I love this nail salon! They are fantastic at making the nails thin and shaped to your desires. Unfortunately they ran out of the color I was looking for but found a solution by combining two that would create the same color and effect of my original choice. Also, Wendy did a superb job on my sister’s nails.

Omg best place ever my nails look amazing!! They did so good!! I absolutely love them and they did them exactly how I wanted them, the people were so polite and great and I highly recommend.

I went there today and got a full acrylic set by Annie, she was great! she was making sure that i was satisfied with how the nails were looking. i got plain nails and some nail art on my ring finger and it came out to $65 which is a great price :] overall i’ve never had a bad experience at chi.

They didn’t give me time to pick a color (I showed up early) and my pedicure was done in less than 10 minutes… My polish bubbled because they layered it so fast. They didn’t stick dividers between your toes so everything smudged. It was a joke.

Came here with my wedding party and they were so great! Not only did they do an incredible job but they whipped out 7 Mani pedis in just over an hour. Plus an eyebrow wax! Loved my wedding nails!!!

I have been coming to Chi for over several years, with great service but unfortunately tonight I had a bad experience. I got a fill, & was missing 4 nails as I always am missing a few or several when I come in for fills (I’m a chronic nail picker). I asked for a shape change from coffin to almond and gel on top. In all the years I have gone to Chi for a fill (missing nails or no missing nails/ shape change or no shape change) a fill has always been $35. When I went to check out my total was $60. When I asked why there was such a significant price change, my nail tech Wendy had mentioned that it is now $5 per missing nail and an additional $5 for a shape change, bringing my total to $60. I paid, left my $10 tip, and said thank you. As I got in the car, I realized that didn’t seem right because all the times I have gotten my nails done at Chi I have never been charged for missing nails or shape changes. I called back and said I didn’t think it seemed right, and the girl on the phone basically told me that if that’s what my nail tech said that’s what it is. This price change would not be an issue if it was disclosed ahead of checking out.

I love that they are so nice to my little girl and do her polish for $5 but the last few times I’ve gone there for a pedicure my massage chair hasn’t worked at all and my pedicure lasted all of 5 minutes. Very disappointing to spend $40+tip to be there less than 10 min. Barely a massage or foot scrub. Just rushed in and out. We won’t be going back.

Very Very disappointed with the service I received here. Never in my life have I gotten a pedicure that lost Shellac polish three days after my appointment (even when I paint my toes myself the polish can stay on for months). Three days into my vacation I was missing nail polish on 6 toes. Even after taking a picture on my iPhone of the date and time, I was denied a repainting because they were not notified 11 days after the service. I notified the women on the phone that I was out of the country making me unable to call and notify them hence why I took the photo on my iPhone for proof. There is not one sign in the nail bar, nor was I notified by anyone that there is an 11 day notification period for free service. Even when telling the women I was not looking for a completely new free service and simply a free repaint.After coming here for months as a valued, paying and LOCAL customer I am in complete distraught at the lack of respect from this nail bar. I have been coming here for months and have spent hundreds of dollars for nail services at this location but I was denied one free repaint because I was unable to access my phone ON MY VACATION.If you are looking for a quality and respectful nail bar I would recommend Bella Nails!

I have gone here 3 times for a fill and eveytime the cost is different. First visit was 70$ with 2 ombre nails (pink and blue) 2 nails blue with a silver glitter over top, and 1 regular blue nail. Second visit was $45 for 3 ombre nails, and 2 nails with drawn art. Third visit was $55 for each nail a different color with 2 nails of art. This visit was the worst experience I have ever had. We started doing my nails and I was asking about prices due to the dramatic difference on my previous 2 visits. The lady was super arrogant and short with me and stated the prices always change when I asked how much art was she said 15 and I asked if that was per nail and she just simply said no then nothing else. So I asked if ombre was considered art and she said that 10 nails ombre is better but didnt say the cost and just said she doesnt do ombre. So I decided to keep it simple but cute with 5 different colors and 2 nails with super easy art. About half way thru she huffs saying that 5 different colors should be 5$ more but she already quoted me $55 so shell leave it at that. I was so uncomfortable with the tension and vibe that when I got to the counter to pay, I started to tear up. While waiting, I noticed that my cat paw print had 5 dots instead of 4 like the picture. I showed the girl at the counter and she asked if I wanted it redone and I told her no. She really wanted to correct the problem so I told her I was uncomfortable with my lady and at this point the tears were just rolling down. I could tell she felt bad but I left. Worst. Most Uncomfortable. Experience. Ever.Forgot to add that I had a broken nail when I came in and when she was gluing the new tip on, she put glue on my finger nail then dipped the tip in the liquid stuff, when she applied the tip to my nail it got REALLY hot! I dont know what happened there but its never happened before and she was saying that there was no way it got hot. Weird.

