Sat down, waited, got ignored for 10 minutes, then was told they only take reservations. Rude lady... no sign on the door at the time mentioning the whole appointment thing. (this was about 2 years ago)
Awesome shop! Couldnt get an appointment online and we were pressed for time. Micaela found a small opening in her schedule and I got a great cut, beard grooming and found a great new product for my beard. She saved the day!
These gals are pros. It can be tough to find an opening, but so worth the wait.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Super friendly barbers. Sharp scissors, razors, and wit. I got Rachael for my first visit and she was wonderful all around. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. Also, the products they use smell pretty darn good. Will go again and will recommend!
This is a first class experience. They have not been open long so I have only been there twice. However, the gals that operate it have been cutting my hair for quite some time and I have never been disappointed. There is usually a wait but thats no problem. Bacchus and White Dog are right around the corner. Super easy walk from the parking garage or anywhere else downtown.
The best place anywhere for a haircut and beard trim. Reasonable prices and excellent service.
Id love to give these guys a try, but theres no way to reach them. They dont answer email, and when you call, their number goes to voice mail, only their mailbox is full. They arent going to last very long as a business if they dont know how to actually communicate with potential customers. As a guy, I get my haircut ever 2-3 weeks, so thats about $600 a year of customer value lost. I hope they fix this issue, but Ill look elsewhere.
Hardest place to ever get an appointment
These barbers are great, but whats the point of having the option to choose which barber you want if this option will not be honored anyway? I almost never get the barber I want, and its really frustrating. Id love to get the barber I choose when I set an appointment, but if it doesnt matter anyway then remove the option from the website. I will change this rating to 5 stars once this is fixed.REPLY: I always set an appointment and I choose the barber I want every time, but I rarely get the barber that I choose online. Thats what I mentioned in my original review above.REPLY: Yes, I am reviewing the correct barbershop. And yes, I know that there is an option to choose which barber I want - Ive already said that. I select the barber I want (that is available for the time I have selected), but I only get the barber I choose online about 25% of the time (and I choose the same barber every time). I know that you have said the barber you choose is the barber you get, but Im letting you know that this is not always the case.
They get so much clientele here due to the lack of barber availability that this review doesnt matter. However, I would like to point out that this place is a genius of have your cake and eat it too, heres why. If you walk-in, you put your name on a wish list. The wish is that you will actually leave the place with a haircut. In theory, its completely possible that you could sit in their waiting area all day and not receive a haircut because they take on appointments too. So, as you and others wait, appointments are held thus pushing those waiting in person further and further down the list. Ive spent two hours here waiting, on two occasions, and still had 5 people in front of me. It hadnt changed for an hour. The expectation with this kind of policy is that you, the customer, have all the time in the world to sit around and wait without and assurance that youll be seen. They do not communicate with you about incoming appointments and the likelihood that youll be seen within a reasonable time. They should go appointment only, or walk-in only; theres enough business for either to cover them. To continue with this policy given the number of complaints about waiting is just disrespectful to the consumer. We come there for a service and not all of us have the ability to make an appointment in advance because the need for a haircut arises with some other event (e.g. a job interview). Im sure they provide great haircuts but, Ill never know because Ive never been able to be seen here within two hours of waiting and thats bad customer service.

