I did my nails for homecoming at this place and they were amazing! Since I did them last minute I was afraid it would be tough to find somewhere where it wasn’t busy. I stumbled soon this place and I loved the way my nails turned out! The employees were sweet and it only took half an hour for my white tip nails. I’m very content with the service!

Love them. They work quickly, without making it seem like they’re rushing to the next customer, and do a great job. Lots of colors to choose! Fair prices and I love the way they look!!!

I have been coming to this salon for almost 10 years and they are amazing! They do very good work very quickly. I definitely recommend.

I used to go to this place all the time. They are nice and are good to remember their people. However, the last few times Ive gone in, its been so raced and rushed. For example, today, I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time. When she finally got to me, she rushed through it. My whole pedicure (including the nail art) was done in 15 minutes. She hardly massaged my leg and totally skipped massaging my feet. I just feel they have definitely lost their touch and I think for the price you pay, you should get more service. On the bright side, they are good at the nail art. If youre wanting a quick rush in and out and dont care about a good scrub on the bottom of your feet or a thorough massage, then this might be for you.

Ive been going to Number One Nails for years. I always have Van do my fingernails, pedicures and facial waxing. Never been disappointed best place & Very good prices. I usually do acrylic but I allowed my nails to grow out. Van did these nails for me today with gel . Love it not thick but strong

I called and got right in. Tiffany was wonderful!

We always get very good service. They are very quick but very thorough and my toes look fabulous. The leg scrub/massage is wonderful, and throw in the hot towels and Im in heaven.

I am currently here with my 16 month old daughter, I have as a walk in and it’s my first time here... I told them my daughter might throw a fit so if I’m lucky and she doesn’t (which hasn’t happened at a nail salon, she ALWAYS does) that i would get my toes done too but chances are low because after my nails I’ll probably need to leave because she’ll be on full blown tantrum mode. I can’t believe how fast she (her name is Tina) did my nails and she bent down under the nail station and did my toes so that I could hold my daughter. I am so impressed and I am never going anywhere else. She was speedy and my nails turned out incredible!!!!!

Great service! The technician was super nice and easy to talk to. They did really well with the nails and design on them. I got gel nails and with the wait, service, and payment I was only there for 40 min!

As always with my Tina a great creative wonderful time. She is do talented and always does beautiful work.

My technician was too fast and rough. He hurt my toes with his cuticle cutters and when he cleaned under my toe nails. The callous removal was only a sponge and not well done. I’m disappointed and will not go back.

I have never been so offended and disgusted at a nail salon in my life. I had a schedule appointment to get my nails done, and I arrived 5 minutes early. Once I had been waiting for 15 minutes, two other ladys walked in. Once a spot opened up they took one of the walk ins first even tho my appointment had started 10 minutes ago. Then 15 minutes later when the next spot opened up they took the other person who was a walk in. I had to wait 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before I finally got helped. I tried to be friendly and make conversation with the lady doing my nails, she had short responses then wouldnt talk to me. I sat awkwardly in complete silence. And then to top it off they made me pay for my nail service BEFORE she was finished with my nails. They treated me like I was going to run out without paying just because I was a teenager. I know this is not common practice because I get my nails done very frequently, and I watched 3 other customers not even get asked to pay until after they were done with their nails. RUDE. By the way they dont use new files for each person, nor do they sanitize their tools which is DISGUSTING. Never going back nor do I recommend coming here. They dont even deserve a 1 star rating.

I don’t usually get manicures or pedicures but I went and Tina did mine she was super gentle and I didn’t wait long they have a lot of staff and move you through. I just got my toes regular painted and it’s been three weeks and they still aren’t chipping and the gems are still on my toes too.They also treated my four year old daughter like a princess and did her nails and a cute design on her toes and it was really affordable compared to other places I will go back again very soon!

