I have previously used robs auto repair when my jeep failed emissions. Jon gave me advice on how to pass and BAM it passed without the hassle of spending hundreds of dollars. I went there today to drop my girlfriends car off to have the a/c fixed. Previous mechanics were going to charge us more than 400 and making it sound like the compressor went out completely. I was very impressed on the time they had it done.they said a couple hours and had it done just before the mark. I highly recommend this shop if your want true mechanic reliability! I called because I needed a light bulb changed ! John told me to come by and with in 10 minutes he had it changed and me out the door - this place looks like a whole In the wall, but the work is quality everyone inside was a repeat customer with nothing but great things to say about them ! I need some other work done and will be driving down from vail to have them do it as the young man that owns the place is honest and just does great work ! Support real small business and let them fix your issues !

My back tail light was out. My dealership quoted me $350.00 to have it fixed. I took my car to Robs Auto Repair and he fixed it for me in 5 minutes for less then $5.00. Just wonderful!

I went this morning to get a bulb replaced in my headlight not sure what to expect price wise. They were super kind, did it in less than 10 minutes, and didnt even charge for anything except the bulb itself which wasnt expensive at all. BEST CAR REPAIR experience ever. I will be back and if you are in Boulder this is the shop for you.

They made men pay $70 to tell me nothing was wrong with my car. They said they couldnt diagnose the problem unless the problem was happening and then when it started happening again they still werent sure what exactly was wrong. Went to another guy and he figured it out in less than 5 minutes. I lost $70 for them to not even help me. Do not go here unless you want them to overcharge you.

What can I say? Jason provided the best auto repair service I’ve ever experienced and I’m a salty dog with over 12 years experience working at a dealership parts department. Prices are fair, estimates are clearly explained and communication is outstanding.

I can;t say enough good things about Robs. I thought I needed a new alternator, they were honest enough to tell me it was a minor issue with the battery and fixed it immediately. I wish I could give it zero star.My son took my 2008 BMW to Robs Conoco some two months ago. They were supposed to replace the ballast and bulb of the headlight. They did that and then their mechanic Jim tried the test the light with 60 amp when only 40 amp fuse was to be used. As a result, the light module and body harness got destroyed - basically melted the casings of all the wires. Robs told us they cannot fix it, so we towed it to Gebhardt Auto in Boulder. They said that Robs Conoco placed 60 amp instead of 40 amp and burned the wired. They estimated the damage to be more than the price of the car because body harness and the repairs came out to $11,000. I got the car towed to Virginia where I am from and took it to my mechanic and he said that he can repair for $4,000. I asked Rob to send me that amount in two installments. I went through their insurance agency and they denied the claim.It has been two months and I am without the use of the car. It cost me $300 at Gebhardt to diagnose their error, $750 to tow the car to Virginia. It also cost me $1500 for one-way rental to move my son back from UC Boulder to Virginia and now I have to pay $4,000 to fix it - all because they dont know how the fuse works.Now I have litigate and I will be asking for a lot more money than $4,000. All I ask readers to not use their garage and cost them more business than $11,000 by going elsewhere. I liked Rob and he and I have had good conversations over a few years, but this shop is irresponsible and they will cause damage to your vehicles.Please do not go there. I am not disgruntled, just disappointed that they do not take ownership of what they did. I took a working to their shop and in their custody it was damaged beyond repair. They should have taken the effort to fix the damage they caused - instead they sent me packing and did not even pay for the damage after the fact.I will eventually recover the money, but for all of you BEWARE. I called Mike at 4:30 on a sunday because of a strange noise in my car that started after I took it to a cheap oil change service (not doing that again...). Mike stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes, helping me diagnose what the issue probably is and giving me the information I need to sort it out with this service. Thank you!!

The worst mechanic ever, the guy working there was rude. I’ve taken my car for inspection, the guy told me it had tremendous number of problems that would cost me around $3000 to fix it. I was there with a potential buyer, the worker told him not to buy the car from me! I went to other three mechanics, showed them the mechanic’s report, and was told that those issues were due to the old car battery that would cost around $200 to replace. After I changed the battery, all of those car issues were gone. I highly recommend avoiding this place, as you’ll waste your money and time.

Take your car elsewhere. Bought a car and the previous owner said the folks down there had been working on it so should know the vehicles issues. Trusted him and after buying the car took it down to Robs to get a diagnostic test. The 02 Mustang was having some start up issues and previous owner said they knew the fix. Took 2 trips down there and random oxygen sensor/spark plug repairs for me to look under the hood myself. Im already 200 deep just to find out the guy never checked the battery? No genius but I think thats a good starting place as a mechanic. Got my battery replaced, blew a gasket. Guy shredded the bank trying to retread it. Told me after he had never done one and had to Google how to do it. Car is now a fancy lawn ornament as its not worth trying to get it running any more. Wish Id had the right people working on it.

I have been going to Robs Conoco for about 3 years. Rob and John are great. They are very honest and very good mechanics. I like them because they are local and I like supporting local businesses and I am always treated respectfully. Not once have I had an issue with any of their work. I would highly recommend them for any work you need done.

My Cars starter failed, and I had it towed here to get it fixed. Told them my 12 hr. overnight shift just ended and I lived in Denver. They said it was a simple fix, bumped me to the front of the line and charged just over $100 for parts and labor, and I was on my way in less than an hour. They couldve screwed me, knowing I lived in Denver and probably wouldnt be a repeat customer, but instead they went above and beyond to help me out.

