Recently hired our dream nanny through Washburn. Washburn ran a truly value-add process and interviewed each candidate, only providing candidates to us that they felt met our specifications. The process also included (i) providing full resumes for each candidate so we had a concrete understanding of work experience and (ii) conducting reference checks on all relevant job experience. Highly recommend over any other agency in the area.

I have known Sarah for a few years now. I worked for her in 2015/2016, helping to recruit people for the on call/event babysitting services the agency offers. I have only ever had positive experiences with her and her team. She is professional, funny, down to earth and knows the industry well. Sarah supports the nannies who she places as well. Excellent agency. I am a caregiver who takes on backup nanny jobs to supplement my income and they always help me find families in my area to care for. They have helped me a lot over the years.

We had such a pleasant and positive experience working with them. My husband and I have a very chaotic household with 3 young children, his crazy travel schedule for his business as well as my own business and volunteer commitments. The agency was extremely attentive to our long list of requests for a nanny and successfully found us someone who fits perfectly into our family and busy lifestyle. I greatly appreciated the thorough background check and extensive interviewing process. I just dont have the time, nor do I have the resources to do these things to the extent at which they do. Knowing our children are in safe, capable and loving hands is most important. Im so glad I didnt try to tackle this nanny search on my own. Having been a nanny and now a mother herself, I felt I could fully trust Sarahs judgement in the hiring process.

If I could give zero stars to this agency, I would. Families beware: this agency will take thousand of dollars from you in fees and leave you with nothing. The first “professional” they placed with us was a wanna be Instagram model who placed our children at risk. The second was someone with zero early childhood education and zero skill set in terms of working with toddlers. She quit four months into her twelve month contract, and after thousands of dollars in fees we were left with nothing but hardship. They do not offer anything that resembles professional services. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Ive known Sarah for years, and both her and her team are always working hard to find the right fit for everyone. Ive enjoyed working with the Washburn Agency and highly recommend this great team!

This is hands down the best agency in Boston to work with!

Update: There has not been any communication since 9/21/2017. Very disapointed! As a job seeker - look for another agency!
