This review is several weeks/a couple months late but my guys were Joshua & Mauricio!They did an amazing job! Were here about 5 hours, completely removed & replaced the old a/c unit with a great cleanup as well.I cannot speak highly enough about those two.Thank you guys once again, its nice to have an a/c that actually works!

Both Mark and Gary were extremely professional and accommodating. They successfully addressed my excessive humidity concerns, and fixed an additional rattling from the condenser without being asked! I appreciated their thoroughness and follow-up on our issues and would highly recommend Dr. Kool for your regular maintenance needs.

In Southwest Florida, as you can imagine, A/C companies are a dime a dozen. And, to try and stand out, most of them offer low prices on maintenance contracts to get their foot in the door, only to tell you that you need a new system as soon as they show up. Dr. Kool Air Conditioning is the first company Ive come across whos business model is built around honesty. If your A/C is working fine, theyll tell you. If its not, they give you estimates on repair AND replacement. The choice is yours, because they are more in the customer satisfaction business than the A/C industry. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Being a snowbird, I entrusted this company to do a proper installation, unsupervised. When you look at the picture, you will see that they cut corners on the installation. What you see is all the tubing in FRONT of the AC. They should have installed it to the side. Because of this, it is next to impossible to remove the air filter without a struggle. It usually ends up being damaged. Furthermore, I am unable to use standard filters with the unit. Good luck getting guests or tenants to maintain your first while you are renting your place out. In order to fix up this mess, it would end up costing as much as a new installation. I am now stuck with this.

Thank you so much to Dr. Kool for coming out in the pouring rain. After many failed attempts from other companies, mark was able to figure out the problem and get my unit back to working order. I am happy to finally find a trustworthy company that is reliable and professional.

When it comes to business, customer service is what separates average companies from GREAT companies. Dr. Kool has proven to us, they are a great company! We had a little confusion during our scheduling of the appointment but, when Robert arrived onsite he fixed and serviced our unit thoroughly and explained professionally what happened during the scheduling. Another company wanted to charge us $700 to replace a part that Robert fixed onsite proving their truthful approach to customer service. Because of his honesty, we signed up for the maintenance program knowing our future calls will be dealt with fairly and honestly.

While I havent needed Dr. Kools service myself, I know when I do, or when any one I hear needs an honest, reputable, and trustworthy contact in air conditioning, I know who to recommend. They treat their customers how they would want their own families to be treated.The owner stands by his work and if there ever is a mistake by him or his employees, he makes the situation right for his customers.

Gary was exceptional! Super kind & explained everything he was doing in terms someone with no HVAC knowledge (me) could understand . He inspected & cleaned all components of the unit and water drain both in the attic and outside. He cleaned up after himself and was very polite. He fixed our issue and was in & out quickly. Great job, Gary!

Travis and Travis are excellent! We have purchased 2 units from Dr. Kool. One for our rental condo and one for our main home. Marc the owner is excellent to work with, and we have never waited more than 25 minutes for a tech to come - even this Saturday night!

I had Robert come out yesterday at to fix my fan motor at 5:30 in the afternoon I thought for sure he is going to ask for an arm and a leg. But nope it was an easy fix and affordable really I was so in pinch and asked another company to come out and was told it would be an emergency call and just a large upfront cost. Great, reliable company! When my A/C went out they came pretty quickly...they were able to temporarily fix a broken part (I wanted time to decide if I wanted to spend the money for a new part or just replace my 15yr old unit). There was absolutely no pressure from them, which I really appreciate. When the part did break again I called them at 10pm and not only got a quick response from a technician, but the owner, Mark also called me to check in. Their quick response any time of day gives you peace of mind. Mark and his technicians seem very honest and are reasonably priced. I’m very happy with Dr Kool!

I live in a condo and needed to have my air conditioner as well as my line set replaced. Dr. Kools technicians came and ran into some trouble pulling the line, so Mark came to help his guys. They ended up staying until almost 8 pm, and had to come back the next morning to finish. They didnt charge me a penny more than what he had quoted me, even though they ended up spending much more time here than planned. They left their working area clean and made sure that everything was in good working order before leaving! I will recommend these guys anytime!