A couple of buddies and I were on a road trip when we hear a grinding noise coming from our back right tire. We pulled off at Robs and got service unlike any we would have expected, Rob took as much time out of his day as he could to get to the bottom of the problem. Ended up being pretty insignificant but still I was very impressed with how determined and patient Rob was with our car, as well as it being a very modest price, I would highly suggest using this Auto repair!

Rob has been my mechanic for over 20 years. I need a good and honest person I can trust as I am on my second used car, and they need that extra TLC. I work in Boulder, but live in Parker. As I was leaving the office in Boulder, heading to Parker, with appointments along the way, I notice a nail in my tire. I stopped by Robs Conoco on my way, thinking, if they can do it quickly, great, otherwise, Ill risk it and hope the nail holds. I explained that I was in a hurry, and Rob repaired the problem and had me back on the road in less than 20 minutes! Thank you!

Have had multiple repairs done there. Always done well and inexpensively. These are honest, trustable folks.

These mechanical guys are not professional at all, they can not diagnose issues accurately, my car got oil leak, and they told me that it was oil pan gasket leak. and they replaced a new one that cost me $300. but a few days later, I found it still leak, because I can see a lot of oil on the engine surface just like before, so I back to the shop and let them double check it. this time they told me I need do a head gasket replacement which will cost thousand dollars. I dont know what to say. why they didnt tell me at the first time, and just after I spent $300, they ask me for another $1000, these guys only care the money in your hand, never never send your car there!

We recently had an oil change and tire replacement for our car at Robs. Im always impressed by the efficiency and friendlyness at this station.I would strongly recommend having your car worked on at Robs.

Horrible horrible spot. Went there when I was experiencing engine trouble last week and initially they told me it would be $180 then 30 min later called me and said it would be $410!? Then a week later, I got my oil changed there (still gave them the benefit of the doubt for some reason again, I do not know why) and they change my oil and then tell me my brake lights were all out, which I never saw and never had any discussion of approving them changing the bulbs, and they went ahead and changed the bulbs for $25.... what a crazy amount of $ to change a bulb which takes 15-20 mins tops... I know this because after I told them I only wanted to pay for an oil change it took them that long to yank the bulbs out of my car. All together I gave this place major $$ in the span of a week. It is RIDICULOUS how I was treated, Rob could not even look me in the eye when he was going through the process, Phil tried to tell me it costs $70 at any other place to get your oil changed (not true at all)and Jon was no where to be found, I will not be doing business ever again in the future and wanted to communicate my experience.

Every time I come here they are so helpful, friendly and very fairly priced. I highly recommend Robs Conoco.

I stopped by here because I couldnt get my radiator cap off, wasnt sure if the fluid was low or if my thermostat was out but it had been overheating. Im about to go on a road trip and was pretty panicked. Jeff was such a sweetheart, hosed down my radiator till it was cool enough to take the cap off, filled it up with the fluid I brought, topped it off with some from the shop, checked the rest of my fluids to make sure they were good, and gave me some tips for maintenance on the road. He made sure the radiator and hoses hadnt been dammaged by overheating and didnt charge me a dime. I feel much more confident about this long trip. Thanks a ton Jeff, Ill be coming here for all oil changes and basic maintenance in the future!

First things first; A ripoff place, total disappointment, liars, fake smiles, and the problem never get solved. DONT GO HERE people.(I end up fixing my car problem in a different shop in 5min and for FREE!!) Plus Mike was super rude and unprofessional. I got my lesson, will never stop by again!

What an absolute joke this place is. I called to ask about an uber inspection...this guy told me over $100 because it takes at least an hour! Im no mechanic but I know the basics and to check tire depth and brake pad life amung a few other...come on man... the place uber recommended in Denver charges $15 bucks then I called around boulder average price is $20-25 dollars and about 15-30min total time. Wrong guy you tried to hustle for over $100! You got to be kidding...every place I called said they would do it no problem for nothing if I simply got an oil change....so basically I can get a full synthetic oil change and an uber inspection for 50-70 bucks in about 40 minutes but this guy needs over $100 to check some basics for 15 minutes...come on man have more integrity then that...

Went in for a pack of cigarettes, and pre swiped my card for the purchase while the air headed older gentleman fumbled ringing it up, he charged me $100.31 for the previous persons gas. And before I could say anything he hands me a receipt for the most expensive pack of cigarettes ever. I have been in here multiple times, used to live near by and have minor car repairs done there, and have never had a good experience. The employees are always short tempered, slow and unpleasant its taken over an hour to get it refunded to my card. Which will probably take 48 hours. Avoid this gas station / repair shop like the plague.

I would never go back nor suggest it to anyone. Took my car in to get ujoint and brakes checked told them what I thought maybe wrong. So all they did was agree and not look at it apparently and quoted me 400 to fix it. So I sold the car that day on craigslist for 600 much less than what it was worth to a mechanic because it needed body work as well. Saw the mechanic I sold it to the other day at the DMV, with a huge grin. Ended up just being the brake pads, a very easy fix that would cost only 40 for the pads and I could have done it myself. Thanks for just trying to get more money out of me and not being a trustworthy mechanic.

I drove in just 10 minutes before closing with a VERY low tire; with a smile and the caring attitude of the old days, Jeff checked them all, got all pressures level, gave me advice for the near future, and wouldnt accept a dime. I may move to Boulder just for Robs Conoco!