This is my go to nail salon! I recommend them to everyone. I used to go somewhere in kaysville but they were rude and over priced. Then I came to number one nail salon it is awesome. They always do exactly what I want with my nails and if they put a color on that I wasn’t a fan of they don’t hesitate to change it. They are so nice, and my favorite place to get acrylics.

So sorry to write this review. But I have never have had a bad pedicure ever. It looked like a two year old painted my toe nails yesterday at Number One Nail Salon. First of all, he nicked my toe on my left foot and I said, this does not feel good. He said, he did nothing to me. Then I noticed each employee do not have their own sanitized clippers, filing boards or sponges they scrub your feet with. They are all in the drawer by their seats and they share with the employee sitting next to them. These are being used on every customer!!!! I noticed this, because I started watching all their employees. They all do this. This is not sanitary!!! When the guy said, he was done and go over there and sit to dry because he had five other people waiting and not to mention all of the seats were full with other customers getting pedicures. I asked him this is not a good pedicure. I also said, Im sorry, can you re-do the painting. Its not good. He acting like he was put out. Then he had another employee come over and finish painting my toe nails. She then said go sit over there to dry. She took my flip flops dropped them on he floor and looked at me. Then I said, you want me to walk bare foot on the dirty floor?? She looked at me and started walking liked I asked her to climb Mt. Everest with her head back then she brought me the pedicure flip flops that every salon supplies to their customers after they get a pedi and she dropped them by me and said here you go. She then shoved them on my feet and said, go sit over there. Never will I go back to Number One Nail Salon. They have unsanitary clippers, nail files and sponges to scrub the bottom of your feet with! These are being used on every customer! I hope I dont get an infection or some sort of foot disease!!! Not happy with this place.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years and it’s been great up until yesterday. I went in to get a fill and polish change, it started out great but then 4 of my nails smudged. The man doing them fixed it. Then when I was all done my nails looked all shriveled and dirty. They looked horrible! By this time I was so done and ready to just leave. I was so upset, I went to a different salon to fix them tonight. I’m disappointed because I’ve loved this salon until now.

Pretty disappointed, but what should I have expected? Numerous sanitary concerns: reused files, unsanitized tools, nail oil brushes that have been used over and over again. No cuticle remover was used, but were painfully pushed back. An intense nail file drill was used to take of shellac that could have been removed using acetone with much less damage to my nail. Said nail drill also cut me as he was not cautious and filed my skin. At the end, he ruined my nails by using a file on them, breaking the seal that would adhere it to my nail much longer, even ruining one nail. I will never come here again. Pure lazy service and cut corners the entire time.

They’ve definitely gone down the drain. I came in to get a pedicure and got the man who I cannot stand because of a manicure he had given me in the past. So that’s the first bad thing. I waited an hour and the pedicure only lasted about 15 minutes and the whole thing was so rushed it felt like he was barely tounching my feet. The water and towels were both way too hot. His fingernails were also stabbing my feet and scratching them the whole time which is so uncomfortable. This isn’t he first time I’ve had a sloppy and rushed treatment here. AKA I still have dead skin on my feet and have very sharp hardly filed down edges. The only good thing about my pedicure today had to be the fact that they didn’t cut mefor the first time. If you have the option don’t go here.

So Ive been coming here for a while and theres always been little problems that I have overlooked but recently when I have gone in to get my acrylic nails done the have cut my cuticles and basically shaved the sides of my nail where the skin is. They have been very rough and whenever they do cut me the dont apologize the just hand me a paper towel with rubbing alcohol which hurts. However, my nails always turn out really nice theyre just very rough, and I end up leaving with bloody cuticles and thats enough for me to never come back.

I got a manicure with gel because the worker told me it lasted longer. Not even two days later the polish & gel chipped. When I went in to ask them to redo it she refused. She said we can only file the nail down. She said if it chips a lot only then would she redo them. Unacceptable!

