Best haircut of my life. Went there this morning and got my haircut by Bryan. Was cutting off about 16 inches of hair, so I was fairly nervous with how it would turn out. Staff was super friendly and the shop had a very cool atmosphere. Ended up leaving the shop satisfied with my haircut for like the first time in my life. Definitely worth the wait.

7 good barbers all working at once most times. Never seen someone leave unhappy. Quick, reasonably priced haircuts. Keep it up! 👍

Walked in out of the blue Chris was able to squeeze me in for cut and beard trimming. The service was second to none. Very happy with with how my hair turned out and will definitely be back for another cut.

This place, and the barber Ashlee Beardslee, has been my go to barbershop for the past two years!Ashlee does a tremendous job of listening and figuring out what exactly her customers want from their time here. She also takes the time to learn more about you, especially if you become a regular. Plus, I have never gotten a bad haircut here. Everything has looked exactly the way I want it, and the quality of life touches (reapplying product and restyling to your preference, straight razor shaving the back of the neck, etc.) just add to the overall value of this brand.Overall, my all time favorite Barbershop, and my favorite Barber. If you find yourself in Bozeman in need of a quality barber, or simply want to try a barbershop for the first time, I highly recommend Ashlee and this shop!!!

The most unprofessional business i have been to. I had the most uncomfortable experience while the barbers shared far too much about their personal lives. The haircut was fine, but the service was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had.

Long-time patron since the shop on 7th and Bealle. Bryan, Sheri, and Jessica are highly skilled masters of the shears and straight razor. Friendly laid back atmosphere in an elegant modern minimalist take on the traditional barbershop, while retaining some of the original aesthetic and feel of the previous shop. The Barber Shop and Shaving Parlor is a Bozeman staple and an institution that is a must-visit for your coiffing and pampering needs.

Have been a loyal customer for 3+ years here. As they’ve grown they’ve started caring about the customer less and less. I was okay when they started making me book appointments, and I’ve come in early or moved times around to help fit other clients in. Never been late or missed an appointment in three years. Now I’m told I don’t have “enough stars” To book, and that “being late factors into that” - again have never been late, always tipped well, etc.Price increases and lack of caring have made this place lose what once made it so great. If you’re looking for a haircut or a barber that is loyal in return to you, look elsewhere. Plenty of other places who will give me just as good of a cut and will return my loyalty and actually care about customers.

I am on a long term visit to town, needed a cut and goatee trim and scheduled an appointment with Chris. Having an appointment was nice as there was no wait. Chris is very professional, listened to what I wanted, and gave a great cut, trim and shave. He is a good conversationalist too.

Everyone has always been friendly and the hours have been perfect for my needs.I regularly request Jet, who is fantastic at interpreting my requests and is really quite skilled.

Just got the best haircut I’ve had in a while. I would highly recommend the barbershop. Chris took care of me and was very flexible with my schedule.

I have to say, this is the best barbershop that I have ever been to in my life. The barbers are responsive to your wishes and really know how to cut your hair in a way that is stylish and flattering for your features. They are very talented, and reasonably priced. The wait times can be long, but there is no way that they could reduce them because they take the time to make every haircut the best haircut they could give. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Was looking up the hours of another place where I had been getting my hair cut when I came across this place. I quickly read some of the reviews and decided to give them a try. There were several others waiting to get their biz taken care if and had requested the owners. I did not make a specific request and had to wait less than 2 min. The guy who cut my hair did a masterful job. One of the best haircuts Ive had in the last few years. He also gave my a hot lather straight razor shave of hair on the back if my neck. What a treat. Gave a 20% tip w/o thinking twice about it. This is my new place to get a hair cut.

It was my first time getting a straight razor shave so this could just be standard but I get a smoother shave at home with less cuts on my face. It also took an hour and a half from when I walked in the door when I can do it in 30 min at home. I could deal with the wait if it was better than I can do myself. Very nice barber with excellent customer service. Fun environment.

Amazing barber shop. Sam and Sherry are my favorite barbers. They always have good suggestions for when I want to change my hair style. The shop has a fun atmosphere and everyone wants to chat (a good thing in my opinion). Be forewarned that you usually have to wait anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes for a haircut. Its worth it! There is a reason theres a long line!!

These guys are the real deal! I get my haircut by Ian. He takes his time and pays close attention to the details. They will use a straight razor just like the old school barbers use to use. Also the atmosphere in the shop is 2nd to none. Great place to get your haircut. Dont forget to put your name on the board and go early. Well worth the waiting time.

Been going fo several years. Great crew and always great cuts. Be aware there are no appointments and wait time can be long. Good news is there are several coffee places near by, sushi restaurant, distillery, and brewery. So put your name on the board and hang out. If you want to know how long ask one of the barbers but figure on 20 minutes a name.

