Great experience each time I need my car serviced. They have always been on time getting my car finished. Clean facility and great waiting area.
My worst car buying experience. The car I bought wasn’t even cleaned out ( I’ve never seen that before). The car was sold to me for a price that it wasn’t worth and needed repairs that were not revealed as the time it was bought. When I confronted the dealership about these issues it wasn’t handled fairly. You guys have a long way to go and I rather give my business to more professional establishments!!! ✌️
Took my 2011 Outback in to check the O2 sensors, and they told me the $150 diagnostic fee would apply towards the cost of repairs. They did a multipoint inspection, and told me I needed new brake fluid and power steering fluid. I decided not to get the O2 sensor replaced because the quote seemed too high, and then they told me I couldnt use the $150 towards the power steering or brake fluid because thats not what I initially took it in for, so I had no work done. I took my car to a place in Four Corners and they said both my brake fluid and power steering fluid are clean.
My husband and I stopped at Gallatin Subaru on a Sunday afternoon recently. We were looking at a good commuter car for my husband. We saw a couple that we were interested in so on Monday morning I called to inquire. The salesperson, Cameron was very helpful and knowledgeable. So we decided on a certified pre-owned 2020 Outback Onyx xt. So throughout the week we did the e- signing for the car... which we had yet to drive because we live about 90 miles away from their dealership. So on the following Saturday we drove to Bozeman to get the car. Well we ended up finding one in the showroom that we liked better. Granted I know we had signed paperwork on the 2020 Onyx but we were willing to wait a bit knowing it would take a little doing to unwindthe deal. I knew this could be done as I have 2 good friends that are also car salesman. But Spencer the finance manager said no we were to far into the deal to undo it. I knew it could be undone but we felt he just didnt want to take the time and effort to do it. So long story short we left Gallatin Subaru that day without buying a car from them because it would have taken a little extra effort on their part. We purchased the exact 2022 Outback Touring in our hometown that we wanted to purchase from Gallatin Subaru that they wouldnt sell us because they didnt want to undo the other deal. I give Cameron our salesman all the credit in the world. He treated us great. As for Spencer the finance guy not so much. He was so unprofessional and very unpleasant once we wanted to purchase the other Outback. So nothing good to say about the service we got...except from Cameron. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone.
Highly recommend this dealership & Ryland. This was my second Subaru to purchase in 1.5years and this experience was 100000% better vs the other. I chose to drive 2hrs out of my way to this dealership and glad I did. Everyone was nice and Ryland did an exception job ordering our new 2022 Outback. Do yourself a favor and use them.
Zach Tate is an exceptional sales associate. He is a fountain of knowledge on all things Subaru! Every question that I had, no matter how obscure, he was able to answer. I never felt pressured. He made us feel very comfortable and well informed. Could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend this location and sales person.
Great place! Open on Saturdays for us workin folk! Everyone was in good spirits. Answers any questions you have with a smile. Fast service. Will be my go to place!
I just bought my first car through a dealership from Gallatin Subaru and it was a great experience. From the first point of contact, every employee I interacted with was polite, friendly, personable, and extremely professional. CJ and Spenser were amazing! I worked with both of them through a few hitches that came up throughout the process and they were so helpful every step of the way. When I received my car, they had even thrown in a set of snowtires! Amazing, 5-star service all the way! Choose Gallatin Subaru for your next car.
If I could give Zero stars, I would. I have long suspected that the service department has been ripping people off and I have now confirmed it. My wife brought our Subaru in for replacement of shocks. She was told that the brakes (both front and rear) needed to be replaced. Little did the service team know that we had that done less than 8000 miles ago at another more reputable shop in town (for less than half the cost of what Gallatin Subaru had quoted us for the same job.) We declined the current suggested brake service and brought the car to a third repair shop to confirm the issue and sure enough, the brakes are just fine. I have the quote from Subaru showing the suggested brake repair and a receipt from the independent shop saying the brakes are not worn. I will show them both to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else who will listen. Maybe the Bozeman Chronicle will be interested. Unfortunately, this is the only Subaru dealer in a two hour drive. I suppose when you dont have competition, you can do what you want. I wonder how many fake jobs have been done. Shame on you, Gallatin Subaru! You are not to be trusted.