Good experience here! Staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. It was very clean. Overall did a good job! Lots of polish options but few opi and essie options.

My daughter and I got mani/pedis (regular polish for her, I had regular for toes and gel for hands). We were in and out in 45 min which would be fine if the polish had lasted. Gel was peeling around edges in 3 days, regular polish was chipping and peeling in 2. My regular polish on my toes usually lasts at least 3-4 weeks when I’ve gone to other places. This place was not any cheaper and we have nails that look like they are due to get done again, not just done 3 days ago

Ive given Chi my business for going on 7 months now. However, their pedicures are just not thorough. Its always rushed, and over in 10 minutes. I even asked for more scrubbing on my feet and the lady said no. - Literally no. Haha, very strange. With dip manicures, its the same thing. Rushed. Zero attention to detail. (Not true of all of the nail techs there) Ive had one or two good experiences, but over 7 months - thats not enough consistency - Ive tried to let it go, but I think Ill just need to try somewhere else in Bozeman and hope for the best.

I see Ari about once a month and I am SO happy every time. She does a wonderful job and it is a great atmosphere.

I’ve gone twice and each time I have been disappointed. Brush marks, only one coat application, no toenail trim, nail polish on the skin, bare toenail spots, left over lotion not massages into the skin and quick turnover. I told my disappointment to the staff and was only apologized to. No offer to come back or anything to back a customer come back. The staff really doesn’t do a good job.

I went in to get a fill on my acrylics. My appointment was seemingly the last one of the day, so the gentleman rushed through his work. He hardly left my hands under the light to cure the polish. Only three days after my service, the polish started to peel up / chip on about half of my nails. I am unsure if it is due to the products they use or the nails being under cured. The fingers that havent had the polish peel have air bubbles or liquid polish under the surface, meaning its only of matter of time before they do. Today, only 9 days from my service, I woke up with a loose nail that I had to gently peel off because it kept getting stuck in my hair. Will not be coming back to this place even for a repair. If anyone is looking for a nail salon I highly recommend going to A Diversify Nails instead. I will never explore elsewhere after this experience. Oh, and they only refunded me $10.

Super cute nails, but I don’t think the equipment was clean. I now have a nail infection, had to go to the hospital to get it looked at and had to have my nails taken off after paying $75 for them. Very disappointed.

Staff was not very friendly, didnt take the time to scrub feet properly. For the price you pay they need to do a better job.

It really depends who you’re seeing. I haven’t had the best luck but it’s a nice place and prices are competitive. I would say it’s always just an “ok” experience. One good thing is I can usually show up last minute, and get a shellac service done without appointment.

Husband and I went to get a pedicure. Both were extremely rushed (done in less than 25 minutes). I had shellac on and rather than soaking it off, the technician just directly filed it off. Additionally, my nails have been filed/cut unevenly. I don’t think the quality was worth the price.

I am really picky with who does my nails and so far this is the best nail place in Bozeman. I usually drive up to Great Falls to get my nails done but sometimes with the weather that can be dangerous. I tried Chi out for the first time because I was recommended by friends. I was a little hesitant but I made an appointment with Mindy and she did a great job. Will come here again if I need an emergency fill

I’ve gone here several times to get my nails done but this last time I went was amazing! Wendy was my nail tech, and she did the most amazing job! I had a picture of what I wanted and she got it spot on. I’ve gone a couple other times, showed pictures, and they’re always pretty close and still look nice, but this time they were identical! Color was a perfect match, I asked for marble on top and it came out beautifully! If you’re looking for a nail salon, go here and see Wendy!

Im addicted to getting my nails done here! I highly recommend Ashley! I get dip done for my nails and they look very natural and they last so long! Her attention to detail and fun nature makes the hour drive to their salon worth it. I get compliments constantly, plus they have a huge range of colors to try! I cant wait for my next session!

I went in there today and asked if they can do an ombré on all my nails, they switched me to another lady because the other one doesn’t know how to do ombré which is okay. But she tells me this lady knows how to do an ombré so I trusted her. As she started doing my nails for some reason I was not so sure about her doing them, but I just tried ignoring that feeling. I was right though because they did come out kinda bad and I ended up going home frustrated. On my pinky nail there is literally a line between the 2 colors and the acrylic is very thin on all my nails especially the same pinky nail because I can literally see the white nail tip and just looks awful. I am never going back again. I’m to upset with this set.

Pretty mediocre. I have no problem paying $65 for a 20 minute appointment if it’s a quality manicure. Unfortunately just always looks super rushed.

