Tin Man Installers and Tin Man Rep. Nikki were wonderful! We scheduled my 91 year old Father to have a new needed AC to be installed and it stopped working before installation date! They moved up the installation date to the very next morning and it works beautifully!THANK YOU Tin Man! You took great care of my Dad!

Inexcusable experience. I pay (past tense now) the company monthly fee which includes a yearly HVAC check/tune up. Tin Man said the AC was fine but found a leak in my hot water tank and quoted my wife 10k for a replacement 75g tank. I called to confirm the quote and they said the absolute cheapest they could get one was 7k. Supply chain issues are real so I looked for one myself just to be certain. I found one the next day in town for $1800. Called Tin Man to install it since I was paying them the preferred customer monthly fee. Tin Man said they wouldn’t b/c they couldn’t guarantee the work as I didn’t buy it thru them. Called two other companies each said that simply isn’t true so I used one of them to install. The new company came to install the water tank only to find out that it wasn’t the source of the leak and I didn’t need a new water tank after all. They found the source quickly and fixed it. Finally, Tin Man never serviced the HVAC they came out to do in the 1st place - and said they did. The humidifier was still set for winter and the humidifier pad hadn’t been changed in a very very long time. I sent a detailed email to the owners and they never responded so that alone speaks to their character. Draw your own conclusions from the facts.

Blower motor failed in my furnace. I was able to have the same Technician to diagnose and correct my issue. He was very courteous and wonderful to communicate with. Other than the cost the experience was great.

We have had issues with our AC unit for a couple of years. After trying several different companies and having no luck. We called Tinman and the receptionist knew about the type of AC was able to get a repairman out to diagnose the issue. And we got it fixed. They were able to work around our crazy schedules and did the work efficiently.

Responded quickly. Wasnt sure about charges as they were not listed. Just a total. Thought it was rather expensive but AC is working great. Service technician knew what to do. Will use again.

Overall I am always pleased with Tinman. Usually I have a days notice before showing up but for some reason I had no notice. Luckily I was able to make changes to my schedule when they showed up.

Provided an estimate and installed the unit on the date we set up. Serviceman was courteous and professional. Installed and running in 1 day.

I called and they were able to send someone out within 4 hours when other places I had called told me they could not send someone out for two weeks. Alex called ahead of his arrival and then came and diagnosed the issue. He was very professional. Unfortunately for us, we will need to replace our AC unit. It was installed in 1994 so that was not a surprise to us. Alex got details and he was able to set me up with an appointment for a quote the next day. If we go with their quote I can update this review with the outcome.

I called about an issue with my AC. They scheduled me to receive service within 48 hours and that was only in an attempt to work around my schedule. The technician was prompt, called before he came and was courteous.

The were all very professional and ended up being $4000 less expensive than the others same guarantee less expensive

The workers installed a new furnace and air conditioner. They put new lines in.

My old furnace gave up on me, so had to have a new one. Tin Man replaced my furnace and AC did a great job took the old furnace and a AC cleaned up every thing. I had this company out the diagnosed why my furnace wasn’t working. The young man said that my control board was out. He quoted me @$960 to replace the part. I got the part for $200 ( non returnable from a shop only to find out that the board was perfectly fine. So $400 wasted when it was a completely different part. What a disappointment!!

The technician did an excellent job. We were surprised, however, at the cost of the minor duct work to prepare for the installation of a new hood over the range.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDI have a propane wall heater for extra heat if it’s really cold that wasn’t working properly. Tin Man came out and inspected it. I decided to just buy a new one. They came out & installed it. There was an extra part/safety valve on the new one that hadn’t been in the old heater. Mark went back into town to get the part, installed it & capped it when finished. Was impressed he didn’t just decide, don’t have to have the part & hung the part on a wire after he capped it so it wouldn’t get lost. Great idea. He checked everything over to make sure it was working & no leaks. He cleaned up & took old heater, packing & box with him. I couldn’t even tell he had been working here it was so cleaned up. He had me start the heater to be sure I knew how to work it. Mark answered my many questions & never acted like they were dumb questions.I would highly recommend Tin Man for heating & cooling concerns. Very thorough & reasonable.