Absolutely splendid process. Dimitri was a great person to help out in buying my first out of state car. The entire process went smoothly and very quickly! From the price explanations, to vehicle knowledge, to great honesty, I have never enjoyed a process more. Thank you to Sean as well for breaking down costs and other things and for being very quick to do so! Fabulous service overall and I highly recommend this dealership. The service is incredible compared to all other dealerships in Montana. 10/10, 5stars. Wonderful team overall.
Zach Tate is awesome! He was very patient and understanding. He was very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. He was helpful with us not knowing exactly what we wanted coming in, but we left with a great new car with all the bells and whistles! Very clean business and everyone we talked to was nice and professional. Highly recommend them for your car needs!
We stopped here on vacation from North Dakota to Washington because we got an overheat indication when we stopped for food.We called and they looked at our car right away. They identified the problem, found the parts in stock, and was able to fix us up the next morning. They were very up front and honest, which led us to spend the night unplanned in town. We are thankful for this and their professionalism. They worked quick and safely on the car knowing we were trying to get home.I cannot say enough on how awesome the service team was, the techs, and even the sales guys that entertained my kids as we browsed cars to kill time. This is why people buy Subarus, cause dealers take care of their people, whether lifetime customers, or just in a bad situation passing through town. Thank you!
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. There new location is very nice and easy to get in and out of.
I had a very positive experience with their service department. My car was serviced for airbag recall but the tech found a dirty cabin filter. I did not respond to their approval request to replace the filter as I was at work. When I arrived to pick up the car the service person informed me that they had gone ahead and replaced it but would cover it for free given that they had not gotten prior approval from me. I have to respect them helping me out and not charging for unapproved work.
Amazing experience and an amazing team! CJ & Spencer made buying a new car a great experience!
Just bought a 2021 Crosstrek. Ask for Mike Koelzer - friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed buying experience. I never felt like I was forced into buying anything. Went for a test drive and he answered every question I had. Financing & Trade-In process was also very quick and honest. Very efficient & patient sales team, even though they were training someone new. Definitely recommend this dealership.
Great service. Very helpful. Here visiting and they gave me some great ideas of places to visit.
Did you ever think a car dealership could be the solution to your pandemic blues? of course not, that’s an absurd question. but in this case the folks at Gallatin Subaru saved me thousands of dollars and a ton of hassle on my vacation to Big Sky. I booked my flights and lodging, then thought…i should reserve a rental car. NOPE; the cheapest i could find was more than 4k for the week. So WE BOUGHT A CAR! they made it so absurdly easy, we’re so helpful and accommodating. Ryland Carlson, our sales associate, was beyond accommodating given the bizarre circumstances of buying a car from two thousand miles away. He even picked my family up at the airport, then dropped us off when we were ready to head back to DC. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. That is saying a lot given the fact that I have never once enjoyed, let alone been able to be complementary of a car buying experience.
After I couldn’t get any more life out of my much loved xterra I made an appointment at Gallatin Subaru and was greeted by Cameron once I arrived. I was expecting the stereotypical buttoned up pressuring car salesman but that wasn’t what I got with Cam. He was casual, personable, honest, confidence inspiring rather than constantly pressuring me towards a purchase. I can’t imagine having an easier, more pleasurable experience while making a big purchase that too often can be unnecessarily anxiety producing. Would suggest if you want to buy a Subaru and enjoy the experience at the same time, you’re looking for Cam.4 stars only because this was my first car purchase and Spencer seemed like he had one foot out the door the entire time and moved very quickly through everything which I felt was purposeful and motivated.
While visiting from out of town, had a rock trapped in the brake disc that we were unable to get out. Backing up didnt work and removing the wheel and going at the rock with a wire hook didnt work. We were looking at a 1,000 mile drive back home with SCHRREEEEEECCCEEEEEESSSCREEEEE noises. Gallatin Subaru took us in without a wait and got the rock out. Didnt screw us with a crazy price for the help either.
Came in with a minor fix on my windshield fluid pump. These guys got me in the next day and then they fixed it for free. They could have easily charged me an hour of labor, like many would do, but they didn’t.Highly recommend Michael Gilbert. He was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and a top shelf communicator.I’m going to buy another Subaru next year, and I’m coming right to this dealership!
We had a great experience with Gallatin Subaru. We worked with Matt Kavalunas to find a car for our daughter, and he was very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. There was no pressure, and the entire experience was excellent.