I’ve always had a good experience here but yesterday I was treated so badly as a customer I will not be going back. After showing a picture to my nail tec and her adding extensions then powder she asked if I liked the shaped. I didn’t (was not shaped like the picture) so I asked to have the tips a little thinner and not so wide (close to a coffin shape) she then proceeded to yell at me in the middle of store saying I should have made that more clear and said things about me under her breath. She re-shaped my nails aggressively but left two nails. She then told me to go sit down and she would not be finishing my nails, so I sat down and waited for someone else to finish my nails who was much nicer to me, but I still felt uncomfortable. Definitely do not recommend

First time getting a dip done on my nails and I absolutely love them!!!!

I got a fill here recently and the woman repeatedly cut around my nails, 7 times. My fingers were bleeding and she subtly tried to clean them off, but she was not careful w the drill at all. She tried to trim my cuticle w the drill and continuously missed which is what cut my fingers. Gets 2 stars because the people were friendly and the nails didn’t turn out bad.

Got a pedicure that was not very good. Could’ve painted them better myself as there was paint all over the cuticle. Some nail techs are so good while others have no idea what they’re doing and you just never know what your going to get :(

Lady rushed through my nails like it was a race in the Olympics, she even forgot to file a hand. Didnt do my cuticles or clean the sides of nails. Will never go back.

Went in to get a refill and I specifically told the lady I want it a pink ombre with white tip. NO SHELLAC! I confirmed with her again if I was going to get a pink powder with the white tip, she said yes again. Towards the end of the nail appointment she points me to the SHELLAC wall I then said no I do not want SHELLAC. So I ended just getting a clear coat so disappointed on the service plus my coat all started to pull back 5 minutes into getting my nails done. Looks like my 5 year old niece painted my nails.

Marie was amazing. Like she had known my hands and nails for years. Felt super comfortable and relaxed while she worked on my fill. Loved my experience here and will become a regular long term client for sure! 💅

Terrible service. I called ahead to make an appointment at 4:00 for a pedicure. I arrived to my scheduled appointment early. A walk in customer walked in right before me. The walk in customer was seated before me (no problem). I was then seated and waited a full 20 minutes in water that was getting cold before being acknowledged again. Guess I wasn’t aware walk-ins receive priority over appointments. This will be my first and last trip to CHI.

I am from out of town and googled “good nail salons” in the area. There were a few and this one stood out the most due to the pics and reviews. The staff is friendly, inviting and quick to help. Christian did my nails and helped fixed them to my liking. Good price and gentle with the nail process! Love them already

Not happy with my mani/pedi this visit😪 my manicure was not done well and the gel was applied about 1/4 inch above my cuticle...looks like it has already grown out a week. I asked for 2 alternating colors on the pedicure and it wasnt done. The nail art on the 2 big toes did not match at all. I asked to have them match and it was redone, but they still dont match.

My mom, sister, and I were visiting Big Sky for spring break and all needed nails done. This place was great. They worked us in and the salon is very clean and nice. The nail techs were professional and funny. I would highly recommend.

This is my go to salon in town. Everyone there is so welcoming and kind and is always attentive even when it is crazy. I always call ahead and make an appointment, but they do take walk ins. I have visited and sat down with every employee there until I found my favorite (Margi) who is so sweet, gentle and attentive with her work

I am always astounded at how much I love my nails when I leave. All full sets Ive ever had usually break or start coming off after two weeks, but the ones that I have had done here last forever. The staff are kind and respectful to customers wants and needs, and always go above and beyond. If I were to recommend anywhere in Bozeman for a salon I would say Chi every time hands down.

Margie and Christian are so nice and such great, down-to-earth people. They do a fantastic job and have always treated me with kindness and respect. The salon is sparkling clean and they have a great selection of colors and options for your nails and toes. They have accommodated my hectic schedule many times and always make sure that I am happy with their service. I can’t say enough good things about them, you will not go wrong by coming to Chi Nails. I have been to many salons around Bozeman, and they are the best there is.

My girlfriend and her family went into get their nails done for a wedding and the service was rushed and not complete. They had to wait 40 minutes past the appointment and then didnt receive the complete service.

It was my first time here and I was visiting from out of state; I went to this salon because of all of the reviews, and it definitely was not what I expected. I have received MUCH better service at a cheaper price. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly, and the rest of the staff was not necessarily the best. I picked out just a plain color with medium length acrylics and they charged me $40 instead of $35 for a full set, for no reason? The manicurist also glued one of the acrylics onto my skin instead of my nail and claimed that it would be fine. I was expecting more, and sad to say that I wont be returning.

