I must preface by saying that the haircut I received here was praised by my wife. That being said, it was a different style I was trying and if anything its good to know she likes that. Ill gladly give credit for the fade, because that was rather well done given how quickly it was done.For $25, I normally expect a haircut which includes facial hair. I guess I was wrong for simply asking How much for a haircut? because it was literally just that: a haircut. Imagine my surprise when, once finished, the barber simply said, Done. I was too surprised to ask about my beard and goatee. Why did I bother taking off my mask then? Very little attention was even given to my side burns; it was like an attempt to demarcate boundaries between haircut and facial hair.From the reviews, Im seeing that it costs an extra $5 for facial hair. If you have updated information on this, please feel free to chime in.Heres the kicker: he asked whether I wanted a line up. I have never been asked that! Am I wrong in assuming what is included in a haircut?!And finally, I personally gauge a barbers attention to detail and care based on his use of a straight razor, if used at all. I think what qualifies as a haircut is null without one. In this case: zilch. One wasnt used.I was done in ~15 minutes. Cash only.

I loved the fade I got. Amine is excellent at what he does. The place has a comforting and friendly atmosphere and these are one of the few barbers in Boston that actually give you value for the money spent. I left feeling fresh.

Was very pleased to see how seriously this barbershop is taking its COVID precautions. Masks for everyone (they are even able to keep your mask on while trimming around the ears), gloves, hand sanitizer, and plenty of social distancing.

They did a great job cutting my hair and did it with confidence. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out bc they mainly cut men’s hair and I am a women with a pixie cute. They are incredibly reasonably priced and for those that do not agree you must not live in the city.

My go to barbershop. Always quick and pleasant service. Most importantly they always do a stellar job to my specifications. Just had my fade done by Amine and it was perfect. And it only took 20 minutes, a combo hard to come by.

Poor communication, poor haircut, poor cleaning, poor service and charged me more than what was advertised in the shop. One side shorter than other. Extremely unsatisfied with their behavior, would never go back here and advise to better spend your $30 somewhere else, there are many other good places around.

One of the worst haircuts I’ve had in a long time. Told him I wanted slight fade and to keep hair long on top. Got no fade, and hair is short on top. Cheap cut but not worth a terrible haircut. Avoid unless you want to look like a LEGO.

I got a haircut from Mahmoud a few weeks ago. It was literally the best haircut I have ever gotten. I came down from my research lab in Longwood to get the haircut while I was waiting on something. Mahmoud did such a great job that I went back to work with my brand new haircut.I would highly recommend this place to every one who works in Longwood-- theyre fast, convenient, relatively inexpensive, and do a really great job.

This place is amazing and well-decorated, good job about that! The barbers are skilled for the job that they do. They cut fresh and clean. I’d rate it 5 stars if it wasnt for the long queue I had to wait, but I guess it was worth it!Definitely recommend

First time experience was good. The second time I went there, the barber made a serious mistake, making me nearly bald. I will not risk my hair style in this barber shop again.

Reading the comments below I was worried I would get completely shaved if I asked for a skin fade, but I showed the barber two pictures of of a specific type of fade I was looking to get, and he did it properly and quickly (about 20 minutes). For 20$ its a pretty good deal. Ill be going there again for sure.

Once place to get a hair cut very nice

Fiendly staff, relaxing environment, and super clean hair cut. Easily one of the best hair cut I got in a long time. Kadhim made me feel like a new man. I see him every other friday after I finish my work. Can not think of a better way to start my weekend!

For $25, this haircut was not what it shouldve been. The fade was descent but the barber could not even box out the front of my hair with a straight razor (thankful he did not go the extra mile because I would have regretted it.) Where Im from, a haircut at this price gets you everything and 5 star treatment. Very disapointed. Will probably not return again. If you want a run for your money try supercuts.

They had no idea what fading meant, as the older guy keep buzzing after I told him what I needed, which probably meant fading to him. And I talked to the younger guy about fading. He seemed to know better English. All he said was idk why you dont like it, man. I said I like the fading, not buzzing to the scalp.

One of the reviewers mention about a childs hair cut costing $20.00. I agree; I been taking my children to get there hair cut every two to three weeks, which is costing me big time but I cant complain about how great they do and its down the street from where we live now. Kediem (not sure if I spelled his name right) he takes his time and is very detailed when doing my childrens haircut. He is really good and even though it is expensive, I will take my chance to keep going back there than to other barbershops. Everyone has their way for wanting their hair to be done; I had troubled going through so many places that ruined my childrens hair but this place and the people didnt. Overall, sometimes it is worth paying for than to pay cheap and get a mess up hair do elsewhere.

Some of the guys dont speak great English, but they always manage to make my hair look good regardless. I dont go anywhere else.

Been here twice. First time did not get a great cut. Wasnt terrible but still not good. Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. They had raised thier prices and i got a worse cut. Asked for a little off the top but the barber took it all off. No different then him taking the buzzers all over my head. Will be taking my buisness elsewhere from now on.

This was the worst hair cut I’ve gotten in my life. I asked for a fade and there was no fade... it looked like a bowl cut. Every time I asked for him to fix it he’d say “no this is good, eh”. Terrible barber, should not be allowed to cut hair.

I would never return here and would not recommend anyone going. Im from CT and have been staying in Boston due to my son being in the hospital. I decided to walk to the shop. He tried to charge me $35 just for cleaning up my beard...and the sign said 20 for the cut...so basically I would have been charged over $50. I got out of the chair and said thanks but no thanks. This guy is taking advantage of people who are stuck with family members at the hospital. I took a uber to Fernandaz Barbershop and Beauty Salon on Cedar Street in Jamiaca Plains and they did a great job. They charged me $20 for my beard AND cut. Stop letting this guy rip you off.

Asked very simple things: for hair to be long enough to rest over my ears, and to cut ~1/2 of hairs length everywhere. Literally just took the clipper/razor and passed me like some cat or dog, then used scissors for the front. Failed to do either of the two things I asked (he cut like 80% of my length). Im not sure they understand much English.

Their job means it is okay, but the prices are expensive compared to the other places and almost double, if you are Gulf, calculate them according to the list, the prices are followed, because if you ask them how much the account said you are $ 60, and with the list 45, Totaly over price