I had an amazing experience working with Ryland at Subaru in Bozeman! He was incredibly responsive; was able to not only answer all my questions, but proactively shared information that was so helpful; and applied zero pressure. While I was not looking forward to the car buying process, I cannot imagine it being any smoother than it was. All other team members I interacted with throughout the process were exceptional as well! Very appreciative to the team that made what can otherwise be a stressful experience, a very pleasant one! THANK YOU!
I had a great experience at Gallatin Subaru with Cameron Jacobson. It was very low pressure and I’m really glad I had Cameron there to help me buy my first car ever! Everyone at Subaru really made sure I had a great experience with them. I would highly recommend coming here to buy a new or used car. I really appreciated the friendliness and overall efficiency of the process at Gallatin Subaru. They made sure every need of mine was met and went above and beyond to make sure that I got the car I wanted and needed.
The service staff at Gallatin Subaru is OUTSTANDING. This is the best place to get everything you need for your car. They are dedicated to their customers, always going the extra mile, and will always be honest and up front with you. They will take great care of you.The biggest shot out to Mike Gilbert in the service department. He is literally is the best human and I trust him 100%. If you need anything, ask for Mike.
Was on a 7 day road trip through Montana and Wyoming when my car started acting up. Ended up renting an Outback from a local outfit in Bozeman. Was so impressed with the car I decided to buy one rather than deal with fixing mine. Cameron hooked me up! I pretty much knew what I wanted, and he showed me several cars to chose from. I bought a sweet low mile 2019 Outback. This was probably the easiest, most low pressure car purchase experience Ive had. Everyone was great and up front with everything, we made a deal and am now on my way back home in comfort-worry free. Great experience!
We were lucky enough to find our Subaru Outback here with the help of Mike and the rest of the team at Gallatin Subaru. With other dealerships we had unanswered questions throughout the process, at Gallatin Subaru they were completely transparent about what was going on, and answered any questions we had throughout the buying process!I would more than happily recommend Gallatin Subaru to anyone thinking of buying a car. The buying process was informative and easy. We left very happy with the customer service we were shown.
Absolutely a great experience. Cameron, was a great salesman to work with. Helped answer questions day and night. Good luck finding someone better! Highly recommend!
This was the best experience I have had buying a car. My sales person Ryland worked with my husband and I to find our perfect car. We went on multiple test drives, was never pressured to buy a car right then. Ryland let us think it through so we could get exactly what we wanted. When we decide on what we wanted, the entire Subaru dealership was amazing, the finance guys Justin and I believe the other is Spencer were also so amazing. I will recommend all of them to everyone. The best part of all of this is that they were all so happy and excited for us. This was such a fun, and smooth process. Keep doing what you are doing because you all are so amazing! Thank you all so much for the excellent experience and for our fun new car.
I went in for service on my 2017 Subaru Impreza. Service was great and they completed it quickly. I also had questions about my vehicle and a salesman came up to me and offered to help with my questions. I would highly recommend coming here for service and sales.
Ive been going to Gallatin Subaru for a couple of years now and although I hate having to get maintenance on my car, this place is always as painless as possible. Mike who works in service goes above an beyond when taking care of the customers, always sets my wait time expectations accurately, and answers all the questions I have. I definitely recommend taking your car here !
I purchased a used car with them recently under the pretense that the car had a replaced timing belt. I discovered a week later that the timing belt had been replaced incorrectly (by Subaru of Butte, not Gallatin Subaru) and was nearing failure after 20,000 miles. I spoke to the GM of the dealership about the issue and they took my car in for repair on the spot, gave me a discount on the work, and gave me a free rental car. This dealership has exceptional customer service and should be the only dealership an aspiring Subaru owner should purchase from in the region.
Ryland Carlson was a fantastic sales associate. If you go there, I would definitely ask for him. He did a great job. William also does a great job in helping you to know what to do after you buy a car. The rating is only for the two people mentioned, but they were superb!
Very excellent service. Was in and out within an hour for what I had to do could have taken longer but they were quick and efficient. All Personnel were respectful and courteous.
Recently I just bought my first Subaru from Gallatin Subaru in Bozeman, MT. I was teamed up with a new sales associate, Cameron Jacobson to help facilitate the purchase. To say he was helpful would be a understatement. He went over every little detail and made the entire buying experience a very smooth and comfortable one.I would highly recommend that anyone who is interested in procuring a Subaru of their own request Cameron to assist them.
Gallatin Subaru provided me with the most painless car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was super accommodating, professional, and helpful. I will definitely continue to do business with them and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking to buy a car. Thank you Subaru team!