No one likes it when something like an air conditioner fails, but it is a big help when people like the folks at Tin Man come to the rescue. Maverick was great, and very friendly. The HVAC tech who came to our home was very polite. In fact, our first appointment was missed because of a miscommunication between my wife and I and he just calmly rescheduled. However, our Geothermal system was misdiagnosed as having a failed compressor. I was given a guesstimate of anywhere from $3,000 for a compressor replacement to as much as $8,000 or more for a new system. After suffering a minor Coronary I got a second opinion approximately three days later. A faulty capacitor was found to be the problem. It was a $20 part. I called Tin Man back and asked for half of the diagnostic fee to be refunded, since we had missed an appointment. I was told that simply could not be done. Beware any company that doesnt stand behind their work. For any Geothermal work I would highly recommend Prime Electric.

I would give the serviceman 5 stars. He was on time and he was very professional and he was able to explain what the problem was with the air conditioning unit. On the other hand I thought the charges were high. I had TinMan Heating come out last October, 2019 to service our unit and the charge was very reasonable. This time the charges were three times higher. That was quite the shock.

Alex, the technician, came and checked our air conditioning! He was very friendly and checked all components of the system. He answered my questions and told me if we had any problems to contact Tin Man!! Excellent service!!! Highly recommend this company!

The service guy not only tried to over charge me, but when I told him that I was not going to have him do the maintenance, he took the screws holding the equipment together! Do not reccomend

They wanted to charge $300 to replace a garbage disposal that was under warranty. It’s the standard fee (period). I took the part to the store and screwed in the new one in 10 minutes. The part was free. I’m so thankful that I did it myself. They are great for heating and cooling. Don’t call them for plumbing needs.

Maverick, the technician, was here as early as promised. He was friendly and courteous and went to work with dispatch. He ran several tests, tried different strategies, and was able to get me running. He double checked things to make sure everything was operating properly. I give him an A Plus.

Michael, the technician just put a fan to push more cold air to upstairs room for further cooling. He was very professional, patient, explained all the questions I had. Tim man was on time and responsive. We stayed with Tinman with their service for 25 years. Michael, today was great !!

I called on a Friday night, thinking I would go a whole weekend without heat, but they sent someone immediately. Troy was great. He explained everything so clearly, that I understood exactly what was wrong with our furnace. He made sure we would have heat through the weekend since the part was going to need special ordered. He called and texted us updates through the weekend, to make sure we knew what was going on, and to make sure we were still warm. The part came in Tuesday, and he came right over to fix it. No more issues! We had a great experience!

Did a great job installing the new boiler. Stayed and made sure the system was completely rid of air in the pipes and the 3 loops were heating properly. They put a cover over our carpet to make sure it didnt get dirty with them going in and out of the house. Took everything with them. Didnt have to clean up anything.

Was very impressed with Adam and Ian. They put shoe coverings on over their shoes, they were very polite, they were steadily and explain things to us and told us about the warranty and that through we would have service for a year and that we could buy service after that . Both young men were very pleasant. Caleb came in and took care of the thermostat and we have brick walls which is very challenging and he was very polite about it my husband asked him to do something extra with the backing on the thermostat end it was difficult to do drilling through the brick so my husband changed his mind about it and Caleb was just as nice as the other two young men. I cannot say enough about Tin Man based on my last experience! When getting the run around from our home warranty company, they fought for us and got us our replacement tank as expected! Installation was completed today with a level of friendliness and respect that isn’t received often. If they are a little more than the next guy, spend it! It’ll be worth it.

The technician that came out was great. Polite and explained everything. However, I had to pay an $88 fee for something that should have been done at my yearly check that I pay to be a “member”.

Alex was very professional and able to not only fix my issues with my furnace, but also answer any questions that I had. I was also not nickled and dimed for the work and was only charged for a furnace tune-up. Pricing was very reasonable and I would definitely hire this company again whenever I need HVAC maintenance, installation, or repair.
