I just got my nails done there for a special occasion that I have this weekend I discussed with my nail tech that I needed white With sparkles and that’s the color we picked out together. And while she was doing my nails the color was completely pink and she blamed ME for not telling her sooner although she picked out the color with me. I Was a good customer I will never be coming back!!! Unprofessional!

I have used Sugarcoat for the past 2 year. Beverly is absolutely amazing. She is punctual and professional. The rest of the staff is always super friendly too. I will never use another nail salon or tech again.

I had a sugarcoat pedicure to spoil myself and it was an awesome experience. Jade was very focused and detail oriented. My pedicure was phenomenal and came out exactly how I wanted. Very relaxing, I will definitely be back. My appointment was right at 9:30 and I was in the chair getting started right on time. I appreciated that!

Jasmine was so fast and amazing. Did my first ever set of acrylics, she really nailed my style 🙌

I will not go anywhere else! The staff are all extremely attentive and friendly and I always look forward to my monthly appointments. If youre looking for beautiful acrylic/dip, Taps is your man!! The pictures of my sets & his work can speak for themselves, but I also want to just comment that its very rare to go to a salon and feel like youre hanging out with friends rather than getting a service. If thats the kind of experience youre looking for, I cant recommend this place more!

I don’t usually do bad reviews because I understand running a business is hard and I tried to work it out with the nail tech and the salon but no one was accommodating to me.I came to this salon for a fill the first time and I was helped right away and the nail tech was great.Because of this I suggested my friend go, and she did. I’m not sure who her tech was, she did a great job on the designs but the nail itself was very thin and seemed to not have enough product. She liked them but a day later she had a broken nail. The nail cracked straight across the nail bed and bled. She had to wait a few days to repair it because it was painful. When she went in for a repair she was charged for it and the tech who repaired the nail (Claudia) did a better job then whoever did them initially. 4 days later another broken nail, cracked down the middle just like the other one. This was bad a bled profusely. This is unacceptable and dangerous, it hasn’t even been 2 weeks. I feel so bad suggesting this place to her.As for me, my negative experience was the following: I scheduled a full set and made an appointment for Friday April 23. I had to wait because the nail tech I was supposed to be with had to leave or whatever happened I ended up with a new nail tech. She was nice and talkative but she didn’t listen to what I wanted. I asked for pink acrylic for my style and she applied regular acrylic and was intending to paint over it with gel polish but that’s not what I asked for... I had to stop her and ask her about the pink acrylic that I originally asked for (pink lemonade) and she removed the one finger of the regular clear acrylic. I also asked for a square narrow shape and most of my nails look coffin, only one of them is the shape I wanted. She then proceeded to lay the acrylic on the nail sparingly, and I told her I thought they were thin and asked her to make them thicker because they’re so long. She seemed reluctant and said that the acrylic wasn’t dry yet and that’s why it appeared to not be thick enough. Immediately after my nails were done I knew they were still not satisfactory but she had another appointment and I couldn’t wait there longer than I already had. I noticed lifting immediately and a few days later I went back and showed her and she admitted herself that they were thin and lifting. I told her I wasn’t trying to be difficult but I wasn’t used to my nails lifting after a few days or at all for that matter. Longer nails cost more because they require more product so I don’t understand why she didn’t just make them thicker in the first place. She asked if I could come back to let her fix them and I told her I could come the next day. The next day I called to see if she was there and available to fix my nails and I was told she was not. I asked if anyone could help me and fix them because I literally feel like they’re going to break and I don’t wanna hurt myself. The lady on the phone said no one was available and I would receive a call when the nail tech returned. I never got a call, nothing. Completely unacceptable. I went to the same salon for years until recently because of a situation like this. You can’t just treat people any kind of way especially when they’re spending their money. I wanted to like this place so bad but I can’t with the level of unprofessionalism.

