Meat and potatoes type of gym. Only essential equipment. Not many machines. Small but gets the job done. Good price per month. It’s not really busy when I go so it’s easy to get a good workout in.

I’m in town for three days and they took me right in. A small gym but seems close knit, and everyone works hard. This is a motivating environment with great owners. If you’re in town and need a gym, this is the spot

This is a really cool little gym for anyone passing through. I was in town for work and this place is local owned and run. Very friendly. Has everything you need. Couple of power racks, dumbbells to 100 lbs and a good selection of machines and cardio gear. Small enough but not busy. Great gym 👍

Tremendous local gym. Was in town for a wedding and got a day pass. The gym isn’t huge but has everything you need for a great workout. It definitely has a neighborhood feel which is refreshing after working out at a few of the larger chains. The co-owner (and dog!) met me when I came in and was very friendly as well. I really enjoyed working out there and will be back next time i get back to Boston. 6*

This is a great gym and I wish I could give it higher rating but they have a serious problem with their locker room. It happens at least once a week that I can’t get a work out in because there is no where to lock up my computer bag. Most of lockers won’t even have locks on them and only have a single article of clothing in them that the owner clearly didn’t care about securing. It’s very frustrating

False advertising in the daily rate posted on their sign outdoors. Also, theres not even the possibility to try their gym out once, unlike every other gym Ive ever known

Regans is the best gym in Southie by far! The staff members are extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The equipment is kept clean and in proper working order. The price is affordable which is hard to find in Boston and it is so worth every penny. Yes, this gym is small but it allows for the staff members to really pay attention to their clientele and work side by side you. I have never been to a gym where the owners come over to you and offer their assistance just because they care and you know they care by the fact that they talk to you by first name basis and they know what you are striving to do and help you work towards getting there. I definitely recommend Regans if you are looking for a new gym!

One of the only affordable gyms in South Boston. Great equipment, amazing staff, and plenty of space to do any kind of workout youre looking to get in. I highly recommend signing up and giving it a try if youre looking for that new gym around Southie.

Solid gym in the heart of Southie. Owners and staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and always very helpful. Plenty of cardio and enough weights and machines for all levels. The Thursday morning spin class is awesome and you get an amazing cardio workout. The Saturday spin and sculpt is one of the best workouts I have ever had. Highly recommend this gym

Great small gym with friendly staff. Space and equipment are limited, but with a $45 / month membership, you get what you pay for. As far as equipment goes, heres the breakdown:- 1 Bench Press- 1 Squat Rack- 1 45 degree Leg Press- Medium-sized set of rubber-coated dumbbells- Small-sized set of kettlebells- Small-sized set of rubber-coated plates (standard 2.5 - 45lbs)- Small-sized, set of iron plates (standard 2.5 - 45lbs)- 3-4 flat benches- 2-3 adjustable inline benches- 1 preacher curl bench- 1 hamstring curl machine- 1 large multi-exercise rack (2 pulleys, 1 lat pulldown, 1 seated row, 1 free weight pull up bar, 1 adjusted weight pull up bar w/ dip handles)- 5-8 treadmills (no personal TV attachments, TVs are wall mounted above)- 1 rowing machine- 2-4 recumbent bikes- 10-20 spin bikes- 5-8 elliptical machines- 6-8 exercise balls- 1 bosu ball- 6-8 medicine balls (10lbs max)- 1 heavy bag (almost never set up unless youre in a boxing class or there was one earlier that day)- 10-20 jump ropes- 10-20 boxing gloves- 2-3 small jump boxes- 15-20 yoga mats- 8-10 ab wheelsWhats this gym missing?- A seated calf raiser- Trap Bar for deadlifts- Seated Pec Fly machine- 2 more bench presses- 2 more squat racks- 2000 more square feet

This is a great local Southie gym which is a wise investment for the winter months when I didnt want to go the BSCs that my company paid for.
