four month old Samsung washing machine needs repair we called Samsung. They recommended this appliance repair facility. A week and a half later they came out and the repair person contacted a repair center for advice and the repairman left telling us everything was fine after he left we try to do a wash load and the same problem occurred the spin cycle doesn’t work. I called Samsung back to tell them what happened. and Samsung contacted them and they are refusing to come back because they say the machine works. I’ve tried to call cones maybe 10 times and all I get is an answering machine and no response they’re terrible to do business with I’m still waiting to get my machine to be fixed I’m waiting for Samsung to assist very frustrating.
Absolutely horrible company. We were told they would be here on 12/20/2019. After taking the day off they call us telling us that they were not coming and said they needed to reschedule. They told us they could only do 12/29/2019 or they dont know when the next time is they could reschedule. If we couldnt do that then we needed to call lowes to find somebody else. What company in their right mind calls to tell you they cant make it, then proceeds to tell you what day they want to come? I have to schedule my time off to be here for you, lets work together and find a date that works for both of us cause i work also. I have never delt with such a rude company in all my life.
Wish I could give negative stars! Cone Appliance never even came out to look at my refrigerator, they cancelled the appt. without even contacting me.
Cone appliance services were quick, fixed my samsung no issues
What a joke of a business. Should have looked at all of your negative reviews before even considering having any business with these people.
Worst service ever! Lied to the first two times they came and they didn’t even show up the third time. Dishwasher still not fixed!
Samsung sent them out for what I believe is a freon leak bc of the strong acetone smell. They came out and spent 5 mins and left. Stated he could not do anything and dismissed me. He told me to put baking soda in it. Fridge is a little over one year old. I know what it smells like daily before this. What angers me is after calling Samsung back Cone admitted they dont have a licensed person to handle freon issues. They got paid for a dishonest service call bc they knew they couldnt fix. All he did was hit a few buttons and leave. Also, he was very unprofessional when I asked him why he couldnt help me. He had a rude, condescending attitude.
They are not showing to service calls and the.number now leads to a busy signal.
Great service technicians friendly office staff!
They canceled my appointment when I called them frustrated. About why they didnt show up for their appointment that they had scheduled with me. This was after they had to change my appointment time that was previously set.. Id keep searching for a company who actually cares a little.
Horrible customer service a waste of time. Very rude and dismissive. Fix it yourself before you use Cones
Poor service!!!!!Lied to Samsung about my repair!!!What a joke!
Called for broken appliance. They said, we don’t come to your area until next week. It’s Friday and they can’t come until next Friday! No thanks!
This place is a joke!!!!
Horrible customer service
Very responsive!!
Incompetent