I just purchased a new Forester with Zach Tate over the phone and by email. With covid we really did not want to go out to a bunch of dealerships. This is the first car we have ever purchased in Montana and the first car my husband has ever purchased in his life (we are NYC dwellers originally). We knew Subaru was a reliable brand and really liked what we had read about Gallatin. We actually live in Billings but chose to deal with this Bozeman dealership because of its reputation. Zach did not disappoint. The process was easy. He even offered to drive us our new car himself if we could not wait for the flatbed delivery. Wow. Ultimately we had it delivered by flatbed. John the flatbed driver could not have been nicer. Seemless and easy purchase. Highly recommend you reach out to Zach today and buy a new Subaru before they are all gone (low inventory high demand!) Exceptional experience.
Shaun hooked me up with a zero pressure deal on a new WRX, treated me like a human instead of a sale, and made sure I got into the model I wanted without any runaround at all. Services have been speedy and up to par, and the new location I’m sure will be more convenient all around. A very pleasurable buying experience.
I bought a 2020 Outback 10 months ago. My buying experience was wonderful. I took the car in to get the roof rack (trim coming off), bumper (kept falling off) and my side paneling fixed (kept falling off). All items were under warranty because this was about 5 months in. They replaced the bumper and panels perfectly. The roof rack got taken off from inside. They said it was fixed a few days later. I picked it up and my door panels were falling off and there was grease all over my ceiling. Once they popped the panels back on and I drove home I realized they didnt hook up my radio or Starlink. The next day I realized they broke the attachment that holds my sunglasses. Another trip back to hook those up and order a new sunglass holder thing. Another trip back to get the sunglass thing repaired. I thought we were good...and then the first snow hit and a couple weeks later it started melting. I now have water dripping on the inside of my car at my sun roof and on the same door panels that I have to keep pounding back up. I guess there is another trip in store for me. For a brand new car that cost over 35k, I have had nothing but problems with it. Mind you, the service department has created every single on of them. Some really nice guy called me to try to help me, but in the end he was only looking for a sale. He just wanted me to trade in my car for a new one and take an 8k loss. I love Subaru and I feel safe in them, this is the second one I have bought in 3 years. Unfortunately I will be driving to Billings for my next Subaru and probably for future service.
The service at Gallatin Subaru was amazing and professional. I worked with both Austin and Spencer and they were both knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions. It was a super painless and easy process working with them to get my Crosstrek. I would highly recommend them.
We recently purchased a used Subaru for my 16 year old daughter. Mike Koelzer was the best sales consultant we have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. I highly recommend Mike for anyone looking for a car.
This dealership is incredible! I got into a bad accident and was out of a car for about a month, so I stroll down one day to look at rides and Cameron let me drive a 2020 Impreza. Fell in love with it immediately. I was really on the fence about getting it, but Cameron helped me figure out getting something within my finances and I got it in no time. Super patient, no pressure, Cameron is the man!
Michael Gilbert was my service advisor and got me taken care of in record time. My power lift gate in my 2018 Forester XT wasnt working and he assured me I would be taken care of. And I was! Ive always had amazing luck with this dealership and will continue to return.
I just moved into Bozeman and I was lucky to know this dealership. Austin Nelson is very helpful and friendly. He is patient and he walked me though all the details and everything, answered all the questions I have. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and anyone who wants to get a new car.
Went in for an oil change with an appointment, took about an hour and was a very reasonable cost. They called to confirm any additional work and everyone inside was wearing masks or face coverings! Great experience overall.
Helen is the person to speak with if youre looking for a good Subaru! My wife and I are thoroughly impressed with her 17 years of experience, her patience with our questions and her knowledge. See Helen if youre even thinking about a new car, and shell make sure your time is well spent! If Google only had six stars!
My hat is off to Chance working in the service department. Came in this morning with check engine light on. At first, I was told that they didnt have any repair openings until next week. Then, Chance took a break from his busy schedule to do a quick check on my car... didnt have my gas cap on correctly! Workers like Chance provide the quality service we expect from Subaru. Thank you!
After being blown off by 2 other Subaru dealerships in the state, I set my eyes on Gallatin Subaru to purchase a my first Subaru. Cameron Jacobsen was more than willing to go the extra mile and answer any questions and show all I needed to know about the car.I will 100% be buying my next car from Gallatin Subaru and would recommend anyone else buy one from them as well.
