Came to my appointment very early and sat in my chair for a bit while he went back and forth preparing the dyes. My hairdresser was very kind. Went there to get my front fringe bleached to a lighter blonde color and dye the rest of my hair black. The front fringe was not all the same color and seemed like it was very rushed. The front was silver colored while a few strands behind it was very brassy yellow. The black dye was surprisingly super quick. Once I took a shower at home, the black hair dye started to wash away like it was the semi-permanant hair dye instead of the actual where it wouldnt wash away at all. Quite disappointed for the pricing for this kind of service.

Ive been going here for several years now. The salon is clean and modern and Ive always gotten a good haircut. The prices are on the high side, but I think its worth it for the quality of service you receive.

Do not go here if you care about your hair. I came here to get a balayage and my hair was fried off after he left bleach on my hair for over a hour (my hair was pre lightened) and he matted my hair up from teasing it during the bleach application and continued to yank and detangle my damaged over processed hair. I left with different shades of white and yellow and completely frizzy hair after getting a blowout. It seems that some of them mainly specialize in men’s haircuts and shouldn’t venture out if they don’t know how.

Ive been seeing Riley at REFINE for years. He always keeps me looking great with fresh haircuts and beard trims. I appreciate his collaborative style where he listens carefully to my input, but also offers his years of experience to help shape it into something that looks great. The hot towels are also so relaxing that sometimes I nearly doze off in the chair. Thanks for the years of A+ service!

Used to love this place for the last two years, but now I cant seem to find an actual appointment! Tried scheduling appointments twice in a row now, have had them changed/cancelled on me twice (one of which was scheduled with the stylist a month in advance, both cancellations due to it not being convenient for the stylist). Please dont list available times if they arent real, especially when your customers have to schedule in advance, we choose our times for a reason and plan our days around them. Unfortunately forced to find a more reliable salon.

Jessica Mitchell is AMAZING!! I refuse to get a hair cut from a different hair styling. If you have curly hair or you like the pixie style, she is your girl.

I got a decent hair cut at Refine, probably not quite worth the base price they have stated of $41. Unfortunately, that base price is what I was told would be my cost when I scheduled my appointment, but after my cut the price suddenly changed to $49. As far as businesses go I value honesty above all else. If it wasnt for the decent cut, this studio would have gotten a one star. If you need a great hair cut, there are much better options around for less than half the base price here.

Wow, never experienced a hair cut like this. Pretty reasonable price for what you get, which includes a hair washing, hair cut, neck shave, conditioning, and a short scalp massage if you want it. Plus a warm towel on the face and a styling at the end. They even give you a robe to keep hair off your shirt. You come out of here feeling refreshed and ready to go. Purchased a membership, which gives you about $5 off on each cut, and free cleanups in between. I see Riley, who is awesome.

Adam is THE MAN! Fantastic first experience, super affordable and honestly thought this was the best haircut Ive ever received. The service is second to none, feels like a high end luxury boutique hair salon (which, Ive never been)...and they offered me a beer! Ill be coming back to Adam, he set the bar high!

Have been cutting my hair here with Jed for a few years now, and its definitely a great experience.Down to earth stylist, with a great cut.Prices are higher than the norm of what I used to spend on a haircut, but I personally think its completely justifiable spending money to feel good, and look good. My hair is on display at all times of the day, so why not splurge on myself? 😊

Ive been going here at least once a month for the better part of a year now and it was the best decision Ive ever made. My main man Riley always makes sure im looking fly as hell every time i leave the shop. Most importantly though, all the stylists here seem to have a real investment in their clients just as much as their work. Great people, great place. Go in and get yourself treated. Treat. Yo. Self. I have thinning hair that grows in lots of directions and is pretty difficult to cut right. While every stylist has their own personality, every time I go here, I walk away happy with a haircut that looks good. Yeah, it costs more than the chains, but the service is great, consistent, and I don’t feel like a sheep that’s come in for a shearing. Basically, I get what I pay for - a great haircut, friendly service and the occasional reeeeally nice straight razor shave.

Ron the owner is a liar and not a nice honest person. My friend called many times to talk to him about working there and every time the receptionist would tell her he would call her back and all he did was totally blow her off... she doesnt even know why he has been so rude and wont return a call, but he will never know what a great stylist he hurt and missed out on in the process of his rudeness of not calling her back. The receptionists were not much nicer either.... kind of arrogant place in my opinion.....

The new owner of this salon is extremely unprofessional. Has been harassing his ex-staff’s clients via email and text. I came to GEM for a particular stylist at the Kirkland location. That stylist is gone and the location is too yet I’m getting all this unwanted communication about the new including extremely unprofessional emails about the drama how the last salon closed. This owner Eric has been asked to stop the communication but it keeps coming. Proceed with caution with this salon.

The owner of this business (or whoever he is) Eric Berger has continuously harassed previous clients from the former Kirkland location. He accessed our personal email and phone numbers with out permission to reach out to all clientele. He was asked numerous times to stop. Be careful going to this establishment.

Midway through our haircuts for my wedding. We had a great experience. We got a haircut, beard trim, and hot shave. I normally cut my own hair but it was a fun experience and I would consider coming back! It was cool that they had a kegerator and served us a beer while we were waiting. Great service and waiting area as well. Call me stingy but $90 for a haircut and shave is a little pricey for me. Spending any money on haircuts/beard trims/ shaves is not worth it for me as I buzz my own hair, trim/condition my beard, and shave to my beardline. Maybe for a special occasion I will come back.

More than a year ago I walked into 18|8 Mens Salon (rebranded now to Refine Mens Salon) with one request: to transform my hairstyle. For much of the past 20 years I have had buzz cuts and high and tights. The few times I did attempt to grow my hair out no stylist could get it right.Then I ran into JP at Refine! In 7 months this man demonstrated his hard work and creativity through the transformation of my hair. I have had friends, family, and strangers out in the community tell me that my hair looks great, which is a testament to JPs skillset in this industry.I am grateful that I have JP to cut my hair. He is dependable and trustworthy and he is authentic in every conversation and interaction. This is not common, which is why I will not go to anyone else but JP! Thank you JP!

I first went in and provided a picture to show my desired style. The stylist ignored the picture and instead of shoulder length hair I got chin length. I expressed I was concerned how it looked. He brushed me off. He didnt bother to style the hair or use any product.I went back a 2nd time to give them another chance. The 2 people at the front could barely be bothered to talk with me. Yeah, I wont be back for a third try.In response to the reply: No, I was not offered anything back in May. I called upset shortly after hoping someone could do something to fix the bad haircut. Instead I got brushed off and told to use styling products. I wasnt given any other advice, or even offered help in any way.So youre right. You are not a good fit for me. Frankly I find your response greatly lacking.
