Company responded quickly when HVAC quit working. It took a few visits to correct the various problems and they were responsive each time to get the job completed and working. Good at communicating and checking that warranty took care of the parts. Recommend them highly.
They put my unit and done a good job. Unit capacitor went out after about 1.5 yr and so I called them to come fix it. It took them 5 days to get to me with the temps reaching over 90 degrees. Then the tech shows up without the part to fix it and then charges me for the drive time for him to go get it when I live 30min away. I never have had any company to charge me for drive time. That is what the service charge is. Its not my fault that they did not come prepared. Bad business!!
Will never call again!We had a service man come out and look at our free standing gas heating unit that had stopped working. He did come out a day later than was scheduled and when I say look that is all he did. After we described how the heater was behaving, he didnt even bother to assess the problem, never removed the service panel to check the condition/issue.He got on his cell phone and called for a replacement unit and gave us a quote of $1476.00 and told us we needed to make our decision within the hour. Talk about high pressure sales!We told him no because we didnt have the money.When we awoke the next morning to snow, ice and freezing temperatures, we called our neighbor for help.He came over took the panel off and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. All he had to do was blow out the gas line from the wall to the heater. It works perfectly now and we are toasty warm!All the service man wanted to do was sell a heating unit, price gouge us and pressure is into it because of the impending weather.I would not trust this crooked company to ever come to my home again for anything.
I hate that I cant give them a 0. I had used BG Refrigeration in the past to replace a heat pump in a previous house and they did a fine job but apparently something has changed. I could not get them to give me quote! The first time I called and requested a quote they took my information and told me someone would be in touch to schedule a time. I never heard from anyone so 2 days later I called back. They took my information again and this time a gentleman named Chris called me back and said he could come the next day in the mid morning which should have been my first clue as to his organizational abilities. Needless to say he did not show up after I had made arrangements to have someone there to meet him. I decided to give them one more opportunity so I called them back a couple of days later and this time they connected me directly with Chris. He said that the first appointment must have slipped through the cracks and said he would come the next morning around 8 a.m. once he got the guys out. It is now after 9:00 and again I made arrangements to be here and no one shows up. I am glad their business is doing so well that they dont need any more customers because they wont get this business and I hope if you are reading this they dont get yours. Good Luck!
They showed up to repair my AC unit that they installed the year prior, but they didnt bring the parts needed to fix it. I was charged for their trip to get the part and back. They worked on my unit for less than 1 hour but I was charged for a 2.5 hour job.
Bowling Green Redrigeration Heating and Cooling is by far the best company we have ever worked with...it really doesnt get any better from A-Z, we had a problem that was smaller the. What we were told by another business. I would suggest this company to my closet friends and family!

The technician wrote up a bunch of things that were wrong and there was only 1 part needed to fix the problem. So I have a nice big hefty bill for him doing nothing and writing up a bunch of BS. Will never use them again!! Example: He said my thermostat was messed up-he left the old one and i took it home, hooked it up to my system and it works fine...Liars and cheaters trying to take your money!!!!! I wish there was a 0 star rating.
Called BG Refrigeration with a no heat call. Brad was able to schedule a service call the same day. Brad was upfront on cost of service pricing and expection to be paid at time of visit. Service Technician Devon was able to diagnose and repair my system the same day. Very professional.
I read the bad reviews and they must have read them and put forth an action plan. After having issues with another airservice company, my husband contacted them. The next day a tech showed up on time and was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. I wanted a second opinion especially after noticing that the first tech didnt do his job. (Asked for spring maintenance & filter change, looked at the unit and it was obvious that it hadnt been cleaned because the debris from the fall was still in the unit and he was to order a filter. After multiple calls over the next month, still no filter and my unit suddenly stopped working and after emailing the owner, he sent the same tech out and he said that the motor was not working meaning big $$$$ for the unit. The tech had previously put in a temporary filter in it and yet a month passed and no replacement and no returning of my calls, hence needing another opinion)The second opinion was the same which was bad news BUT Brad took the EXTRA time and found that the motor was still under warranty saving us over $500.00. So far Im extremely pleased and it supposed to be installed tomorrow.
Very unprofessional!!! Tech was supposed to return blower motor and instead of handing it to me like I did for him. He tossed it in my driveway and sped off. The same day I had a tech from different company cone and do the job for LESS than half what they quoted. Will never recommend them to ANYONE!