Sugar Coat is an outstanding nail shop. From the moment you walk in your greeted with excellent service. The works there are genuine and very pleasant. The decor is breathtaking and usually in nail shops you have the harsh smell of chemicals but not in Sugarcoat. The tech that did my nails was Lina, I love the way she works, very professional, doesn’t rush and she’s clean and very detailed ! This is not only a job for these girls they actually love what they do ! Well worth the 45 minute drive !Did I mention how beautifully decorated Sugarcoat Nail Lab is ! 👌🏽👌🏽

Lina, Beverly and everyone else here is great!! Lina has been doing nails for 15 years. They just opened up about a year and a half ago, but they are very busy every time you walk in. Lena is the best, you could tell her anything you want on your nails, and she can match it. Show her a picture and literally never disappoints.

I see them wipe down after each service, everyone has on a mask, my pedicure was everything I needed! I didn’t feel rushed and she didn’t pity-pat my massage! I’ll definitely be back!

I stumbled upon this excellent nail place when I recently moved to Boynton Beach and desperately looked for someone who can do gel manicures that can last more than a week. I am also very particular. Claudia was such a sweetheart and did a great job, and I’ve been using her ever since!

Claudia not only is amazing at her job, but she makes you feel right at home and is so nice and professional. I highly recommend going to this salon!

They were running slightly behind.I was a little sad there wasnt massage chairs for the pedi.Those were my only cons. Everything else was amazing!I got claudia. The columbian one. She told me to ask for the columbian claudia, because there is more than one claudia there !She was amazing! Best foot massage!I got the.... hmmm it seems the website took down their menu right now. I think it was called the deluxe?The hot wax stuff stuff was new to me, but deff made my feet feel so super smooth! I feel the deluxe is worth the money!The shocker was my nails! Maybe it was just good luck, but I can never keep my acrylics on long. I went near march 8th for my nails.......... then COVID19 hit and couldnt get them removed! THEY LASTED TILL 4/28/2020. I finally took them off that day! But WOW! Yes, there was a chip on a few, but I washed my truck and nicked them on my rims. They stayed on for so long! Usually they rip off of me so easily. So surprised!I cant wait to go back and try them again!

I had my nails and waxing done by Beverly the owner. Ive never had my nails done before and when I asked her what the difference between gel and regular polish was all she said was that one lasted longer. I showed her a picture of ombre paint and she said that she would have to use powder to do that she never said that the powder was going to cost $60 to do. she didnt explain any kind of upcharges until after everything was done and we got to the register. When I asked her if she could just take everything off because I didnt like the way it came out she simply said that she would have to upcharge for the removal also. She also double-dipped the stick for my underarm waxing. She walked away and her sister who I guess is the co-owner was very confrontational with me and very rude and instead of apologizing said I should have known better,

I’ve been to a few of the top rated nail salons in Boynton but this one tops them all. The staff is friendly and experienced. The atmosphere is vibrant and modern, yet tranquil. If you’re looking for a breath of fresh air, you found it. Plus my nails are flyyy.

I have been to this nail salon a few different times since it opened and I have always received friendly and professional service. I am most impressed with the care given to each client in order to meet the clients needs. I took my boyfriend because his feet need professional helpful and was quite satisfied with the end result - his feet looked the best they have ever. I’ve been seeing Jasmine for almost a year now and my nails have never been better. I love this nail salon. Everything has always been spotless! I just went a few days ago after they reopened due to covid and they took so many extra precautions to make me feel safe and taken care of. My temperature was taken at the door, everyone wore a mask, and everything was sanitized. I’m grateful for how much this place values and takes care of their customers!

I arrived early and Vivana saw me right away. She helped me choose a color and was super patient with me to perfect the shape and length I wanted. So thankful I stumbled across this place ! 100% will be back.

I have been here 2 times and have had great service and staff is wonderful. Great manicure and pedicure both times. I was disappointed and uncomfortable that some customers did not have masks on when I was there last time. Also employees were taking their masks on and off. Did not see much cleaning sorry to say. My understanding when a business says they require masks everyone should be wearing a mask that covers their mouth and nose including children. Not comfortable returning.