I have been with Mark and Dr. Kool for several years. Service is always great! Gary installed a replacement of my upstairs A/C last year after spending extra time troubleshooting and wrestling the problem to the ground. When Mark came out this week to see why the downstairs unit wasnt keeping up, it was an easy decision to opt for a new unit rather than spend $800 to keep the 15-year-old unit going a little while longer. I was confident that I was getting a good price and that I was being told the truth. Richie and Saul installed the new unit and did an excellent job. They protected the work area, cleaned up and did the install in just a few hours.

I have been a customer of Air Naples since 2007, and will now be a long time customer of Dr. Kool Air Conditioning. An AC Technician from Dr. Kool named Izzy came to my home today (2/18/19) for a scheduled maintenance appointment. Izzy was an awsome guy and did a great job servicing my AC unit. He was very thorough and gave me a good report on the operational status of the unit. My air conditioning was not working correctly. I needed Dr. Cool to come out in the morning and fix it. Mark with Dr. Cool rearranged his schedule so he could come stop by first thing in the morning. He said that it was a very minor problem with a switch and and showed me how to correct it. Mark was kind enough not to charge me for the visit! Can you believe it! Thank you Mark and Dr. Cool! I would definitely recommend them.

Richard came to check on my a/c today and was amazing. I live in Palm Villas apartments and our air conditioning units have been neglected by our maintenance people for year. He was friendly, honest and professional. He is coming back next week to replace my air handler and I have no doubt it will be done quickly and efficiently if Richard does it.

Ridiculous estimate to install an electronic air cleaner. A job that would take one person a couple of hours and they said they needed $500 in labor. This is after we paid them over $5,000 in 2017 for a new A/C unit after Irma. Their a/c maintenance plan is over $160 that takes about a 1/2 hour twice a year. Companies like this should be exposed for price gouging.

O.K folks here is an honest review of the service I received from Dr. Kool. You can judge as to whether or not to use the services of a company that treats their customers as described below:On 6/30/2019 my ac unit stopped running and I called Dr. Kool for repairs.While waiting for the service truck a friend noticed the drain tube was clogged and he proceeded to vacuum it out while I changed the thermostat neither of which resolved the issue. I put the old thermostat back (since nothing changed) and shortly thereafter Dr. Kool arrived.I explained the problem and that we vacuumed the drain (not mentioning I tried replacing the thermostat) and he proceeded to do something with the safety switch (turns off the unit if the drain backs up) and the unit came to life. Mark (the owner) then decided that the thermostat was the issue and replaced it to the tune of $269. (To be fair it was Sunday late afternoon when the service was done).With the unit up and running I did not question the repair and promptly paid the bill in full.Fast forward less than 3 months and the unit has shut down once again.I noticed water pooling near the air handler and guessed the drain was clogged but had no luck getting it clear with my methods so I called Dr. Kool for advice.I was told since its been almost 3 months and a different problem he would come out and clear the drain tube for over $200. I stated it was always the problem from the start and he admittedly denied refusing to even come out without my assurance covering the new charge. A heated discussion ensued and I was abruptly hung up on. I contacted a friend who works in HVAC and I was instructed how to resolve the issue (which I did) and everything is up an running normal once again.Thats it, the facts only as I have no need to embellish a story like this nor do I get any satisfaction out of giving negative reviews on any particular company.I simply wanted to share my experience with the community and give you the ability to make a better informed decision as to who works next on your HVAC unit.

I recently moved into a home in Bonita Springs and the AC motor quit working. I called my home warranty company and they hooked me up with Dr. Kool. I was informed that the serviceman would be at my home in the next 2-3 hours. Mark from Dr. Kool was at my home within 2 hours, was able to diagnose the problem in 20 minutes and fixed the problem that very same day. I can not even begin to tell you how pleased I was with Mark. The whole experience was top notch, work was done quickly and professionally. I am now a life long customer of Dr. Kool. If anyone is in need of HVAC services, these are the guys to call.