Just brought our 2019 CrossTrek in for an oil change and tire rotation. We were greeted by Tom Halpin who was friendly, efficient and professional. The crew took care of us quickly and we were on our way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Gallatin Subaru takes their business seriously.
Excellent service! Had a problem with my sons car and was treated very well by Gallatin Subaru. Tom did a great job fixing the problem and getting the car in and out. He listened to me and went above and beyond to make sure the car and my son were well taken care of. I highly recommend!
I have gone to Gallatin Subaru numerous times since I purchased my Subaru in 2017. During my last two visits (oct & nov 2020), I received exceptional service! I have always found the employees to be helpful and it seems to only be improving.
Should have listened to the negative reviews. Took my 2018 STI for warranty issues. My negative experience started on the day we dropped off the car. Shyanne one of the service advisors needed to inspect our roof for the paint issues we are having. In the process she hops into the passenger door jam with her muddy boots scratching the paint on my door jam and dirtying up my recently detailed interior (see photo). From there I should have known how they treat customers cars and went elsewhere. Like any sports car I have had in the past I always reset the mpg gauge as well as the boost gauge if available. I also always take photos to back up the evidence as I have run into this in the past with prior sports cars being driven hard while in for service. Picked up the car today and knew my worst fear had happened. The car was definitely beat on. Over the time they had the car they put on 24 miles and used just about 2 gallons of fuel leading to a 13mpg average. Not only that the boost gauge which I reset was peaked out at 15.8 psi which is only archived when the call is at full throttle and over boosts. Peak boost on these cars is targeted at 14.7 psi. Those boost numbers done by the dealership can only be done while in sport # mode. From here on out I will be making the drive to the next Subaru dealer as clearly this dealership does not care about their customers hard earned money. I will be following up with them to figure out how they will be fixing my damaged paint from chyanne and get an explanation why my car was driven the way it was.
Super knowledgeable staff. Fast service.
I want to give a shout out to service advisor Thomas Halpin. Three times in the last six months he has helped me in the service department. He is intelligent, mature, and so helpful. The first time was just a routine minor service, but it went without a hitch. The second time I phoned and randomly got him to talk for a minute or two about an Outback rear wiper washer that wasn’t functioning. He told me to keep the switch activated for several seconds to make sure the fluid was pumped to the rear of the vehicle. It worked like a charm. A few days ago the EyeSight in my Outback was not working and warning lights were activated on the dash. I called the service department and randomly got Thomas again. When I asked him if a loose gas cap could have produced the “check engine light” that possibly shut down the EyeSight, he said yes, it was possible, and if that was the case to bring it in and it would be just a few minutes to check the OBD code and clear out the problem. I drove into the dealership garage and in five minutes he had checked the code, cleared the check engine light, the EyeSight problem disappeared, and I was on my way for no charge. I have seen other dealerships charge a half hour to an hour’s labor to diagnose the painfully obvious loose gas cap problem. Thomas Halpin is a keeper! Thanks Gallatin Subaru!
First time coustomer first time buying a new Subaru. worked with Austin Nelson, very easy going as well as knowledgeable. The whole staff was great they were very patient in answering my question.
Love my experience here. They treated me and my car very well. Highly recommend
In from out of state, in desperate need of help, Gallatin delivered! Warning lights abound on my Forester, from being forced to drive with a donut for 150 miles. Bought new set of tires (elsewhere) but needed to get rid of warning lights (and vehicle wouldnt go into park without shutting off engine). Was able to drop off vehicle, on a Saturday, and was given a nice loaner; which really helped my familys vacation plans. Gallatin fixed the issues AND fixed three recalls on the vehicle. Cannot recommend highly enough!
We have always bought used vehicles in the past, so we were nervous about dealerships & purchasing a new vehicle. Fortunately, Gallatin Subaru does not haggle on price & are mostly up front about costs which decreased the stress of testing a car/buying. The only thing they dont tell you about up front is the extended warranty offer, but they were not pushy about it. We decided to hold off on purchasing that extended warranty, since you can purchase it later & we were not prepared for that cost (around 2,000). I think this is typical at many dealerships, so be aware. We worked with Mike & Justin to purchase a new Subaru. We were mostly happy with the experience overall & they took time to answer all of our questions. They were very speedy with the paperwork process to the courthouse as well, which we appreciated since we needed to accomplish this quickly before moving. It was a far less stressful experience than we anticipated, but it also helped that we had a pretty solid idea of what vehicle that we wanted before going in.The one thing the dealership can improve on in general is subtle sexism. A lot of the car maintenance details, etc. were directed at my husband even though we have roughly the same amount of car knowledge. This is my primary vehicle, so I am the one that needs to know the nitty-gritty & women are capable of understanding this information. So, I would just encourage them to acknowledge & work on their interactions & not make assumptions.Overall, though, it was a good experience & we appreciated their expertise and transparent processes.