I booked an appointment for pedicure, nails, and eyebrows. I received a pedicure which was great, but my nails and eyebrows didn’t get done because the lady that did my nails told me “your appointment only said pedicure” when I know I asked to be booked for all three. She literally had me leave after I told her I booked it and they told me I could come back at 11:45 even though I had already been there since 9:30am and she finished my pedicure at 10:40am. I’m highly upset that I now have to find another nail salon to do my nails and my eyebrows.

My wife loves this place. After trying so many other salons in the area my wife found this place and she couldnt be happier.

I was very pleased to see a new salon near my home. I was even more excited when I walked in and was greeted by a young lady who I could explain my dilemma and she could clearly respond with an easy solution. I am particular when it comes to my nails. I had my appointment with Tiffany and she was fantastic. She was detailed and pleasant to speak to. The entire atmosphere of this salon is welcoming and relaxing.

DISORGANIZED. I booked an appointment in-person two weeks in advance, made special care to arrive on time, and came only to find that my appointment, which I watched be booked, wasnt in the system. The workers up front refused to acknowledge their mistake, and told me wait for another day of availability even though I had made this reservation specifically to fit into my time schedule. Excellent nail services marred by poor organization.

I went to sugarcoat for the first time and it was a great experience! The salon is super cute and clean. Beverly did my nexgen and Liz did my pedicure. My nails and toes haven’t looked this good in years. They were both really nice, took their time and did an awesome job. I was very impressed. I’ve found my new nail salon!

When she notified us that she was moving from Miami to Boynton Beach there was no way we were going to find a new nail tech. Tonight was the 3rd time of me trying this place and everytime they completely skip the lotion with the massage. Not one drop of lotion touched my leg just the scrub and cooling gel. $55 for a pedicure am disappointed about the massage part everything but the actual polish is rushed every time.

Gabby gave me the best pedicure I’ve had. Treated me so nicely and when I told her the middle of my foot was sensitive she listened unlike other times I’ve had a pedicure. 10/10 recommend :)

I got my nails done recently here and it was very nicely decorated, the music was very upbeat and the overall salon had a very nice atmosphere. My nails though, weren’t glued on correctly and two have fallen off, and the actual layers of my nex-gen have begun to peel. (In just a week) I enjoyed the experience here, but my nails did not turn out the way I hoped they were would.

The SugarCoat Nail Lab is incredibly beautiful. The vibe is cool and calm. Friendly receptionist and Lina is the best nail professional in South Florida. I was driving to Homestead for quality work. Which was one and half hours away! Now, I take a thirty minute drive and it’s well worth the drive.

Only my second time there but always an enjoyable experience. Hannah is friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. I feel very comfortable with her and she always does a great job.

Stopped in today to try them out after seeing the salon while getting tattooed next door. I was lucky enough to sit at Tiffanys chair and despite my nail not cooperating, she got it done and my manicure is gorgeous! Definitely going there again! The place is so cute and different from the usual salon.

The chairs are super comfy, and there is a blanket to get cozy with. The prices are on par for the same services in the area. It was OK, I honestly expected it to be better. For an organic pedicure it was basic. Waited over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment. The girl that did my pedicure was sweet. The blonde girl upfront was rude. Didn’t have a good first impression, probably not going to be a returning customer.

Ugh I wanted to love this place. Cute interior and nice designs. I’ve been getting Nexgen for a year and always wear them for a long time w/no issues or breakage.My nails looked beautiful but one broke a week later. They charged me to fix them. Another one just broke right down the middle. This has literally never happened to me at any salon.I was tempted to go back because the shape is nice, but it just isn’t as sturdy as other Nexgen places.

This nail salon is number one for palm beach county. When I first walked in I thought I was in Beverly Hills the ambiance is to die for and the staff is beyond amazing and the service is so luxurious. I had a pedicure done by Hannah she was great and my sister got hers done by Tifa she was amazing as well. Definitely worth visiting at least once in your life.