The shop is new and bright and is located in the Cannery District development next door to 406 Brewing.As a new customer previous reviews set my expectation for a 5-Star Experience. The Shops website and previous reviews informed me that this a walk-in only establishment. No where did I read nor was I informed upon arrival that there is also a sign-in board. There is no signage in the establishment nor did any of the friendly Barbers make this known, in fact I was never greeted by anyone!I realized this board existed when a repeat customer made a comment about the board not being in its usual location and he too had not signed-in. This added additional delay, to my visit. I did point out to one of the Barbers I was a first time customer and I had been there much longer than several names on the board, she was not polite nor helpful.I returned an hour or more later and received a solid pro cut from Sheri who by the way gave the best chair massage I believe Ive ever had at a barber shop (strong hands). It is also important to note she offered the services at no charge realizing I had an excessive wait.Like other reviewers I have to pull back two stars. One for the breakdown in initial Customer Service resulting in an unreal wait and the second for not offering any appointments at all and never answering the telephone.

I absolutely love this place. I get my hair cut (it’s short and growing out from chemo baldness) here when I just need a trim or can’t get in to see my stylist. It’s a fun place with talented people. I definitely recommend it.

Just moved here and was a little weary that I wouldnt be able to find a good barbershop in town; but this place is legit. Ive gone here 4 times now and walked out with a great cut every time. Their new space is super clean and awesome. Definitely recommend you check them out in the Cannery District.

In the category of convenient and affordable barbers, this place is probably the coolest in Bozeman. The shop runs a millennial-friendly online appointment process. The barbers all sport tattoos and vaguely 50s-70s era rock and roll, biker, or punk rock clothing (and Pandora music to match), but no sour attitudes. The shop is located in the renovated Cannery building, itself brightly sun-lit and beautiful.

By far the best haircut in town. Sean has done a great job for me and all of them do a great job.

The do nice haircuts. But ever since they went to a get in line online waiting list I havent been able to get a haircut at all. I try to go online to get in line but its random timing, and I do have a job where I cant just bail because my barber is ready. If i do go in the sign is always us up saying full even at 10am. Why so averse to a scheduling system? Because of this I will probably never go back, seeing as every time I do go in, its full.

Great price, super friendly and professional service. Only reason why I didnt give a 5th star: THE WAIT. It can be up to 2 hours on the weekends (thankfully, you can get food or drinks on either side of their shop). Theyre too good for their own good!

I had a walk in haircut late in the day. The whole shop was drinking beer. They were talking about how often they drink and get drunk while working. The cut was uneven on the sides and back and he did not take my input into consideration. I asked to have a bit on the sides and back left to have some curls, but he still shaved the sides and back. The cut is not bad, but the drinking bothered me the most. Very unprofessional

Great staff. Professional and friendly. The walk-in only policy is awesome, because other old fashioned barber-shops can be booked out for two weeks (and on one occasion, very snooty). Ive tried a lot of barbers in town, and I have to say I walked away the most satisfied with my cut from this place.Money wise: they charge a dollar more than cost cutters and great clips. That dollar is more than worth it.Oh and you get a neck massage at the end which is bangin.

Quinn has been my barber since I moved to Bozeman and he always did a great job with my hair and also made it a fun time to chat about lots of interesting topics during the haircut. The Barber Shop provides an online check in experience and at the same time gives you the option to have a haircut or shave as a walk-in customer the same day that you decide to find your way to this lovely part of Bozeman, the Cannery District. Parking is easy and always available. There is an ATM conveniently located if you wish to pay your barber in cash. And there is a brewery and a coffee shop just next door. There are usually 5 or 6 barbers working at the same time inside. All are extremely friendly and professional. If you add your name to waitlist online, you can get a notification just in time for you to get in your car and head to barber just before it is your turn. You can save a lot of time and focus on your daily work instead of sitting and waiting at the barbershop. Haircut was about 30 bucks at the time this comment is written.

Great haircuts but world’s worst scheduling system. In no way should I have to set an alarm for 6am, try continuously for over an hour to “get in line”, have the system repeatedly give me the “sorry we’re not open or we’re full” screen over and over, and then suddenly pop up with “all spots are full” and 6 are on the waitlist. Go somewhere else where you can actually be served or reach a person on the phone.

Fun atmosphere, but my Fiance got a terrible hair cut... the trim was uneven and the cleanup on the back and sides were completely different from one another. Im very sad it wasnt done well.

I made an appointment online three days in advance with Matt. I arrived to the shop at the scheduled time, and had to wait 20 min. I then learned that Matt had given my slot to a random walk in. Matt spent 15 min on my cut, and barely said a word to me. The cut I ended up with was mediocre at best. The side burns were cut way too short, and one was cut much higher than the other. I cant speak for the other barbers in the shop, but I would recommend avoiding Matt.

I just moved her last week and needed a shave. I walked in and asked if they had availabilities today, the barber says “can’t you read” and pointed at the sign that said “no openings today”. No reason to be a asshat buddy. I will never be back.

Phone number is disconnected and when you try to use the website it has poorly worded, grammatically horrific message that pretty much says “tough luck.” How is this a way to run a business?

Ive been going here for a few years now, before then I had a really hard time finding someone in Bozeman that could do a nice fade like you would get in the city. Ive been complemented on my cut out of state in larger cities, like Las Vegas, and they cant believe I got something like that in Montana.

Place has good reviews so I hurried out of work to get there before they close (at 6). I get to the parking lot just before 5:30 and they are flipping the open sign to closed. This has happened several times now, and I still havent gotten a hair cut here. If youre not going to stay open till six, dont put it on your sign. Guys haircuts dont take 30 minutes. They dont even take 15 minutes. Theres no reason to close up that early.