Best dealership experience ever. I worked with Sean Skelton to buy my new 2021 subaru crosstrek sport. He was outstanding and refreshingly honest.I have worked several times with Michael Gilbert in the service department, who has given me excellent personalized service. Excited to work with both people in the future
The staff here is so kind, responsive, and helpful. I fully trust them working on my car and looking out for my best interests.
Not pushy salespeople
Sean was extremely helpful and informative. The people make the dealership and Suburu has the best people.
I made an appointment last month to deal with an issue found by my local shop that could only be dealt with by the dealership (ECM reprogramming, with a copy of the instructions from the Subaru website). I was delayed due to snow but called ahead and was told that as long as I arrived within a half of an hour of my appointment it could be honored. I drove the five hour round trip to drop off my car at Gallatin Subaru and arrived 20 minutes late (11:20am), and was told that many technicians were going to lunch so it would take until early afternoon. Because I wanted to minimize my exposure, I spent the next several hours outside. At 3:00pm, I approached a technician and asked if my car was ready and was told that it was slotted to be looked at at 4:00pm. After explaining that I was told that it would be done in the early afternoon and that I had a morning appointment, I was told the car would be looked at next. About an hour later, I walked outside of the dealership to make a phone call and found my car sitting outside. I went inside to ask if it was finished and why I had not been contacted. The representative told me the ECM could not be reprogrammed because my radio could not be turned off. Although the radio dial is broken, the radio can be turned off by ejecting the cassette tape.Despite making an appointment, I spent five hours at the dealership plus a five hour round trip to not receive the service I scheduled. I understand that programming my ECM generates less money for the dealership than other services such as changing out snow tires, but I expected to receive the service I had scheduled. Employees were not wearing masks consistently inside the dealership including in proximity to customers, and customer mask wearing was not enforced.EDIT: It appears that Gallatin Subaru has responded. My ECU was never reprogrammed and I did not received the service I scheduled in the five hours I waited at the dealership.
Great helpful staff.
Had a great and positive experience and ended up with a great deal on a vehicle thats perfect for me. Thx Austin nelson!
Recently bought a 2020 Subaru here and was amazed with the ease and simplicity of the process. Ask for Ryland Carlson -- he was incredibly straightforward and took away any sort of headaches usually associated with the car-buying experience.
I wanted to give a shout out to Gallatin Subaru, their service department and Austin Phillips for their exceptional customer service. They took care of me and my subaru because they thought it was the right thing to do, even though I purchased the car elsewhere and am not their responsibility. I would definitely do business with this dealership!
I brought our 2016 Forester in to fix the headlights, change the oil, and get new wiper blades. The car was ready in a little over 2 hours. I was charged over $270 for labor. The total bill was over $400 for these minor repairs. Avoid this dealer for service unless you enjoy being ripped off. I was told they have “standard prices”. First and last time!
I had the best experience buying a car there. Big Mike was so nice and so helpful. He was amazing!!
New store is way too small! Nowhere to park or show vehicles, looks more like a used car lot. Furthermore, when Ive tried setting up oil change appointments in the past, always told no need for anAppointment. Showed up and tried to get oil changed today, you need an appointment, we dont have time for you. What gives??
This place is a joke. Ive had several dealings with them throughout the years and I been repetitively disappointed on both the service and repair sides. Id give examples but they have already wasted so much of my time Ill refrain. I have given them many chances but its to the point now I wont even take my car in for updated recall parts. I will find another dealership and have it completed elsewhere. A real shame with the Bozeman community being such a strong Subaru base.
Friendly people better prices then other Subaru dealerships
My partner brought his car here two weeks in a row because on both occasions they failed to take care of it during the time that they had it. On multiple occasions they failed to answer or return our calls, their mechanics were uncommunicative and inefficient, and they failed to get any work done on the car in the window of time that they provided us. Really disappointed by the lax customer service and mechanical services provided by this dealership. Will not be recommending to anyone in Bozeman.
