I am very picky when it comes to getting a hair cut and have checked out multiple spots in Boston but Miguel is by far the best barber that I have been to. He knew immediately what to do with my hair and was thorough with the process. I have been coming to him for a year now and can’t imagine going to anyone else.

Went there for a quick shave during a layover and was kindly squeezed in between client appointments by the owners, as a walk-in. Very nice of them. From the discussions i heard while waiting for my turn this place seems to have fairly loyal customers as everyone knew each other by name! The shave was very well executed. I suggest you book or give them a call before going!

Miguel does a great job cutting hair

I’ve been going here for a year (as of late 2018). I will continue going monthly.George and Miguel are both fantastic. They provide consistent, quality haircuts for too low of a price (close to Supercuts haircut pricing). Their engaging conversation and openness to last minute schedule changes is very much appreciated for someone who has to rush out of work and get a haircut before the train commute home. I’ve never gotten a haircut I disliked, but George has offered that “if it’s a bit too long, just come back and I’ll trim it up”. Great price, conversation, quality, consistency and flexibility earns them 5 stars.

Miguel is extremely good. My office is a couple of blocks away, and Miguel lets me know when to come, gets me in the chair usually right at that time, gets a great cut done, and gets me back to work. A great cut at a fair price in a neighborhood shop, but with the attention to your schedule that the downtown guys really appreciate. Miguel is a great, congenial guy, as well.

This is a very small, very busy barber shop. They offer affordable haircuts ($24) and fast service. There are two barbers servicing the shop. Bear in mind that you need to call in advance and show up on time. They take clients in 15min time slots and people know it and show up like clockwork. Living in cambridge, this place is out of my way, but coming all the way here pays off. Miguel cut my hair today, he has a quirky humor but the haircut was much better than other barber shops Ive visited in the Boston area.

Simple clean haircuts/trims for $17 so $20 after tip. Miguel is always nice and friendly. Just be sure to make an appointment on Saturday or busy days, and dont cancel at the last minute...Miguel was telling me horror stories about people who cancel at the last minute so he didnt have a chance to fill their slot ...totally rude :-P

A quality cut for a fair price $22.00 cash only. In and out in 15 minutes with an appointment. Appointments strongly recommend.

Miguel is an exceptional barber very personable with great service. Often gets pretty busy so its a good idea to make appointments especially on weekends.

I can not recommend this barbershop, unfortunately. They totally botched my son’s simple cut.

Barber cannot do line ups. He should have been upfront about that before he starting cutting my hair. He actually made my line up worse. We were having small talk and the barber insulted me several times. Just go to this place for the basics if anything

Be sure to call for an appointment (either 1-2 days in advance). I showed up one day and got lucky, but otherwise, good barber off the mainstream of Back Bay.