We went in today and I mentioned I wanted a father/daughter pedicure. They said it would be an hour wait (not an issue) so we came back in 30 minutes thinking we would wait and they started with my daughter right away. Since they were faster than expected, and because she enjoyed her pedicure Im giving this two stars instead of one. However, I mentioned it was for both of us and I just sat there waiting for them to call me over. I was expecting a wait so that wasnt an issue, but about 40 minutes later when my daughter was nearly finished a new person walked in and was immediately seated ahead of me. No one bothered to look up or even address me, the staff were rather cold and when I directly asked the male worker if they even serve male customers he said yes and just blankly looked at me. I hope they enjoyed my paying for my daughters pedicure because its the only business theyll get from me.

3 strikes your out. Ive attempted this place thinking maybe Ive just come on a bad day. Nothing has changed. I paid $27 for a terrible pedicure but mostly rude, short, and unprofessional service. Its my last time giving them my money. My sisters and mom wont be going back either. Time to re- evaluate.

Got my nails filled today and had the worst experience ever. I have gone to this location a few times and havent had any problems until now. The guy filed my real nail completely off. I began to bleed and he didnt even acknowledge that he was hurting me. He continued to shape my nail even though I was obviously in pain.When finished with the set he took his finger nail and dug into my skin underneath my nails and proceeded to dig nail into the wound he had created on my thumb causing it to bleed again. I have NEVER had someone do this poorly on my nails. I am very upset and probably never going back.

I am male and enjoy occasional manicures. Ive been to this nail salon a number of times but recently was my last time Ill ever step foot in there. The staff are rude and do not treat their customers well. They speak in Vietnamese with each other talking negatively and making fun of unsuspecting customers. I understand the language and every time i have visited Ive witnessed the Apauling remarks they make about almost every customer! The man that runs the place is rude and should be fired! There are many nail salons in the area to choose from. Dont use this one!!!

Walked in with no appointment about 10am 3 technicians and one was available so no wait. Had a pedi she was quick gentle and thorough. Plus hot towel and massage. The price $20 was much lower than I have paid in the past. Ill be back for a mani.

If I could rate this place a zero I would!!! They refused to fix my nails after having the wrong color put on prior. They said I would have to pay another $20 to fix it even after the man admitted he told me that my color would fade/change into the correct color. My cuticles were drilled into on 3 different figers. Ombre wasnt blended in the acrylics. ;( the bill was was over priced. After my nails were done he put this oil on and dug his nails into my fresh cuts :D talk about cringing. I wanted to cry about 55% of the time i was getting them done.

Tina is so creative and only charges $5 for all the flowers you want instead of $5 per nail like some salons!!

I do not know how they remember our names, who’s on a mission, who’s getting married and who had a baby, but they do. Now my daughters come from Layton, Tooele and Pocatello to #1 Nails!

Ive been going there since before I can remember with my mom. I went there 8 months ago to get my nails done and my thumb got infected because the cut me!! I decided to give it another try again a couple months later and then I got another infection!😡 The only good one there is van

I was so disappointed. Very rude staff. They rushed my pedicure. Had a gift certificate and it was one day after the expiration. The day before when I tried to get in I waited 2 hrs and finally left. They would not honor my gift certificate. Pedicure tubs are not cleaned well and my toes were painted sloppy.

I am always satisfied with the results. I like the fact that i dont need to make an appointment.

This makes me sad to review this so poorly, as they have been my go to for a long time, but the last year or so they have really gotten rude and dont even bother with reservations .. They dont honor them and give walk-ins priority. They dont provide any type of flip flops and you have to walk on the floor barefoot. Nasty.

I went in to get a fill and then the nail teck told me I needed to do a full new set, so I told her to go ahead and I asked her to do them thicker and she said “ no that’s if they break come back in and she would fix them “ I went back in because 3 broke and they said I’d have to pay . This salon is the worst in town and I’ve been to all the the salons in the area .They don’t do what you want, I asked for 3 coats of gel and she said no she would do that many . Don’t go to this salon if you want good nails