Meh at best. In and out in less than 50 minutes for a mani/pedi. Definitely didn’t request an express service. Felt extremely rushed by techs 😑

It was okay. I was expecting better, but when I walked in the lady escorting me to get my nails done was so monotone and looked like she was fed up with her job. Not a big deal, right? Sure, except whoever did my nails was filing them down with the electric file and she cut open my cuticle. She was clearly in a rush and my acrylics ending up looking lumpy and misshapen. I asked for a coffin shape and a few of my nails were square while the others werent. She was video chatting someone while she was doing my nails and couldnt get off her phone. She was rushing me to pick a color and left for 15 minutes while I was doing nothing. Maybe Ill get my nails done again here, but for now I wont plan on it. If I did, I would hope to get my nails done by someone who does a better job. I dont like to pay $60 for a quickie nail job.

The receptionist was kind, but my manicurist rushed through, cut my cuticles too far so they bled, and my final product was sloppy. I got a regular polish manicure and ended up with dents in my pinkie and bumps in the polish on my thumb.

I got a full set of acrylics yesterday from Tiffany and they are absolutely stunning. They offered great customer service and got me in last minute before the holiday! I would recommend this artist, and business to anyone. Thank you Chi Nail Bar!

Chau ( not sure if spelling is correct) was probably the most delightful nail technician I have ever had. She was very accommodating, kind and did a wonderful job on my pedicure.

First time here was a success. I got a pedicure and the leg massages were amaaaaahzing. The nail techs were thorough in making sure my feet looked beautiful too. After I left, I chipped my polish accidentally but when I went back to tell them, they were very willing to fix it back to perfection and made sure I didn’t leave until they looked better than before. Thanks for the best experience!

I have gotten manicures and pedicures here. The polish (regular and gel) always chips within a few days. When I go with friends, their polish chips as well. The service is sub-par and appointments rarely start on time. Every time I ask for my nails to be shaped a certain way, it is consistently wrong. Your nails will be happier elsewhere.

The staff is always so friendly and accommodating! I personally see Brittany and she is a perfectionist and always does a great job! I’ve also chatted with the owner a couple times and she’s so sweet, a great addition to Bozeman!

I was in town for vacation and called Chi to see if they accept walk ins, they said come in and theyd get me taken care of... Mindy did my nails, she is super friendly and does an amazing and quick job, I got an old set taken off and new set put on with gel polish and was out of there in an hour! Love my new nails!

Staff was friendly, and I got in quickly for a walk-in. Im highly disappointed though because i got my nails done Wednwsday and they were already chipping on Friday! I could have done a better job myself. Which is sad to say because I dont typically do my nails! Im glad I didnt waste more money!

This is the best nail bar in Bozeman! Margie always does my shellac nails, and she is quick and a perfectionist...the best combination! As long as I live in Bozeman, I will go here!

Went in for a pedi and the nail tech left my polish smudged and see through. She did not file my skin either. I basically paid to have my toenails (not so) decently painted. Will not be returning.

AMAZING PEDICURE! They used a sugar scrub that made my feet super soft. The massage was very strong and relaxing. I will definately be back.

I got a full set of acrylic with gel polish my nails look beautiful but some of the shapes don’t match and I had to keep switching chairs to get things done so for like the tips I had to go to one spot and the drilling I had to go to a different spot and also they made me go and get the right number of nail polish but overall the nails look good just not as good of an experience.

I was in Bozeman with my sister and she went to Chi Nail Bar for a pedicure with Chow. She gets pedicures regularly and wouldnt stop raving about the experience, so the following day at her urging, I decided to get one myself. Chow is such a professional - the entire experience was top notch. I got to soak my feet for a while (which I LOVE) and she was able to help me with an ingrown toenail that I shouldve taken care of a long time ago. If youre in Bozeman, book an appointment with Chow - you will not be disappointed!

Fabulous salon!!! Britt is one of the best nail techs I have had in my 30 years of having artificial nails of all types put on. I worked in Bozeman for three months as a traveling healthcare professional...headed now to Helena for the next three months. I will definitely make the trip from Helena to Bozeman to get my nails done. Wonderful pedicures too!! They are very hygienic and keep their salon very nice. Friendly staff!! Walk ins are possible....but I would call to make an appointment if you want Britt!!! Highly recommend!!! Great prices!!!

I followed her from her last place of employment simply because no one can do stiletto nails like her. I have been to every walk in salon in bozeman and she is by far the best. I have unfortunately moved and i miss her so much. I wish i could go back every time i need a fill. the rest of the staff is also sweet- love margie! the girls at the front are always sweet and helpful- esp when im making a last minute appt. :)

I used to go here for my SNS nails, but the last two times I have been very unhappy with the service. The first incident ended with my SNS nails cracking terribly and not adhering properly. When I went back in I was treated rudely and roughly for the redo, although it was at my own expense. I even felt like the manicurist was purposely trying to hurt me by grinding painfully close to my cuticles! I will never go back to Chi Nails.