Love this boutique Montana style barber shop... The only place I actually enjoy country music. Im very picky when it comes to my haircut, and every visit I leave highly satisfied. Yes, they are always busy, but I find that to be a good thing versus bad. Id be concerned if they werent busy, it would give me the impression nobody likes their haircut. So they dont answer the phone 100% of the time. What do you expect? Have you had your haircut there yet? Do you notice how much they take care of you while youre getting your hair did? Now imagine they stop cutting your hair every few minutes to answer the phone. Dont you think its more important to take care of the customer in their seat at the moment versus someone on the phone? I make my appointments in person versus over the phone out of courtesy. Could they use more barbers? Of course, but theyre not hiring just anyone off the street, theyre seeking people that are great just like the current barbers there.
Just got my first haircut from this place and I do say they earned a new loyal customer. Rachel was my barber and she sure can do a nice and very clean skin fade. I usually hard part my cut and prefer it slim, bravo in giving me my thinnest straight razor part. I will be back in now time and telling anyone who asks for a great cut and experience. Another plus, they made the store very cool inside.
The girls really know how to trim up a beard. They are great to talk with and really take an interest in their customers. If you are one of those people that dont know how to set up an appointment with them prior to coming dont be mad that you have to wait on the people that set up an appointment. I refer all of my bearded friends to go in and get a trim here, I do tell them that they should plan on a wait or set up an appointment because these girls are great at what they do and are very busy.
I’ve been there before and had a great experience, and I understand that they are busy, but there was a major scheduling problem that really frustrated me.I booked an appoint for Friday, the 24th, a few weeks before and realized I had to cancel it. I could not just cancel the appointment online, so I left two voicemails letting them know I needed to cancel because I did not hear any response, and made another appointment for Monday the 27th (confirmed thru email).When I showed up on the 27th they told me I had missed my appointment for the 24th and that I did not have anything scheduled for the day.I have the confirmation email for both appointments, and no messages that either of them were canceled. It may have been a technical issue, but regardless, it was very frustrating to have scheduled my day for the haircut and then to show up and find out that not only had they not cancelled an appointment I had tried several times to cancel, but did not have me on their schedule for the time I had rescheduled to be there.I’m sure they give great haircuts and are very busy, but the scheduling/cancellation process is needlessly complicated.
My barber, Kyle, was amazing! The wait was relatively short when I went in and everyone was super friendly. Kyle was very professional, but still friendly and inviting and most of all my haircut was awesome! Ive finally found someone I trust with my short hair!
Felt like a $30 haircut but was only $15. It has a country interior design with country music in the background. My barber paid very close attention to what he was doing and was gentle. I have blonde hair as well so it is very noticeable to see mistakes and have not seen any. Plus the oil they use after shaving your neck and making fine hairline edges was extremely nice with a warm towel.
Great haircuts, but really can’t get the scheduling down. I made an appointment at noon almost a WEEK in advance. Came in 5 minutes early and they said it would be another half an hour. If I had wanted my appointment to start at 12:30, I would have made it then. Totally messed up my day.
Was quoted a wait of 15 minutes on a walk in before being seated. I expected a wait of about a half hour. 2 and a half hours later I am finally seated. They stopped mid cut to be on the phone for 15 mins and chat with other walk ins.Attempted to give them another chance and set an appointment this time with a 2 week wait time and a recommendation of walking in.
This place is great! Awesome barbers, great trims, super prices, and the hot towel is not to be missed! I would suggest booking an appointment, these gals are in high demand.

I called twice and emailed with no response so I recidde to just walk in and wait. I showed up 20 minutes before they opened and was the second on the list for a walk in appointment. I waited two hours and had to leave because there was no sign of me getting in for at least one more hour. I have had a haircut here before and it was great,the problem is I dont have hours of time to wait for a CHANCE of possibly getting a haircut. Maybe move to appointment only and actually make it possible for people to make an appointment.

Went to the website at about 9:30, got my name on the list. They got to me at about 2, gave me an excellent haircut, and had me out within half an hour. Anyone complaining about not being able to get a cut simply doesnt know how to do it properly.

Love this place. I am sure they all do a great job, but I use McKayla for no particular reason other than she did a great job the first time and continues to do the same everytime after. Best 0 to fade I have ever had, and this is not easy for everyone to do. Oh yeah, great price point as well.
Worst experience ever. First and last time stepping into this business. Horrible customer service. I waited an hour and half with no acknowledgement as to when I would be served or the wait time. I understand appointments come first, but to be completely ignored, and passed over multiple times, is unacceptable. Thank God I didnt give them any of my money.

Went from 5star to one star VERY quickly. They dont answer the phone. An automatic answering system tells you to go online. Once the appointments are full they shut down the page instead of showing a calendar to schedule payer appointments. IF you get an appointment you will arrive on time only to sit and wait because they cant keep their schedule straight. I found a new barber shop and theyre quicker, more experienced, and much more personable. Extra perk, when I call them a frickin person answers the phone!#UPDATE# At least 20% of the reviews, including some of the positive ones, talk about how horrible the wait, hours, and scheduling is. Maybe that would be a good place to start.