The repair cost less than the estimate, and rather than just swapping in a new part they tried to salvage the existing one to save me even more money. I was very pleased with the loaner vehicle. Without it, I would have had to sleep on the floor in the shop.
One of the best sales experiences I have had buying a car. Salesperson - great, sales manager - great, finance manager - great. I cannot say enough great things about my experience
I stopped at Gallatin Subaru as my first stop for looking at getting a new vehicle. Ive never bought a new car before, only pre-owned, so needless to say, I was really nervous about the situation. Ryland and his sales manager both made the experience really memorable and stress free. I absolutely love my new Forester and couldnt recommend this place enough. Ryland was really conscious of the parameters I had laid out and only showed me vehicles he knew fit what I was looking for.
We were traveling thru Montana - hit a coyota on the highway, found a subura dealership in bozeman -- after owning suburas for over 15 years -- we have never experienced such POOR service!!! We just needed someone to check underneath the car, but the service person came up with a few excuses of WHY he couldnt service my brand new outback. I wouldnt recommend this service dept. to any subura owners.....poor service, and one VERY unhappy customer!!!Sincerely,Carole L. Bis
So far, I have ordered parts there. They came in on time! Plus they called me when they came in!
The hospitality was outstanding. They explained everything to me before touching my car and went over whatever had to be done. Their waiting room is also phenomenal 😂 ... not a single person went without saying hello or smiling at me. Super amazing
Had an appointment for 10:30 pulled in and there was no place to park. Went inside gave the guy My keys and he told me it would be an hour to an hour and a half I thought that’s a long time for a service. It’s now almost 2 hours later and My car is still sitting there waiting to get serviced. Multiple cars who showed up after me got in before me not really sure how the number system works but didn’t seem to go in order. My question is what was the point of making an appointment when you guys didn’t even start on the car for a couple of hours after my scheduled appointment.
Recently purchased a used Outback. A week after purchase I noticed the rear defrost element was not working. They replaced the rear windshield and offered me a free rental for the next day if the replacement did not happen in a timely manner. I cannot express how thrilled I am about choosing to buy from Gallatin Subaru! They have simply been amazing throughout the entire buying process and correcting any issues. Five + stars !
My partner and I were on a cross country road trip and heard a weird noise so we stopped and got it looked at. They found a bad CV joint but didn’t have the part on hand to fix it. They had the part overnighted and got the repair done in under 24 hours. Truly excellent service. Chance really went above and beyond to get us back on the road.
Great company that stands by their product! We recently bought an as is older Subaru that ended up with a large engine problem shortly after we purchased it. They legally didnt have to do anything about it, but they bought it back from us with little hassle to no hassle! Because it is such a great business, they can be very busy and it can take a little while to reach specific people on the phone. The staff are very helpful and courteous. We definitely recommend Gallatin Subaru and will be looking to purchase from them again.
Was a great experience getting parts from the parts department
Gallatin Subaru helped me get my key fob programmed and another key programmed to my car I just drove in and the service department sent me in and took care of everything and it was a very good experience
I recently purchased a vehicle from Gallatin out of state. These are some of the best people Ive dealt with in the car industry. They are honest, fair, extremely communicative, and all around nice people. They made the whole process easy. Whether youre local in MT or looking at their inventory remotely, these guys are top notch and you should feel good about doing business with them!
Stopped by to look at trading in 2 cars for a new one. Walked around the lot. Nobody asked if I needed help. Went inside and walked around. Nobody asked if I needed help. I guess they sell enough cars that they dont need to ask people if they need help. Small selection of vehicles. Older models (2018/2019) were being sold as-is with no warranty.
Had a minor car problem that would have made a very cold 15 hour drive home, but had very quick, very great service from Tom! Thank you!
Great place to buy a car and get it serviced!
The absolute BEST service we’ve ever received. The staff is always ready and willing to help. They are friendly, easy going and definitely care about the level of service they provide. I also really appreciate the follow up texts regarding our service experience. Thank you!!
Service is great. But communication is not. Twice now, Ive called to come in for an oil change, and am told I can get in day of as a walk-in. On both occasions, I show up, and am told they are full and cannot service my car. There seems to be a discrepancy between the call center and the service center which is frustrating when taking time out of my work day to come in. No complaints about the actual service—they do a great job.
Brought our Subaru in for service. Jacob was very helpful, pleasant, and polite
